On December 15th, I departed from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Munich with Lufthansa (Airline Confirmation number: 4DI5VB). Unfortunately, my connecting flight from Munich to Turin was canceled. Despite the lack of communication at the airport, I managed to secure a new flight on Friday, December 16th, arriving in Turin without my luggage. I had paid extra for both luggage and seat selections. This mishap disrupted my plans to visit Venice and Rome. Even upon returning to Los Angeles, my luggage is still missing. I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience and the impact on my vacation. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello, my name is Serge Markovic, and my FB ID is [redacted]4.
I contacted you nearly a month ago, on 12/15/[redacted], but I have not received a response from you.
I want to bring to your attention that although my own compensation claim was denied, my spouse, Carolyne Bourgeault, who was traveling with me on the same flights, received immediate compensation of [redacted].00 EUR from Frau Shweta Lagun on 11/28/[redacted], along with an apology for the flight delay. Her Feedback # is FB ID [redacted]3.
It does not make sense for one passenger to be compensated while another is not.
I have followed the proper procedure, filed a complaint, and this is my second time reaching out to you with evidence that you have compensated other passengers on the same flight but not me.
I have also contacted Frau Sabine Wilhelmi, Administrative Assistant at the Schlichtungsstelle für den öffentlichen Personenverkehr, to address this issue.
I am deeply disappointed with Lufthansa's lack of response, especially since other passengers in similar situations have been compensated, and it has been over three months since my flight.

Good afternoon,
I am extremely disappointed with Lufthansa and the telephone staff. I flew to Abu Dhabi on December 14, [redacted], and upon arriving in Munich, I missed my connecting flight. This information was not communicated to me during the flight, and although I caught another delayed flight to Dubai, my bag was damaged. Thankfully, the bag issue has been resolved. However, on my return journey on December 31, [redacted], my bag did not arrive, and even after 17 days, there is no trace of it. Despite calling daily, I am only told it can't be located. This situation is incredibly frustrating. I have requested for the matter to be escalated, but nothing has been done, only encountering unhelpful and insensitive responses. Dealing with depression, this ordeal is exacerbating my condition. I am not seeking compensation, only the return of my bag. It seems unreasonable that it is still missing after so long. My PIR report number is BHXLH312284. My name is Karen Ibrahim. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly.

On LUFTHANSA flight LH [redacted] on 10 JAN, I was seated in 001K in Business Class. I was asked to move to seat 006K to accommodate a family wanting to sit together. Unfortunately, the electronic services were not working at my new seat, impacting my Business Class experience. The staff were unable to resolve the error displayed on the handset despite their efforts. The stewardess acknowledged the known issue at this seat and suggested I email for compensation. I have reached out through several channels but have not received a response.

On my recent Lufthansa flight, I had booked Business Class seat 001K but was asked to switch to seat 006K to accommodate a family. Unfortunately, at the new seat, there was an error with the electronic services, impacting my Business Class experience. The staff attempted to fix the issue, but it remained unresolved. The flight attendant acknowledged the problem, stating it had already been reported. She apologized and advised me to email for compensation due to the service disruption.

Hello,
I have received my feedback regarding Lufthansa, FB ID [redacted]7. I was emailed by [redacted] In the email dated January 17, [redacted], they mentioned making a transfer to my bank account, but I have not seen this transfer reflected in my account. I am unsure about the next steps to take regarding this issue.
Best regards,

Hello,
I submitted two cases to Lufthansa regarding flight delays on December 19, [redacted], and December 30. The first delay caused us to miss our connecting flight from FRA to SFO, resulting in a day lost in San Francisco. A second delay on our return from SFO to MUC caused us to miss our connecting flight to BLL, resulting in a total delay of over 6 hours. Lufthansa offered compensation of [redacted] EUR for the second incident. I provided my bank details to receive the payment, but I received responses to the first Feedback ID saying we were not eligible for compensation due to bad weather, despite the first feedback being about the return flight delay. I am confused by the conflicting responses and wonder if there is a misunderstanding in the compensation rules. After these troublesome travels, I believe compensation should be provided. Thank you.
Best regards,
Peter Juel-Jespersen

Dear Community Members,
I hope you are all doing well. I need some advice regarding a recent travel booking issue. My upcoming trip in May involved flying into Frankfurt and continuing on to visit Greece and Italy, but there was an oversight in booking the return flight from Frankfurt to Canada. Although I was charged for the entire journey, only a one-way ticket was booked. I have rearranged my plans to return from Rome instead. Consequently, I have two Lufthansa tickets from Florence to Frankfurt that I cannot use. I am aware that these tickets are non-refundable but I am hoping to receive flight credits from Lufthansa for a future trip. My details are as follows:
Travellers: V.C. Bell and R.M. Bell
Flight: Florence to Frankfurt
Lufthansa [redacted] - 2:40 pm - Wednesday, June 7
Airline confirmation: 3L4H2J
Unfortunately, Expedia, where I made the booking, has been unhelpful in resolving the issue. I regret using their services for my dream vacation. Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time.
Warm regards,
V. Bell

My name is Joe Szalma. I had a flight from Hungary to Barcelona that was delayed over three hours. Upon reaching Frankfurt, I faced an additional five-hour delay. When I finally arrived in Barcelona, my suitcase was missing. I had to buy clothes and medication. I am unable to reach Lufhansa as nobody answers the phone. Ten days later, my suitcase arrived but was severely damaged. I have spent a total of [redacted] euros on expenses and [redacted] euros for my suitcase. According to INTERNATIONAL AVIATION LAW, the company is obligated to pay [redacted] euros for compensation. I have tried contacting them through emails and calls without any response. This will be my final attempt to resolve this before involving my attorney.

