Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (DMV/RMV) Customer Service Issues

I am writing on behalf of my 49-year old son, David Peter Crocker, who has been struggling with chronic fatigue syndrome for over 25 years. His Maryland driver's license number is C-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted], which expired on his birthday, 4-18-[redacted]. Due to the ongoing health concerns related to Covid-19, the MVA initially allowed extensions for license renewals, but recently set an expiration deadline of August 15, [redacted]. My son, facing health challenges, was unaware of this deadline until yesterday, August 31, when a neighbor informed him. Given his compromised immune system, renewing his license in person poses a significant risk to his health. I kindly request the MVA to consider his situation, allow him to renew online despite missing the August 15 deadline, and revise the policy for others facing similar health issues. I urge flexibility in this matter to prevent any harm to individuals like my son during these challenging times.

Our Maryland [redacted] tax refund is being delayed due to an issue with the MVA claiming lack of insurance for our [redacted] Morrisa Minor (MAT5DL[redacted]) in December [redacted]. We have maintained continuous coverage and even had our insurer electronically send an FR-19 to the MVA to confirm this. Our case number is [redacted]0, and when checking the MVA automated phone system, it confirms our compliance. However, a different line claims they haven't received the FR-19. Our insurance agent Kimberly Park from Hagerty also sent a certified copy of the form on 08/13/[redacted]. We seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly to receive our rightful tax refund.
