Despite being home all morning, the technician did not arrive within the specified time frame, causing frustration as the website did not reflect the technician's location accurately. The technician claimed to have come, but there was no evidence. Furthermore, I was asked to provide proof of purchase, adding to the inconvenience. This experience has been disappointing and regrettable, affecting my ability to use my kitchen effectively.

Please contact GE Consumer Relations at 1[redacted] regarding tickets #[redacted]69 and #[redacted]. I contacted GE for repair services for my dishwasher and refrigerator scheduled for 6-13-22 (ticket #[redacted]69). The GE technician did not show up and falsely claimed to have visited while I was not home. Our community Front Gate Guards have no record of GE visiting. When checking the GE webpage, the service appointment was canceled. Despite promises to send a technician on 6-16-22, the person who arrived in the afternoon was unprofessional and claimed the products were discontinued and could not be fixed, yet still charged $[redacted].95. I discovered there are no GE technicians available in my area. Additionally, I ordered a GE water filter (ticket #[redacted]) that was allegedly delivered on 6-11-22, but there is no tracking information. I am extremely disappointed and stressed by these events. Three days after moving into our new home on March 25, [redacted], our 48” Sub-Zero built-in Café refrigerator stopped cooling, just two weeks after installation. The dealer's service team found a freon leak and advised GE would need to send a repair person. After contacting GE, Case number [redacted]1 was assigned, and our case manager, Tina, informed us that due to GE not servicing our area and no available inventory for a replacement, the only option was a buyback. We preferred staying with the Café line, so we ordered the same refrigerator from Appliance Connections. They estimated delivery around June 6, [redacted], but it's now delayed until approximately August 8, [redacted]. We question why GE couldn't offer a replacement instead of a buyback when these units are still being produced, and we're curious if we could receive a replacement at the dealer's price to cancel the Appliance Connections order.

We bought a GE washing machine on April 9, [redacted]. On December [redacted], a technician came to fix a balancing issue under warranty. However, in April [redacted], the same problem recurred (now out of warranty). We paid $[redacted].04 for the repair and bought a one-year warranty for $54.30 on April 7, [redacted]. Today, the technician said the tub and bleach cup needed replacing for $[redacted].14. We declined and were asked to pay a $[redacted].07 diagnostic fee, which we also refused. The machine, just 3 years old, should not require further payment. We are loyal GE customers, both being 73-year-old senior citizens who have always chosen GE appliances. The machine is used by two people, so it's not overloaded to cause such imbalance.

After being on hold for more than three hours, I finally reached a representative who listened to our issue regarding the compressor failure on our new Profile refrigerator. Still awaiting a call back from our community relations team to determine if GE will replace our fridge with a Profile model using Freon instead of R600A. If this isn't possible, a refund is preferred to switch to a more reputable brand. Numerous complaints online point to issues with this particular fridge, leading to concerns for a recall. The compressor failure has resulted in over five hundred dollars' worth of food loss and almost caused damage to our new hardwood flooring due to water leakage from the freezer malfunction. These circumstances are entirely unacceptable.

For the past four months, my dryer has been out of service, and there seems to be an issue locating it at the warehouse. Despite numerous daily calls for a replacement, I keep being assured that I will receive a call the next day, which never happens. The wait times on the phone have been extensive, with 57 minutes yesterday and 43 minutes the day before. A service technician ordered a replacement motherboard in May to be fitted in July, but I was informed that no replacement motherboards are available in the entire United States, even though new dryers with functioning motherboards can be purchased locally. After GE missed my scheduled July service appointment without any notification, customer relations are hesitant to provide a replacement until the warehouse confirms the missing dryer's status. This has put me in a frustrating predicament where I am unable to get a new dryer due to the warehouse's inability to locate it, and customer relations seem reluctant to accept this fact. As a result, I've been left without a dryer for four and a half months, even though I had to purchase a new one for the new owners of my sold house. While offered a meager $75 as compensation, my primary request is simply to receive a functional replacement dryer promptly. I plan to share my disappointing experience with GE unless this matter is resolved promptly by delivering a new dryer to my current residence.

I have been struggling to have my 10-month-old GE washer serviced by GE since June 26, [redacted]. I recently bought 4 GE appliances at Quality Appliance in Mankato, Minnesota. Unfortunately, the ice maker in the fridge I received wasn't working. The technician who came to fix it wasn't approved by GE, and now I haven't heard back from the company for about 2 months. I purchased an air conditioner from Lowe's on August 27th, [redacted], and have the receipt as proof of purchase. Although there seems to be no record of the transaction, I can provide the receipt for verification. The issue with the unit is that it no longer effectively cools the house. Instead, it only blows air, leading to ice buildup on the coils, which the fan then blows out as cool air. I would appreciate it if a technician could come to our location to attempt a repair or address the problem. I have already spoken with two technicians and a GE factory representative, who all recommended getting in touch with you to have this matter resolved.

I've been trying to contact Consumer Relations without success. When we renovated our kitchen, we selected all GE appliances: refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher. All are functioning well except the dishwasher, which has racks deteriorating due to a poor coating quality. The issue has worsened over the years, and now both racks need replacement. Despite the dishwasher being out of warranty and only being six years old, both racks need replacing. In our 30 years of owning dishwashers, this is only the third one we've had, and we've never encountered this problem before. Water quality isn't the issue, verified periodically by Penn State. The cost to replace both racks is over $[redacted]. I'm inquiring about any recalls or if there's a possibility of receiving a discount on the parts, as I suspect a quality concern with the rack coating.

I bought a washer on July 22, [redacted], and it was delivered on August 9, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the washer is not working and is damaged. Despite numerous calls to GE, I have not received a callback after confirming they received the pictures of the damage on August 23, [redacted]. The lack of communication has made the experience of getting a replacement very difficult. I just want to either return the appliance or be reimbursed for the time and money spent at the laundromat for the past 5 weeks while waiting for a replacement. It's frustrating to deal with this situation, and I believe it's not unreasonable to ask for some compensation to make up for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

I am dissatisfied with the warranty service provided by a 3rd party for my dishwasher repairs. There were several issues such as incorrect parts being ordered, multiple trips required for repairs, and parts left on the floor during the process. The dishwasher has been leaking and the original defect was identified as a faulty pump system. Despite efforts to contact Consumer Relations, it has been challenging to resolve these issues. The closest retailer where the unit was purchased, Lowe's in Louisville, CO, is now out of business. I have the original receipt and the GE service records reflect the correct address. However, the automated system does not. The repairs were delayed due to wrong parts being delivered and rescheduling by the technician. Even after the repairs, the defects were not fully resolved during the COVID lockdowns. To A&E, This morning when the technician, Mike, called, I informed him not to return. He had already been here twice and claimed there's no issue with the refrigerator's function. I requested not to have him sent again as he offered no solution. Despite this, he called today, and I reiterated my stance. I reached out to AEP, asking not to send the GE service man, Mike, for the third time. The representative, kindly understanding, promised to escalate my case to the Product Quality Engineer Department. I expressed my frustration at the repeated futile visits and phone calls, reiterating that I won't accept a faulty refrigerator. I hope conveying this message to Product Quality Control will lead to a resolution. I have not requested a replacement but only a functional fix.
