I purchased a new refrigerator in December [redacted], model # PFD28KNGFS, serial # VS54208. On Wednesday, September 21, [redacted], my refrigerator started making clicking noises. After contacting the GE helpline, I was informed a GE repair contractor would come out the following day. However, the appointed Asurion Appliance, a local GE repair service, did not show up at the agreed time. Despite my follow-up calls, Asurion had not received the order from GE. Finally, they came to assess the refrigerator on September 27th. Regrettably, I lost all the food due to the delay. The repairman identified the problem as a known issue with GE refrigerators, specifically the compressor seizing up, which requires a new part that will take 3-5 days to arrive. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed by this experience and am seeking reimbursement from GE for the loss of my food expenses.

I purchased a new dryer seven months ago. Unfortunately, after only one month, it stopped working, and despite repairs, the same issue keeps occurring. The repair technician informed me that the necessary part is on back order until November. I have had more downtime without a working dryer than in use. I do not want to wait six more weeks for a repair that may fail again. I would like a new dryer at this point to resolve the ongoing issues. I hope GE can understand my frustration and provide a prompt solution. Please address this matter as soon as possible.

I am experiencing issues with my water dispenser hose, which was last serviced on May 20, [redacted], before I traveled out of state. Despite trying to contact Frank multiple times without success, I have been unable to resolve the problem causing water to leak outside the refrigerator. The water sprays uncontrollably to the right, making it difficult to fill a bottle without splashing water everywhere. I would like to have the hose redone and need to speak with a technician to arrange a service visit. To expedite communication, I can be reached at [redacted] between 12 noon and 10 PM. As my email access is limited, I greatly prefer speaking directly with a representative to explain the issue clearly. Please assist me in scheduling a technician to address the faulty water dispenser hose.

I purchased a Hotpoint dishwasher in February, and it was delivered on the 16th. Since then, I've experienced continuous problems with it leaking. Despite multiple service calls, the issue has not been resolved. The leak has now progressed to the point where it is affecting the walls behind the unit. Every time I call for service, I have to wait at least 10 days. I am incredibly frustrated with the lack of assistance and feel like my concerns are not being addressed. The steam coming from the dishwasher has even caused damage to my countertop. I have been a loyal customer in the same house for over 37 years, and this situation is unacceptable. I am considering reaching out to the Attorney General or consumer protection agencies for help. This issue needs to be resolved promptly and effectively.

Hello, I am reaching out for assistance regarding my recent purchase of a GE dryer from Appliance Connection. Despite paying for installation, the delivery on Monday, the 26th, did not include the necessary parts for hook-up. I have been in communication with customer service multiple times, filling out online "TICKET" forms as instructed. Unfortunately, the parts for installation only arrived three days after the delivery, leading my Dad to hook up the dryer, which is now malfunctioning with a broken drum that emits a loud clunking sound. Despite sending pictures and filling out tickets online, I have yet to receive a resolution. It is now October 6, and after numerous attempts, I am unable to escalate the issue to a supervisor. As a loyal customer to GE products, including appliances and stock, I am disappointed with the lack of assistance from Appliance Connection. As a single mom, this significant purchase was a big decision for me, and I am now left with a broken dryer and no support from the company. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau for further assistance. If anyone could provide guidance or support in resolving this matter, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I am Kathleen V. I bought a GE dishwasher model GDT6955J0BB, serial number ZG[redacted]B, in spring [redacted]. It was fine until June when it stopped working. A technician updated the computer for $[redacted]. In October, it broke down again. The repairman said two circuit boards weren't communicating. Days later, it stopped once more. The repairman suggested resetting the circuit breakers, but that didn't work. None of the lights turned on during these breakdowns. I confirmed power in the kitchen, but the dishwasher didn't work. It was used lightly. I haven't received the bill yet, anticipating around $[redacted]. What will be done to resolve this issue?

