Hello, my name is Robert K. Orizino, and I am a 71-year-old US Army Disabled Veteran. I've been attempting to register for the free LinkedIn Premium account for veterans. I was honorably discharged over 51 years ago, and accessing my discharge paper is challenging without a scanner or printer. Is there an alternative method to verify my Veteran status via mail or phone? With plenty of spare time at my age, utilizing LinkedIn could enhance my social media presence. I recently experienced a security breach on May 7/8, [redacted] while using the new NortonAntivirus VPN service with my Amazon credentials. A LinkedIn account, which I never created, appeared under a different antivirus program I switched to following the incident. The hackers targeted my internet provider and banking details, even eavesdropping on my phone calls and conversations with service providers, leading Google to lock my accounts for "malicious activity." My recent story titled "China at G7 Summit [redacted]" on Medium/ILLUMINATION was unexpectedly removed by LinkedIn while being shared on the platform, referencing their 'Professional Community Policies'. I have carefully reviewed these policies multiple times and have not identified any violations. It seems to me that this action is a result of the Cancel Culture phenomenon that is prevalent on social media platforms. Being an editor and writer for Medium/ILLUMINATION, I understand the importance of implementing fair and transparent policies. As a longstanding writer on LinkedIn, I urge the platform to resist succumbing to Cancel Culture and instead uphold values of common sense, decency, and mutual respect. Hello, I was surprised to find my LinkedIn account suspended without any prior notice. I believe LinkedIn, like other social media platforms, is being misused for spreading negative content and insulting my country. I intend to request the Iranian authorities to completely suspend LinkedIn's operations in Iran due to these abuses. I will also lodge a formal complaint with the Australian customer service against LinkedIn. It is unacceptable for LinkedIn to host content that insults researchers and volunteers in my country, especially those working on the coronavirus vaccine. The platform should solely focus on professional networking, not promoting harmful ideas and harassment. LinkedIn should not allow any form of insults towards my country, nationality, or its administration. I will take all necessary steps to ensure that LinkedIn does not promote negativity, disrespect international laws, or permit any harassment on their platform.

I have encountered issues with Iranians using LinkedIn to harass researchers and volunteers from my country regarding receiving the Iranian vaccine and not respecting our country's rules and citizenship. If LinkedIn does not address this behavior and suspend those involved, I will take further action to ensure they are fully suspended from Iran. I am willing to escalate this matter as needed to protect the honor of Iranian citizenship and nationality. LinkedIn must take appropriate action promptly or face consequences, as I am prepared to file a formal complaint on behalf of Iranians with the Australian court system. LinkedIn must not allow their platform to be used for harassment and must adhere to the regulations set forth by Iran.

Hello Team, Approximately 4-5 years ago, I created an account using my Gmail address [redacted] I had forgotten about my original LinkedIn account linked to this email and unknowingly created a new one for job searching purposes. Upon realizing there was duplication, I decided to delete the old account, but both accounts were deleted. Subsequently, I attempted to create a new account to continue my job search successfully. However, I now find my account has been permanently restricted. I am seeking assistance in restoring my original account to resume my job search. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated. I was born in Madrid, and I am not sure if it's another person with the same name and last name living in Madrid, or if it's actually my information shown under that name. I want to express my wish for all traces of my data to be removed, dating back from the beginning of time to now. This request is not related to you, and I appreciate the work and service you provide, but I highly value my privacy. After the few days it takes to complete the deletion process, I would like my information removed. I would like to communicate via email with you to explain the situation and find a resolution. I recently received a request from a person with the email address [redacted], which was displayed on their profile. This individual unexpectedly asked me for money despite us being strangers. I was alarmed by this and upon investigating their profile further, I found that the link to the company they claimed to work for was invalid. Subsequently, I received a follow-up email requesting an email transfer, this time with a male name associated with it. When I mentioned that my online transfer capabilities were on hold, they urged me to send $[redacted] via a Bitcoin ATM. They even threatened to tarnish my reputation if I did not comply. This person has now resorted to threatening to sabotage my personal and professional life through social media comments. I am feeling quite vulnerable and would appreciate any assistance in handling this situation.

Hello, I need help with my LinkedIn account. It used to be under my preferred name instead of my birth name, which no one knows or uses. I had set up two-factor authentication, but when my phone and computer broke, I lost access. Now I can't recover or access my account. I can't provide an ID with the wrong name. The only solution I found is to delete the account. I've tried many times from different devices but can't get in. There are waiting messages, and all attempts are from Oak Hill, WV, where I am located. You can even search for Aeson Knight to see my public presence and location. I don't want to lose connections I've made over the years.

I'm a LinkedIn Recruiter user, and I'm currently experiencing issues accessing LinkedIn Recruiter. My representative, Jacquelyn Petersen, is away, so I am reaching out to seek assistance with this matter. Whenever I attempt to access LinkedIn Recruiter by clicking on the icon in the top right corner of the regular LinkedIn page, I keep getting redirected back to the basic LinkedIn platform. Even if I open a new window and click on the LinkedIn Recruiter icon, the same issue occurs, and I find myself back on the regular LinkedIn page. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong or why this problem is happening. I am encountering issues accessing my LinkedIn account post the implementation of two-step verification. The verification code is being sent to a business phone that does not receive texts, which is my preferred way of contact. This hinders me from making any necessary adjustments to my phone numbers on LinkedIn, leading to an access problem. Following their redirection to a "live" chat service operated by Directly, which claims to provide elite customer service, I have not received any response after nearly 4 hours. Hello, I am Elodie Rabello and I have two public profiles under this name. One belongs to me and I wish to keep it, while the other is a fake profile created by someone who is insulting me. The false profile claims I work at Nestlé and hold a position as a communication director, which is completely untrue. The fake profile uses offensive language to insult me, making derogatory remarks about my physical appearance and my future child. I suspect the person behind this is someone from my past seeking revenge out of jealousy. I am tired of having this offensive profile public and have reported it, but no action has been taken.
