I have Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage. My membership number is R[redacted]5, and my name is William Handley. I currently reside in Laos but visit the USA annually for family reasons and medical care. During my last visit in September/October, I had a regular check-up with my primary care physician. This year, I plan to return in August/September for another annual physical. However, my doctor's office informed me that my insurance might not cover it due to it being less than a year since my last physical. Given my situation, where I must make this trip now, I am wondering if there is a process or waiver that could allow insurance coverage for my circumstances, despite the shorter interval between physicals.
