Hello, I have been attempting to link my Gmail account to my Outlook application on my desktop. Despite following the provided instructions for both IMAP and POP, I have not been successful. I encounter issues with IMAP where there is no response from the server, displaying an unexpected termination message, likely due to server or network problems, or a timeout. When attempting to use POP, the connection is established but test emails do not go through. I have input all the documented settings such as IMAP [redacted] and SMTP [redacted], or POP [redacted] with the same SMTP. Interestingly, these settings work perfectly on my second laptop with a different Gmail account. However, I face the same issues when attempting to set up this second Gmail account on my primary desktop. I am unsure how to proceed and would appreciate any assistance to resolve this matter.

I recently changed my password. However, after being in a car accident in May and sustaining a brain injury, I have been struggling with memory loss. I have sent my ID to Facebook for account recovery, but I am having trouble with my Gmail account. Since my phone was damaged in the accident, I can't remember if I set up a recovery email. I am unsure how to regain access to my email account.

I'm having trouble accessing my phone because I forgot the email and password after my friend formatted it. Unfortunately, my SIM card is not with me, so I can't receive the verification code. I am having trouble accessing my YouTube account as it is linked to a different Google AdSense account that I have lost access to. Despite providing all the correct recovery information for my AdSense account, I am still unable to regain access. Google has informed me that they cannot verify that the account belongs to me. I recently got a new phone and used "Smart Switch" to transfer all my data to my new S8. When setting up my Gmail, I encountered a problem with the Security key validation. After going through the Google validation process, I got stuck at the verification code step. I received an email with a verification code, but upon entering it, I encountered an error message. I also received an email regarding a password reset request for my Google Account, which I clicked on to cancel. I need guidance on how to regain access to my emails. Thank you for your assistance.

I lost access to my Gmail/Google account in March of [redacted]. This account is crucial for both my military and personal use on my Android device and for gaming. Unfortunately, while deployed in Korea, I was unable to recover it and had to wait until returning to the states. I have been using this account for 4 to 5 years and it contains important personal and government emails, as well as years of cherished photos and gaming data. Despite trying my known passwords and providing correct information, I keep receiving emails within 24 hours stating that the account cannot be verified or that the information provided is insufficient for recovery. This is extremely urgent for me, and I have been waiting for months to address this upon my return. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Dear All, I have been using Gmail services for over ten years with my account [redacted] and have been satisfied with the services. I am trying to access my Gmail account to unlock my iPad, but I can't remember the password as I haven't logged in for over a year, maybe longer. Hello, I am having trouble signing into my Gmail account. I know my email address and password, but I am no longer receiving any notifications in Google Apps. Previously, I was using a Qatar SIM card, but I have since left Qatar. I then switched to a Sri Lanka SIM card which I have also lost. Recently, I formatted my iPhone. Now, when I try to log in to my Gmail account, I am unable to do so. On my Windows 7 PC, I used to archive emails and retrieve them by clicking on the "retrieve" option at the bottom of the options list on the far left of the Gmail page. I recently got an HP laptop with Windows 10, and after archiving emails for the first time, I couldn't find the "retrieve" option when trying to access them. I am currently locked out of my Gmail account because I forgot my password. The phone where my email was saved got replaced, and my recovery email was also on that phone. Now, I no longer have access to the phone, forgot my passwords, and the linked number is no longer in use, leaving me unable to recover my account. My Gmail/Google account seems to have been compromised. I am unable to access it as my phone number has changed, and the security questions are no longer relevant for recovery. This morning, the Google landing page had a different layout. The link to our Gmail account was missing, so I had to re-add it using "add another account," even though it has been regularly used on that PC for years. After adding and accessing the account, I could see the unread messages. When I opened and replied to one of the unread messages, a notification suddenly appeared saying "Whohoo, all your emails have been read," and all unread emails vanished. Not just from the unread section, but all emails since 11-25-[redacted] disappeared without a trace. We urgently need to retrieve these missing emails, investigate if there was a security breach, and take necessary steps to safeguard the account. Thank you in advance for any assistance provided.

I am having trouble accessing my Gmail account as it was hacked, and the recovery methods are not working. My mobile phone is not receiving the verification code, and the recovery codes are also not working. Initially, the code sent to the alternate email was working, but now Google is not verifying the account through that method. Unfortunately, the code is no longer being sent to the alternate email, leaving me unable to verify the account.
