This is my third attempt to reach out to request the discontinuation of the $5.99 charge for "CBS" through Google on my account. This charge has been occurring monthly starting from October 8, [redacted], up to the most recent one on April 8, [redacted]. I had a conversation with a customer service representative in March when the charge recurred. I clarified that I did not authorize these payments as they have been ongoing since October [redacted]. I am not aware of anyone downloading or paying for CBS using my account. I kindly ask to be unsubscribed and to receive a refund of $41.63 for the unauthorized deductions. A representative previously assured me of the subscription cancellation and refund within 5 to 7 business days; however, I have not received the refund as promised. Please advise promptly. Thank you, Gena M.

On March 24th, I noticed an unexpected charge on my checking account from the Life360 app for $69.99. I quickly went to my Google Play subscriptions, canceled the charge, and reported the incident. Google Play informed me that the payment had already been transferred to the app developer. When I contacted the app developer, they directed me back to Google Play for a refund. Despite multiple emails, I have not received a refund and am now struggling to cover my expenses. I have been dealing with this issue for nearly 3 weeks and am still out $69. Can someone please help me get in touch with Google Play to resolve this issue promptly? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, C. Altier

I recently bought 12 Google Play cards at Sam's Club in Apopka, FL. Upon checking online, all cards had been redeemed. Sam's Club agreed to refund me, but some cards were actually empty when I purchased them. They asked me to seek procedures from Google for a refund. There were similar issues in Orlando, FL, at Publix in Ocoee; they resolved it by returning stock to Google. Any guidance on getting refunds for the remaining cards would help. I've bought about 50 cards recently, and this is my first issue. Thank you, Jim C.

Around 3 a.m. this morning, the Play Store began deleting/disabling apps on my phone. I am wondering how and why this happened. I am eager to have these apps restored. These apps were not originally downloaded from the Play Store, and I dedicated a significant amount of time to finding and setting them up. Time is valuable! I am using a custom ROM, not a Google ROM, and I utilize Google's free service (Play Store). Google does not cover my expenses. I believed Google was part of the Android Open Source Project, or at least involved in it. So, why would they compromise my phone, remove my data, and apk files? Shouldn't I have the right to reciprocate and access Google's servers as well?

While playing Township, my stylus accidentally made a purchase of 10,[redacted] coins on my phone. I am seeking a refund of $2.99 for this accidental purchase. Even though I have found preventative measures to avoid this in the future via Google Play Store, I need help with the refund process as the provided instructions have not been successful for me. The purchased coins have not been used and are ready to be returned. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this issue.

Today, I received a call from individuals claiming to be from the ITO, accusing me of tax fraud. They pressured me into buying $[redacted] in google play cards at Woolworths to settle the supposed debt. Feeling intimidated, I complied. I later realized this was a scam. I panicked because I recently moved from NZ and was uncertain about tax procedures here. Unfortunately, I shared the card details with the scammers. Despite reporting to the authorities, my bank, and the store, I have been unsuccessful in getting a refund. I am now exploring the possibility of recourse through google play, as suggested by Woolworths. Any assistance on recovering my funds would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Laila

I inadvertently downloaded the Dipali Kabadge app which resulted in a subscription charge of INR [redacted] on March 24, [redacted]. This amount is significant to me as a single parent saving for my daughter's school admission due on April 15. I am the only breadwinner and currently do not have the funds available. Despite my lack of familiarity with the app, all terms and conditions were reviewed. My utmost priority is to provide the best education for my 6-year-old daughter. I implore the developer to consider my situation and refund the amount. While INR [redacted] may not be substantial to you, it is crucial for securing my daughter's future. Your assistance in refunding this amount would be sincerely appreciated.

Dear Google Play Team, I am grateful for your support in helping us release our app soon on the Play Store. We have a list of permissions for the app. Users will be prompted to allow all permissions upon launching the app. If the user denies any permission, they can still access basic functionality, but if they attempt an action that requires a denied permission, they will be asked to grant it at that time. The permissions list includes: READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS, READ_PHONE_STATE, CALL_PHONE, CAMERA, and RECORD_AUDIO. In one feature of our app named "Invite Candidate," we send an SMS without utilizing any external library by creating an Intent as follows: Intent smsIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_SENDTO, Uri.parse("smsto:" + smsData)); startActivity(smsIntent); This SMS feature operates within the default SMS application on the device, requiring no additional permissions. I seek guidance on matching the permission list with the necessary declaration form information for the Play Store submission. Thank you, Adarsh

My Quickbooks Self Employed subscription was suspended due to a billing issue. The suspension occurred because my credit card had been cancelled by my bank after a fraudulent charge. I have updated my billing information on Google Play, but my subscription does not show up. Whenever I try to add it, I am redirected back to Quickbooks and my suspended account, creating a frustrating cycle. I need to reestablish my subscription account and ensure that the payment is processed correctly for tax purposes. Quickbooks has been attempting to assist me for a week without success, and they have now directed me to seek help here. Thank you, JD

I am concerned about the suspicious behavior of the two FreedomPop apps on the Play Store. In my experience, these apps may be fraudulent as they require payment for additional services. The free version is unreliable and can cause issues with the phone, such as screen blackouts and app crashes. I upgraded to access more features, hoping it would improve performance, but the app stopped sending messages. I struggled to find a phone number for customer support and only received generic advice to update the app, which did not help resolve the problems. I reached out to a phone number listed on my billing info but encountered difficulties with the automated system recognizing my account. Despite paying for extended services, updating, and reinstalling both versions of the app, the issues persist. I have screenshots documenting these problems. I believe this behavior constitutes fraud and wish for the company to face consequences, possibly removal from the Play Store.

