I'm Peter A. Burnett. I contacted the RMV and endured an almost 8-hour wait. I'm currently waiting again and likely to get disconnected before reaching the agent. I've been trying to obtain the title for my [redacted] Hyundai Tucson involved in an accident. Safety Insurance requires the title, and I've secured proof of loan payment from Toyota. An RMV rep mentioned emailing the document, but the address seems invalid. Please provide a valid email for sending the document as I need it to receive replacement funds from the insurance. The Registration #: 6073RP, VIN: KM8JU3AC8BU20079, is for a green Hyundai Tucson 4-door. Also, if not feasible, can you locate the previous RMV rep who spoke to me? Kindly have her call me at [redacted]. Your help is appreciated. Thank you and stay safe. Respectfully, Peter A. Burnett

I recently relocated from MA to RI and attempted to obtain a RI driver's license to adhere to state regulations. However, there was a hold preventing the issuance of my license due to a computer error originating from [redacted]. This error linked a phantom license to mine, leading to the suspension of my license for exceeding citation limits. Despite completing required driver retraining courses before the deadline, my license status remains "suspended" with associated fees. This situation is not my fault as I was unaware of the error in [redacted]. I have invested time, money, and effort into rectifying this issue, yet I am still unable to comply with RI law. It is frustrating to be caught in the bureaucratic complexities of the RMV system. I hope for a resolution after diligently fulfilling all requirements imposed.

I am looking to reinstate my Massachusetts license so I can commute to work without any concerns, even though I presently hold an out-of-state license. I need to resolve outstanding excise fees and transfer my out-of-state CDL to Massachusetts. Can this process be completed over the phone or online? My license has been suspended since [redacted] due to unresolved child support issues, which I failed to address while residing in Montana.

I donated a vehicle to the Salvation Army in October [redacted]. Recently, I received a letter from the Springfield, MA parking department stating that my vehicle was towed and is in storage incurring fees. I tried contacting the number on my donation receipt but couldn't reach anyone. Due to the pandemic, I attempted to schedule an appointment online without success. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you, Christopher Daly, S[redacted]8.

Hello, my name is Keith Derry. I recently renewed my car registration from May [redacted] to May [redacted], and the payment was successfully processed by the RMV on June 1st. However, I haven't received the new registration in the mail yet. I tried checking online, and it shows that my car, a Ford Contour, is registered for the next year. I need the registration to schedule an inspection but can't get through to anyone at the RMV by phone or make an appointment. How can I ensure I receive my registration promptly so I can fulfill the inspection requirement? I'm worried I won't be able to drive legally without it. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Keith Derry.

I am Alexander T. Z., and I recently received a notice that my driver's license was suspended due to a previous issue in New York State. After speaking with the RMV and faxing the required documents for clearance, I am still unable to pay the $[redacted] reinstatement fee online. I have attempted to schedule an appointment in person without success and have been unable to reach an agent after calling multiple times. The current situation is urgent as I need my license reinstated to commute to work. I am seeking advice on resolving this matter promptly to pay the fee and lift the suspension. Thank you for any assistance.

I'm trying to schedule an appointment at an RMV service center to apply for a learner's permit using the RMV website. However, I am facing difficulty with the online portal. When I follow the steps to make an appointment and apply for the learner's permit, I encounter a message instructing me to apply for the permit first. Yet, when I do so and input my details, I receive a notification stating that I must complete the transaction at an RMV Service Center. The message suggests contacting ([redacted])-[redacted] for help and provides a list of required information. It appears that I'm stuck in a loop where I can't initiate the permit application without visiting the RMV center, but I can't schedule an appointment without beginning the permit application. Any guidance on how to proceed would be appreciated.

My wife, J.P., recently completed an online course with the National Safety Council on 6/30/20 to lift her suspended driver's license. Despite passing the course, her license remains suspended. The National Safety Council informed me that we need to request the suspension to be lifted directly from the DMV. I've attempted to call the MassRMV multiple times, waiting over an hour each time with no success.

After submitting my details for renewing my driver's license, I encountered an error message claiming I have an outstanding citation with the following details: Citation Number: M[redacted] Violation Date: 9/8/[redacted] Request Hearing By: 9/28/[redacted] Citation Amount: $[redacted].00 Late & Release Fees: $0 Amount Due Today: $[redacted].00 This information appears to be inaccurate as I have not been notified of any citation since [redacted], and there are no late fees due. Despite the error, I am only being given the option to pay without an opportunity to dispute the citation. I have never come across this issue in all my years of online renewals. Furthermore, no correspondence has been received from the RMV by mail regarding this matter. I kindly request an RMV specialist to contact me promptly at [redacted] to assist in resolving this issue. Thank you, Lorraine.

