I reported my card lost 14 days ago. They assured me a replacement would arrive in 7 to 10 days, but it hasn't arrived. It took multiple attempts to deliver my previous card due to my rural address and P.O. box. Now, bills are due, and I can't work without access to my money after 2 weeks. I plan to buy a prepaid Green Dot card to transfer funds from my new account (that I don't have the card for yet) to have access to my funds while waiting for the replacement card.

I visited a Dollar General store nearby and bought a Green Dot Gold Mastercard. On April 27, [redacted], I loaded $[redacted] onto it after registering. I was unaware that there were restrictions on using the card for online purchases. On April 28, [redacted], I made a purchase of $[redacted].82 on Amazon and approximately $2.95 on Wish. When checking the balance on April 29, [redacted], the card indicated $97.78 remaining. I received an email from Amazon stating my order was declined, while Wish confirmed my order was being processed. I called the card customer service at around 3:50 pm EST and found out that all transactions were declined. I am puzzled about where the $[redacted].22 disappeared to. It would be appreciated if you could respond to me via email. I am determined to retrieve the full amount.

On April 2nd, I attempted to update my card information but the representative only made a note without making the change. When I reached out on April 30th to inquire about a deposit check and learned that my account was not canceled, resulting in unauthorized fees and negative impacts on my credit, the supervisor instructed me to pay $25 to rectify their error and remove the late fee. However, after making the payment, when I attempted to contact them again, all three numbers provided were not working, frustratingly preventing me from reaching a resolution. This experience has left me extremely displeased with the company's practices, especially since I am now unable to communicate with them due to the closure of my account. I intend to caution others about engaging with this organization, as the lack of available email or phone support has left me feeling exasperated with their services.

After submitting all required documents, my account was closed due to what you claim are illegible pictures, which I can clearly see. This delay in releasing my card has caused me to receive an eviction notice from my landlord as I cannot access my funds to pay rent. Please either return the SSI payment or release my card promptly. Once I have my money, I plan to close my account since it's impossible to speak with a live person at your company. I am tired of sending multiple picture copies without success. On April 19th at 8:36 p.m., I returned an item amounting to $1,[redacted].84 to Walmart at [redacted] Boulder Highway in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have attached the return receipt for your reference. I have already emailed this information twice on April 20th and 24th to [redacted] and have not received any response. My account has been closed, and I was informed via automated service that I will not be able to obtain another card from Green Dot. Considering the lack of communication, I prefer not to have a card from Green Dot and simply want my $1,[redacted] back. It has been nearly two weeks with no progress. Please respond to me today, as this situation has dragged on for too long. If I do not hear from you soon, I will need to seek legal assistance. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

I am reaching out via email before attempting to call your customer service line. I am extremely disappointed with the poor setup of your phone service. The lack of assistance provided is insulting and frustrating. A solid customer service experience is essential to most customers, and unfortunately, your service falls far below expectations. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate it a negative 10. Before making my 50th call, I felt compelled to share my dissatisfaction. This level of service will likely drive many customers away. I plan to voice my concerns on platforms like Yelp and Facebook to inform others. The website also falls short with a rating of -5, as it fails to explain transactions effectively. This is by far the worst website I have encountered in association with a card. I cannot recommend this card to anyone based on my experiences.

I need assistance transferring money from my GreenDot account to my Paypal account promptly. I am urgently trying to make a purchase on eBay and the transfer from the Green Dot prepaid card to PayPal is delayed. I have been unable to reach a technician at Green Dot for help in resolving this issue.

I accidentally exceeded my Green Dot card limit as a new user. Despite my card being canceled, there is $[redacted] from November 7, [redacted], that I cannot access. I submitted my photo ID and last three transaction records as instructed by customer service to receive a refund via check, but I have not received it yet. Meanwhile, $[redacted] has been debited from the canceled card for monthly payments. I am unsure if I will be able to retrieve my remaining funds or if they will continue deducting monthly fees until the balance is depleted.

I am facing an issue with my new green dot card. Before I could even register it, someone stole my card number. I loaded $[redacted].00 onto the card but when I tried to register it, I couldn't. Customer support has been unhelpful as my social security number doesn't match the card account. I am unable to access the $[redacted].00 on the card. I am a low-income single parent struggling to make ends meet each month. I pay my bills on time using a Green Dot card to avoid extra fees for not having a bank account. I recently received a replacement card but am unable to activate it. I have been unable to reach Customer Service, and there is a block on my card preventing me from accessing my funds. This situation is frustrating as all my money is on that card, and I am unable to even go to the store due to a lack of gas. I would appreciate a prompt response to this matter. Account Holder Name: James Gort Address: [redacted] Frontage Road, Ingleside, IL [redacted] I was using the ATM at Walmart when my card got stuck and would not come out. I called the number on the ATM and spoke with managers from Walmart. The only information I received was that my card is blocked. I need access to my money from that account, and this issue has been ongoing for a week. I am unable to retrieve my money, which is causing me frustration as I have bills to pay. I have been using the Green Dot card for a few years to pay my bills as I don't have a credit card. I loaded $[redacted] on the card and used it to pay bills. When I tried to check my balance to make an online purchase, my card was locked. I was asked to verify my identity by sending my California ID, which I did. However, after three days, Green Dot said they couldn't verify my ID and permanently locked my card, preventing me from getting another. I am having issues with my Greendot prepaid Visa card purchased at Walgreens for $[redacted]. It is not activating and I keep receiving an "invalid card" message when trying to resolve it for weeks. Greendot seems to be pushing to defraud customers by not providing any email or phone number for support, while many others are facing the same problem. The Greendot card has never been activated and I cannot activate it either. Every time I try, it shows "INVALID CARD" or "Card information not found". Customer support can only be accessed with a recognized or activated card, which is frustrating. Currently, my only option is to contact Greendot through mail, which is unfair on their part.

I have not received my Green Dot card due to a block on my account that they refuse to remove. Despite sending a copy of my ID for verification almost [redacted] times, they claim not to have received it. Different representatives have given me various email addresses to send the ID to, but none seem to work. I suspect something fishy going on, possibly related to tax fraud. The customer service reps won't disclose their employer's name, insisting only that they represent Green Dot. While they have given me names and employee ID numbers, all the names provided are American, which seems odd as I am not speaking to Americans but to individuals from a call center.

I recently tried to activate my Green Dot card ending in [redacted], but was told the numbers were invalid. I reported the card lost, requested to close the account, and change my Direct Deposit to my NetSpend account. Although I was told I would receive my payment in 3-5 days, it has been 8 days and Social Security informed me that Green Dot has not released my money. I am taking immediate action and contacting Adult Protective Services as well as filing a lawsuit for various charges against Green Dot. I have signed documents with Social Security to pursue these charges to the fullest extent of the law. Withholding an elderly and disabled person's money is unacceptable, and I will involve the Federal Trade Commission in this matter. Providing accurate information and releasing funds promptly would have avoided this situation.