Hello, I am writing regarding my missed Lufthansa flight to Munich, Flight Number: LH1707. I am hoping for a refund since the circumstances were beyond my control. I arrived at the airport on time with only my handbag, no checked baggage, but faced significant delays at Sofia Airport's Terminal 2 due to long lines at security with very few employees working. Despite my efforts, I missed the flight as did many others due to the slow processing. The gates were empty and chaotic as passengers who missed flights reacted emotionally. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards.

I experienced a flight cancellation from Frankfort to Tehran and received a compensation offer of [redacted] Euro via email. Unfortunately, when trying to enter my bank information, the page did not accept the router code provided by my bank, CIBC. Despite emailing Lufthansa's Customer Relations three times, I have not been able to resolve this issue as replies seem automated, suggesting the same link for payment. Interestingly, three other passengers managed to receive compensation via cheque by providing their bank information. I have requested this method in my communication with customer service but have not received a response to this specific request. My contact information with Customer Relations is as follows: Feedback ID: [redacted]8, Last Name: G., PIN: [redacted]. I appreciate any assistance in getting this matter resolved without being directed to email Customer Relations again. Thank you.

My flight from Frankfurt to Tehran on October 27, [redacted] was canceled due to technical difficulties, and I was offered [redacted] Euros as compensation, which I received an email about in November. However, when trying to enter my bank information on the provided link to receive the money, it does not accept my details. Despite contacting Lufthansa Customer Relations multiple times and explaining the issue, I am always directed back to the link. I have even reached out to a live representative who advised me to email customer relations, which I have now done four times. I would prefer to receive the compensation via cheque like three of my fellow passengers, as the online method isn't working for me. I am looking for a safe and reliable way to provide my banking information to Lufthansa for this pending compensation. Thank you, Parvin Ghaderikhah.

During my recent call with one of your agents, I was placed on hold multiple times, and unfortunately, the call got disconnected during the last hold. I would appreciate it if you could contact me again. I explained my issue to your agent and was referred to another department for further assistance. My initial request involved the cancellation of my flight from Frankfort to Tehran on October 27, [redacted], due to technical difficulties, for which I was offered a compensation of [redacted] Euros. Lufthansa Customer Relation provided me with the following feedback information: Feedback ID: [redacted]8, Last Name: P.G., PIN: [redacted]. Although I entered my bank details on the provided link to receive the compensation, the system repeatedly prompts me to input the information again. Despite sending three emails to customer relations, expressing my concerns and requesting a cheque instead, I keep receiving apologies for the delay and instructions to use the link. I would like to know if there is an alternative method to securely provide my bank details to Lufthansa and receive the long-pending compensation via cheque, similar to how three other passengers received theirs. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My name is Xugang Yang. On March 3, [redacted], my flight LH [redacted] from Detroit to Frankfurt was canceled after nearly 2 hours of waiting on the plane. This caused issues with my connecting flight LH [redacted] from Frankfurt to Shanghai. Following the cancellation, I had to spend over 6 hours at the airport retrieving my luggage, rebooking my flight, finding a hotel and a taxi late at night, all without any food. This was a truly terrible customer experience. With limited flights back to Shanghai, I had to pay for an extra 2 nights in a hotel, additional transportation and food costs for 2 days, and redo the PCR test, in turn affecting my family and work commitments. Instead of returning home on March 5, I will now arrive on March 7. I am requesting that Lufthansa fully reimburse my additional expenses due to the flight cancellation and provide further compensation for the significant impact on my family and job. I eagerly await your prompt response via email.

I am seeking assistance with regards to traveling with my German Shepherd from Zagreb to Winnipeg, Canada this spring. I am uncertain about the process of taking my 55-57kg dog and the transporter kennel on the same flight to our destination. Unfortunately, my inquiries with the airlines' customer service and cargo departments have not been fruitful. I would like to clarify if it is permissible for my dog and the kennel to be onboard or if I need to engage pet shippers. Furthermore, I am curious about the additional costs involved, and any specific requirements for the layovers in Frankfurt and Toronto. I appreciate any guidance on this matter. Thank you, Anita S.

Dear Support Team,
I am writing to inquire about obtaining a travel certificate for my flights with Lufthansa on February 15. Unfortunately, I was unable to check in online for my flights from Madrid to Frankfurt and then from Frankfurt to Riga. As a result, I do not have my boarding passes anymore, and I need to provide proof of travel to my project organizer. I tried to download my passenger receipt online, but encountered issues.
The flight details are as follows:
- Flight no: LH1115 from Madrid to Frankfurt
- Flight no: LH892 from Frankfurt to Riga
I would greatly appreciate it if you could assist me in obtaining my past boarding passes or a passenger receipt promptly. Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Edgars P.