This is my fourth email to the RMV. Please reply. I am becoming very frustrated. My license was suspended due to health issues. I completed the suspended unit process at the RMV. I was then sent a letter stating I could set up a road test. When I tried to do this online, it wouldn't allow me, stating an invalid license number. I called the listed number and after a 3-hour and 17-minute wait, I was told there was nothing they could do. I received an email from someone named Deb Brakley (spelling may be wrong) saying they opened the site for me to schedule, but that did not work. I responded to her and she instructed me to call back at [redacted]. When I called, it was all automated with no option to speak with someone. Please help me, do not ignore - please respond. Thank you in advance, J.E.R. ([redacted])

I have been attempting to cancel my registration for my [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee with registration number 6776KK under the name Robert Schmidt at [redacted] Goldsmith St., Littleton, [redacted], online for the past three weeks. However, I am unable to complete the transaction as I cannot enter my email address to receive the security code necessary for the cancellation process. My email address is [redacted], and I have been trying to contact customer service via email without any response for the past 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, I am unable to reach them by phone efficiently due to the charges from my Tracfone. I am in urgent need of canceling my insurance, but I require a notice from the RMV. I am reaching out here for assistance. Thank you, [redacted].

Dear Forum Members, I am seeking advice regarding a motorcycle that was sold to a Massachusetts resident from New Hampshire, which does not require a title for vehicles over 20 years old. The bike was previously owned in Maine, where titles are also not needed for vehicles of that age. The new owner in Massachusetts is facing challenges registering it as they are being asked for a title. The last four owners did not obtain a title due to the regulations in NH and Maine. We are unsure about the next steps needed for registration in Massachusetts. The VIN of the motorcycle is 1HFSC1414HA303674, last registered in NH in [redacted] to David R Leclair (deceased). The last title was issued in Maine to Perry E Smith in [redacted]. I, Sherry DeCato, am the executor of David Leclair's estate and would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed in this situation. Thank you, Sherry DeCato

I am trying to cancel the registration for my late husband, but I have been unsuccessful online. Each time I attempt to cancel, I receive an error stating "no active plate found," despite the plate being verified as active by my insurance company. The vehicle has been sold to a dealer in NH by my son, who is the personal representative of the estate. The RMV refuses to schedule an appointment for registration cancellation and insists it must be done online. Can someone guide me on the next steps to take in this situation?

My license was suspended, and I paid all the necessary fees to get it restored in Connecticut. Now, I'm trying to pay the $[redacted] reinstatement fee in Massachusetts. When I try to pay online, it states I need to pay $[redacted], but when I attempt to proceed, it shows I don't owe anything and won't let me continue. I need assistance with this issue.

Good morning, I am currently attempting to transfer my licenses from New Hampshire to Massachusetts and update my address, but I have encountered an issue. I was informed that I am suspended in the National System from Massachusetts. I was advised by a hearing officer from Massachusetts to first resolve the suspension in New Hampshire before Massachusetts can proceed with any actions. This back-and-forth process is confusing for me, and I am feeling lost. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Savuth

I have a lien release letter from Toyota Financial Services and I need a new title because I can't find the old one, if it ever existed. The title would be in the name of J. Louise Magaldi. I need the new title to sell the car as the buyer is waiting for it. What forms do I need to mail to the RMV to get a clear title? This is urgent as J. Louise suffered a major stroke and is unable to speak or walk. I have durable power of attorney. Please advise. Thank you.

I have encountered an issue with the title to my car being sent to my previous address in Salem, Massachusetts twice, and then returned to the post office. I relocated to Maine in August [redacted] and updated my address accordingly. Despite applying for a replacement title online on two occasions a few months ago, I have not received any updates. I require the title to proceed with purchasing a new vehicle. I have attempted to seek assistance via email as well. I understand that processes may be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. On May 18, [redacted], I paid $50 for a license renewal with confirmation number 1-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]. Despite successfully processing the renewal online and extending the expiration to June [redacted] on myrmv.com, I have not received the renewed license at my address, 20 Deer Path, Unit 6, Maynard, MA [redacted]. While my online status indicates the extension, I still need the physical copy for official purposes to avoid potential penalties for not carrying a valid license. Could you please assist me in obtaining a copy of the license I have already paid for but never received due to COVID delays? My current license expires in October [redacted], and the confirmation number should serve as proof of payment. Thank you. -Graham Ross Radetsky

I am having trouble contacting the local registry of motor vehicles by phone using the [redacted] number provided. I am unable to confirm my appointment online as the options are limited to making or canceling appointments only. It would be helpful if an alternative method, like providing a code to our auto insurance company, could assist in checking our upcoming appointments. I am uncertain about the registration cost for my husband's second vehicle since my Liberty Mutual agent in Florida cannot reach the local Leominster RMV. If we travel from Athol to Leominster and there are issues with our appointment or paperwork, I will reach out to my state representative. Accessibility to the RMV has been a problem even before COVID-19, so I do not attribute it solely to the pandemic. It is important to consider those without computer access or with poor signal strength. Dependence on computers raises concerns about potential issues during a major blackout when computer reliance would not be beneficial.

I would like to speak with a customer service representative regarding the letters that have been repeatedly sent to me. I am becoming frustrated with the letters as I have already completed the necessary class in person. However, I was not issued a certificate upon completion. It is concerning that my license may be suspended for a class I have already taken prior to relocating. If this matter is not resolved, I will escalate it to the corporate office and push for action to be taken against your company. Please cease sending these letters as they are perceived as harassment. Continuing to do so may jeopardize the future of your business. Please take this matter seriously before further action is necessary.
