I have only applied for one job in my life. I found it on Indeed in September [redacted]. After submitting my resume, I got the job quickly. The posting was taken down the same day as my interview. I wanted to print the job details for my records from my Indeed account, but I couldn't find anything there. When I contacted customer service, they mentioned they could see my account with my email, but there was no activity recorded.

Hello, my name is Mike Sipusic. I received an email from Marlon Asher offering me a job as a Personal Shopper. I have doubts about the legitimacy of this individual and the company, Mark Trece Inc., especially since the phone number provided does not seem to belong to a reputable employer. The email listed various requirements and benefits for the job, including a weekly salary of $1,[redacted]. I am located in Inglewood, CA. Any insights or advice on this job offer would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would like to alert you to a scam using your website's name to deceive job seekers. I got an email from [redacted] after applying for a job on Indeed. The email asked me to sign up for Identity IQ to check my credit score and provide a credit report for a phone interview. Despite following these instructions and paying $1 for the trial, I never heard back. I forgot to cancel within the 7-day trial, resulting in a $29.99 charge. This deceptive scheme could make Identity IQ $3,[redacted] a week from [redacted] unsuspecting job seekers, tarnishing your website's credibility. Action should be taken to prevent such scams from harming innocent individuals like myself who trust your platform to find legitimate opportunities. I plan to report this to the Better Business Bureau.

I am struggling to stop receiving so many job postings from Indeed. Despite multiple attempts to unsubscribe, I still receive around [redacted] messages a day. The constant influx is overwhelming and impacting my ability to see important emails. I have tried contacting Indeed through email to no avail. Considering legal action due to feeling harassed. Can someone provide guidance on how to successfully unsubscribe from their mailing lists?

I applied for an Operations Specialist role at Total Spectrum and today I got an email response that seems suspicious. The email is not professional, the sender's address is not Total Spectrum, and the job isn't listed on the company's website. This position was posted on Indeed, but not on the official Total Spectrum website for Indianapolis, Indiana. I value your job search service, but I'm concerned about the legitimacy of the postings. I'm reaching out to address this matter and would appreciate your investigation into this issue and a follow-up with the outcome. --- I applied for an Operations Specialist position at Total Spectrum. I have been submitting resumes through your website and received two responses requesting me to send my resume to different email addresses. I am concerned about this practice as the companies should already have my resume on file. For instance, a company named Panel Systems Inc. asked me to resend my resume to the following email addresses: [redacted] and [redacted] I would like to know if these addresses are legitimate and if it is common for employers to request resumes this way. This is the second time a company has asked me to do this, and I'm unsure if it's a scam. I can forward these emails to you for review if needed. Thank you. Andy Fairbanks

I recently noticed that my resume appeared chopped up into boxes with incomplete sentences when I uploaded it. This issue might have affected other applications I sent out. Although I fixed the formatting, I would like to reapply to the jobs where my resume was not displayed correctly. It would be helpful to have a notification about this formatting change so applicants can edit their resumes accordingly in the future. I kindly request to reapply to the initial 10 jobs I applied for, including Vinschool VIN NY. It would be beneficial if the cover letter box could store multiple versions, making it easier for applicants applying to different locations. I believe these improvements would enhance the user experience on the site. Thank you for your help, and I am looking forward to your response regarding the possibility of reapplying to those schools that received my resume in a disorganized format. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently encountered fraud on the Indeed website. I applied for a "Warehouse/Personal Assistant" position at Tree Realty LLC. Jeffrey P. asked me to send my information directly to his Gmail account. Today, I received a message stating that I could start immediately without an interview. Instead, I was told I would receive an e-check to purchase items for kids. I find it suspicious that there was no interview process. If anyone needs it, I have the email as proof. I am seeking a part-time job, and it is concerning that this individual thought I would fall for this scam. Please reach out to me for more details.

Hello! I'm L.J., I browse Indeed daily for job opportunities. I noticed between April 3rd and 9th, there were listings marked as "best fit jobs," a new feature for me. On April 11th, I received a text from a person claiming to be Dora Guldborg from perfect jobs, offering help in getting hired by trucking companies. She requested more details from an application I filled out, which made me uncomfortable as only potential employers should contact me. This individual may be posting fake job listings, and this situation raised concerns about how they accessed the job database. I wanted to bring this issue to Indeed's attention as I value the service they provide. Thank you, L.J.

