Dear Customer Service, I recently created a new email account, [redacted] I used this email on our wedding invitations for guests to RSVP. However, I am currently unable to access this account. I am available to provide any additional information required. Thank you.

I've been using my Hotmail account as my PlayStation ID for more than a decade. I logged out of my PlayStation 4 while attempting to reset my email user but don't remember the password for my old email. This email is linked to my credit and debit cards with updated information. I'm struggling with the recovery process due to the age of the account and not recalling the email contents. I need assistance recovering the password to avoid losing my PlayStation purchases. My name is Emanuel Alana, born on April 7, [redacted], in Manhattan, NY (ZIP: [redacted]). I briefly used an Xbox account for Halo 2. My multiple Visa Chase credit cards and debit card are associated with this email but are not viable for recovery. I currently reside at [redacted] River Rd, New Milford, NJ (ZIP: [redacted]).

I am the webmaster for a small UK-based group of retired police officers. We have a website with the capability to send email bulletins to over [redacted] members. Lately, we've been receiving unsubscribe notifications from members who claim they did not request this action and did not click on the unsubscribe button. It's worth noting that all these unsubscribe requests are coming from Hotmail accounts. In line with our procedures, any complaints we receive about our service are escalated to our management team for review. Could you please explain why these unsubscribes are being triggered without the members' consent? Thank you, Paul Bryant (webmaster www.narpocardiff.com)

This morning, I encountered issues logging into both of my email accounts: [redacted] and [redacted] Hotmail stated that someone else might be using them. I attempted to access the lubrianash account via the recovery form but was unsuccessful due to not recalling certain account details. Regarding the michellevinall account, vital for my work, I received a login code on my phone. However, each time I try to login, I receive a message indicating the completion of a security info change requested on 13/04/[redacted] on 13/05/[redacted], preventing further access. Despite submitting a recovery form for this account, I have been unable to regain entry. Can anyone assist me in recovering access to my accounts?

Hello, My email is [redacted] I recently had to reset my email password and now I can't access my emails on my computer but can on my phone. I'm currently in Malaysia traveling, trying to print items from my email at a local computer shop. However, I'm unable to proceed because I need a code sent to my old number and email, which I no longer have access to. I'm frustrated by the security questions login process, as I could only answer one question instead of the three initially set up when joining hotmail.com. The questions about my last received and sent emails are unhelpful. Requesting recent emails like "Australian Visa" wasn't accepted as valid information, which is essential for me at the moment. I urgently need to access documents for my Australian visa, but I'm stuck in this frustrating situation. Please expedite updating my security details with my new number. Thank you.

I need help recovering access to an email I lost a few years ago. The phone number linked to the account is no longer active, making it challenging to regain entry. I have important online accounts connected to this email that I need to update settings for, but I can't do so without access to the email. Since I created the account as a teenager, I'm struggling to recall all the necessary information. Contacting customer service only leads to being directed back online, causing frustration. All I want is to regain access to my account; there's nothing valuable to anyone else, as I didn't possess a cell phone or bank account when I initially created the email. Assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I contacted Outlook technical support via email, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response yet. My Hotmail account is not receiving the verification code needed to verify my email. The last time I received a verification code was on February 26, [redacted], and I haven't received any since then, which has been about two months. I am unable to receive the verification code at [redacted] Currently, I haven't received any assistance from Outlook or Hotmail customer support regarding this issue. I hope to hear back soon. Thank you.

I recently received an email that appeared to originate from my own Hotmail account, which I did not send, and it was automatically filtered to my Junk Mail folder. The content was offensive, leading me to believe that someone else was trying to contact me. When I attempted to block the sender, I discovered that I cannot block myself. This raised concerns that my account may have been compromised, so I ran an antivirus scan and changed my password today from my work computer. Could you please investigate if my account has been hacked? You can reach me at my email below to confirm. Thank you, Mike H.

My Hotmail account seems to have been hacked after nearly 20 years of use. I'm struggling to provide the security information needed to regain access. I can't remember if I used my maiden name Asmus or my married name Birt when I opened the account, or if I used my nickname Kari or my real name Karoline. I mainly emailed myself at [redacted], sending documents for job applications. The only recent emails I remember sending were to [redacted] and a few years back to [redacted] and [redacted] I'm not sure about the addresses I used when I opened the account in Omaha, and I've never changed my password from "inyourbutt1." I've tried various combinations to verify my identity but haven't had any luck. Please assist me in accessing my account promptly as it is crucial for my job search.