My 9-month-old GE gas range had a gas leak in the oven, which was tagged and taken out of service by the gas company in March [redacted]. Despite attempts to repair it, it couldn't be fixed. GE offered a new range, but I've faced issues with damaged new units and delivery delays. I've had around 15 instances where scheduled deliveries were missed or new units arrived with cosmetic damage. I suggested solutions like paying the difference for a different GE model or accepting a cash offer, but GE didn't agree. They offered $[redacted] less than the unit's worth and refused to assist with getting a different model. Today, a damaged unit I had previously rejected was brought for delivery. GE's customer service hasn't been helpful. What should my next steps be?

Hello, my name is Mark L. I bought a GE refrigerator with a bottom-loaded freezer from Spensor Appliances in Scottsdale, Arizona in May [redacted]. The freezer handle keeps falling off, and it is still under warranty. I've had two different GE-authorized repair organizations out to my house four times, but the last repair person couldn't fix it and suggested I contact GE customer relations. I have two case numbers: [redacted]7 and [redacted]6. It seems that the refrigerator is defective, and I need GE to either fix the issue, replace the refrigerator, or reimburse me for my expenses and purchase a similar model from a competitor. My phone number is [redacted]. The model number is GNE27JYMTFFS, and the serial number is DT333175. I am very dissatisfied with this ongoing problem, and I hope for a resolution soon.

I purchased a Hot Point washing machine in September [redacted], and by October [redacted], it stopped changing cycles. I had to pay $80.00 for a repair technician to investigate. They identified that either the lock for $60.00 or the control board costing $[redacted].00 need to be replaced, in addition to a $[redacted].00 labor fee. I am extremely disappointed with this situation. Having spent over $[redacted].00 on the machine and it breaking down within a year is frustrating. As someone working two jobs to make ends meet, I cannot afford these unexpected expenses. I am hoping for a resolution to this issue. Thank you, S. L.

I purchased a GE microwave along with the JX7227SLSS trim kit from Home Depot. After my husband discovered a dent in the trim kit upon opening it, he proceeded to install it. Despite the imperfection, I accepted it. Unfortunately, the microwave door now gets stuck when opening due to interference with the trim kit, even though it appears flawless from the outside. Researching online revealed others facing a similar problem, with GE acknowledging it as a defect and providing a replacement. How should I proceed in resolving this issue?

I purchased a GE dryer on June 28, and it stopped heating after only three months without much use. I had to go through a third-party service which caused delays in fixing the issue. The technician finally came on October 20 and now says a gas valve needs to be ordered, pushing back the repair appointment to November 7. I believe we shouldn't have to deal with this on a new dryer and that it should be replaced. We've been without a dryer for over a month, resulting in additional costs for laundry and travel. I spent over an hour online trying to get help, with no luck. I would appreciate a call back to address this frustrating situation.

I own a GE Profile oven with Model # JGB720EEJ1ES and Serial # TG222755P, which will be 6 years old in December. Despite having an expired extended warranty since last December, I am facing an issue with the paint around the oven window bubbling and rusting. This problem is unique as I have never encountered such an issue with GE appliances before. The oven is in black slate color, and I have photos to document the problem. If left unaddressed, the paint will eventually peel and make the oven look unsightly. Thank you, Theresa D.

I recently purchased a new washer and dryer as my old washer was malfunctioning, and now my dryer is not drying clothes properly. I contacted Lowe's about a repair, and they scheduled appointments for me. Unfortunately, there have been delays leading to inconvenience and time off work. I am worried about the impact on my laundry schedule and hoping for a resolution soon. If the dryer cannot be replaced, I am wondering if there is a possibility of reimbursement for the inconvenience and time wasted. Thank you.

My 4-month-old GE Cafe French door refrigerator stopped working two days ago. After pleading with GE, a repairman came today. My refrigerator requires a new compressor, which is unacceptable for its age. I had to discard $[redacted] worth of fresh and frozen items. GE only offered $[redacted] in compensation and a small refrigerator until mine is fixed, which will take 7-10 days. I purchased the refrigerator for $[redacted] just 4 months ago. This resolution is unsatisfactory. I plan to file complaints and share negative reviews widely. Despite four phone calls, it seems the company is indifferent to losing my business. I intend to share my experience with the [redacted] apartments in our building. The current policies make your company unworthy of my business or that of others I know. I expect a new refrigerator and better compensation for my losses. - A.H.

