At the beginning of this month, I renewed my registration. During a recent visit to the RMV, I learned that my current registration expires at the end of January [redacted], so I decided to renew it. However, I realized today that my inspection sticker is only valid until December 31. Unfortunately, I can't find a copy of my current registration, which was in effect before I renewed it. I'm unsure if I can proceed with my car inspection using the upcoming end-of-January registration or if I need to return to the RMV to obtain a copy of the current registration valid through January [redacted].

I obtained my first driver's license in Franklin, MA when I was 16 years old. Upon moving to Utah for college, I successfully obtained a Utah driver's license. However, when attempting to transfer my Utah license to California, I was informed of an issue preventing the transfer due to my previous MA license. Despite residing in MA, I never received any tickets or notices from the RMV. Unfortunately, I lack any documents containing my old MA license number and no longer possess the physical card. This lack of information hinders my ability to address the problem. Any assistance on how to resolve this matter would be greatly valued.

I recently purchased a car from a dealer, and there's been an issue with the odometer reading on the title. The dealership has already taken steps to correct it by sending the title to the RMV for adjustment. However, there was a delay because we were asked to provide a notarized affidavit from JP Morgan Chase Bank, and we are currently waiting for this to be processed. I haven't been able to use the car I bought for over 6 weeks due to this issue. I recently relocated from MA to NY and need to obtain a NY license. I was informed that NY requires a driving record that is at least 6 months old, and my renewed MA license from Sept [redacted] is not sufficient. To comply, I need to request my driving history abstract from MA. However, the options available on the website are unclear. I can choose from Public Driving Record - True and Attested, Public Driving Record - Unattested, Personal Driving History, or Certified Driving History. Even the customer service agents I spoke with were unsure which one is suitable for NY. Although one suggested the Certified Driving History, I am hesitant to proceed without certainty to avoid a $20 error. Kindly advise me on the appropriate record to prove my MA driving history for the past 6 months as I resided in MA for the last 11 years. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty obtaining a copy of my vehicle title.
My car was originally titled in Massachusetts in [redacted] when I moved to Belmont, MA. Subsequently, in [redacted], I relocated to Texas and unfortunately lost the title during the move. I registered the car in Texas but did not transfer the title. Now, I need the title to sell the car. However, I encountered an issue as your online systems do not display a record of my title, preventing me from requesting a duplicate online. I have submitted a duplicate title request form via mail, which you should have received today. I am concerned that no action will be taken due to my title not being visible in your systems. I simply want to ensure I am taking the correct steps.

I recently received a letter from the National Safety Council stating that the Mass RMV had contacted me regarding the Mass Drivers Retraining Program, but I never received any mail from the Mass RMV. I contacted the National Safety Council to inquire about this situation, and they informed me that I should have received notification from the RMV concerning my offenses. After being unable to reach anyone by telephone for 40 minutes, I checked my unread mail online and discovered that I have three offenses recorded, even though I believe I only have two. I recall having a collision offense in 08/[redacted] and a marked lane violation in 12/[redacted], however, I am positive that the second collision offense in 12/[redacted] did not occur. I have attempted to rectify this by calling the RMV multiple times and have been kept on hold for extended periods, which has been frustrating. I am concerned about the possibility of my license being suspended if I do not complete the retraining program based on this incorrect information. I will continue to pursue this matter through further communication and am experiencing difficulty connecting with a representative.

The AAA branch in Burlington added my information for a real ID license, but they couldn't print it. They advised me to go to the RMV. I would like to know if there is any additional information needed. My current license number is S[redacted]8, expiring on May 8. I have tried calling the RMV at [redacted], but no one answers. The issue remains unresolved, and it was incorrectly marked as fixed. The provided phone number doesn't offer assistance, leading to a frustrating experience with a taxpayer-supported agency.

Two weeks ago, on June 11, I registered and requested a new title for a used car I purchased for my son to use. I have not received the title yet, and when I checked online, it shows the status as "Ready to Print." The VIN number associated with this is JF1GH63639H826503, and the current registration number is 1CBA75.
I need to transfer the car into my son's name for insurance purposes, as he has secured insurance separately. However, we are unable to complete the transfer and registration without the title. Can we go to a registry and transfer the title and register the car without the physical title in hand? Perhaps the registry already has the title on file.
Our original plan was to add him to our insurance when he moves in at the end of June, but our insurance provider will not add him due to his driving record. We have managed to get insurance for him and now need to proceed with transferring the car into his name.

I am gathering information for a client. Their license was suspended in Massachusetts 5 years ago. During this time, they relocated to Tennessee. The client plans to return to Massachusetts in August to complete their final class before the license can be renewed. After completing the class and settling all fees, they are unsure if they can go directly to Tennessee to renew the license, or if they must first renew it in Massachusetts before transferring it to Tennessee.
They are also wondering if they can obtain a written confirmation of completion after the class to handle the renewal process while still in Massachusetts, or if they must wait for the system to update.
Additionally, considering the length of the suspension, they are curious if they will be required to retake the driving and permit tests in Massachusetts.

I am writing to address some challenges I faced while trying to renew my Class D license. To prove my lawful presence in the U.S.A., I provided my citizenship certificate as I was not born here. Last year, I stored my car at my mother's house while I was out of state. Upon returning, I discovered that my registration had lapsed and is now "cancelled." I went to apply for a replacement title, and was informed about a lien from Santander Bank, which puzzled me as I had settled my [redacted] vehicle loan before Santander offered auto loans. After contacting Santander and even visiting their office, they couldn't find any record of a car loan. I have an email from Santander confirming this. Without a Lien Release, do you think a printed copy of the email from Santander would suffice?

I attempted to renew the registration for a light trailer with plate number [redacted] but encountered a notification stating that it did not qualify for online renewal. The transaction was subsequently canceled. The reason for this disqualification is unclear.

I purchased a new copy of my license over two months ago. Unfortunately, I have not received it yet. I am unable to contact anyone at the DMV, and due to my severe disability, I cannot make the trip there either. The paper copy can't be used for identification once it's expired, which happened on October 6th. I am hoping the actual copy can be delivered to my home. My name is M. S. My grandson, Darvensly Esperance, had scheduled a road test appointment for October 11 at the Braintree Registry. However, when we arrived in Plymouth on October 17 at 10:00, they informed us that the appointment was on October 16 at 9:00, which was a conflict with his school schedule in Boston. The officer mentioned a confirmation sent to my PO Box in Scituate, which we did not receive either by mail, email, or phone. I strongly believe this was an error on the registry's part, and Darvensly should not be penalized for missing the appointment. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. For the past two years, I have been attempting to obtain my Massachusetts state ID without success. Every time I visit the RMV, I am given a new SAVE case letter. I initially arrived on an F1 visa but my status has since changed to H4.
On 7/23/[redacted], during my latest attempt to get my state ID, I was asked for additional proof of lawful presence despite presenting my H4 document. It has now been four months since then, and I have not received any updates from the RMV. When I checked the SAVE case status on the USCIS website, it displayed "case is returned to agency." The RMV advised me to wait until I receive a letter from the USCIS, which has not happened yet.
I urgently need my state ID to apply for a driver's license as I have been reliant on my husband for transportation for two years. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