Hello, I recently signed up for a Hotmail account and have been experiencing numerous issues. I am currently unable to access my emails, and I am eagerly awaiting some very important ones. I recently discovered that my tablet has a VPN protector, which I suspect may be causing the major problems. Since the beginning, I have been frequently changing passwords as they were not working, leading me to believe my account is fake. However, I assure you it is genuine and I urgently need access to this email account. All attempts at recovery have been unsuccessful, and it has been almost two weeks now with no resolution. I am expecting a message from Gem MasterCard, but I have not received any emails. I am willing to provide all necessary details to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you.

I have been using a Hotmail account for a while, [redacted] Initially, I accessed it mainly from an Apple laptop. However, when I tried to log in from my work laptop, I received an error message stating my account was being accessed from another device. I attempted to recover the account but failed to provide correct answers. It seems that the issue might be related to the payment card used for my Skype account or other security questions I cannot recall. Unfortunately, I am now unable to access my account even from the original device. I urgently need help as there are critical emails stored in this account. For assistance with this urgent matter, please contact me at my backup email: [redacted] or [redacted]. My name is Ehsan.

I'm having trouble logging into my account due to reported unusual activity. To restore access, the system prompts me to sign in to an old email I haven't used in years for a security code. However, when I attempted this, it also restricted my access to that email. I've tried using the online recovery form provided by the automated system, but it rejected me, claiming it couldn't obtain sufficient information. It's requesting details like recent emails sent by me and email subjects, which I struggle to recall as I mainly receive emails and can't access my email to verify this. This situation is frustrating, as there seems to be no valid reason for blocking me from an account I've maintained for years.

Dear Forum Members: I recently received an unsettling email from an individual claiming to be a hacker. The message includes threats regarding possible access to my operating system and personal information. The email insists on a bitcoin payment to prevent the release of compromising videos. I want to warn others about this scam. Please be cautious if you receive a similar message. Thank you for any advice you can offer. Best, Elisabeth

I am currently in Germany, visiting from Canada. I am having trouble activating my new phone card as I can't access my Hotmail account due to forgetting the subject lines of some recent emails. I've been trying to activate the phone card for two days now that I bought from Lidl.de. Although I managed to register the card, I can't receive the final message from the phone company because my email address, [redacted], has been blocked. I also once mistakenly entered the wrong password. It's frustrating because I can't reach my family to let them know I arrived safely. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Karen H.

I am having trouble accessing my Hotmail account. When I try to log in, it sends the security code to my mother's email, which I cannot access. Can it please send the code to my Gmail instead? However, when I try to verify my Gmail, it fails every time except once. When my Gmail was verified, I could briefly access my Hotmail, but the problem persisted. This is affecting my ability to use services like Amazon.

I am facing difficulty signing into my hotmail account ([redacted]) after forgetting the password. I changed it as a precaution since I lost my phone, but now I can't access the reset verification code as I no longer have the phone linked to my account. I tried the security questions for recovery, but due to repeated attempts, it's currently blocked. My hotmail account is crucial as an international student in Melbourne, Australia, especially for my visa documentation and other important emails. I urgently need assistance with resetting the password or recovery to continue my visa extension work for my studies. Your prompt help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.

My email has been hacked. I have not changed my password for about a year. I've tried to recover it by providing recent email details to my sister, boyfriend, and friends, as they have received my emails in the last 3 to 4 months. Most of the emails are job applications, not personal ones. I've gone through this process twice and it's correct, but I still can't log in. It's the second time this has happened; the first time I lost an account I had for 12 years for the same reason. This current account is 5 to 6 years old, with important emails in a folder that I cannot lose. Please assist urgently. Although my password is the same, I believe it has been hacked since it says someone else is using it. I have the correct information, so I'm unsure why Hotmail won't allow me access to change it. Your help is appreciated.

I encounter this issue when sending emails. I am receiving a message stating that east.smtp.mx.exch023.serverdata.net rejected my email to [redacted] The reason for this rejection is that the email address might be misspelled or simply does not exist. To resolve this, I need to try the following steps: 1. Send the email again after double-checking and retyping the email address. Avoid using the suggested address from the email program. 2. Clear the recipient AutoComplete cache by referring to the steps outlined in the article for Status code 5.1.1. Then, resend the email after deleting and retyping the address. 3. Verify the recipient's email address through a different contact method, such as a phone call, to ensure accuracy. Additionally, inquire if there might be any email forwarding rules that could be causing the issue.

To whom it may concern, I have made several attempts to access an old Hotmail email account that I urgently need as it is linked to various apps and data, such as my Apple ID code. Despite having the correct usernames and passcodes for the associated accounts, I have not needed to reset the email address before and am now stuck as I require a code that is sent to this Hotmail account in order to update the information. I have tried the automated service multiple times without success. Can you please investigate this issue and suggest alternative methods to regain access to my email address? I have provided my password and secret answers, but they do not seem to match, even though they should be the correct answers (e.g., first car - with only one possible answer). The most recent account recovery code is as follows: [redacted]00. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Regards,
