Dear Grub Hub Manager,
I recently started using your service in Colorado Springs. I had a few great experiences, and I tipped accordingly. However, I had one not so good experience and did not tip extra. Today's service was extremely disappointing. My account number is [redacted]. I ordered a large pizza and two slices of cheesecake. I rang the delivery gate but never saw the driver. When I checked the GH app, it said the order was delivered at 5:10 PM. I did not receive it until around 6:10-6:11 PM.
Around an hour later, a neighbor looking for someone named "Donald" found me and handed me a cold, soggy pizza box. He found it on his porch as the driver gave it to his autistic son and left. Please refund my order and address this issue with your drivers. This was a complete failure and is totally unacceptable.

I placed an order assuming it would be delivered, but later found out it was for pick up after payment. After contacting the restaurant, they advised me to contact Grubhub. Grubhub then informed me that the restaurant claimed the food was ready, thus they couldn't issue a refund. The restaurant initially stated it would take an hour, but only 10 minutes had passed, making it unlikely they had finished preparing the order. I am now facing a loss of $41.00 and would like a refund since I am disabled and unable to pick up the food. I need the refund to order something that can actually be delivered to me.

I recently ordered from Leeanne Chins, spending over $50. Unfortunately, the food arrived partially cold, partially hot, and one dish even spilled. The delivery person seemed hesitant and did not open my gate, prompting my son and me to help her at the door. Despite this, she lingered by the gate. I had to trek to the gate in my socks on a wet, cold, snow-covered ground where she offered to come inside after I had already reached her. Given the limited delivery options to our location, I was deeply disappointed by this experience as I rarely order out. I understand everyone has off days, but this experience was particularly frustrating. Any assistance in improving customer service quality and addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated. I'm Theresa I., and I placed an order for 2 meals at Claim Jumper yesterday at 4:30 p.m. totaling around $50. Unfortunately, my order was not prepared correctly. I had requested a wedge salad to accompany my pot pie, but received a small fruit cup instead. I contacted them, and they offered a $12 credit for my next purchase, but this doesn't cover the additional fees I would incur placing another order due to the mistake. Panka's Peruvian Cuisine located at [redacted] Cranbrook Road, Cockeysville, MD [redacted] has been closed for more than a week. Attempts to contact them at [redacted] since last Wednesday, 12/11 have been unsuccessful as there has been no response. The restaurant appears closed with no lights on when passing by. It would be helpful if they updated their phone recording to mention any holiday closures, but currently, there is no information available. It's been confirmed that they have remained closed for 9 days now, as of 12/9.

The restaurant you have listed on Grubhub has been permanently closed for nine days now, since December 9th. The location was visited and found to have its lights off, doors locked, and no one answering calls. Kindly remove this listing from the Grubhub App as it is no longer operational.

I placed an order with KFC on Grubhub with an estimated delivery time between 1:25 and 1:55. I requested for it to be left at the front desk with security, which has always worked in the past. However, the order did not arrive by 2:10, well past the expected time. Checking the app, it claimed the order was delivered at 1:55, which is not true as no one from Grubhub came by. I am located at [redacted] Blair Mill Road, Horsham, PA, [redacted], and there is only one such address in the area. As the head security officer, I am always at the main desk and would have seen any delivery. I suspect the driver either never picked up the order, delivered it elsewhere, or ate it. I am disappointed as I missed lunch and now seek a refund and credit for a future order from Grubhub. I believe I am owed a meal more than money in this case.

The delivery took much longer than expected, which I understand it's Christmas Eve. However, upon arrival, the food was inedible. It looked unappetizing and I couldn't bring myself to eat it. This is disappointing for me as I usually love Red Robin. Despite this unpleasant experience, I don't want to boycott the restaurant. I just wanted to share my feedback. I have some pictures if it would be helpful to illustrate the issue.

I placed an order on Grubhub for Crave in Toms River. Even though the order status showed as delivered, I did not receive anything. The delivery driver claimed to have dropped the food at my door, but my Nest camera footage proved otherwise. When confronted, the driver refused to redeliver the food. Upon contacting the restaurant, their response was unhelpful and impolite. Unfortunately, the Grubhub Customer Service line has a wait time of over ten minutes. After a long 10-hour work day, returning home to find my dinner missing was frustrating. Grubhub, once again, has managed to mess up the delivery process.

On the 27th of Friday, I placed an order with JoJo's for a pizza to be delivered between 6:00 - 6:30. Unfortunately, the delivery was delayed multiple times via text messages. When the pizza finally arrived around 7:30, it was burnt, cold, and hard as a board. I attempted to eat it, but found it to be terrible. Regrettably, my dog ended up consuming the slice I tasted. Upon contacting JoJo's, I was directed to reach out to you. I am disappointed with the quality of the pizza and do not believe I should be charged for this inedible meal that I was eagerly anticipating.

