I visited the Jack in the Box at [redacted] State Street in Santa Barbara, California. Unfortunately, when I pulled up to the drive-thru window, there was no response from the staff for about 4 minutes. Despite no other customers being present, they informed me they were not open yet when I approached the window. The employee named Leslie mentioned they were not opening at 8:30 that day, and when I inquired about their opening time, she replied that they open whenever they are ready. Despite requesting a simple order, Leslie insisted on the need for preparation. The encounter left me dissatisfied as Leslie was unhelpful and refused to provide her name. As I attempted to file a complaint online, the drive-thru was closed abruptly. Disappointed with the service, I decided to go to another 24-hour Jack in the Box. It's a shame to see the decline in service standards at a once-reliable establishment like the one at [redacted].

At the Siegen Lane Location in Baton Rouge, LA, I pulled into the drive-thru at 7:23 AM, placed my order, and moved to the pick-up window with two cars in front of me. Unfortunately, the staff took 5 minutes to finish with the first car, and then despite the car in front of me moving, I waited for 9 minutes with no progress. I decided to back up at 7:37 and leave. Upon reaching the speaker again, I was told that the customer ahead had paid but was waiting for equipment, and nothing could be done. I suggested having customers move aside to wait as standard procedure. Unfortunately, no action was taken, and I eventually canceled my order. The poor service was unacceptable. This incident highlights the need for staff training in handling drive-thru orders effectively, communication, and customer relations. Although I've frequented this location before without issue, this experience was disappointing.

On Saturday at 1:15 am, I visited the drive-thru hoping to treat myself with a large Oreo shake and a small fry without salt. However, when I got to the window, the employee quoted me the wrong price. I noticed he charged me extra for the shake by saying it was a different kind, but I had ordered the Oreo shake, which was clearly priced differently. Despite my concerns, he insisted on the higher price. I felt frustrated about being overcharged and receiving poor customer service when I questioned it. I hope this issue will be addressed, and that the employee will face consequences for his behavior. I apologize if my assumptions were mistaken, and I appreciate your attention to this matter. During my visit to the Jack in the Box located at [redacted] Ocean St, Santa Cruz, CA [redacted] on 7/31/22, I experienced extremely slow service. Despite placing my order through the app at 1:11 AM with the expectation that the food would be ready in 5-7 minutes, I did not receive my order until 2 AM. Unfortunately, the order was incorrect, with the wrong fries and missing items from my burger. The manager, who was identifiable by the headgear, had communication issues and was unhelpful in resolving the mistakes. The situation escalated when I had to return the entire order, resulting in further errors being made. The manager's attitude was unpleasant, especially when I requested fresh fries. Moreover, the restroom situation was problematic, as only the manager had the key, causing inconvenience for multiple customers. Despite reaching out to customer service twice regarding my experience and the incorrect order numbered [redacted], totaling $26.90, I have not received a response. Living in Wisconsin without local Jack in the Box locations makes it challenging to use any potential store credit or gift cards, as I don't plan to return to California for at least five years. I am seeking a refund for this unsatisfactory experience.

My order was incomplete and all the food was cold. I placed the order through the app and paid in line. The pancake breakfast I ordered had a balloon taste that was old, stale, and rancid. The hash browns were soggy and cold. Instead of the 6 French toast sticks I expected, I only received 3, which were also cold and soggy. The sausage patty was dried out to the point of being almost crunchy. My husband's fries were icy, and his burger had an overwhelming amount of sauce, making it completely cold and causing the bun to fall apart when he tried to pick it up.

I recently left a review on Google Maps and received a request to provide more details on jack-in-the-box.com/comments. This is actually the third time I have shared my feedback on their website. Although I received three confirmation emails, I am still waiting for a representative to reach out to me promptly. After four days, I was sent a survey asking if I was satisfied after speaking with a representative. How could I be pleased when no one has contacted me yet? I continue to express my dissatisfaction but still haven't received a call. I want to address the issue with an order I placed a couple of weeks ago. The food I received was terrible – cold sandwiches and fries, and tacos saturated with oil. I raised a complaint on their site, but two weeks later, I haven't heard back. The drive-through service was extremely slow, the food was inedible, and the customer service was uninterested. To top it off, there's a Taco Bell next door. I am hoping to speak with someone to get a refund for the $38 I spent on such disappointing food.

I am seeking assistance to receive a refund for an unsatisfactory order. A few weeks ago, I placed an order at Jack in the Box, including three hamburger combos, two chicken combos, and tacos. Despite living only 2 miles away, upon arrival home, I found the sandwiches and fries to be cold and unappetizing. The tacos were icy and dripping in oil to the point of being inedible even for my pets. I placed an order at Jack in the Box off the Foresthill Exit in Auburn, California on the evening of 8/16/[redacted]. I ordered 2 large French fries, 7 Jalapeño Poppers, a Large Oreo Cookie Shake, a Medium Strawberry Fanta, and Mini Churros, totaling $22.64. On reaching home, I discovered the Mini Churros were missing and found a black hair inside my Oreo Cookie Shake. This isn't the first time part of my order was missing, a previous instance resulted in Chicken Pieces instead of Jalapeños and also missing Mini Churros. I did not receive a receipt with my order. These mistakes occur frequently and need to be addressed. Finding a long black hair in my Shake is unsettling, especially since I am blond. For now, I will refrain from eating there. I request a full refund for my cash order.

