My previous MagicJack Plus stopped working today. I switched to a backup I bought a while back but never registered. It provides a dial tone, but when I call my old number, [redacted], it goes straight to MagicJack voicemail without ringing. I have ordered a MagicJack Express but need to keep receiving calls until it arrives. Could you help me make this number ring on the new MagicJack Plus? I intend to use this number when I register the MagicJack Express.

My MagicJack is not working properly, even though it appears to be connected. When I try to dial a number, it just counts down the seconds without connecting. I received this error message: "component 'QUERY_DEVICEINFO_VSERIAL' must be declared (oracle_magicjack:live)." I have to unplug and restart the device each time this happens, which is inconvenient every time I need to make a call.

My MagicJack is experiencing connectivity issues. Despite showing it's connected, when I try to dial a number, it just counts down without connecting. This morning, I received the message: "component 'QUERY_DEVICEINFO_VSERIAL' must be declared (oracle_magicjack:live)." I have to unplug and restart the device to resolve the problem each time I need to make a call, which is quite inconvenient.

On March 26, I purchased a magicJack Pre-Paid Credit for $12.95. Despite attempting to call Eritrea, the credit did not work. I then tried to call Ethiopia, only to find it also did not work for me. I had no trouble calling using other phone cards. I ultimately resorted to buying a phone card at a store to make my intended call successfully. The next day, March 27, I contacted customer service, and regrettably, the representative's behavior was disrespectful. The representative, who claimed his name was Alan, was unprofessional and used inappropriate language. I would like a refund for the prepaid credit. Please address this issue promptly to avoid further escalation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

MagicJack is continuously setting my phone to the wrong time because it defaults to the wrong time zone. I am located in Florida on EST, not Texas time. For example, when it's 1:35 PM in Orlando, FL, MagicJack incorrectly sets the time back by an hour to 12:35 PM. This is not a phone issue but a MagicJack problem affecting many customers. My Vtech Phone Company explains that VOIP services like MagicJack may have time zone errors, but the solution lies in having the service provider correct the time zone for the area. It's frustrating that despite such a large customer base, MagicJack defaults everyone to Texas time. If this issue persists, I'm considering switching to a different VOIP provider that can accurately set the time for my time zone.

I am facing an issue with MagicJack where my phone's time keeps defaulting to the wrong time zone. Despite being in Florida on EST, it sets to Texas time, leading to a difference of an hour occasionally. This seems to be a widespread MagicJack problem affecting users, with the time zone issue common for VOIP services like MagicJack. Even though my phone provider, Vtech, suggests the Caller ID service should set the time correctly, it's evident that the problem lies with MagicJack's default settings. I find it frustrating that MagicJack assumes all customers are in Texas rather than recognizing diverse time zones. If this persistent problem is not resolved, I may have to switch to a different Voice-over-IP provider that can accurately adjust to my time zone.

I am experiencing time zone issues with my MagicJack service. Despite being in Florida on Eastern Standard Time, MagicJack consistently defaults to the incorrect time zone, like Texas time. For instance, when it is 1:35 PM in Orlando, FL, MagicJack sets the time back by an hour to 12:35 PM. With such a large customer base, it is frustrating that everyone is defaulted to a Texas time zone. This issue is specific to MagicJack and not my phone.
Vtech Phone Company suggests that the incorrect time issue is common with VOIP services like MagicJack, and it emphasizes that the service provider should adjust the time zone for accurate Caller ID information. It is important for MagicJack to recognize that not all customers are located in Texas.
If this problem persists, I may have to explore switching to a different Voice-over-IP provider that can accurately display the correct time for my time zone.

I am experiencing an issue with MagicJack where the phone is consistently showing the wrong time due to defaulting to the incorrect time zone, which is affecting my location in Florida. Despite being on Eastern Standard Time, the device is reverting back an hour as if I were in Texas. This discrepancy is a MagicJack problem rather than a phone issue.
Vtech Phone Company has indicated that this time change problem is common with VOIP services like MagicJack, and suggests contacting the phone service provider to adjust the time zone settings for accurate Caller ID information. While I appreciate the suggestion, I am perplexed as to why MagicJack is defaulting to a Texas time zone for all users, overlooking the diverse locations of its customer base.
If this ongoing time zone issue cannot be resolved, I might need to consider switching from MagicJack to an alternative Voice-over-IP provider that can accurately display the correct time for my area.

I am encountering some difficulty with my MagicJack account. On the magicjack.com website, I couldn't find any information relating to my MagicJack Go device, which I have the MAC address for on my modem. It seems like my account, including my phone number, has been deleted. Reviewing my bank statements, I noticed I purchased a year of MJ in November [redacted], and I also had to buy MagicFeatures again. Feeling frustrated, I intend to request a full refund from my bank. This situation has become very burdensome. Back when I was a money-saving student 5 years ago, I initially signed up, and frustrations remain. During a recent support call, the representative tried to convince me to purchase a 5-year plan when all I needed was to update my email address due to Microsoft's switch from live.com to outlook. Since I couldn't access my email for password resets and then saw my account disappear because I was using MJ GO instead of my older MJ devices, including two others, I found the service inadequate. My intention is for my bank to reach out to you regarding all the funds I've spent from November onwards.

