Good afternoon,
I have a return flight booked to Berlin via Frankfurt on September 29, [redacted]. I have requested to bring my dog as excess baggage on this flight. Pet Express Transport advised me to speak to a manager for this service. I live in Germany and need to bring my dog with me, so I am hoping you can assist me in booking this. I plan to end the journey in Frankfurt, so it will be a one-way trip only from New York to Frankfurt. I only need my dog on this specific flight. I am open to rebooking if necessary. Please let me know at your earliest convenience as I am eager to return home with my dog, who is fully vaccinated and has all the required health and transport documents. Thank you, Lynne

As a female university student, I hold a Palestinian passport and have obtained a student visa for 7 months to Barcelona, Spain. The visa type is D-Multi, and I will be traveling from Jerusalem to Barcelona with a layover of less than an hour in Frankfurt while flying from Cairo Airport. Can I proceed with these flights without needing a transit visa, as I will not be leaving the plane during the layover? I am currently at the airport on 30/8/[redacted] and urgent clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated as I am unable to find alternative flights at this time.

I am traveling with a group of 20 on a Lufthansa flight to Israel. We usually enjoy flying with Lufthansa, but we are disappointed with the mandatory mask policy, unlike some American airlines. Although we will comply, some passengers are concerned about wearing masks for long flights. Due to this policy, we had to book two others on a United flight instead. United does not have a mask requirement, and 18 passengers said they would have paid more to fly with them. Many Americans see masks as a control measure rather than a health precaution. I urge you to reconsider this policy as it is frustrating for us. Thank you for your understanding.

Regarding Lufthansa booking code MW87FR
Hello Customer Relations,
I am writing to address a dispute I had during my recent flight from Prague to Miami. I believe I was overcharged for my sports equipment bag, which contained a hang glider and weighed 30kg. The charge of CZK [redacted] or $[redacted].98 exceeded what should have been a flat fee according to Lufthansa's policy on sports equipment weighing under 32kg. Despite my attempts to clarify the issue at the check-in counter, I was still charged for the excess weight.
I have reached out to Lufthansa previously on Aug 29, [redacted], around 4pm EST with no resolution. I have provided documentation including credit card statements to demonstrate the difference in charges between this flight and a previous one. I seek assistance in rectifying this billing error and request a refund for the overcharged amount.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello,
We're seeking assistance due to a canceled flight. Our group of three needs to make new travel arrangements. Our booking references are VQJ9RP and VPXADD. The original journey was from Basel to Gothenburg with a layover in Munich. The segment affected is the flight from Munich to Gothenburg. Thankfully, the first leg from Basel to Munich remains unaffected.
Upon engaging the chatbot, the suggested alternative is a Basel flight the next morning (September 2nd). Unfortunately, we have a commitment ending that afternoon. Our proposed solution is to utilize the Basel to Munich flight as planned, stay overnight in a Munich hotel, and catch the Munich to Gothenburg flight the next day (September 3rd). Could you please confirm if this adjustment is feasible?
Thank you for your attention and assistance.
Best regards,
Carlos R.

On Wednesday, August 31st, I contacted Lufthansa regarding my upcoming flights from Pisa to Denver on September 1st. I informed them of my illness and was advised to provide a doctor's certificate for cancellation or flight change. After getting the certificate, I emailed it as requested but did not receive a response. I then reached out to the travel agency through which I booked the flights, who initially said they would assist but later directed me back to Lufthansa. Despite multiple emails and calls, the issue remained unresolved even after my flight had departed. I am worried about the significant cost and frustrated by the lack of resolution. My flight details are as follows:
- Confirmation order: LQOB15
- Booking number: NHLQVP
- Booked on August 5th
- Pisa to Denver on September 1st at 10:15 AM
- Return on September 8th at 5:50 PM
I have kept all the emails sent since August 31st and had purchased cancellation protection. Your help in addressing this urgent matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
A. Paul

