I bought a Livingsocial voucher for a massage at Calm Therapeutic Massage Center in Virginia Beach but have had trouble scheduling an appointment. Despite multiple attempts by phone, leaving voicemails, and even visiting their location, I have not received a response from the business. I hope they can either reach out to me soon or provide a refund for the lack of service.

I recently took advantage of an offer and stayed at the Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach on April 8th for one night. The reality of the hotel did not match the image I had seen. The reception was nice, but the room was filthy, bug-infested, and overlooked a noisy pool. The elevator was dirty, and the room lacked proper air conditioning. This was the worst hotel experience I've had, and I request a refund for the $[redacted] cost. Here are the details of my stay: Check-in date: Apr 8, [redacted] - Apr 9, [redacted], Village Two-Double Room, purchased on Mar 20, [redacted]. I hope to hear back soon. Thank you, L. Penny

I wanted to purchase a hair removal laser from Skinluxe Medspa, but during checkout, I didn't receive any confirmation emails like I usually do with Livingsocial purchases, so I assumed the transaction didn't go through. Later, I came across another hair removal laser offer from Lotus Laser and Spa and purchased it, encountering the same issue with no confirmation after trying to check out twice.
After a few days, I found out from my credit card statement that Livingsocial charged me for both transactions, even though I only intended to buy one laser. Since I don't need three, I would like to cancel the transactions with Skinluxe and Lotus.

I recently made a booking for a housekeeping service under Order # 1[redacted]04-[redacted]. The initial order total on the confirmation was $44.12, which is why I chose this service. However, as I proceed with the booking, the price seems to have increased, preventing me from finalizing the appointment. I have encountered issues with a previous voucher, resulting in financial loss and wasted time trying to resolve it. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in addressing this matter. Thank you. - C. Kelly

I had an appointment booked through Body Bliss, also known as Massage Works, for a massage and sauna on April 30th. However, the owner, Mr. Taylor, refused to honor the appointment because I had used a different voucher for a massage on April 8th. He cited a policy that there must be 60 days between treatments, but the fine print on the voucher actually specifies 60 days before repurchasing. Since I purchased a voucher for a massage only first and then for a massage and sauna package, I did not repurchase the same treatment.
I only found out about this discrepancy when I called to ask about the massage therapist. Mr. Taylor's solution was to request a refund since I would have to wait 60 days from my last service to rebook, despite my intention to buy a special package on my next visit. I find this policy disappointing and would like a refund, not a credit. Thank you.

I wanted to share a concerning issue I experienced today with a Living Social voucher purchased for $[redacted].00 for services at Salon Mirabella in Boston, MA. I had scheduled an appointment a few months ago for a Brazilian Blowout, mentioning my voucher multiple times. Upon arriving at the salon today, I was informed they would not accept my voucher due to a prior visit. Despite the dilemma, I decided to pay the $65 difference to proceed with the service. The restriction of only being able to use the voucher once for the Brazilian Service was not specified in the voucher or on the website, leaving me feeling that the situation was unfair. Although I could have opted for a refund or left, I felt compelled to pay the additional charge. This lack of transparency in their business practices was disappointing, especially when the voucher clearly states it can be repurchased every [redacted] days. I hope for a resolution from Living Social regarding this matter.

Hello,
I purchased an afternoon tea voucher from your company for the Mercure Hotel in Ayr for my wife's birthday in March [redacted].
Yesterday, we used the voucher and were quite disappointed with the quality of the afternoon tea. The sandwiches, cakes, and scones were hard and seemed stale, making it difficult for us to enjoy the food. When we raised our concerns with the waitress, she mentioned informing the chef but did not offer any further assistance. Furthermore, the swimming pool was cold, and there were very few working lockers in the changing rooms.
Overall, this experience at the Mercure Hotel was unpleasant, and I would not consider returning. It reflects poorly on Living Social to offer afternoon teas at this venue after such a disappointing visit. I had hoped for a nice afternoon tea and enjoyable time for my wife's birthday, but we were left dissatisfied for the £37 paid.
I am hopeful that you will address this issue promptly. I am requesting either a refund or a voucher for a different, more pleasant hotel that includes afternoon tea and leisure access.
Thank you,
Graeme C.

I was entering a credit card for an order for my elderly mother, and unexpectedly, the order for 2 tickets to a concert in Tarrytown, NY (Foreigner tribute) went through. This was not intended. My mother is battling cancer, and we are by her side during this challenging time.
I had a $16.00 trade-in that I planned to use for her item, but it seems like the $16.00 was also lost in the transaction. I am puzzled by what happened and would appreciate a refund of the charged amount. Please, credit the dollars back to the account. For any communication, please reach out to me via email at [redacted] Thank you.

Hello Living Social,
I am reaching out regarding my recent purchase of a voucher for a one-night escape to Dumbarton, including an overnight stay and dinner at The Dumbuck Hotel. The voucher code is UPA3K7-49VYNC. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to book, I have been unable to find any availability. My work schedule is erratic, making it challenging to plan ahead. I have called several times, even inquiring about paying extra for a Friday or Saturday stay, but to no avail. The hotel has been consistently fully booked due to holidays like Valentine's Day, spring break, and the upcoming Ramadan. As Ramadan extends until early June and fasting restricts eating and drinking, there is no chance for me to use the voucher before its expiration date. The hotel has also declined any June bookings prior to the voucher's expiration. Given these circumstances, I kindly request a refund for this unused voucher.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best,
Ambreen S.

