I am struggling to pay my bill in full and cannot afford a payment plan at the moment. My next payment is due on 9/1, and I am worried about a potential disconnection. Customer service advised me to call before that date for assistance. I can commit to paying $40 on the first, but I am still waiting for payments from new business contracts that I am unsure of the payment schedule for.

I recently noticed a significant increase in my electric bill when it was supposed to decrease. A representative called me the previous month to discuss a new plan, quoting a rate of 11.8 kwh. In jest, I challenged him to beat that rate, and he offered 9.4 kwh for a 12-month term. However, upon checking my plan after agreeing, I found they had me enrolled for 24 months at 11.8 kwh. Despite multiple attempts to have the recording of our conversation reviewed and corrected, the high rate persists. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford this increase. I have been unable to locate the corporate headquarters or get the customer service to rectify this error. If this is not resolved, I will have to incur a $[redacted] fee to switch providers. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. - Kelly T.