Yesterday (September 1, [redacted]), I attempted to re-book my return premium economy flight from Berlin to Washington-Dulles, initially scheduled for October 10, [redacted], under booking code: V5O9LV. I then found a flight for Wednesday, September 7, departing Berlin at 9:45 am, with a layover in Frankfurt am Main, and landing at Washington-Dulles at 4:00 pm. After clicking to confirm the flight, a screen appeared showing a fare $20 lower than my original booking, prompting for credit card details. Upon submission and selecting "accept," I was surprised to discover a Business Class booking at an additional cost of $[redacted]+. I did not intend to book Business Class, only premium economy. I proceeded to cancel the booking, assuming it would revert to my original one, but my return flight was entirely canceled instead. I spoke to Lufthansa's customer service representatives Theodor and Lex, who informed me that I could keep the Business Class booking but would be unable to switch back to premium economy. Despite the website error, I find it unreasonable that Lufthansa won't adjust the booking back to premium economy given my prompt report of the mistake. I hope to receive a refund of the $[redacted] difference for the Business Class booking and revert to my original Premium Economy flight on September 7. Thank you. Jeffrey G. We had a flight scheduled from Amsterdam to Rome on September 19, [redacted], for two adults. Upon receiving the confirmation email, we noticed our middle names had been switched to our last names due to an error made by the first agent we spoke with. After contacting a second agent, we were informed that the names could be corrected as the tickets had not been issued yet. However, we have not received a new confirmation email with the updated names. Our correct names are Elizabeth Rose Reid and Wayne Martin Reid. We are hoping for assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to inform you about my recent experience at Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore, India. I had booked a Lufthansa flight from Bangalore to Glasgow with a layover in Frankfurt. Despite having a UK Residence Permit, I was denied boarding due to the airline staff's insistence on needing a transit visa, which I was not informed about prior to my arrival at the airport. This led to me missing my university induction and incurred additional expenses for a new flight back to Kochi. I am hoping for a resolution regarding a refund for my ticket and compensation for the incurred expenses. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Kristin M.

I have booked tickets from Birmingham to Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Billund for travel on September 13th, returning on September 18th. Originally, the tickets were in the names of Kenny Poole and Lynn Gandy, but we had to pay £75 to change Kenny's name to Kenneth to match his passport. The airline then changed the flight time from Frankfurt to Billund to 17:15, requiring new tickets. I paid £21 for the change and was told the tickets would be emailed to [redacted] However, we only received a confirmation of the flight details without the actual E-TICKETS. After contacting Lufthansa again, Mr. Poole received the same email as before. We urgently need the E-TICKETS for our flight, LH953, with booking code KXLO7I. The original E-TICKET numbers are [redacted][redacted] and [redacted][redacted]. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Lynn Gandy

I have a booking for my husband and myself to fly from Ljubljana to Frankfurt and then to Budapest on September 20 with booking code QCINER. It is an economy class non-refundable ticket. Despite understanding your refund policy, I would like to request a cancellation and refund due to current uncertainties regarding Lufthansa's services and the potential for flight disruptions. The first flight's on-time rate is only 30%, and the second flight is 15%, raising concerns about timely arrival and connecting flights.
I am exploring alternative travel options to ensure a smoother journey. Kindly consider canceling our booking and processing a refund for the ticket price.
Thank you, Susan S.

William L. and Fred B. are traveling on flight #[redacted] departing Munich on 9/15 at 3:55 PM, arriving in Vancouver at 4:45 PM. The request is for bulkhead seating due to their height, as economy class didn't provide enough legroom. Their seat numbers are 21G & 21H. If bulkhead is unavailable, they would like to know the cost of upgrading to business class. They appreciate any assistance considering their budget constraints. Thank you. [Redacted]

My father, Ahmad K., was denied boarding at Vancouver Airport on September 10 when they couldn't read his Arabic vaccination records. The flight details are as follows: Ahmad K., Flight no. [redacted] from YVR to FRA on September 10 at 13:20, Ticket no. [redacted][redacted], PNR: 4YP9LE. He is 88 years old and has diabetes. Subject: Complaint Regarding Recent Lufthansa Travel Experience
Dear Sir/Madam,
Our family, consisting of two adults and three children, recently purchased tickets with Lufthansa for a flight from Strasbourg to Casablanca on July 8 at 11:30 a.m. Unfortunately, upon arriving at Frankfurt airport, we were informed at 3:54 p.m. that our flight LH1330 was canceled. After several hours of waiting, we were provided with hotel accommodation, but were disappointed by the lack of meal options offered. Eventually, we were rerouted through Istanbul and arrived in Casablanca significantly later than planned, without adequate meal service.
As long-time Lufthansa customers, we were deeply disappointed by this experience. Our journey back was also problematic, with minimal meal provisions for ourselves and our children. We kindly request a refund for the inconvenience and discomfort we endured during this trip.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
M. Makoul & A. Mabrou, and children M. Mabrou, Y. Mabrou, and Y. Mabrou

