I accidentally left my phone in a Target bathroom. When I powered on my new phone today, I discovered my card was declined. I checked and found eight unauthorized charges from September 11th totaling $[redacted] on Google Play. I didn't realize my card was linked to Google Play and didn't make these purchases. I would like a refund for these charges, as I don't use Google Play often. It is concerning that my card was saved there without my knowledge. I hope you can assist me in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

Hello! My name is Spencer, and I am reaching out regarding a Google Play Store application called Knight Defender. I wish to lodge a formal complaint and seek a refund for any purchases made within the app. My main concern revolves around the numerous bugs present in the game which remain unresolved despite my repeated requests to the developers for a fix. I have asked for compensatory measures to address these bugs and level the playing field, but the developers have consistently refused. I have evidence of our correspondence, which I can provide upon request. The pay-to-win nature of the game, coupled with their refusal to address the bugs, feels like a form of theft to me. Additionally, I suspect the developers are engaging in unethical practices by incentivizing users to give the app a 5-star rating through events. Despite these efforts, the app struggles to maintain a high rating, indicating potential manipulation of reviews. I fear my investments in time and money have not yielded the expected bug-free and enjoyable experience. I urge for a resolution to these issues and seek a refund for my purchases. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, Spencer

On September 14, [redacted], between 9:45 and 10:04 p.m., I accidentally purchased a package in Darkness Rises for $99.99. This was completely unintentional. The purchase occurred because my Android phone’s settings were set to "TAP" for Google Play purchases. While I briefly stepped away from the game, I returned to find a prompt for the $99.99 packet on the screen. Unfortunately, I unknowingly touched "buy" when I picked up my phone. I was unable to cancel the transaction and immediately contacted my bank to stop the payment. Despite my explanation, Google Play refused to issue a refund through email. I am adamant about not paying for something I did not want or use. I am seeking assistance in resolving this situation.

I have been charged $47.99 for the Google Play app called PicsArt and have struggled to get a refund since the beginning of the month. This has affected my ability to pay my utility bills and may lead to eviction as I rely on housing assistance. Despite reaching out to both Google and PicsArt, I have been met with unhelpful responses, with each pointing fingers at the other. As a disabled older woman with no family support, I am desperate to resolve this issue. I am frustrated by the lack of assistance and the impact this is having on me financially. The conflicting information from both companies has left me feeling disregarded and disrespected. I am unsure how I was charged for an app that was supposed to be free and feel overwhelmed by the situation. My limited monthly income does not allow for such expenses, and the lack of empathy from these companies is distressing. I feel unheard and devalued in this process.

I am requesting a full refund for all my expenses on the app Nova Empire due to several reasons. Firstly, there is a significant lack of in-game support. I waited for over 3 months for a response to an important issue but received no reply. The ticket was even deleted, and any subsequent attempts to contact them within the game were met with silence and further deletion of tickets. Secondly, there is a failure to handle hackers and cheaters despite having a cheating policy in place. Even with video and physical evidence of cheating, they neither take action nor provide a response, which connects back to my initial complaint about the lack of support.

I would like to request a refund from PWWC. They charged my account without my consent for a subscription renewal. The message I received states that my mobile number [redacted] was charged PHP [redacted].48 on 09/17/[redacted] at 19:32 for a Viu Premium PH monthly subscription. I recall that my free trial was supposed to continue until tomorrow. I am disappointed that my account was debited prematurely. I expect to receive a refund and would appreciate some form of compensation for this inconvenience. The unexpected deduction has disrupted my plans to call my aunt using the balance that was deducted.

I, S. Mateo, was guided by a representative over the phone to purchase a $[redacted] Google Play card, scratch the code, and provide it to them to fix my account. I sought confirmation due to the message stating the card was not redeemable by the buyer. Despite giving all the necessary information, the transaction failed, leaving my money stuck in the server. I was informed I had to wait three days for a refund. After hours on the phone, including disconnections and long wait times, I was left dissatisfied. My email password remains unchanged, my money unrecovered, and I no longer care about the phone, just my refund. I hope to have my money refunded promptly. Thank you.

