I got into an accident on Friday, November 13, [redacted], and I don't think I caused it. The pub had blocked off most of the parking lot with jersey barriers, making it hard to see in the dark and rain. I accidentally hit one of the barriers while trying to navigate through. No one was around as it was raining. My license got suspended immediately for medical reasons, and I'm looking to have a hearing in Plymouth.

On Friday, November 13, [redacted], I was involved in an accident where I hit a jersey barrier. I believe the Sea Dog Pub is responsible as they had placed barriers in the parking lot without proper lighting or reflectors, making them virtually invisible. This lack of visibility led to the accident, especially since it was dark and raining with no diners outside. I have noticed that safety cones have been placed now, but if they were there initially, the accident could have been avoided. I unknowingly hit another barrier thinking I had passed the last one. I would like to request a hearing to address this issue in Plymouth.

On Friday, November 13, [redacted], I accidentally hit a jersey barrier in the White's Path parking lot. The Sea Dog Brew Pub had randomly placed barriers without proper visibility measures like lights or reflectors. Despite being dark and rainy, no safety precautions were taken. I mistook the last barrier and collided with another due to their almost invisible grey color. The situation has improved since, with safety cones now in place. Had those been there initially, it would have prevented the accident leading to the suspension of my license. I am requesting the RMV to organize a hearing in Plymouth.

I traded in my leased car for a new one last Thursday. The dealer is transferring my Cape & Islands plates (CI657L) to the new vehicle with a different leasing company. However, it's been 4 business days, and he still doesn't have the new registration. I am currently without a vehicle during the Holidays, and the dealer can't deliver the new car without the registration. What steps can I take to obtain my new registration promptly?

I received a notice stating I had to take a driver re-training class by December 21 to avoid license suspension due to three surcharge offenses from 2[redacted]. I completed the nsc.org class on December 20, but my license showed "Suspended" on December 21. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue as I complied with the requirements by the deadline provided.

I am in the process of purchasing a car from my boss, who obtained a [redacted] Mercedes-Benz E320 after acquiring a company. The vehicle has low mileage. However, when my boss transferred the title to sell it to me, the document came back indicating "Odometer Altered" with 75,[redacted] miles listed. I just verified that the car's odometer actually shows 75,[redacted] miles. Both the seller and buyer are trustworthy individuals, and I am certain that no tampering occurred. What steps should I take to resolve this discrepancy? Thank you, Joe K.

I am looking to register a car in Massachusetts. The previous owner passed away in May [redacted], and his only living relative from Arkansas wants to sell it. I offered $[redacted], and he agreed. The title is missing, but I have all the records from purchase to death, a death certificate, and proof of the transaction. I am unsure how to proceed without a will or probate. Any advice on obtaining a title and registering the vehicle would be helpful. Thank you, David G.

My 20-year-old son completed an online Driver Education course through Driversed.com and successfully received the certificate. Unfortunately, the certificate was not sent to the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles, causing issues with obtaining a car insurance discount. How can we submit the certificate to the registry to ensure it is on file for the insurance discount?
Additionally, I have questions about attending parent Driver Education classes for each of my children. One child attended lessons at one driving school, while my daughter attended another due to the pandemic limiting in-person class availability. I only attended the online class with my daughter. Do I need to attend a session for my son as well to ensure he receives credit?

I am currently facing issues with my driver's license. I originally had a license from Massachusetts but moved to Vermont without transferring it over. Unfortunately, I was arrested and lost all my identification documents, including my Social Security card, which requires an in-person visit with a birth certificate to replace. Due to being on house arrest and unable to travel, obtaining a new ID has become a challenge. I need it for a remote job I am starting and am seeking help to retrieve my information.

I have entered all the information correctly, but the online tool for canceling license plates indicated that my [redacted] Subaru Impreza (License Plate Number 8FKV80) is not considered a Normal Passenger License Plate. However, it definitely is!
My car was totaled by a fallen pine tree in my front yard, and accordingly, I am canceling the license plate registration. It appears that either the online cancellation tool is not working properly or does not have access to the correct data. Help is much appreciated! - Gary F.

I am in need of a letter to verify my registration. A vehicle with a similar plate allegedly went through a toll in Maryland without an EZPass, resulting in my registration being incorrectly associated with the violation. The vehicle in question is a [redacted] white Cadillac with veteran plate registration # CD 57, while my car is a [redacted] red Thunderbird with antique plates registration # CD57. The discrepancy is that the vehicle in violation has a space between the CD and 57, whereas my registration does not. After contacting Maryland authorities and providing them with pictures and all relevant information, they claim they are unable to resolve the issue and are threatening to suspend my registration if I do not pay the fine. The initial fee was $2.19 but has now increased to $27.19. They have requested a letter from the Massachusetts RMV to demonstrate the difference in registrations.

Hi,
I swapped my VW for a Kia at Kia in Yarmouth, MA on February 11, [redacted]. Yesterday, I contacted VW to check if they were paid by Kia after a month as I was receiving bills from both Kia and VW. They mentioned they sold my trade-in. I intend to notify the registry that they possibly sold the car without the correct title to VW since they didn't clear the lien first. I suspect Kia is misleading me, and I want to gather evidence of what happened, as I was looking to explore other options since I am dissatisfied with our agreement.
Best regards,
Teresa D.

