I purchased a Groupon last night, and after completing the purchase, I discovered additional "Fine Print" details that significantly increased the total cost. I have been unable to find a way on the Groupon site to request a refund or cancel the transaction. The customer service phone number provided by my credit card company, 1-[redacted], directs me to visit www.groupon.com/support for online assistance only, which has not been helpful. It seems that Groupon's customer service has shifted to online support only, and it is challenging to find assistance. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to initiate a credit card dispute once I receive the necessary paperwork from the issuer. I am disappointed with the lack of effective customer service from Groupon and will ensure others are aware of this change.

On Thursday, December 6, I tried to purchase a Jet toothbrush but got distracted by a BIG DEAL ad for a personal alarm. When filling in my details, I noticed an unusual card expiration date format in two columns, causing my order to fail, stating my card was expired. Seeking contact info and returning, my details were lost. Concerned about my data, I contacted my bank immediately. Despite my efforts, I couldn't print details about the product mentioned in the ad, opting to take pictures instead. I intended to buy 10 of these items. I wonder if this was a genuine Groupon deal, as this unusual experience has made me hesitant after previously ordering from them.

A few months back, I purchased and paid for a hot air balloon ride from Boise Hot Air Balloon. Due to weather conditions, the ride had to be rescheduled a couple of times before the season for flights ended. They are not accepting reservations until late spring, which I understand, but I am hesitant to leave nearly $[redacted] unused for six months, especially as the deadline to use it approaches. My girlfriend and I are still eager to experience the ride next year, but we are unsure of availability or practicality so far in advance. Ideally, a refund now for a service we cannot use for six months would be best. We are passionate about taking the ride, and if we are still here and the company is operating next spring, we will rebook. However, uncertainty prevails, and we seek assurance now. I am unsure whether to address this with the company directly or with Groupon, as I know the company does not receive payment until the ride is completed. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently purchased an 8-ft artificial tree with a stand, but upon assembling it, it appears much shorter than advertised, even with the stand. The top part that acts as a tail does not contribute to the height I expected. I am quite disappointed as the product does not match the pictures shown online. Unfortunately, it is past the return period, so I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. Would it be necessary for me to involve legal assistance from DSK Law in Orlando, Florida? I have not encountered issues with GROUPON before and am disheartened by this experience. I wish I could attach a photo for reference.

As the Guest Experiences Assistant Manager at the Phoenix Zoo, I assisted a guest who had trouble claiming her gifted tickets. She was logged into her husband's Groupon account and I saw that he had gifted adult and child tickets for the Phoenix Zoo to her, but she couldn't find them in her email from last year. I managed to retrieve the order numbers from her husband's account, but we couldn't access the tickets to resend them from the phone. To ensure her entry, I provided her with new tickets at the Phoenix Zoo's expense for the day. Could you please mark order numbers [redacted]53 and [redacted]77 as issued and redeemed to resolve this? Thank you for your help!

I attempted to purchase Hootie and the Blowfish concert tickets multiple times today along with my friends. Although our tickets were initially processed and then refunded, I did not receive a refund in my bank account for two tickets priced at $59 each. Instead, only $[redacted] was refunded to my bank account. I tried to purchase these tickets four times. Initially, they were priced at $29, but an hour later, my friends were able to purchase them at a higher rate of $34. Subsequently, I decided to buy the tickets on Ticketmaster. I'm frustrated and upset with Groupon for canceling my ticket purchases and forcing me to buy them elsewhere at a higher rate. Now, my bank account is in disarray, and I have lost out on the tickets that Groupon had initially offered.

I purchased a Groupon for $[redacted] for microblading eyebrows as a gift for my sister's birthday. Unfortunately, the Groupon expired before she could schedule her appointment. Hello, I recently purchased a carpet cleaning service through Groupon. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing issues trying to schedule an appointment with the company. After reaching out, they informed me that the earliest availability would be next Thursday or Friday and mentioned they might charge an additional $30 due to my voucher expiring. I explained that my voucher is valid until Monday, 12/10/18, and I shouldn't incur any extra charges. I also requested to use the voucher for a slightly different service than originally purchased. I recently purchased a Groupon for a haircut at Fantastic Sams, only to discover that the location I visited does not accept Groupons and the nearest one that does is an hour away. Unfortunately, they also don't have any available appointments for when I need my hair done. I am quite upset by this lack of information provided beforehand. I assumed that all locations shown on the map would accept Groupons, but that seems not to be the case. I am requesting a refund of my $59 so I can go to a different salon for my event. This miscommunication is very disappointing, especially since I have been a loyal Groupon customer for years.

