I suspect my account has been compromised as there are unauthorized logins occurring. I am trying to secure my account, but the phone number linked to the account is not mine. Every attempt to secure the account requires a "check your phone" verification, but the phone associated isn't mine and has never been. Oddly, I am not given the option to receive the security code on my alternate email; instead, it only prompts for the unknown phone number. This situation is preventing me from making any changes. Assistance is appreciated!

Dear Google Team,
I am reaching out as my Gmail account has been hacked and I have been unable to log in since 04/08/[redacted]. The email address in question is ([redacted]). Despite being able to receive the 6-digit verification code on my mobile, the hacker has changed the recovery email and added an authenticator app & 8-digit manual backup code that I am unaware of. I have been attempting to log in or reset through the recovery wizard on my previously used devices (Computer, Android) but have been unsuccessful.
I kindly request your assistance in regaining access to my oldest and primary email account.
Thank you,
Nurun Nobi Sojib

I lost my phone on the bus a while back, and I need help recovering my email account. I can provide proof that the email account is mine by showing pictures of it connected to various apps. I also have an iCloud account that is very similar, which I recently regained access to after a long waiting period and contacting Apple Support. I'm hoping to regain access to my Gmail account soon.

I recently tried to log in to my Google account ([redacted]) to access Instagram, but encountered an issue where I had to recover my account. Despite several attempts, I kept receiving a message saying it could not verify my account. I attempted to log in from different phones without success. Feel free to reach out to me via my alternative email, ([redacted]). Additionally, I tried to enable 2-step verification but realized I hadn't set it up for this email. I've been struggling to regain access to my account for a week now, and I'm concerned about losing all my personal information on Instagram.

Good day.
I have been unable to access my Gmail account for a couple of years now. I remember my email/username and password, but I no longer have access to the South African cell phone number linked to the account. Since I now live in the United States, I am unable to receive the verification code sent to that old number. There are no alternative sign-in options provided, and I am unsure if there was another email associated with the account.
The fact that my old phone number is now being used by someone else raises concerns that they could potentially access my account and related information. In South Africa, phone numbers are recycled to new users after a contract is canceled for about three months.
I can verify all the details in my account and provide my passport or ID to Google if necessary. Unfortunately, I do not have a trusted device for the OTP authentication process. I am seeking help to either regain access to my account or secure it better under these circumstances.

I have been using a non-Gmail email address ("[redacted]") to manage my Google account and access shared Google Drive documents and Google Calendar for work purposes. Recently, I hired a VA to help me with my inbox management and she created a Gmail delegate account without my knowledge. Unfortunately, she set it up incorrectly and then left.
Now, I am facing issues with accessing my Google Drive and calendar as my email has been changed to "[redacted]" on all calendar invites. When I try to log in with "[redacted]", it directs me to the new email, which is not recognized.
I am unable to change the main account email back to mine, even though it was only added recently. I am worried about losing access to my calendar appointments and documents if I remove her email from the account.
Is there a way to remove her email address from my account or transfer access to a new account with "[redacted]" as the primary login? I need to maintain this email for business continuity reasons.

Hello! I am looking to regain access to my Gmail account '[redacted]' Unfortunately, my phone recently broke, and my Google Authenticator was installed on it. I am unable to receive SMS codes as my number is blocked by the operator. I left Russia a few months ago due to the current situation and challenges there, preventing me from getting a new phone easily. This email is crucial to me as it contains important documents related to my political refugee status. I have successfully recovered my Facebook and Instagram accounts, but this Gmail account seems to be more complicated. I'm willing to provide any necessary information for verification. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in resolving this issue. Thank you.

