I renovated our kitchen in November [redacted] and had 5 GE appliances, including a wall oven with model number JT5000SF6SS and serial number TL060523Q, installed. Since installation, the oven has shown an error code pf 76 about four times. To reset it, I've had to cut off the power at the box for around 5 minutes before turning it back on. Recently, when it displayed pf 76, smoke began coming out from behind the control panel. Thankfully, I was home to turn off the power, or it could have been a serious fire hazard. I'm concerned about what happened and wonder if this is a common issue with this model. I'm unsure whether it's safe to repair it or if the same problem might occur again. I have been attempting to get my microwave repaired for over a month now. The model number is PVM9179SK4SS and the serial number is AR215418B. On 8/26, Residential Tech Services was notified, and a technician was sent on 9/1. The fan below the microwave only operates at one speed instead of the intended three speeds. The technician consulted GE Tech Support and determined that the fan motor assembly part number WB5UX27048 was needed. On 9/17, the same technician delivered the part but discovered it couldn't be installed without dropping the unit to access the housing. The technicians deemed the unit was wrongly installed and refused to correct it, directing me to the installers at Howards Appliances where I purchased the unit on March 8, [redacted]. I have contacted GE Service multiple times, explaining the issue each time, and have been transferred to Customer Relations with long wait times and no callbacks. I hope to resolve this matter without incurring additional costs.

I bought a GE dishwasher, model GDF520PSJOSS, on 8/8/[redacted]. The pump stopped working, and I was told GE no longer makes the part. I've been a loyal GE customer and expect better. I believe a dishwasher should last longer than two years. I am looking for a resolution. I have my eye on model GDF570SSJSS as a replacement, pending your response. Thank you for your assistance.

My 3-year-old GE Profile double electric wall oven ceased functioning over a month ago. After the GE service visit, parts were ordered and delivered, but it turned out they were not needed. Temporary repairs lasted for two days before failing again. Additional parts were ordered, but now the delivery has been delayed until late October, leaving me without an oven for over 2 months.
Please assist with this situation. I have a large family, and I had to buy two toaster ovens to use while waiting for the repairs. Over the past year, I have purchased various GE appliances, including a refrigerator, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and microwave.

I own three homes with GE appliances, expecting good service when I called for a repair on a leaking Cafe refrigerator damaging my kitchen floor. Despite being told the earliest appointment was in 3 weeks, I had to reach out to an outside vendor for an emergency repair costing $[redacted]. Disappointed that GE did not provide any recommendations, I feel let down by the lack of customer care. I have been trying to reach customer relations for three days without success. I recently bought a GE Profile Convection Microwave Model PEB9159SJSS from Best Buy at the price of $[redacted] on 7/14/20. It was installed on 7/23 but unfortunately stopped working on 9/10/20. Since it was outside the 15-day return policy, I contacted GE for warranty service. A technician came out on 9/14 and diagnosed a thermostat issue, replacing the part on 9/24. However, this did not resolve the problem, and now they are looking into replacing the circuit board.
Despite multiple attempts to contact GE Customer Relations, I have been unable to connect with a representative due to issues with the automated system. This experience has made me lose confidence in a company whose products I have been loyal to for over 30 years. I would like the microwave to be replaced with a new unit. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my Haier refrigerator model HEBF100BXS. After contacting the store where I purchased it, a repair technician inspected it and found the compressor to be noisy and not cooling properly. As parts for the repair were unavailable, I was informed by GE that they would replace the refrigerator under warranty. I was advised I would receive a call within 48 hours to arrange delivery, but it has been 10 days without contact. I am sharing the timeline of events leading up to the repair of my oven to highlight the delays and lack of urgency in the process:
- August 10th: Informed a new part would arrive on Aug 14/15 and technician scheduled for the 17th.
- August 19th: Promised technician for Aug 20th, only to find out the part was delayed until Sept 2nd with no prior notice.
- September 3rd: Assured the part shipped and would arrive soon, but on September 10th, discovered it was still on backorder with incorrect tracking information.
- September 10th: Updated to a new estimated arrival date of September 25th after multiple calls and inquiries.
- September 28th: Part confirmed in stock, set to ship on Sept 30th arriving in 5-7 business days, with the option to escalate if not received by the 9th.
The frustrating delays have amounted to almost 8 weeks of waiting, with a disappointing 3-day shipping time from the warehouse followed by another week or more for delivery.