I submitted a refund request and was instructed to call, but the link provided did not lead me to a phone number. My four-year-old accidentally made an in-app purchase of $[redacted].99 for a game. Following this incident, I removed the PayPal payment method from my Google Play account due to a similar situation happening two weeks ago with a $59.99 purchase for a Calm app that I only noticed now under my subscriptions tab. Being a single parent of three young children, the money taken from my bank account for these unauthorized purchases was intended for feeding my kids this week. I kindly request an immediate refund for both transactions.

I've been using Clash of Clans for over 5 years. When I switched from Android to Apple 6 months ago, I had Super Cell recover my village as I couldn't transfer it from Google Play. However, my village has disappeared again. Super Cell mentioned security reasons for not recovering it a second time. Apple confirmed my Game Center login, and my email is the same as always. Despite this, I can't access my village, and it seems to be an issue with the app. I've invested a lot of money in the game and need assistance. Can someone please help me resolve this?

I've spent the last 7 months relocating to a new state and have been updating my information gradually. Recently, my card was declined at a local gas station, prompting me to check for suspicious activity with my bank. They advised me to reach out to you for assistance. Upon reviewing my Google Play purchase history, I discovered numerous charges for a game called Heir of Light, which I have never played or heard of before. The unauthorized charges amount to over $2,[redacted]. I have taken immediate steps to secure my accounts by canceling my card and removing all payment methods. I am seeking help to recover these funds as I have not authorized these transactions. I plan to contact the game developers for resolution but would appreciate any assistance you can provide. Please contact me via email as my availability for phone calls is limited due to work commitments.

My phone was stolen from me on September 15, [redacted], at a birthday party. I used Find My Phone from another device three days later. Unfortunately, my account password was changed, and even my recovery email on a Yahoo account was altered. I have had both accounts for around 10 years. I am in the process of filing a police report, but I desperately need help in recovering my account before my photos are deleted or my banking app on the phone is accessed. The last email I received was from my mobile provider, stating they changed the password on my phone account in an attempt to change my phone number. This situation is disturbing. I can verify my ownership of the account through autofill with my personal information and by accessing my Facebook account linked to this Gmail address for the past eight years. Please assist me in resolving this issue. Thank you, Danielle Laird. Gmail: [redacted] Password: karenzaJo17. Recovery phone: [redacted]. Recovery email: [redacted] (before being changed on September 18, [redacted]). Thank you.

Hello, my name is Rina from Malaysia. I recently received a text message on my mobile phone approximately 30 minutes ago stating: "RM0. You have been charged RM399.90 for Peak Games - Legendary Bundle (Toy Blast). Thank you for paying with Hotlink Credit/ Maxis Bill." I did not authorize this purchase and did not verify any transaction. Could you kindly investigate and cancel this charge for me? I have no interest in purchasing this bundle. Thank you.

On September 18, [redacted], I spoke with an individual claiming to be from Google who instructed me to buy $[redacted] worth of Google Play cards to process my loan, but after providing the card numbers, I didn't receive any confirmation or loan agreement. When they asked for an additional $[redacted], I became suspicious and contacted my bank, who confirmed it was a scam. I'm seeking a refund of the $[redacted]. I later conversed with an agent who asked for my debit card details to issue a refund, but I am concerned this might be a part of the scam. It seems like someone is impersonating Google employees. I have the name and address shared by the suspicious agent. Please assist me in reclaiming my funds from this invalid transaction.

