I fell victim to a scam by a LinkedIn user named Nathan Butler who claimed to work for Orion, a subsidiary of Comcast, using the email [redacted] He offered me a job as a Mystery Shopper, stating he has been doing it since [redacted]. I received a $[redacted] check to buy $[redacted] in Money Cards, provide feedback, and purchase 3 Vanilla or Walmart gift cards. Believing it was legitimate due to the LinkedIn platform, I complied. However, my bank alerted me of an overdraft of $[redacted].19. After contacting Capital One and speaking to Matt from the Fraud department, I learned it was a scam. As someone searching for employment, I'm devastated by this loss. I reported the incident to the FBI and worry about my credit. These criminals preying on people online must be stopped. I need to deactivate the LinkedIn account for my company, Provant Health.com, promptly. The company is undergoing liquidation and has been acquired by Quest Diagnostics, who has requested the closure of the Provant Health LinkedIn account. The issue I encountered is that the Provant Health LinkedIn account seems to be linked to my personal LinkedIn account. Unfortunately, in attempting to delete the Provant Health account on 12/28, I unintentionally deleted my personal account and had to reactivate it. My personal LinkedIn account is essential to me, and I would like to retain it as I have [redacted] connections. The email addresses associated with my personal account are [redacted] and [redacted] I seek assistance as after 3 pm ET today, I will no longer have access to my Provant email, [redacted] Thank you, Elaine Peterson

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my account. I have been a member since [redacted]. My name is Elizabeth V. and I am a full-time university graduate and Neuropsychotherapist. Each time I attempt to contact support, there are unwarranted charges. Another page with my name exists, which is not mine. I request assistance in retrieving my authentic page. Despite considering upgrading to premium, I am unable to access my basic account due to issues. Numerous individuals share my name. Residing in New York, I aim to resume interacting with my connections through a different password. I am disappointed by the inconvenience and unfairness of the situation. I have been trying for over a year and a half to access my LinkedIn account. I do not want to create a new account. Currently, I am unable to log in at all. Kate T. I have included my driver's license as requested in the email. I am unable to attach it through the website. Please contact me by email, call, or text to assist me with logging in. I used to work at OLPH Catholic School, but I no longer do. I need to update my account information. My original email was [redacted], and then it changed to [redacted] I no longer have access to either of these email addresses. I've tried using my personal email [redacted], but it seems to be associated with another account, possibly mine. Therefore, I've created a new email address [redacted] to replace my Catholic emails. I would like to remove any association indicating that I am employed at OLPH since I am no longer working there.

Today I uploaded a video that seemed to appear on my feed without issues. However, my wife couldn't see it on her feed, so she checked my recent activity, but it wasn't there either. This same situation occurred back in December. I waited five hours, then gave up and reposted, but the problem persisted. I also encountered another person who experienced a similar issue. I haven’t used my account for years, but my employee notified me that my account may have been hacked. I received spam from someone claiming to have information about me. Regarding your reply dated January 7, [redacted], 10:36 PM CST, Maintaining my livelihood is essential, and I deserve an explanation for the sudden interruption of services that lasted nearly two days. This issue is not related to confidentiality. Will I be credited for the two days of service interruption? Will there be compensation for the business I lost during this time? Understanding why my services were restricted is crucial to prevent a reoccurrence. I have prepaid for these services, and it is reasonable to expect uninterrupted service without prior notification. Contacting clients before restricting services should be standard practice. What are your business ethics that allow service interruption without communication? I had to leave work on Sunday, only to find the service restricted due to what seems like an arbitrary decision by LinkedIn. I have repeatedly requested a call from a manager via email but received no response. Basic client relations are necessary. - H.L.

Hello, my name is Anurag. In November [redacted], I signed up for the LinkedIn Learning free trial and entered my card details. Recently, I noticed that my free trial has been automatically upgraded to a premium account and Rs.[redacted] has been deducted from my bank account. I did not intend to subscribe to the premium services as I have not used the learning services or other features of LinkedIn since the free trial ended. Could you kindly refund the deducted amount and cancel my premium membership? If that is not feasible, please close my LinkedIn account. Thank you.

Hello, I am currently helping my father, who is not very tech-savvy, with his LinkedIn account. Since he has retired and no longer has access to his work email (the one he used to register on LinkedIn), we have encountered some issues. After clearing his browser cache/history, his LinkedIn profile information, including his work history, seems to have disappeared. We have created a new account using his personal email and merged it with his work account as per the instructions provided. However, he is unable to receive the confirmation pin on his work email to verify his identity. Consequently, when trying to log in to his work account, a code is sent to the inaccessible email. I have two questions: 1. Where can we find his missing profile information? 2. Is there a way to check if he created any additional accounts and forgot the login details? I believe I may have accidentally deleted my account. When trying to log in and forgetting my login details, I went through the identification process with my driver's license and passport. However, after that, LinkedIn emailed me addressing someone named Richard, whom I do not know. Even though my personal information is on my documents, they are being linked to the wrong person. I submitted all the necessary information, but I need this issue fixed. Please confirm if my account is still active. When Googling my name, LinkedIn profiles come up, indicating someone might be using my account. If LinkedIn cannot assist in recovering my account, I would like to request the removal of my information from search results.

I suspect my account has been compromised. I forgot my username and password and followed the verification process by submitting photos of my driver's license and passport. However, I received an email from LinkedIn addressing someone else with the information provided and stating they couldn't recover my account. This is concerning as my personal details are on those documents. I am disoriented and urgently need my information removed from LinkedIn. This issue requires immediate attention.

Hello, I assisted a colleague in closing their LinkedIn account last November. I recall a message mentioning that it could take a couple of weeks to complete the process. However, it has been around six weeks now, and my colleague's account still shows up on LinkedIn when searched for. I find this situation quite perplexing. Can LinkedIn Support offer any insights or provide an explanation for this? Thank you.

Thank you for the Premium account offer, but I have recently retired, and the service is no longer of interest to me. I would be grateful if you could remove my name from the circulation list. I am receiving invitations to join LinkedIn members who are already in my contacts, and it seems there may be a parallel account that I am not aware of. How can I check this or could you point me in the right direction to resolve this issue? Our IT company in Antwerp, Belgium utilizes LinkedIn's vacancy features to recruit talented individuals efficiently. Despite only posting two vacancies ourselves, a search for icapps reveals 13 vacancies listed, which we did not authorize. It has come to our attention that an external entity (Jooble) is posting these unauthorized job openings. This situation is problematic as we prefer to directly manage our job postings. An issue has arisen where we continue to receive applications for the Project Manager position, even though we have already filled the role. Unfortunately, we are unable to remove the vacancy ourselves as it was posted by Jooble. Our attempts to reach out to Jooble have been unsuccessful so far. We seek guidance on how to address this matter promptly.

I tried to set up my account, but when I began, someone else's name appeared - Jane Russell. I don't know anyone by that name. I need assistance to create an account in my name. Hello, We have a company page at In-Trend Home Solutions that was created by a previous administrator who no longer works here. We require access to update it and enhance our presence on LinkedIn, but the page was not linked to our company email.
