Dear Sir or Madam, I am reaching out to seek assistance in regaining access to my Instagram account. Today, I downloaded some apps to manage my followers on Instagram. After providing my username and password, I received a notification upon opening Instagram stating that my account had been temporarily locked due to phishing concerns. The options provided were to be contacted via a phone number I no longer use since I have moved to another country, or to send an email to my Hotmail account [redacted], which requires additional verification due to the location change. Unfortunately, the verification process prompts contacting me on the same outdated number. Could you please advise me on alternative methods to prove ownership of my personal account "ma1daa"? Hello, I appreciate your email regarding difficulties accessing my Instagram account @ootd.girlzzz. I believe my account was hacked, and I would like to provide evidence to support my claim. On the account, you will find insights from various days, recovery codes, a Hookah giveaway, and more. The original email associated with the account, [redacted], was changed by the hacker. Unfortunately, it has impacted my ability to earn money through the account. I can no longer access the original email for verification. My Instagram account has been blocked, and I am uncertain of the reason. When I attempt to log in, I receive a message stating I may have violated user rules. However, I have not engaged with others or posted any photos besides the initial one where I followed a friend and some YouTubers I admire. I created my account to share game pictures, but I haven't posted any yet. I am puzzled about how I could have broken any guidelines without any recent activity. I was away for just about a week, and upon my return, I noticed that Instagram had logged me out. When I tried to log back in, a message popped up saying, "your Instagram is disabled for violating our terms." It turns out my account was hacked, and the hacker posted inappropriate content to get my account deleted. I am confused and really need my account back. I have family and friends on there that I haven't spoken to in a long time, and I failed a class due to group projects being on that account. If I can have the account back, I will ensure to secure it by changing the password and updating some information. Could you please restore my account at your earliest convenience? Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out because my Instagram account "Lauren Cube Showroom" has been hacked this morning around 8am on January 23rd. I received a message from a hacker pretending to be Instagram, claiming there was a policy issue that required my immediate attention to prevent the deletion of my account due to a copyright notification. Panicked, I clicked on the message and attempted to access my account, only to find out I have been locked out. My handle is "Lauren_cube_showroom," and on my account, which has 13.1k followers, I showcase my showroom "CUBE SHOWROOM" in Paris. The hacker changed my username to "mark_lourbe" and has been deleting posts and messages, causing distress among my followers and contacts. The hacker has been demanding money and threatening to close the account. This situation is detrimental to my business, relationships, and reputation. I noticed unusual activity on my Instagram account, including three suspicious ads and over [redacted] unfamiliar followers. I promptly removed the ads, unfollowed the accounts, and informed my followers via a story post. Today, a 'Your Account Has Been Temporarily Locked' message appeared, prompting me for a security code. While I usually log in through Facebook without confirming my email or phone number, I have detailed information about my account, login devices, and Facebook credentials. Although Instagram previously sent an email to verify my email address, the security code request is not from that address, which I may no longer access. Hello, I have an issue that needs fixing. On Saturday night, while chatting with friends on PS4, one friend asked me to send a video I had shown him once in a private Instagram group. The video is shocking and is now on Twitter. After I sent it, my friend jokingly removed me from the Instagram group and immediately added me back. However, when he added me back, I got disconnected, and it said I was banned for 30 days. It then asked me to take an exam and wait 24 hours. On Sunday night, when I tried to log into my account, I received a message saying my account had been deleted. I don't understand why my account was deleted because the video I sent was in a private group, not public. I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue. Thank you.

I was unaware of the extent of this activity, and I sincerely apologize. I have filled out a form to appeal this decision. Facebook sent me an email requesting identification to confirm ownership of the account. After a few days, I received an email stating that the issue was resolved, and I could log back in. However, I am still unable to access my account. I have done everything in my power to rectify the situation. Hello, I believe my account was hacked as it was suddenly deactivated. I haven't engaged in any illegal activities, harassment, threats, or uploaded any inappropriate content. I received emails from PSN and Epic on Wednesday, January 20, [redacted], confirming the hack, and I have contacted their support teams. In addition, I couldn't change my password on Instagram. I am hoping for your help in recovering my account. I will update all my information and name. If you discover any details, please email me, as I intend to report this to the police. I trust that by taking these steps, I can reclaim my account. I have had my Instagram for years, even linked to Facebook which is currently deactivated. Hello, this is Jade Morel. I deactivated my Instagram account, Mrl_jade, a few weeks ago for a break. Upon trying to reactivate it a week ago, I encountered an issue. My phone number is not linked to my account, preventing me from receiving an authentication code. The email addresses associated are [redacted], later changed to [redacted] I signed up with the phone number 06 78 70 29 42. Created in [redacted], my account had a black profile picture, around 30 followers, and I birthdate is on December 26, [redacted]. Originally made on a Samsung, I now use an iPhone 8, with selected locations set to Lyon and Marseille.