I attempted to purchase 2 personalized sketch books and 2 Santa bags from Qualtry for my grandkids ahead of Christmas, but despite multiple attempts, the items remain stuck in my cart. Groupon redirected me to Qualtry as a third-party supplier. Despite efforts to contact both Groupon and Qualtry, I have not received any responses. At this point, I just want a refund as the items won't arrive on time. I have already sent out other presents to ensure they reach my grandkids in time for the holiday. Dealing with customer service has been incredibly frustrating. I have experienced this issue for two weeks now without any replies from either company. I have made purchases through Groupon before without any major problems, but this experience has been disheartening. I will not be purchasing from Qualtry in the future. - J. M.

I mistakenly bought two sets of 3 tickets instead of just one set for the Cheat Day Land event. My first order number is [redacted]5 and the second is [redacted]7. I'm new to Groupon and was confused during the purchase. Within 30 seconds, I unintentionally made the second purchase without a confirmation number, leading to the error. I have bought two standard tickets for the Avengers event at London Excel through Groupon. The payment has been deducted from my account, and I have an email confirmation from Groupon. Although I wasn't prompted to select any dates, I tried to follow the instructions in the fine print by choosing the required dates on the Avengers Station website. However, when I applied the promo code "WISH20," it was not accepted. Now, the site is requesting my credit card information again, which would result in an additional charge of £56. I'm stuck in a loop as Groupon didn't provide an option to select dates or times, and the Avengers website is charging more and not recognizing the promo code as advised. I purchased a series of Laser Fat Treatments on your website from Wellness Weighloss. During my first session, I mentioned to the staff that the laser caused some skin irritation, and they assured me they would adjust it for my next visit. However, when I arrived for my scheduled second appointment, I was informed it had to be rescheduled at a different location or for a later date. Despite numerous attempts to contact Wellness Weighloss, I was unable to reach anyone. Due to the lack of response, I had to involve my credit card company to address the issue. I have always had positive experiences with Groupon until this unfortunate incident, which has left me out of pocket by $[redacted]. Groupon incorrectly stated to my credit card company that the service was completed, which is not true. I believe Groupon should investigate this matter thoroughly and provide me with a refund. I refrained from leaving negative reviews as I understand Wellness Weighloss is the actual service provider, not Groupon. However, Groupon should be diligent in vetting the businesses they promote. I have been trying to schedule an appointment via email, text, and calls with no response from Skincare Lounge. I am requesting a refund for the purchase as the expiration date is approaching and the Holidays are nearing. I have tried reaching out multiple times via email, text, and phone to schedule an appointment with no luck in receiving a response from Skincare Lounge. Due to the approaching holidays and my limited availability this month, I am requesting a refund for the Pumpkin or Apple-Pie Facial Spa Package I purchased. I bought a Shutterfly calendar voucher today. When I tried to use the voucher code in my Shutterfly account, I discovered that my account had been compromised. Shutterfly removed the coupon, but I am now unable to utilize my recent purchase in my new account. It shows as "This coupon was already redeemed." Unfortunately, getting assistance from Groupon has been challenging. I am requesting a replacement or reactivation of my voucher promptly. Thank you, I appreciate finding this forum via Google. I purchased a car for my son last year for nearly $[redacted] in November, in preparation for Christmas. Unfortunately, he only played with it once before the steering wheel wires broke due to delicate handling. Although the item was within the 30-day warranty period, the company I bought it from insisted on a 14-day return policy. They didn't inform me about the warranty, and I felt compelled to keep the broken toy. To compensate, they offered me $20 in Groupon credit with no expiration date. However, when I tried to use it for a hair appointment, I was surprised to find it had disappeared without warning. Feeling misled and frustrated, I believe the $20 credit should be reinstated, as it was meant to help with other purchases. The lack of transparency about the warranty and the insufficient compensation have left me disappointed and hesitant to make future purchases from them.