My email account [redacted] has been hacked.
I noticed a security alert from the recovery email when I tried to sign in to my hacked account, it displayed a message that the password was changed 2 hours ago.
Upon clicking "forgot password?", it requested a security key from USD which I do not have. I then tried the "try another way" option, but it asked for an 8-digit backup code that I never had access to since I couldn't sign in.
Subsequently, I selected "try another way" again and it prompted for a verification code from an unknown email address.
I am unable to use the account recovery page and the username recovery page, as it keeps redirecting me to the same page.
I discovered that the recovery email for the account has been changed to a new one that I am not familiar with.
Even though my hacked email address is "[redacted]", I am still unable to sign in. If you can assist me, kindly reach out to me at "[redacted]".
I suspect the hacker's target was my YouTube Channel "Variety By AMH with 16.5k subscribers)", which now shows as "SpaceX News!" Please assist me in regaining access to my account.

"I believe my account has been compromised.
Upon seeing a security alert in a recovery email, I attempted to log in to my hacked account, only to find a message stating that my password had been changed several hours prior.
When I selected "forgot password," it prompted me for a "security key from USD," which I do not possess.
Using the "try another way" option, I was then asked to input an 8-digit backup code that I do not have access to since I am unable to sign in to my account.
Subsequently, opting for "try another way" led me to a request for a verification code sent to an unfamiliar email address, distinct from the recovery emails I originally set up - [redacted] and [redacted]
I am seeking assistance in regaining access to my Google account, as I am unable to utilize the account recovery page or the username recovery page without being redirected.
It appears that the recovery email for my account has been altered to an unknown address that I am unfamiliar with.
My compromised email address is [redacted], and I am hopeful for support. For further communication, please reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted]"

Before my long-haul flight from Europe to Indonesia, my iPhone 11 Pro unexpectedly crashed. With urgent need for a phone, I quickly purchased the new iPhone 14 Pro and managed to switch the SIM cards before my flight to Bali. However, I am now facing an issue trying to log into my Gmail account, which has two-step verification, as it requires access to the YouTube app on my malfunctioning phone back in Europe or a text code - both of which are inaccessible due to being overseas without carrier service. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, I am currently locked out of my account. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Hello,
I am Mrs. Marie-Rose Braizat.
I recently moved to Guadeloupe and changed my mobile number before updating it in my Gmail account [redacted] The issue I am facing now is that I cannot access my Gmail account anymore and cannot validate it because my old number +33 [redacted]22 has been replaced by +[redacted]44. Due to this oversight, all my important and administrative emails are stuck in that email address, and I am completely stuck.
Could you please help me resolve this situation so I can regain access to my email address? Additionally, my recovery email address has the same issue because it has the old phone number, which is preventing me from using it for recovery. My new recovery email will be [redacted]
All these issues stem from my move and the switch to my new mobile number +[redacted]44 without first updating my email addresses in Gmail and Hotmail.
Thank you for your kind understanding.
Best regards,
Mrs. Marie-Rose Braizat

I lost access to my Cox email account and have switched to using my old Gmail account, but I am facing difficulty with it.
1. Why isn't there any password security when accessing my Gmail account directly from my primary computer by entering "mail.gmail.com" in the Chrome browser?
2. I am unable to access my account from other computers using my historical passwords and the "forgot password" feature along with two-factor authentication is not working. Where can I find the correct instructions for two-factor authentication?
3. I imported contacts from my Cox email using a CSV file as per Gmail's instructions, but in my Gmail contacts list, they only show up as unlabeled head/shoulder icons without any names or alphanumeric information. Is there a way to display the contact names and sort them alphabetically in the Gmail contacts list?

I am currently unable to access my primary Gmail account, [redacted], and my old recovery Gmail account, [redacted], as I have lost the ability to retrieve information linked to them. I no longer have access to the phone number or recovery email associated with these accounts. I do have a third Gmail account that I can use to aid in recovering the older accounts. In the past, there was an option to provide a contact email for verification purposes, but that option is no longer available to me. Although I can remember some previous passwords, I cannot recall the most recent one that was changed about 6 months ago. Any assistance in regaining access to my primary and older recovery Gmail accounts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