I have recently moved out of Massachusetts and am facing difficulties canceling my registration due to the unavailability of assistance through phone calls or the RMV website. My car, previously registered in Massachusetts under my name and used by my wife, has been relocated to California and re-registered there since November [redacted]. Despite the RMV's indication that plates did not need to be returned, my registration is now showing as revoked possibly due to my current California insurance replacing the previous coverage. I have attempted to update my information online without success, encountering an infinite loop, and have repeatedly been disconnected when calling for support after listening to a lengthy message. I am seeking guidance on correcting this issue remotely, as I am unable to travel back to Massachusetts in person to resolve it.

Last week, I scrapped my vehicle registered under my name. I am now buying a new car from an out-of-state dealership and intend to transfer the registration from the old car to the new one within the 21-day grace period of the state of emergency. I am in the process of updating my insurance policy with GEICO. However, I received a notification indicating that Massachusetts state law mandates GEICO to confirm the registration transfer or cancellation online. Before removing the old car from my policy, I need to submit a form on the Massachusetts License Plate Surrender site. I prefer transferring the registration rather than canceling it, so I seek guidance on the correct sequence of steps to comply with Massachusetts law. Your assistance in confirming the proper order for transferring my registration to the new vehicle would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, A.S.

I am writing to request the cancellation of my vehicle registration (1TMN88) in Massachusetts. I have encountered issues trying to cancel online as the system couldn't verify my information. My vehicle is registered until August [redacted], with Excise Tax paid for [redacted] to Medford Authority. I find this situation quite unusual. My name is Charles B. Manuel, Jr. and I am 71 years old, born on 9/24/49. In the late 1960s or early 1970s, my Massachusetts driver's license was either suspended or revoked due to speeding tickets and possibly other violations, but nothing as serious as a DWI. Unfortunately, I have no documentation from this incident that occurred over five decades ago. I managed to resolve the issue in Massachusetts and obtained driver's licenses in Connecticut in [redacted] and Florida in [redacted]. After moving back to Florida recently, I visited the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in Miami to renew my license. However, they discovered the old Massachusetts suspension/revocation from over 50 years back in the National License Registry, preventing me from getting a new Florida license. Despite my attempts to contact the Massachusetts RMV, I have been unsuccessful. I have a job starting on April 12 that requires frequent driving from Miami Beach to West Palm Beach, and it's imperative to clear this up swiftly. I appreciate any assistance in connecting with the Massachusetts RMV promptly to resolve this matter. Thank you for your support.
Regards,
Charles B. Manuel, Jr.

I received a new driver's license in October [redacted] without any restrictions, even though I require eyeglasses to drive. I provided a form from my eye doctor to meet the vision requirements as I failed the eye test. I understand this form may need to be submitted annually.
To simplify this process, I am exploring the possibility of taking the eye test for a daylight-only license, which I believe I can pass. This type of license might eliminate the need for yearly medical forms.
I wonder if this is a viable option. My current license does not indicate my need for glasses while driving. Perhaps I could obtain a new five-year license.
I appreciate your assistance in this matter and eagerly await your response. Thank you for your attention to my inquiry.

I have been trying to reach your contact number for the past 5 hours with no success. I've been disconnected three times after holding for one hour each time, and at one point, I was on hold for 2.5 hours. During one attempt, I finally spoke to someone only to be transferred again and waited an additional hour only to get disconnected once more.
I recently relocated to Texas in late October and have successfully transferred my registration, license plate, license, inspection, and insurance within the state.
I urgently need assistance but have had no luck despite calling 5-6 times. On two occasions, I was mere minutes away from speaking with a representative but was then moved to an estimated 50-minute wait time. Unfortunately, I can't cancel through the portal due to a "reinstatement" fee, as I currently have "no insurance." I've been persistently trying to reach someone for four hours without success.
The portal has been unhelpful, and as someone who works in customer/technical support, I have never had to file a complaint about any support line until now. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

To whom it may concern, My name is Jason. I was arrested at the end of [redacted], and my wallet was taken during the booking process and was not returned to me. I have tried multiple times to retrieve it because my license and other items were inside. This incident occurred in Vermont, and my issued ID was from Massachusetts. To obtain a new license from Vermont, I need my old license which I no longer have. I am inquiring if the Massachusetts RMV would still have my information on file. I am unable to visit the RMV in Massachusetts currently; however, a family member who resides there could potentially pick up a copy or picture of my old license and mail it to me. I am willing to cover any fees required to obtain a new copy of the license or a picture of it. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello, good afternoon. My name is Miguel A. Villegas. I have gone 5 times to get my ID at the Motor Vehicle office in Fall River. The issue is that the first time I went, the person who assisted me said they couldn't give me my ID because there are 2 profiles under my name. I explained that it's not possible since it's my first time applying. I even brought my ID application, original documents like birth certificate, social security card, and tax documents, but the person didn't even look at them. They gave me a number to call, which turned out to be wrong. I went back 4 more times with a police report for identity theft. I made appointments but they keep saying they can't do anything. How is it possible to have such inefficient and rude staff at an agency like this? After my fifth visit on April 16, [redacted], I faced the same issue. As a responsible citizen with all my original documents in compliance with the law, how can you help me? They even gave me a link that was also wrong. What should I do now?