I recently applied for a hotel reception job at the Burlington Hotel in Cleethorpes, NE Lincs. I always use a different CV from Dropbox along with a cover letter when applying. This time when submitting my application, it mentioned that my email address would not be shown, which is crucial for contact purposes. After clicking apply, I received the standard confirmation email indicating that my CV and application have been sent. I now seek reassurance that the documents submitted were indeed the ones I intended to send along with my application. Thank you.

Hello, I recently applied for a job on Indeed and was contacted by someone named Nicholas Johnston from Atlanta, GA for a Personal Assistant position. He mentioned verifying my information obtained from Indeed and later confirmed the job via email. The job involves receiving a check, donating a portion to charity, and keeping the rest as my pay. I find this suspicious as there are no company details provided, only the name Nicholas Johnston ESQ. I believe this could be a scam and request Indeed to investigate. Please confirm if this job is legitimate to prevent any potential issues. Thank you.

I uploaded my resume on INDEED.com a couple of years ago and recently received feedback on how to improve it. I made several updates and additions, saving each section as I went. However, when applying for a job, I noticed the old version was uploaded instead of the updated one. This happened multiple times despite my efforts to correct it. I followed the instructions carefully, but still couldn't get the updated resume to appear. The changes recommended by a company that reviewed my resume were significant, and I feel the updated version would greatly enhance my chances of getting hired. I am seeking help from INDEED.com to resolve this issue and ensure the latest version of my resume is correctly posted. Thank you for your assistance. - D. Creekkiller

I have had a concerning experience on your platform recently. I applied to two driving jobs that seemed promising, but things took a suspicious turn when I received two large checks through overnight mail. One check was for $2,[redacted] and turned out to be a fake cashier's check from a credit union in Illinois. The other check, for $6,[redacted], is likely to be fraudulent as well. My main issue is how scammers can use your site to target unsuspecting job seekers. This isn't the first time this has happened through Indeed, as a similar incident occurred last year. I am willing to provide more details if needed. I am alarmed by what could have happened if I had deposited the check and followed their likely instructions to send them money. These scammers need to be stopped.

While trying to complete a job assessment on my phone, I encountered technical difficulties. I switched to a computer but faced timing out issues on 3 or 4 questions, resulting in a low score. Subsequently, every time I apply for a job requiring an assessment, the previous incomplete and low-scoring one is utilized. This situation is hindering my job search and possibly giving the impression that I lack the necessary knowledge for each role. I wish to clear the incomplete assessment and have the opportunity to take a fresh one for each position. The current system seems to be affecting my chances of being contacted by prospective employers for roles I am well-suited for. I would appreciate prompt assistance on how to rectify this matter before considering deleting my account.

I recently tried to access my account but forgot my password. When I selected "forgot my password," a link was sent to my email. After clicking on the link, I was asked my security question which I believed I answered correctly, but it was deemed incorrect. As I heavily use Indeed for job searches on my phone, I am in need of resetting my password. Additionally, my wife has my Indeed account saved on her phone, allowing her to access my account with ease. However, this does not solve my issue as I require access on my phone. If there is a way to retrieve the password from her phone, that would be beneficial as it's my Indeed login information. I apologize for any confusion and frustration this may cause. Thank you for your understanding.

I am encountering issues while trying to register on Indeed due to hackers on my computer. These hackers are interfering with my typing, changing spellings of words, and altering the job title I want to apply for. Despite selecting 5 relevant sectors, the hackers redirected me to a different page with only 3 sectors selected and blocked me from proceeding with the Registration by freezing the Continue button. They are also preventing me from uploading my most recent CV. These hackers are creating false messages to disrupt my computer and the Indeed website. Despite adding security measures, they persist on my computer continuously. I need assistance in removing them from my system to ensure smooth processes like changing my password in the future. If you notice any spelling errors in my messages, it is a result of their interference.

Hello, I am facing an issue when contacting candidates through Indeed. After sending them a message with my contact details, some respond with automated "interest" replies instead of directly reaching out. It would be more efficient for them to contact me directly through email or phone. Additionally, when I receive these automated responses, I can see the candidates' resumes but not the answers to the questions I included in my original ad. I have to follow up with another email to request this information. When candidates respond directly through Indeed, I do receive the questions and answers. The discrepancy between these two scenarios is causing some challenges in my recruitment process. Thank you.
