We recently moved into a new house in September. The builder provided appliances that have been causing problems. After dealing with building issues and hiring an attorney, I could finally focus on the appliance problems in June. I reached out to GE about a noisy microwave, a damaged dishwasher door, and a GE refrigerator GSS**GMHRCES that freezes fresh food despite regular settings. Fred's Appliances, sent by GE, tried to fix these issues. The microwave still makes noise, the dishwasher door was replaced, but the refrigerator still freezes food. Technicians explained it's a design flaw and advised leaving food away from the back. I've tried to resolve this since June without success. I'm seeking help to replace this faulty refrigerator with a different design. Cassie from GE suggested options that are not acceptable. I'm willing to pay the difference for a functional refrigerator and hope for a fair resolution. Glynis P.

I purchased a new cafe fridge, but after less than two months, it stopped working. It took a week to schedule a service visit, and two weeks later, the repair person diagnosed a major issue with the compressor or pipes, stating it was a significant repair. They recommended trying to get a replacement instead. However, after waiting for a report, we were only told that parts were on the way for a repair. I explained the urgency due to asthma concerns, but have had no luck. Despite efforts, the customer service representative I spoke with, Juan, did not follow up as promised. Now, after three weeks without a working fridge, they claim there are no parts available. This situation has left us frustrated as we paid $[redacted] for a non-functional fridge and feel stuck with no resolution in sight.

We purchased a GE stove (Model: CC2S950P2MS1, Serial: AT545688) on Nov 4th. Unfortunately, both ovens are not working. After contacting GE and a local servicing company recommended by them, we have been waiting for over three weeks for a repair. Despite being assured a part would be ordered, there has been no progress. Furthermore, two stove burners are also malfunctioning. Despite leaving messages for the GE service manager, we have received no updates or assistance. We are extremely disappointed and frustrated with this situation and demand a replacement stove urgently. If not resolved promptly, we will file a formal complaint against GE.

We have been dealing with a broken refrigerator since November 12, [redacted], which we bought brand new. Despite being informed that a replacement was ready for the past 3 days, the delivery did not happen today as scheduled because the company had an outdated phone number on file. This has led us to spend significant amounts on food due to the inability to refrigerate it properly. Despite a previous $[redacted] refund for a temporary refrigerator, it has not been enough for our family's needs. As a diabetic, I had to buy new medication and food due to the unexpected refrigerator breakdown. I have contacted Felecia requesting reimbursement for expenses such as food, ice, medication, and inconvenience but was only offered a warranty extension, which we do not need. We are long-time GE customers who are very disappointed with the handling of our situation. It has been almost two months without a working refrigerator, and the lack of communication and solution is frustrating.

We have a GE Profile PFCS1RKZH refrigerator that we purchased along with our kitchen appliances about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, it has been giving us a lot of trouble, requiring multiple repairs on the motherboard and various components like the compressor power inverter, condensing fan, and evaporator fan. Lately, it has been getting stuck in defrost mode for long periods. Despite ordering a new fridge, we decided to hold off as this one matches all our other appliances. Our service technician is scheduled to replace the compressor on January 4th, but we're concerned that the issue might be related to a bad defrost thermostat or defrost heater instead. We appreciate the technician's efforts to keep the repair cost reasonable, but we feel frustrated by the recurring issues with our refrigerator and the lack of clear communication with GE customer service.

I own a GE appliance with 4 out of 5 broken valves. I was scheduled for a repair on December 21st, but the valves are currently on backorder. I've been transferred to your department three times, placed on hold for an hour, only to have the call disconnected. I can't go through another holiday without being able to cook. Additionally, your technician turned off my stove due to a gas leak in my house.

I purchased the Cafe 36" refrigerator model CYE22TP2MKS1 from Home Depot based on the online specification sheet, but upon installation, I discovered that the doors do not open as expected due to a misrepresentation in the product dimensions. I have reached out to GE and Home Depot for assistance but have not received a satisfactory resolution. I am seeking a Consumer Relations case be opened to return the refrigerator for a credit to purchase a different model that will fit in my kitchen space. I am disappointed in the handling of this issue and hope for a prompt resolution.

