Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing well.
I am experiencing an unusual issue with my LinkedIn account and other platforms. My name is Rossen Balabanov, and you can reach me at [redacted] Recently, I lost control of my accounts due to a security breach stemming from the reuse of my password "rosen000" on various platforms.
Despite receiving requests for payment to protect my email, I neglected them and eventually lost access to my primary email account [redacted] Currently, I can only access my accounts via phone, which is functional, but any changes require confirmation through my compromised email.
I am seeking assistance in recovering control of my LinkedIn account as I am in the process of job hunting following a challenging family situation. I acknowledge my oversight in prioritizing security and aim to secure my accounts better in the future.
I appreciate any support you can provide. I would like to update my primary email to [redacted], which I recently created and fully control. With this change, I believe I can independently enhance my account security by adding a secondary email and updated phone number.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Warm regards,
Rossen

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my account, which appears to be restricted. I provided an explanation promptly, but have not yet received any response. I am seeking clarification on whether my account is permanently deleted or if I can continue engaging on LinkedIn to assist others.
Jumio ID Verification Appeal Case Number: [redacted]97
I want to underscore the positive contributions I make on LinkedIn with an example of a recent post:
"WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A VETERAN DIES?"
I shared a touching story about the VA's respectful practice when a Veteran passes away, illustrating why I find great fulfillment in helping at the VA.
I am eager to return to the platform to continue making a difference. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated as I look forward to either resuming my activities on LinkedIn or moving forward if my access is permanently restricted.

My account is restricted, what caused this?
My account was restricted due to behavior that violated the Terms of Service. To learn more about restricted behaviors, refer to the "Do's and Don'ts" section of the User Agreement.
What can I do if I think this is a mistake?
If you believe the account restriction is a mistake, you can appeal by verifying your identity with us. Once your government-issued ID is verified, we will review the account for any errors. If eligible, a Customer Support representative will contact you regarding the restriction.
I uploaded my California driver's license, but the issue is not resolved. I am unsure what I did wrong that caused my account to be restricted by LinkedIn.

Hello! I encountered an issue trying to reset my password via email. I received a message stating that I can only change my password from a recognized device because another LinkedIn user added my phone number for two-step verification. Although I removed my number from the second account, I still cannot reset my password. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

While updating my account, I encountered a list of names that I confirmed and recognized. I reached out to these individuals without sharing any spam, advertisements, or sales material. I aimed to reconnect with contacts from my real estate and accounting work, as well as friends and family. Despite providing proof of my identity, which made me uneasy, my account remains restricted. I kindly request a review of the restrictions. Thank you.

Hello!
A friend kindly gave me a LinkedIn premium 6-month trial. I made a mistake and activated the trial on a new account instead of my existing one.
Can someone help me transfer the trial to my original account so I can enjoy the features with my existing network and connections?

Hello,
I am Veronica from the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona.
I have opened two support tickets for the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona (for which I have created the ABA - Academy of Fine Arts in Verona page).
The profile is old, and when it was created, there was no distinction between individuals and entities; it is not linked to a person but to a school institution.
I am asking how to proceed.
Without a response, you have blocked the profile.
Can I get some assistance?
I cannot send you my ID document, but I could provide the statute of the Academy of Fine Arts in Verona.

I have a subscription with your service which was recently automatically renewed for a premium service at $[redacted] for a year. Due to financial constraints from the current COVID situation, I cannot afford this amount. I tried to cancel my premium subscription online, but I received a notification that it will only be cancelled when it ends next April 8th. I have already contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge and have since removed my card from my account. I am willing to continue with the regular membership price for the remainder of the year but I urgently need a refund of $[redacted]. I have been attempting to reach out for assistance via chat and phone for half a day without success. Once this issue is resolved, I will also need to update my payment information.