I was charged for my subscription on Sept 5th, after the first attempt was denied due to fund availability. The second attempt for $9.99 went through successfully. Around the 15th or 16th, a second charge was attempted on my backup card, and my services were cut off after contacting support online. It was only after inquiring about the multiple attempts that my service was interrupted, even though I had already paid on Sept 5th. The $9.99 fee shows deducted from my bank account. I am concerned about the repeated charging attempts and the service interruption without cause. Instead of emails, I prefer resolving this over a phone call with a live representative. Thank you, Barbara

I regularly play on various slot machine apps, with Cashman Casino being one of my favorites. Unfortunately, I woke up yesterday morning to find an unauthorized charge on my Google Play account that I need to get refunded. The charge was approximately $[redacted], which depleted my Google Play credits (around $15) and took the rest from my bank account. I have never made a purchase of this size before, typically spending under $20 each time over the past year and a half to two years. This unexpected charge has put my bank account in the negative, making it difficult for me to buy groceries for myself and my children before my next payday on Friday the 28th. I did not authorize this purchase and urgently need the funds returned. Please address this matter at your earliest convenience.

I am requesting a refund for all in-app purchase transactions made today due to a fraudulent event within the BattleWarship app. Despite following the proper procedures within 6 hours, only one transaction was refunded, and automatic emails denied refunds for transactions made on the same day. I have seen Apple support successfully provide refunds to others affected by this fraud after contacting them. The developers are unresponsive to refund requests, prompting me to turn to Google Play support to retrieve my money spent on this developer-created fraudulent event. It is crucial that developers are held accountable for profiting illegally from consumers, and I trust that Google Play support can assist in recovering these funds. I hope for your help in facilitating the necessary refund as a Google Play consumer seeking recourse against this fraud.

I recently purchased an app that offered a free trial week. Due to being displaced by Hurricane Florence, I wanted to use the app to watch a game. Unfortunately, the app did not function properly during the first game, cutting off multiple times. It did not work at all during the second game, prompting me to subscribe despite being charged already. After initially contacting CBS, I was directed to your support. Despite detailing all the issues, I received an automated response denying any refund. Given the current situation with Hurricane Florence, a more empathetic response would have been appreciated. It was determined that the app had a malfunction as my new phone ran all other apps smoothly. I am disappointed in the lack of real assistance received, as the journey for help only led to generic replies that did not address my concerns. I am considering escalating this issue to the BBB to ensure better customer service standards.

Hello, I recently noticed a charge of $11.99 from Google iPlay on my PayPal account that I do not recognize. I have been informed it may be a subscription that I unknowingly signed up for. I am unsure of what this is for and would like to request a refund if possible. I have just started using a computer and may have accidentally clicked on something I did not intend to. Can you please assist me with canceling this subscription and refunding the $11.99? This situation is causing me stress, and I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you, Angelsbaby

Hello, I am reaching out about an issue with a charge on my mother's bank statement related to an app from your play store. When purchasing books on Amazon.ca for my mother using a new Android phone I bought that day, I accidentally signed up for a trial of Nord VPN through your service. Due to returning the phone, I no longer have the email associated with the Play Store account. My mother, who is on a fixed income, noticed the charge on her bank statement and we are hoping to be reimbursed by Nord VPN. They are willing to refund the money, but they need the email linked to the account, which I don't remember. Could you please provide me with the email connected to the account for us to proceed with the refund request? The entry on the bank statement is as follows: OPOS GOOGLE *NordVPN [redacted]-[redacted]-398NSCA ([redacted]/09/10) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Zaahir Toussaint

Today is September 25, [redacted], and while reviewing my checking account, I noticed an unauthorized charge on September 23 for $10.59 from *GOOGLE MUSIC [redacted]-[redacted]. This purchase was not made by me, and I have never used Google Music before. I am the only one with access to my devices and Google account. I reviewed my Google Music/Google Play history and found it empty. I have canceled the subscription but discovered that Google Music doesn't offer refunds after purchase. I request a full refund, removal of my debit card from Google, and assurance that this won't happen again. I suspect this charge is related to my recent use of Google Maps, a free service that shouldn't require payment information. I have no confidence in using Google services going forward due to this incident. Please address these concerns promptly.
