Additionally, an email was sent to Peter Grossi regarding a troubling incident at H&R Block. Social security information was also reported stolen, prompting further actions to prevent identity theft.

I recently noticed that HR Block mistakenly used my Employer's Business Address instead of my Home Address on my tax return, causing a delay. I paid HR Block for assistance with my Amended Return, and if they don't rectify this mistake promptly, I may not receive my tax refund. My concern is that HR Block's administrative processes are lacking, hindering their ability to provide accurate services to clients. It's disappointing that they are failing to meet expectations. HR Block needs to correct the address error on my return at no extra cost and refund the fee for handling the Amended Return to uphold their reputation as a reliable tax service provider.

I was informed that my case would be escalated, but no further communication has been received. My intention is to enroll in a tax class or take the knowledge assessment, but I am facing an error stating "email is already in use." Since I worked for the company during the [redacted] tax season, my email likely remains in the system. To proceed, I need to transition from inactive to active status, yet the transfer to the appropriate department leaves me waiting indefinitely. Despite giving a negative review on the satisfaction survey emails I received, I have not been contacted for clarification. I submitted my taxes early February through an online tax professional from H&R Block. After months of no updates, I received a letter from the IRS requesting identity verification. I complied, and they mentioned it could take up to 9 weeks to process my refund. Despite numerous attempts to contact the tax professional with no response, the IRS informed me my account shows $0 and I need to prove income again. I purchased the deluxe package that includes help and support until the return is issued. However, when I contacted customer service, I was informed that they couldn't assist and advised to reach out to the IRS, which is challenging. I'm turning to H&R Block for assistance as I paid for support in such situations. I was incarcerated for a couple of months after filing the amended return and may have missed communications from your end or the IRS. Regardless, I wish to resolve this promptly to receive my money. I contacted the Concord Office of H&R Block for a previously scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, the office was busy and my call was redirected to a different location. The person who answered seemed unaware of my appointment, offered a date beyond the deadline, provided inaccurate information, and suggested my usual method of working with H&R Block was not valid. When I requested my Tax Professional to call back since I couldn't reach them, I was informed they no longer provide that service, even though I had received call backs in the past. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told none were available, which I found hard to believe, and then the call was abruptly ended. This behavior is extremely unprofessional and falls short of the expected service from H&R Block. I am keen on submitting a formal complaint. How can I proceed? - Gray H.

I've been a customer for years. Recently, while trying to file my [redacted] tax return using your online software, I encountered issues. Although the accuracy review showed everything was fine, I couldn't e-file due to missing income information. The software displayed an incorrect social security benefits income of $20,[redacted] which I couldn't edit. It insisted on printing the return for mailing, which was inaccurate.
I had to redo my taxes using different software on IRS.gov and ended up using TurboTax for free since I couldn't correct the H&RBlock return I paid $21.31 for. I'm requesting a full refund of the fees.

I have been receiving emails regarding preordering the [redacted] tax preparation software, specifically the Deluxe plus State option. I reside in Texas where state taxes are not applicable. The block mistakenly canceled both cards, and I have not received any tax credits including the stimulus. Please cancel all my cards immediately. I have not received my first two stimulus checks. The IRS website states the money was deposited into an account ending in [redacted], which is not my checking account. It seems H&R Block may have put the money on an Emerald card, although I did not have one when the checks were issued. I am unsure where my money is and believe H&R Block owes me $[redacted]. Since they had my bank information, they could have done Direct Deposit. Instead, they opted for a card. I am curious about the card's location and the whereabouts of my money.