Subject: Frustration with Lufthansa Lost Luggage Incident
Dear Team,
I am deeply disappointed with Lufthansa's handling of my recent flight experience, especially concerning my missing luggage issue. Despite my persistent efforts to track down my belongings and communicate with the airline's staff, I have had no success in resolving this matter.
I traveled on a flight from Edinburgh to Frankfurt on August 7, [redacted], en route to Lagos, Nigeria. Upon arrival in Lagos, one of my checked bags and my 8.8kg hand luggage, which contained valuable items totaling £2,[redacted], were nowhere to be found. The hand luggage was not tagged, a critical oversight that I believe contributed to this unfortunate situation. Despite my attempts to carry it onboard, I was denied.
Since my return to Edinburgh on August 29, I have visited both Frankfurt and Edinburgh airports, filed complaints, and sought assistance to locate my missing luggage, all without success. This ordeal has not only caused significant distress but also marred an important family event, my Father's funeral.
I urge the management of Lufthansa to make every effort to locate and return my missing luggage. As a first-time flyer with the airline, this experience has been disheartening, and I am hesitant to recommend their services to others until this matter is resolved.
Sincerely,
C.O.

Good morning, I must admit that in the last 18 months, traveling with you has not been as simple and accurate as it used to be. I have been flying with your airline for at least 13 years, and I would like to know why, when booking through your app for November with a departure from Naples to Munich, I can't find any flights. I have experienced many issues due to strikes and delays in the last three weeks, so I would appreciate being contacted promptly, especially since I didn't receive any response after waiting for 55 minutes on your Italian phone number. I also want to highlight that you have taken on a refund request for which I kindly ask for an update, as I am a disabled person living with a disability pension. Thank you.

I want to share my experience on my recent flight from Munich to Denver. During the journey, there was an incident where a flight attendant scolded me harshly for having my foot on the seat cushion while tying my shoe. Her tone was stern, repeatedly telling me not to put my dirty boot on the seat. I found her approach unnecessary and felt like I was being reprimanded like a child. This happened on Flight LH [redacted] on September 20, where I was seated in 23C. The flight attendant who addressed me was possibly a supervisor named Susan Meisser. As a result of this experience, I am reconsidering flying with Lufthansa in the future. Thank you for listening to my feedback. - Kim Schurman

Booking codes: JFVWMI (Lufthansa) and S8IVQR (Eurowings)
On September 4, [redacted], I flew from Berlin to Tbilisi, Georgia via Frankfurt and Munich. I had a prior conversation with your customer service regarding taking my guitar along. I was assured that the guitar would be registered as hand luggage with no additional fees, ensuring no extra costs. I also inquired about the return flight with Eurowings on September 21, [redacted], and was advised by your customer service that there was no need to contact them separately. I was guaranteed that this hand luggage was included in the entire booking for both outbound and return flights.
However, on the return flight from Stuttgart to Berlin, Flight No. EW [redacted], I was unexpectedly charged a fee of €50 for this hand luggage. I was surprised by this and kindly request clarification or a refund of the amount.
Thank you and best regards,

Hi there,
I am writing to address an issue I encountered with my Lufthansa flight booking. My name is Nnenna Owunna, and I can be reached at [redacted] My Lufthansa ticket reference is QD7DIM, and my phone number is [redacted]9.
I booked a flight from Heathrow to Abuja via Frankfurt for 28/08/22 departing at 7.30 AM. However, upon arriving at Heathrow at 4 AM on the same day and attempting to check in at 7 AM, I was informed by the staff that my ticket was unconfirmed. Despite my understanding that my ticket was indeed confirmed, I unfortunately missed the 7.30 AM flight and was unable to secure an alternative flight for the same day due to urgent family matters in Nigeria.
I had to make alternative arrangements and booked a different flight for the next day through another airline with the e-ticket number [redacted][redacted] and booking reference [redacted].
I am requesting a refund and compensation for the inconvenience, loss of time, and earnings resulting from this situation. I have additional evidence to support my claim and appreciate your understanding in resolving this matter promptly.
Thank you.