Hardware Setup Assistance
I have a "Linksys Phone Adapter with Router" Model #SPA2102-381R, Serial #FM500L720, connected to my router using a CAT 5E cable. I have connected the Magic Jack internet cable to the internet socket and plugged the teleline into tel #1 receptacle on the Adapter. However, Linksys #1 is not functioning properly with this setup. I have been unsuccessful in finding a replacement Adapter that meets my requirements. I have noticed that new Adapters in stores, like Best Buy, only have CAT or USB connections, which do not align with my phone base #1 connection needs. I am wondering if Magic Jack offers an adapter with tele as USB connections or any other solution to resolve this issue.

I seem to have misplaced the instructions on how to activate my Magic Jack for another 5-year term after the first year expires in about 60 days. My Magic Jack phone number is [redacted]. I've already paid for the renewal. If needed, please reach out to me at 1-[redacted]. Could you assist in checking my account to enable the activation without an additional charge? Thank you.

I have been a Magic Jack customer for several years. I live on the Caribbean island of Dominica, not the Dominican Republic. Our country was hit by Hurricane Maria, a category 5 storm on Sept 18, [redacted]. Since then, my village, like most of the country, has been without internet service provided by Cable & Wireless. While I renewed my service in August [redacted], just before the storm, I have been unable to use it due to the circumstances. My service is due for renewal in about 30 days. I kindly request that Magic Jack provide me with credit for the 11 months of unused service or offer a significant discount for renewal. This will allow me to keep my number with the hope that internet service will be restored within the next 6 months. Without any accommodation, I will let my service expire. Thank you. ~ Wini D.

Yesterday, during my first call, the representative mentioned that my landline number could be transferred to my Magic Jack and suggested buying it from Walmart or Best Buy. However, I later inquired about my security system which uses Wi-Fi for monitoring. Initially, a representative said it wouldn't work, but after some thought, I realized it should. I've been trying to create an account on the Magic Jack website for the past few hours, but each time I tried, it said my password needed to be between 6 to 20 characters, even though I entered 10 characters. When I spoke to a live agent (Gilberto F.) about this issue, they disconnected the call abruptly.

After switching service providers, my MJ Plus is no longer functioning. Upon contacting customer support, I was informed that my phone number service had not been renewed, although I have proof of renewal on Feb. 4, [redacted] for the standard 1-year plan. The representative mentioned that the phone number service is only available in 3 or 5-year plans, which I have never paid for. I regularly renew the 1-year plan for MJ Plus ($39.00) and the Canadian Number Subscription ($10.00), and up until changing service providers, everything was working as expected. This situation is confusing, and I require assistance to resolve this issue.

I have an older MagicJack with a USB plug-in, which I have been using for about 8 years. I purchased a 5-year extension in [redacted], so it is still in service. I plug it into the USB ports on the back of my Dell computer, which was updated to Windows 10 a couple of years ago. Recently, in the MagicJack window under my phone number, I am receiving a message saying "No Audio found!" I can make and receive calls, but there's no sound on outgoing or incoming calls. I have tried all troubleshooting recommendations such as device verification, volume checks, and computer reboots. When I adjust the volume in the MagicJack menu, it always resets to zero, which I suspect may be causing the issue. Windows system information indicates the phone is operational, but something must have changed. How can I fix the audio issue with my MagicJack?

I renewed one of my 2 Magic Jack numbers yesterday but had trouble renewing the second one. I called Magic Jack to clarify, provided the Order Number TS[redacted]8, and confirmed the two numbers: [redacted] and [redacted]. However, I received an email this morning stating I needed to renew one of them. I ended up paying for two additional years because of a misunderstanding with the representative, even though I didn't really need it. The Order Number for the extra transaction is TS[redacted]0.

I recently purchased mjkg0, but the service was denied as they are not accepting new startups. I have used your service before and would like to use it again. You advertise MJ at $39 plus tax for one year of free service, which I am interested in. My MagicJack telephone number is [redacted]. I would like to resolve this issue to make long-distance calls to Virginia as advertised. I am an 88-year-old retired American doing volunteer work with Jehovah's Witnesses in Colombia, wishing to stay in touch with my friends and family in the U.S. I paid $39 plus tax, but now they are asking for an additional $[redacted], contrary to the promised one year of free service. Can you assist me with this matter?
Sincerely,

I am experiencing the same issue for two months now. Although your inquiry asks if the problem is resolved, the answer is NO. Each time I reply, I receive no response from MagicJack. I am considering discontinuing the service. Kindly reach out to me, Virginia Barkulis, at [redacted], or preferably via phone at [redacted]. This matter needs to be resolved tomorrow; otherwise, I may have to end my service. I have found the service helpful, but I am unable to complete calls as I get disconnected. I urgently require assistance and hope to speak with someone tomorrow. I have already spent 8 hours on internet chat with no resolution. Kindly assist me in continuing as a MagicJack customer. Thank you. - Virginia Barkulis

I have concerns about the charge for [redacted] service on my bill that I do not need or will use. They are threatening to take action if I do not pay. One of your representatives, Veronica, informed me that I am not obligated to pay it. How can I confirm her information? I require a prompt response. Thank you.

My MagicJack subscription is active until [redacted], but the device suddenly stopped working. I decided to purchase a new one. Unfortunately, the new device only functions when connected directly to my laptop, which is not the setup I prefer. Despite attempts to seek help from tech support, I faced challenges. On some occasions, the support team placed me on hold indefinitely or disconnected our chat session. I believe the replacement MagicJack may be faulty since it does not work as my old one did. With no resolution in sight, I am contemplating returning the product. It is disappointing that I am unable to utilize the paid subscription, and I hope for a refund of the unused portion.