I inadvertently created a LinkedIn account when I was young and can't remember the details of it. Recently, I created a new LinkedIn account only to realize that my old email is linked to the previous one I cannot access. I'd like to regain access to my new account as I don't have any linked email or phone number for it. I need to figure out which email is associated with the new account but I'm lost. Your assistance in helping me access my new LinkedIn account would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear LinkedIn Security Team,
I truly appreciate your attention to the matter regarding my account ([redacted]). Regrettably, the account has been restricted, and I am reaching out to implore you for assistance in resolving this issue. This account is crucial to our livelihood, serving as a tool we have relied on for many years. Its importance cannot be overstated, and its loss would have significant implications for me, my family, and our daily lives.
Over the past seven years, both individuals and companies have utilized our services. Sadly, our ability to connect with colleagues, friends, and clients has been hindered due to the account blockage. This setback not only affects my current job and potential future employment opportunities but also impacts my overall well-being. The inability to access LinkedIn has left me anxious about what lies ahead. I assure you that I will adhere to LinkedIn's terms and conditions diligently going forward.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
Best regards

Hello! I hope you are well. My email linked to my account is [redacted] I received a restriction notice that I've provided via JPG. Upon investigating, I believe it might be related to a recent prompt I got to sync/connect with my Google or phone contacts while accessing my account. I went through the list of friends provided and sent invites. If this caused the issue, I apologize, there was no harmful intent. I just followed the instructions. I really wish for my account to be restored so I can resume using this platform for networking and job hunting as a recent graduate. If this isn't the reason, please let me know as soon as possible. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you.

Upon attempting to log in to my LinkedIn account, I encountered the following message: "We have restricted your account due to behavior that violates our Terms of Service." I then attempted to verify my account with my Nigerian National Identity Card, but received this response: "Unfortunately, we were unable to approve the provided identification for reasons such as the ID type not being supported or it being unreadable." I have made multiple attempts with the same outcome and do not possess another form of identification. I am seeking assistance with this matter.

Dear LinkedIn,
As a fresher looking to enhance my skills during the lockdown, I enrolled in several professional courses during my free trial month and had a positive learning experience.
With a monthly salary of Rs. [redacted].00 INR, mistakenly allowing my premium subscription to renew at Rs. [redacted].00 INR has been distressing, especially during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
I unexpectedly received a renewal notice on May 19, [redacted], without any prior communication from LinkedIn regarding the subscription renewal or receiving an OTP for payment.
I kindly request the cancellation of my subscription and a refund of the charged amount. Any further information regarding the bill would be appreciated.
I sincerely hope for your assistance in resolving this matter.

Dear LinkedIn Support Team,
I am writing to clarify that I am not engaging in any fraudulent activities intentionally on LinkedIn. Recently, I mistakenly sent multiple connection requests as I aimed to expand my network for branding my real estate business as a real estate agent.
To ensure transparency, I can provide my official Government of India approved Aadhar card for verification. I acknowledge that my actions were an error, and I guarantee that this will not occur again.
I kindly request your assistance in reactivating my account. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I've been using LinkedIn for over 20 years. Recently, they asked me to verify my account. I initially provided my name as Matt, but my business name is still Cynthia Leblanc due to a name change after getting married. Now they are requesting more identifying information, which I am hesitant to provide as the company lacks a name or contact information. I believe the company is struggling, leading to these verification requests. Their service is subpar, and they seem to discriminate against women. Every LinkedIn member, as a professional, deserves respect. It is unnecessary for an employer to verify with this questionable company. Lack of contact information or customer service reflects poorly on their credibility.

As a prospective college student working to save money, I decided to try LinkedIn's Premium Membership free trial to connect with professionals in my desired field. Planning to cancel after one month due to financial constraints, I was surprised to discover I had been charged. LinkedIn's policy requiring cancellation a day advance seemed unreasonable, but I understand it is my responsibility to adhere. What I didn't anticipate was being charged for an entire year instead of just one month. This oversight has cost me $[redacted], impacting my school savings significantly. I am requesting a refund for the yearly charge and only wish to pay for the first month, as the penalty feels excessive for a simple mistake.