I want to bring attention to a scam involving Google Play cards. My elderly 80-year-old father, a pensioner, was scammed of AU $[redacted]. He was instructed to buy 20 x $50 Google Play cards from a local supermarket, which he did. After scratching the cards, he shared all the serial numbers with the scammer who claimed to be from the Telco Company NBN in Sydney, Australia. I believe it's crucial to address this issue to prevent other vulnerable seniors from falling for similar traps and losing their hard-earned retirement savings. Please escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities and have someone reach out to me. I will then provide my father's contact details for further communication. Thank you. Chaminda Adikari.

Hello, I was charged $99.99 today for a subscription. I was in the middle of a 7-day free trial and was supposed to receive an email before the subscription charge. Unfortunately, I didn't get any notification, and today I received an email confirming the $99.99 charge for a year's subscription. I only used the app for 2 days and no longer need it. I would like a refund as I did not intend to subscribe for a whole year. My schedule has been hectic, and I couldn't find the time to unsubscribe, especially since I didn't receive the expected email alert. I have already unsubscribed from the app, but it won't take effect until April 11, [redacted]. The app in question is iScan - PDF & Document Scanner. I urgently need the money that was debited from my account.

Yesterday, I purchased a $20 Google Play card from Safeway. When I attempted to redeem it, I encountered an error code. After contacting Google customer service via phone and email, I was informed that they couldn't credit the funds as the email address linked to the credits wasn't mine. Frustrated, I bought two $10 cards from Walmart today. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred with one of the cards. I have one card left, but Walmart won't refund me. I suspect there may be a scammer involved. I'm a regular Google Play customer and want to resolve this issue. I need guidance on how to proceed as I'm hesitant to scratch off the last card without assurance. The error I received was related to the region, but the main problem is that the money had already been redeemed. This situation is causing me great frustration, and I seek assistance in resolving it promptly.

I received a notification that my Google Play Publisher account has been terminated for previous violations. I manage the app hosting for a small organization and I'm willing to remove any apps or accounts that do not comply with Google's policies. I'm requesting the account to be reopened to avoid significant losses and jeopardizing my work from the past five years, valued at around $50,[redacted]. I am prepared to rectify any mistakes made and seek proper guidance. Is there a chat option or a way to escalate this matter to higher authorities? I'm eagerly awaiting a positive response. Thank you. Contact: Mob: +[redacted]42 Email: [redacted]

I bought "Bloons TD 5" on Google Play using my Android device and granted permission for the app to download. The agreement specified around 100MB of data for the download, but it used 500MB instead. This has depleted my data plan, which was unexpected. I would like to understand why Google Play provided inaccurate information regarding the download size. I do not seek a refund for the game, as I plan to install it later using Wi-Fi.

In February, I experienced multiple unauthorized charges on my checking account from Emberent of Mountainview, CA, and Small Giant, Playrix, and Kartasov, all based in Mountainview, CA. The most problematic were Playrix and Kartasov, with over 27 instances of duplicate charges. Seeking a refund, I provided bank statements as evidence. The issue also affected another debit card I use for Google Play purchases. After numerous occurrences of duplicate charges, I uninstalled the apps and plan to inform others on the Play Store about possible fraudulent activities by these merchants and other developers.

Hello, I am seeking assistance from Google Play Store customer service regarding an incorrect sales tax charge issue. I reside in Chicago, IL, where digital goods are exempt from sales tax. However, starting January 1st, [redacted], I noticed that all my Google Play purchases were subject to an 8.25% sales tax rate, which is applicable in Texas, where I previously lived until September [redacted]. I realized that despite having updated my credit card billing information, my Google account still showed a Texas address. Consequently, since [redacted], sales tax has been applied based on the Google account address rather than my credit card information. After correcting my address in the Google account, recent purchases no longer incur sales tax. However, I have identified $1,[redacted].68 in transactions this year that were inaccurately charged the 8.25% sales tax, totaling $[redacted].94. I would appreciate a refund for these incorrect sales tax charges. I have compiled a list of the charges for reference: [redacted] I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and am available to provide any additional information if needed.

I have been charged by something called Google Moon Active for a game called Coin Master, which I do not play. I keep getting charged by this developer for a game that is not even downloaded on my device. Just today, April 13th, I was charged multiple times. I want my money refunded as I do not play this game and it is not on my phone. Please address this issue and process the refund. I am frustrated with being charged for a game I do not play, especially when I do not even have any games downloaded on my device. Thank you.

Over three months ago, I was incorrectly Chat banned in Walking Dead: Road to Salvation. Despite tech support acknowledging the mistake, my Chat remains censored. Entry-level support continuously closes the ticket without resolving the issue. As a clan co-leader, this hinders communication with my in-game clan members. With 30+ years of experience in the IT industry, I am aware of the challenges of entry-level support. Scopely's support team is particularly lacking. Contemplating reaching out to a friend who is a VP at Google Play to intervene. Others have faced similar issues and even stopped playing due to Scopely's actions. Drawing on my 40+ years as a gamer and 30+ years in IT, this level of support is unprecedented. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have been attempting for over three weeks to secure a refund from the app Rings of Anarchy due to my account being inexplicably blocked. Despite my efforts to reach out via email, I have not received any responses. I even contacted the developers directly and left feedback, to which they replied on the feedback platform but not through email. While I have received some refunds on several transactions from Rings of Anarchy on Google Play, a significant number of transactions totaling over [redacted] remain unresolved. My attempts to seek refunds directly through Google Play have been unsuccessful, and opening a case did not lead to any resolution. I am seeking assistance from Google Play to help me recover the remaining funds from the Rings of Anarchy app, as I feel unfairly treated after investing over [redacted] euros in an app that banned me without cause. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