I had a frustrating experience at Jack in the Box in Castaic- Sloan Canyon yesterday. I ordered 4 tacos and waited for 25 minutes, even though there was only 1 car ahead of me. When I presented a coupon for three medium curly fries, the employee refused to accept it, claiming it was not allowed, which I know is false from my time working at Jack in the Box. Additionally, despite requesting my tacos to be well-done, they were soggy. When I asked for them to be remade, the employee insisted they were fine. Then, when I asked for my receipt, I was told it was in the bag, but it was not there. I am disappointed with the service I received and would like a refund for the poor experience. I will not be returning to this Jack in the Box location again.

I had a disappointing experience at the Jack in the Box store located on Pioneer Road, store number [redacted], during the morning shift with manager Ana. I am frustrated with my recent experiences at two different Jack in the Box locations. Despite asking for a simple burger with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions only, I encountered confusion with my order at both places. I rely on the app for my regular restaurant visits, although I don't frequent Jack in the Box often. Craving their curly fries, I visited them, only to be disappointed two days in a row. The employees seemed confused, resulting in incorrect orders at both locations. Today's burger was vastly different from yesterday's. While yesterday's order simply had ketchup and pickles on it, today's lacked tomatoes and still had pickles with excessive mayo. Although I usually don't complain, this consistent mistake has really bothered me.

I had the worst experience at Jack in the Box in Redwood City, California on Woodside Road. I couldn't make a purchase because they couldn't accept my money, claiming to have no change. Then, when I spoke to an employee in Spanish, they implied my money looked fake! It was unprofessional to speak that way in front of customers. I work in retail myself and we always prioritize customer care over judgment. Jack in the Box's poor service can greatly impact sales, especially when there are competitors striving to provide better service. The embarrassing incident even led the associate to ask if my 11-year-old could pay! I hope they review the security cameras around 10:15 am to address this. I plan to discuss this matter at a conference with my company to emphasize the importance of customer service improvement. It was disappointing to leave empty-handed, with my kids hungry, and no district manager's contact information provided. I hope the district manager addresses this issue promptly.

At 1 PM on Monday, 10/10, I visited Jack in the Box at Wetmore and First in Tucson, AZ. After a long wait at the drive-thru, I ordered a Jumbo Jack with Cheese and 3 egg rolls totaling around $10. After paying, I was asked to park and wait for my order. After waiting for 25-30 minutes, I went inside to inquire and was informed that my order had been forgotten. They offered a refund and the food but had trouble finding the Manager. Expressing my displeasure, I left and was confronted by a large employee from the store, leading to a threatening encounter in the parking lot. This experience took nearly an hour, cost me $19, and left me without any food. Extremely disappointed with this level of service.

I had a really upsetting experience at a drive-thru today. The manager was really rude and disrespectful. We had trouble ordering and receiving our food, as the manager was uncooperative and used inappropriate language. I felt discriminated against as she spoke to us in Spanish and refused to provide us with our order confirmation. When I asked for hot sauce, she initially declined, but eventually gave in. The lack of professionalism and customer service was disappointing.

I am currently at a Jack in the Box in Modesto, California, and I am frustrated with the lack of professionalism and courtesy at the drive-thru window. I have been waiting in line while the employee struggled to hear my order, and then the computer suddenly shut down. While waiting, I noticed the employee and other customers laughing, which made me feel like they might be laughing at me. This experience has left me feeling disappointed with the service. After work, I bought my husband the ultimate bacon cheeseburger and two tacos from the drive-thru at store number [redacted] in Humble, Texas. Unfortunately, when he started eating the burger, it was not what I ordered. Since it was late and I was already ready for bed, I called the store to address the issue. I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and then the call was disconnected. Upon calling back and requesting a manager, the call was disconnected again. I am disappointed with the customer service I received and hope this matter can be resolved soon.

I attempted to pay for my online order using the Jack in the Box app, but experienced issues with the payment processing. After driving for 2 hours in the middle of the night to get home, I stopped at Jack in The Box to grab some food. I ordered tiny tacos, loaded cheesecake fries, and a drink. I paid for my order but didn't receive a receipt. Upon checking the bag, I realized the cheesecake was missing. I had to circle back to the drive-thru window to inform the staff since the store inside was closed. I waited for about 20 minutes in line again. While waiting, I discovered the tacos were not loaded as I expected. When I finally reached the window, I mentioned the missing cheesecake and the error with the tacos. The staff member requested the missing receipt, which I didn't receive initially. I was asked to wait in the front for the tacos to be fixed. The delay in resolving both issues was frustrating, and the overall experience took about an hour and a half. I have experience in customer service and rarely complain, but this situation was unacceptable. All I wanted was a simple refund. It was too time-consuming to ask for a receipt, fearing it would prolong my visit.

I arrived at the Jack in the Box drive-thru around 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 9th. The interaction with the employee was not welcoming, which was disappointing given the news I had just received about my mother's passing. I recalled fond memories of sharing a vanilla shake with my mom at Jack in the Box and decided to order a cone, but they didn't have any. The manager, Jose, was rude and told me to calm down despite my emotions. I requested to speak to the manager, but Jose sent a girl named Gabby, who was polite and tried to assist. Despite paying for food I couldn't eat due to allergies, I left without the dessert I wanted. Gabby was the highlight of the experience, showing potential for future management. The lack of customer service from Jose led me to decide not to patronize Jack in the Box in the future.