I had a service appointment with GE for my washer under warranty. A technician came on 8/27/20, supposedly fixed the issue, but the problem persisted. Attempts to contact the tech at [redacted] were unsuccessful. Despite GE acknowledging the ticket was open, attempts to schedule a follow-up were unsuccessful. The tech did not show up as promised. Communications with him were fruitless as his voicemail was full. After multiple calls to GE’s [redacted] number, I was told to expect a callback in 1 to 2 days, which did not happen. After a frustrating experience with Karla and a failed transfer to customer relations, I was left on hold for an hour and 45 minutes. Another call on 9/30/20 resulted in being told customer relations were closed that day, leading to more frustration.

On September 2, I had a service call to fix the start button on my washer. A part needed to be ordered, and a follow-up visit was scheduled for September 10. This appointment was canceled due to difficulty obtaining the part. After the part arrived, another service call was scheduled for September 22. Despite receiving a confirmation text the night before, the repairman did not show up or communicate. Customer Service was unable to explain the situation, and another appointment was set for September 28. Once again, the repairman did not arrive, and I contacted Customer Service to no avail. This pattern continued with appointments on September 29 and October 8. I reached out to Customer Relations on September 30, but the long wait led me to give up. As a dedicated GE customer of over 20 years, I have been disappointed by the service provided. I have faced inconvenience and financial loss due to the repeated failures to repair my washer. I hope that my upcoming appointment on October 8 will be honored without further issues, and I believe that not being charged for the part would be a fair resolution given the circumstances.

I had an appointment booked for my dishwasher, purchased in April [redacted], due to a jammed door that now slams down when I try to open it. Despite calling GE Service Support on 9/16/[redacted] to report the issue, I had to wait 10 days for a service call appointment for my new dishwasher. When the technician assigned to me didn't show up or notify me, I called GE Customer Service, only to find they had trouble reaching the servicing company too. Despite trying to call GE Consumer Relations multiple times, I faced long holds and no resolution. I finally rescheduled my service appointment for two weeks later, but the lack of process and communication from GE has left me extremely disappointed as a long-time consumer. I hope my next appointment is honored and that GE improves their customer service approach significantly.

We bought your washing machine in February [redacted]. Shortly after, it started having issues with spinning out all the water, leaving clothes wet. Home Depot refused to take it back, so we pursued a warranty repair. In August [redacted], a technician visited and ordered parts. Despite multiple attempts, the full set of parts didn't arrive for the September repair appointment. After struggling to get the correct parts and being hung up on, we finally received them. When we tried to schedule the repair, we were told the parts were incorrect, and the call was abruptly ended. Our attempts to resolve this with GE resulted in unhelpful responses and being laughed at before being disconnected. We are frustrated with the machine and the repair process and would like it to be taken back as it's challenging to do laundry efficiently.

I was contacted by a GE support specialist at 2:39 PM mountain time on 10/5/[redacted] at [redacted] regarding a service call for the decal peeling up on my fridge crisper drawer. During the call, I explained the issue with the decal on the crisper drawer, mentioning the LEDs on the right side not staying attached. The specialist insisted that the crisper drawer does not have LEDs and that the LEDs are on the side of the fridge. After a disagreement, I offered to send a picture, but she declined. I had a service appointment on September 11th. My new (1 1/2 year old) GE Oven caught on fire, and the technician ordered a heating element (Product# WB26X10193). Despite being told it would be shipped on September 23rd, I've now been informed it's on backorder until November. This news is frustrating as I have no oven, especially with the holidays approaching. My original Confirmation # is [redacted]34. I purchased the FUF17DLRDWW Serial #GR590816 freezer on July 17th. Despite having 4 service visits, the freezer has not reached freezing temperature. I have had my new GE dryer repaired four times by the same technician from GE. Today, he was here and suggested ordering parts again, but also mentioned that I should consider an exchange because my dryer seems to be a lemon. This recurring issue has occurred four times during his visits. Two other GE technicians have previously come out for separate problems as well. The technician who was here today has promised to escalate the matter to the Consumer Relations department and recommend exchanging my dryer for a new one. I purchased the dryer this May [redacted], and it is still under warranty. Being in California, there are consumer protection laws, like the lemon law, that cover such situations. I've tried contacting Customer Relations five times since last Wednesday without success; spending over four hours on hold. Our "new" refrigerator leaks from the dispenser, leaving hard water stains on it and the front of the fridge. The repairman mentioned that the frequent issues are due to the missing reservoir found in larger fridges. Our previous GE fridge lasted almost twenty years with minimal problems. However, this current one has had more issues in under a year than the previous one had in almost two decades. The ice bin is now breaking off plastic pieces while dispensing, a problem that took 18 years to occur in the old fridge. I would appreciate it if you could exchange this unreliable fridge for a more dependable model, even if I need to pay the difference. I've always been loyal to GE refrigerators, but the ongoing problems with this one have been frustrating. I'm hoping for a resolution as I've faced difficulties trying to reach Customer Relations for support.