I bought a small log cabin from Green River Log Cabins and received it on October 5, [redacted]. There was no propane connection for the GE stove that came with it. The model is JGBS61RP2SS; Serial number is MT148553P. When I connected the stove to the propane tank in December, the front right burner didn't burn properly. The flame was uneven and wouldn't reach full heat. Additionally, when using the oven, flames shot up inside, making it unusable. After several failed attempts to resolve this with the seller, I was told to contact GE myself. I need help getting it repaired or replaced so I can rent out the cabin. Thank you. - Bill M. My spouse and I bought a GE washer, model # GTW335ASN2WW, from Lowes in Charlottesville, VA, on December 5, [redacted], and it was delivered on December 8. Unfortunately, the washer turned out to be faulty, a fact we discovered after a few days when we noticed it only filled to the lowest water level. Despite visiting Lowes twice, we were never informed of their 48-hour return policy for appliances. After contacting GE customer service, a technician from Fuller's Appliance and Repair found two defective parts, including the motherboard, on December 29. However, one of the parts is on backorder until February 13, causing significant inconvenience. We are disappointed in both the GE product and Lowes' return policy and believe a store credit or a replacement washer would be fair compensation to maintain customer satisfaction. James H. I recently purchased a new Profile range, and unfortunately, the rack in the upper oven/airfryer doesn't fit properly. It jams when I try to insert it completely, hindering the oven door from closing. Despite having the upgraded non-tarnishing black coated rack with handles, I encountered issues. I visited Best Buy, where I bought the range, and although the display oven had stainless racks, they couldn't exchange it. However, when attempting to fit the rack into the display oven, it presented the same problem. Interestingly, the rack doesn't fit in the lower oven, but the lower oven's racks fit in the upper oven. It appears there may be a manufacturing flaw in the rack, possibly due to inaccurate welding of the support wires to the frame. Despite seeking a resolution since February 20th, I haven't found a satisfactory solution. Upon researching online reviews, it seems like the fit issue is widespread. As a customer, this situation is both frustrating and disappointing. The range model is PS960YP6FS S/N VT122025Q.

I have reached out to geholidaylighting.com support five times from 11/26/[redacted] to 12/20/[redacted] regarding four sets of GE StayBright [redacted] LED C-6 lights with a 3-year warranty. Despite receiving an automated response acknowledging my contact, I have not heard back from the customer support team. I am experiencing issues with some of the lights in the strings purchased from Big Lots, as they are not compatible with the replacement bulbs from geholidaylighting.com due to differences in bulb size and tab presence on the base. I would like to request a refund for the 4 strings and return the C-6 replacement bulbs. My order number for the replacement bulbs is ORDER CTO-[redacted]. I have the sales receipt and can provide further details. Thank you for your assistance, Jimmy Butcher.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the quality of my GE Profile countertop microwave. Purchased new for over $[redacted] in April 23, [redacted], it was part of a set with my refrigerator, dishwasher, and Cafe stove. However, I was shocked when in November [redacted], the microwave started emitting sparks whenever used, even with just water in non-metal containers. Disappointed that a high-priced product failed in less than 3 years, it became unsafe to use.
Having never had to replace a microwave prematurely, I'm frustrated with this experience. Despite switching to GE after years of using KitchenAid and Whirlpool, this incident makes me question the reliability of GE appliances. If any of my other recently purchased GE appliances face similar issues before reaching 5 to 10 years old, my trust in the brand will diminish, and I will reconsider future purchases from GE.
The lack of durability in a product of this caliber is concerning, especially given regular and gentle use.

I bought a GE dishwasher Model #GDT565SSNSS from Jensen Beach Fl. Home Depot on Feb. 24, [redacted], together with other GE appliances. I only used the dishwasher in Nov. [redacted] when my family visited. There was water on the floor the next morning, indicating a problem. A handyman found a faulty part and GE agreed to send a repairman. Despite two visits and multiple parts, they cannot replace the dishwasher but keep sending parts for a third visit. This unexpected and indifferent treatment from GE disappoints me as a loyal customer. I hope for a resolution soon. - Pat Ski, Email: [redacted]

I bought a clothes washer, model #GTW525ACP0WB, with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. On January 25, [redacted], the motor was replaced. Last Friday, February 3, [redacted], the washer malfunctioned by not advancing after filling with water. I requested warranty service, and today, February 6, [redacted], the technician found a defective control board and informed me that parts are not available, scheduling a return visit for March 1, [redacted]. I am disappointed because the selling point was its "commercial grade" quality, but now it feels more like "useless grade." I'll have to go to a laundromat 10 miles away in the meantime. Can you help find the board or provide a replacement washer? I have all the necessary documents to support my claim.