Hello everyone, I need your assistance. I have had my Instagram account for over four years now and it holds many cherished memories. Unfortunately, my account was hacked about a week ago, and when I tried to access it, I was informed that it had been banned for impersonating another individual. Subsequently, my email address and account name were changed. The hacker altered my account name from "saschadiesel762" to "tammidoner34aa." Despite having two-step verification enabled, whenever I enter the correct code sent to my phone number, I am just greeted with a message stating that I am banned and I get logged out again. I attempted to recover my account through the help center by providing my ID, but encountered an error with no specific explanation. I suspect this error occurred because everything was changed by the hacker, making my original email address and account name invalid. Instagram now claims there is no account associated with my old email address. Please reach out to me via the email address provided for further assistance. I am at a loss as to what steps to take next, and I fear losing all the precious memories stored on my account due to this hacking incident. I appreciate any help you can offer; it means a lot to me in this desperate situation.

Hello everyone, I apologize for taking up your time, but I have encountered an issue and am seeking some clarification. As many of you may be aware, there is an ongoing problem with spam group chats on Instagram. I recently discovered that it is possible to deactivate the feature that allows people you do not follow to invite you to these chats, which is quite useful. However, I have noticed that the message options under privacy settings appear to be inconsistent. One of my accounts has this option, while another one does not. After discussing this with friends, we observed that some older accounts have this option while others do not, and the same applies to new accounts, business, and private accounts. It seems to be a random occurrence. My question is: why do some accounts have this option and will it become available to all accounts in the future? Good afternoon, I recently discovered that my account was temporarily suspended for purchasing followers using my own money and bank account, which I understand goes against your guidelines. I appeal for fairness as there are accounts featuring explicit content and inappropriate material that continue to operate. It seems unjust that my account is blocked when others are not facing consequences for more serious violations. I opened the Instagram app and saw that I had been logged out. When I tried to log back in, my password didn't work. I attempted to reset it via email, but the link to create a new password was sent to a different email address than mine. My verified email on Instagram is [redacted], not the one they mentioned. It seems like someone changed the email on my account to k********g@o***.pl. The username on the account is @stayhighdrated222, and I believe this was done to keep me out of my own account. I know I could reset my password using my phone number, but unfortunately, only my old number is associated with the account. I would really appreciate any help in regaining access to my account.

We have two Instagram accounts: #internationalwomeninjazz and #iwjazz. We created the first account because we lost access to #iwjazz due to a forgotten password. We are facing difficulties resetting the password and receiving emails meant for the account. In the Instagram settings of Our International Women in Jazz Facebook Page, "iwjazz" is still listed as a connected account under "Managing a Connected Instagram Professional Account." Before replacing "iwJazz" with "internationalwomeninJazz", we want to regain access to the "iwjazz" account. It seems that having an Instagram account in our Facebook settings should allow us to manage it. Our goals are: - Reset the password for #iwjazz to log in directly from Instagram. - Change "iwjazz" to "internationalwomeninjazz" in Facebook settings to enable automatic post sharing. - While we understand account merging is not possible, it would benefit the organization and audience. Can an Instagram staff member assist with this? If not, any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have updated my email address on my Instagram account to ([redacted]). Unfortunately, my iPhone stopped working, and I no longer have access to my old email. I have tried to reset my password without success. When I attempted to change my password later on, I managed to do so successfully, but then forgot it. When I clicked on "forgot password," I received the reset link on my new email. After changing my password again, this time using the FaceID feature to save it, I was prompted to enter a 6-digit code sent to my old email, which I can no longer access, hence why I changed it on Instagram. Now, I am locked out of my Instagram profile, which is public, and I cannot regain access. Please assist me. Best regards, @shadishanks

Hello, my Instagram page was blocked due to phishing, but I believe it was a mistake. I tried to update my old email address as I no longer had access to it. I have successfully updated my phone number with a new one. However, now when I try to reset my password, it asks for a verification code sent to my old phone number, which I no longer have access to. I need assistance to link my email and new phone number to receive the password and access my account. I have been trying to resolve this for over a year without success. I have tried verifying my identity with photos on the account and linking it to my Facebook.