I bought a voucher on March 3, [redacted], for a Nirvana Massage session with hot stone or aromatherapy for two people at a cost of $73. Since then, I've been trying to schedule an appointment but have been unsuccessful. I've called the phone number provided on the voucher, but it goes straight to a full mailbox ([redacted]). Today, I went to the location listed on the voucher, but there was no one at the reception desk. After waiting for 30 minutes, I knocked on one of the session room doors. A man came out, and after explaining my situation, he rudely claimed that the number on the voucher wasn't his and that he didn't know anything about it. He dismissively told me to leave my contact information and said he would get back to me when he had time. His behavior was extremely impolite, leaving me feeling very upset. I informed him I would seek a refund through LivingSocial. I no longer wish to visit this establishment, even if the service is complimentary. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and this was supposed to be a special treat for my husband and me on our 50th wedding anniversary. I am requesting a refund of $73 to my credit card. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated. Thank you. Debbie Delger

I bought a $[redacted] voucher for Jenifer Beauty for a 6D Eyebrow Microblading Session with a Signature Facial. The voucher number is LG-NBXG-Y35N-GGCS-[redacted]. I went for my appointment yesterday, but the vendor refused to accept my voucher and directed me to seek a refund from Living Social. They mentioned that I can only purchase one coupon from them for any service in the future. Earlier this year, on 2/7/19, I used another voucher (order #[redacted]) for Laser Hair Removal with them. I am requesting a full refund of the voucher amount to be credited back to the credit card on file.

I bought two tickets for Big Surf water park, one for one person and one for two people, to take our 13-year-old grandson with autism on May 24th. We were disappointed when we arrived at the park, which was unexpectedly closed. This is confusing and does not align with the information on their website or in the fine print. The fine print mentions no refunds or rain checks, but it also states to call their office to check the park's status. The website clearly shows their operating hours, and we planned our visit accordingly. Unfortunately, now we are left with three unused tickets since our grandson leaves the next day. I am hoping to find a way to obtain a refund for these tickets. I have the voucher for two but not the one for a single.

Hello,
I purchased a double mattress through LivingSocial on May 23rd. I sent an email the same day to cancel my order and request a refund, but I have not received a response from them yet. I also attempted to contact them by phone, but after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I was unable to get through.
I would appreciate your assistance in canceling my order and processing a refund for me.

I recently purchased two vouchers for the Rhaspody Day Spa. Yesterday, I redeemed one for a 60-minute massage, which was fantastic. However, the voucher also included a deluxe pedicure and manicure. Unfortunately, the technician only had time for a basic 20-minute pedicure and couldn't provide the deluxe treatment as promised. I would like a refund in the form of LivingSocial credit for the unused voucher, as I am disappointed with the service and will not be returning to the spa.

My relatives from Prague bought city pass tickets for our family on Living Social. When my relative tried to pay for it with a credit card, she received an "invalid" error and couldn't select Prague as her location, so we assumed the payment didn't go through. She then used Paypal to successfully purchase the tickets. Unfortunately, she was charged twice - once for the failed credit card attempt and again through Paypal. Now, we have six child tickets instead of three. Despite contacting Living Social via chat, they stated refunds were not an option. Can anyone offer assistance? My relative is out over $[redacted] for the extra tickets.

I received an email about my Living Social voucher nearing expiration in 7 days. I wasn't even aware I had bought a voucher, so I looked into it. Apparently, it was for 2 personalized sketch pads from Qualtry, valued at $79.98, which is quite puzzling! I wouldn't spend that much on just sketch pads. When I tried to reach out to Living Social, I was directed to contact Qualtry directly, but I couldn't find their contact details. I also attempted to call the [redacted] Living Social number but it seems to be out of service. I wonder if I can receive a credit or a refund instead of having to purchase the sketch pads for an exorbitant amount. It seems like there might have been an error in pricing, as $79.98 for 2 sketch pads that are likely priced at $7.98 each seems unreasonable.

On April 10, [redacted], I used the Livingsocial app on my iPhone to buy 5 tickets for the 5:30 Paw Patrol Live show at Madison Square Garden. After receiving an error message, I attempted the purchase again without success and ended up unintentionally buying tickets for the 10:30 show as well. Realizing the mistake, I promptly contacted Livingsocial to cancel the 10:30 tickets. Despite my explanation of the error, they declined a refund for the $[redacted] overcharge. I only needed the original tickets. I am hopeful they will reconsider their decision and issue a refund for the extra tickets or credit my account accordingly. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I purchased voucher #[redacted]7 on March 10th. When trying to book an appointment in May, the vendor said she was fully booked until past the voucher's expiry date in July. Surprisingly, when calling without a voucher a few days later, I got an appointment on July 2nd. Despite arriving for the appointment, she did not show up or return my call promptly. In a subsequent conversation, she provided numerous excuses and refused to honor the voucher within the allotted timeframe. I am disappointed by her unprofessional behavior and feel uncomfortable dealing with her in the future. I am seeking a refund as the vendor is unwilling to cooperate.

I purchased two Living Social vouchers for air duct cleaning. The technician was scheduled between 9 am - 12 pm today. The vendor initially refused to honor both vouchers per visit, but the fine print allows for it. When I called to confirm, they said my appointment was actually for July 9th, not today. I purposely picked today as I'm off work and leaving soon for a conference. Despite my situation, the vendor refused to send someone today or Saturday due to lack of availability and religious reasons. Frustrated with the interaction, I no longer wish to have them in my home. I'm asking for a refund on my credit card or as credit on my LivingSocial account for the two vouchers.