I purchased a brand new GE fridge model #GFE28GYNGFS from Lowes over a month ago. Unfortunately, it stopped working last Monday due to a faulty compressor. Since then, our food has spoiled, and we've had to eat out for the past 8 days. The technician is coming tomorrow, making it a total of 9 days of inconvenience. Eating out daily is expensive, and it's been a financial hardship for us. We're not well off, and this situation is causing us financial strain, especially with the holidays approaching. I'm seeking reimbursement for the loss of groceries and the expenses of eating out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. We're struggling, and any help to resolve this situation would be sincerely appreciated.

Hello, I would like to share my experience with ordering GE appliances for our new house. We initially ordered black slate appliances in September [redacted], but encountered multiple issues with discontinued products. Subsequent replacements also faced availability problems. The latest oven we received, although possibly an upgrade, was not our initial choice. Our gas cooktop in black glass also faced availability issues in [redacted]. The downdraft for the cooktop had issues with its operation shortly after installation. Various parts replacements were made, but the downdraft still does not function properly. I have been waiting for a part for about a month now, and I need a fully functional cooktop for the upcoming holidays. I urge for a timely resolution to this matter and would appreciate a callback to discuss installing a new downdraft. Thank you, Christine C.

I bought a GE 27.8 cu ft. French Door Refrigerator in Slate (Model# GFE28GMKES) on 8/28/21, but it was only delivered in November [redacted] when my house was not yet ready for appliances, so it was placed in my garage. I was unable to use it until Feb. [redacted]. Unfortunately, on Saturday (11/12/22), it suddenly stopped working and spoiled all the food in the fridge and freezer, including items prepared for our family Thanksgiving. This setback occurred while I was away until Sunday evening. After reaching out to Home Depot and GE, a service technician came on 11/16/22 and identified issues with the compressor and relay. I am disappointed to have lost over $[redacted] worth of food and frustrated that I have to wait for parts to be ordered and another appointment scheduled for the repairs. The appliance is not even a year old, and I believe a replacement is warranted. I kindly request prompt assistance. Thank you.

I purchased a GE washer in April [redacted], which broke down in July and was out of service for three weeks. Despite multiple service calls and days off work, it started malfunctioning again after two months. It has now been non-functional for two weeks. During the recent repair visit, the technician reset a computer but did not test the appliance before leaving. They can only schedule a follow-up in the middle of December. The repairman blamed us for choosing a subpar GE product and suggested buying something else. I am frustrated and disappointed with this experience. I no longer want the washer fixed; instead, I would like a refund to purchase a different brand, as recommended by the technician. I feel compelled to warn others about the poor quality of GE appliances and their declining service standards.

We moved into a new home in September [redacted], with appliances purchased by the builder. After facing issues with the builder and resolving them with legal assistance by June 1, [redacted], I contacted GE regarding a noisy microwave, damaged dishwasher door, and a GE refrigerator GSS25GMHRCES, GS [redacted] that keeps freezing fresh food. Fred's Appliances, arranged by GE, attempted to address these concerns; however, the microwave still produces noise, the dishwasher door was replaced, and the refrigerator continues to freeze fresh food. Two technicians visited three times, highlighting a design flaw in the refrigerator where food freezes unless kept three inches away from the back wall. I've been corresponding with Cassie from GE and Fred's Appliances but haven't found a satisfactory resolution. I am seeking help to replace this faulty refrigerator in Kalispell, Montana, with a better design to have a fully operational unit. The solutions offered so far - driving to Idaho for a different model or a $[redacted] coupon - are unsatisfactory. I am willing to pay the price difference for a fully functional refrigerator. If this matter is not resolved suitably, I will reconsider future purchases of GE appliances. Thank you, Glynis P.

I purchased a washer and dryer in September and had it installed by a service technician. Sadly, it leaked and damaged my ceiling. It took two weeks for GE to send a repairman who discovered a factory error. I contacted GE's insurance company SEDWICK for a claim, but have had no luck reaching them for over five weeks. They promised the adjuster would call, but I'm still waiting. This situation is frustrating, as I had to spend $[redacted] to repair my ceiling due to a $[redacted] washer. Please, I urge someone to get in touch with me regarding this matter.
