I'm Pallavi Pilaka. I had made a flight booking from IAD to YYZ for August 2nd, [redacted], to visit my parents in the Washington DC area. My Booking Number is [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. Unfortunately, shortly after booking the flight, I received news of a family emergency - my father's brother passed away in Australia, and my grandmother, my mother's mother, was placed on a ventilator and not in good health. Due to these circumstances, my parents needed to visit their respective family members, and I had to cancel my trip.
When I checked my booking online, it indicated that a refund had been processed, but I have not yet received the funds back on my credit card. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with details on when I can expect the refund to be credited back to my account.

My boyfriend got stuck in security after they called his name once. He sprinted to the gate, only to be told he missed his flight, even though the airplane was still boarding. It's puzzling why security didn't alert the gate about his situation since they knew he was checked in, and his luggage was onboard. His baggage is now en route from Edmonton to Hamilton, while he should be on his way to Halifax. I purchased insurance for situations like this so he could catch the next flight, but they're refusing to transfer his ticket. It's frustrating that the insurance doesn't seem to be helping in this case.

This morning around 11 am, while en route to Charleroi airport, I attempted to download my boarding pass for flight #[redacted]25, only to discover that my booking had disappeared from the Kiwi app and I hadn't received it via email. Unable to contact support through the app due to the missing booking, I retrieved the original booking reference from my computer 30 minutes later. I booked a flight from Karlsruhe to Tenerife, and encountered a schedule change with one of the flights being canceled. Kiwi offered an alternative that wasn't suitable, along with the option to refund the money. I chose an immediate refund with kiwi.com credit, assuming I would pay 20% and receive the rest back in my bank account. However, I was only given the credit without the refund, which doesn't make sense as I just wanted a quick refund. I prefer the money back instead of the credit. My daughter missed her connecting flight and we booked her on a flight from Bangkok to New Zealand with booking reference [redacted]33 through Japan. There was no information about needing a visa for Japan in the reservation. We assumed everything was fine since her confirmed flight was from Bangkok to Auckland, NZ. However, when she tried to check in at Bangkok, she was informed she needed a visa for Japan. We later discovered that with Thai Air Asia X, transit without a visa is not possible. We are requesting a refund for the Bangkok to Narita leg. Our daughter, distraught at the boarding gate, had to book and pay for a new flight to Narita with the help of Thai Airways agents.