I had an appointment for my GE dishwasher not heating at 17 Mt Vernon Street, Dorchester MA [redacted]. The technician diagnosed a pump issue, but I doubted it, thinking it might be the heating element instead. Despite replacing the pump, my dishes still don't dry. I paid $[redacted].23 and am now requesting a refund of $[redacted].12 or for the heating element to be installed once it arrives. The technician, Gene, completed the job on 1/30/23 and was unresponsive to my concerns afterward. When I called today, the staff agreed the heating element might be needed but was unavailable. I managed to order the part myself from Sears.com due to the unsatisfactory service. Additionally, waiting 49 minutes on hold to address this matter was highly inconvenient and frustrating.

I own a 4-year-old GE Dryer, Model: GFD45ESSM1WW, SN: MM895157C. On February 6, [redacted], a GE repair representative diagnosed the issue as a broken drum belt. The repair was initially set for February 22, but I received an automated call delaying it due to parts availability, with no clear rescheduled date. After contacting GE service, I was informed the parts might arrive on March 24, six weeks after diagnosis. Despite being able to source the parts myself, GE will not schedule until they confirm they are "GE Genuine." This process has left me facing a two-month wait for a repair that costs 40% of a new dryer, along with added expenses and inconvenience. As a loyal GE customer who worked at GE in Louisville, KY, I find this service delay disappointing and not in line with my expectations. I am seeking either an expedited repair or reimbursement for the expenses incurred.

I recently purchased a GE Profile double wall oven with an upper oven/microwave for my new home on 10/17/22. Unfortunately, the microwave started making a loud buzzing sound last week. After two appointments with GE technicians, including one today (2/20) where they replaced the "mag," the issue persists. It's frustrating to deal with this on such a new and expensive appliance. Another technician is scheduled to come out this Saturday to address the recurring problem. I'm hoping for a permanent solution as this should not be happening within less than six months of use on a product that cost over $4k.

I have been waiting for two weeks for a technician to install the motherboard on our combination microwave and oven. Even though I was scheduled for today and took the afternoon off to ensure I was home, the tech informed me just before 5:00 p.m. that he wouldn't be able to make it. He mentioned being new and overwhelmed due to lack of training and a previous job that took longer than expected. When I called customer service, the supervisor, Molly, refused to provide her last name or contact number, giving me only the employee number LH20904. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the situation. If this isn't resolved promptly, I am considering sharing my negative experience on social media to shed light on the unprofessional treatment I have received.

I contacted your company for my GE Refrigerator that suddenly stopped working, specifically the control panel lights. On January 13, [redacted], I paid $[redacted].61 for service. Unfortunately, the first technician ordered incorrect parts, leading to a month's delay. After waiting for the correct parts to arrive, my appointment on January 23 had to be rescheduled. During the following appointment on January 31, the second technician discovered the wrong parts had been ordered by the first technician, causing further delays. By March, the correct parts finally arrived, but by then, all my food had spoiled, costing me a significant amount and forcing me to seek help from a food pantry for my grandchildren. Despite paying upfront, I have yet to receive the help needed to fix my refrigerator, leaving me frustrated and disappointed with the lack of service provided.

We purchased a GE Profile oven at the end of [redacted] for our new home. After only using it twice, we had to request warranty repairs. The process took over 4 months due to delays in getting a callback, unscheduled appointments, and multiple part replacements attempted by the technicians. Ultimately, GE Appliances replaced the unit. Upon attempting to install the new oven, we discovered a defect where the front control panel was slightly shifted to the left by about 1/8 of an inch, preventing the oven from fitting properly in the counter space. Despite contacting GE Appliances and scheduling a technician, the technician refused to come, advising me to request a GE tech. I've been on hold for 45 minutes and counting, struggling to reach a resolution with the company. I am seeking assistance from someone who can help me resolve this issue promptly.