I am extremely disappointed by the service provided by Grubhub. The delivery was almost two hours late, missing an entrée, and the one item that was delivered was incorrect. Despite paying $70, I did not receive the meal I ordered. Frank from customer service promised a $5 coupon to compensate for the inconvenience but failed to send it. His handling of the situation was unprofessional, as he seemed unsure and kept placing me on hold. I have updated my email address with customer service. This experience was so unsatisfactory that I will not be using Grubhub again. The high charges do not justify the errors in service.

I placed an order from Fazoli on Grubhub, but there was an issue with my contact number on the account which caused a mix-up with the delivery. Despite my efforts to rectify the situation by providing my new number, the delivery driver called the old number. I reached out to both Grubhub and the restaurant for assistance but encountered difficulties reaching a resolution as the order was marked as delivered incorrectly. The support representative offered me partial refunds of $7, $10, and then $20, which I declined as it didn't cover the full amount I paid for my $22 order. Given the time-sensitivity of the situation, my inability to leave my location, and the financial constraints, I am seeking a full refund for the order.

I ordered from Grubhub for my favorite restaurant to be delivered around the time of my airport arrival. The delivery was estimated between 3:20-3:30. Arriving at the airport at 3pm, I delayed going through security to receive the food. I have been waiting for 33 minutes now. I noticed the delivery person passing the restaurant without updating that the order was picked up and taking a longer route. I phoned to suggest a faster path due to my flight, but the driver went in the wrong direction. This marks the second time my Grubhub delivery has been over 20 minutes late. I never complained before since I didn't realize I could track the driver. I see today's delay could have been avoided if the driver had used GPS for a quicker route. Kindly, reconsider the mandatory tip policy.

While driving home with a friend, I noticed a car aggressively tailgating me in a residential area with a 35 mph speed limit. Despite already exceeding the limit at 40 mph, the driver behind me started honking. When I slowed down to the speed limit, he illegally overtook me on the shoulder and even threw a water bottle at us.
Coincidentally, when I circled back, the same driver was delivering food outside his vehicle. I managed to take a photo of his license plate and am now reaching out to file a complaint and possibly take legal action.
I'm giving you the opportunity to address this issue before involving the authorities. The driver in question is a white male, around 24-26 years old, approximately [redacted] lbs, 5'10" tall, with light brown hair, wearing a black backwards cap and gray camo pants. He was driving a silver 4-door Chevy sedan with the license plate number 8LIY829.

I had a frustrating experience yesterday trying to order from Cafe India through Grubhub. Despite the restaurant being open, I couldn't place my order. When I finally managed to order today, the app showed the driver arriving before canceling my order and voiding the charge. Cafe India, realizing the mistake, contacted me to explain that they were unsure about what was happening as they were open. The chef personally delivered the food to me after closing. This situation needs to be addressed as it's challenging for restaurants. I was about to share the news that the restaurant had closed with my friends who also order from there.

I have a suggestion for GrubHub that I believe deserves serious consideration.
I am puzzled by the fact that the delivery personnel often fail to ring the doorbell or knock upon food delivery. Repeatedly, I have been left waiting for my order only to find it sitting outside. This is simply unacceptable.
I am troubled by the high delivery fees I pay, making it even more frustrating when basic courtesy like doorbell ringing is ignored.
The excuse of fearing Covid-19 seems like a weak explanation for what appears to be laziness and poor customer service. Providing gloves to drivers would address any concerns. Other delivery services manage to ring doorbells without issue.
While I have experienced other problems like receiving incorrect orders or facing lengthy delivery times, it is the lack of common courtesy that has ultimately led me to stop using GrubHub. If a company cannot take a moment to ring a doorbell, they will not have my support. This decision is based on principle and will impact my choices going forward.

I appreciate the assistance. I recently ordered (2) 1-meat meals from Famous Dave’s Barbecue. Regrettably, both meals had excessively dry ribs. The delivery arrived promptly around 4 PM today, June 16, [redacted]. The ribs appeared darkened due to being over-dried, with a crunchy top likely from prolonged heating. They tasted and felt like leftover lunch items. As a catering manager, I couldn't have served such quality. I've tried contacting Famous Dave's BBQ thrice with no answer. I have been waiting for 3 days for a refund on an unacceptable, inedible order from Casa Nueva on June 29th. I gave a 1-star rating that night and requested a refund as the food was missing items and appeared old. Despite contacting the customer service multiple times, including speaking with Gerardo A. through chat, I was only offered a 20% discount, which is unacceptable. I have a special needs son who relies on me, making it challenging to wait for a resolution. I requested that they email me their response but have not received anything. I am looking for a full refund for the June 29th order. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be exploring other delivery options besides Grubhub and will continue to leave 1-star reviews.
