I have a second technician scheduled to repair my new refrigerator's defective ice maker in the freezer. When I contacted consumer relations regarding the upcoming appointment, I encountered a manager who was quite rude and unaccommodating. Despite the known issue with the ice maker, the manager explained that technicians do not carry parts on their trucks, leading to the need for a new appointment with another technician. The interaction left me frustrated as a simple solution like contacting the technician to bring a new ice maker could have saved me another day of waiting. The customer service experience has been disappointing, and as a result, I won't be recommending GE to my friends.

My 2-month-old appliance suddenly stopped working when I was baking French fries. The circuit boards were unavailable due to backorder, and a new unit was indefinitely out of stock, leading to a refund. I ended up buying the same model from a nearby seller, but it cost $[redacted] more. On September 10, [redacted], my spouse and I purchased a new GE 27" wall oven Model # JKS3000SNSS at Best Buy in Humble, TX. The oven, S/N LM041965Q, was installed at our residence at [redacted] Rustic Woods Dr, Kingwood, TX on September 18, [redacted]. Initially functioning well, after three to four months, the control panel became unresponsive despite the clock working. Following several cycles of power off, then on, the oven functioned briefly before the touch screen malfunctioned again. GE sent technicians who checked connections, replaced the touch panel, suspected and then replaced the motherboard and wiring harness. Currently, though the touch panel functions, the oven does not heat up after being powered on. After the last repair visit, it was discovered that the power wires were not correctly connected to the motherboard. Although the oven seems to lack a working wire connection, even after multiple service calls, the issue persists.

On April 23rd, a repair agent visited my home to fix the GE oven/microwave unit that was not heating properly and had a repeated light bulb issue. After paying on site, all seemed well. Recently, the light bulb burned out again, prompting me to contact the GE office. They scheduled a free check for July 14th. Unfortunately, I was at a doctor's appointment when the repairman arrived. He only replaced the light bulb and charged $[redacted].36, which was unexpected. My wife, who has a heart condition, was upset by the experience. The repairman, Checo, insisted on immediate payment by WIFI or check, which was unreasonable. If not refunded promptly, I will take further action. I have unsuccessfully tried calling the office multiple times using different numbers without success. The repairman’s claim that light bulbs only last 30 days is dubious. On May 13th, I opened Case #[redacted]96 due to my freezer door not sealing correctly. Despite a recall a week later, the freezer is still not maintaining temperature and the fan runs continuously. Now, I have a new case #[redacted]32 from July 22nd as the freezer is still not holding the correct temperature, hovering around 13 degrees. Due to dealing with my mom's lung cancer since May, I could not address this sooner. Given the ongoing nature of the issue, I am requesting the service fee be waived. I purchased a refrigerator in January, and by mid-February, I noticed my ice cream wasn't freezing properly. After contacting GE for service, a technician from Chambers Service, the service provider in my area, has been out four times. Unfortunately, the issue persists and my food is spoiling faster than it should, not meeting FDA guidelines for proper storage. The refrigerator has been diagnosed with several problems, including a bad control board and a potential refrigerant leak. This has caused great inconvenience as I've had to take time off work for these appointments. Given the ongoing issues, I am requesting a replacement unit rather than continued repairs to a fridge I am still paying off. Additionally, I am disappointed that none of the service men wore masks during their visits, which is concerning for health and safety reasons.

I bought a microwave from Lowe's on 11-11-[redacted], but it was manufactured on 05-[redacted]. The model number is JES2051SN4SS, with serial number [redacted]1, and I paid $[redacted].62 for it. The microwave caught fire inside on 07/18/[redacted]. After contacting Customer Service and being directed to Customer Relations, I was given case #[redacted]1. I was instructed to email a photo of the invoice but have not received any follow-up in three days. Despite leaving my phone number, I haven't received a call back and can't hold on the phone all day. This is the third GE Microwave we've had issues with recently. Delores from Customer Service mentioned that the problem was not fixable, and GE would provide a voucher for a full replacement, but we needed to speak with Customer Relations for this to proceed.

I have a 13-month-old French door refrigerator, and the freezer stopped working. The service technician diagnosed the issue as a faulty freezer fan motor (WR60x10352) and main board (WR55x30368), covered under warranty. I am dealing with a billing problem. I bought a house in the summer of [redacted] with a GE dishwasher. The dishwasher, purchased in June [redacted], has a manufacturer's warranty that expired on June 5, [redacted]. Around October [redacted], the dishwasher had a draining issue, and my wife contacted support. A technician fixed the problem, and we were not billed due to the warranty. In May [redacted], the same problem recurred, and my wife called for assistance again. Another technician came in late May to fix it. However, in June [redacted], I received a bill for $[redacted].30. I believe I should not be charged for this service as the warranty was valid until June 5, [redacted]. As a property manager, my experience with GE has been disappointing. I have a new refrigerator that needs replacement and have been waiting for about four to five months. Despite having a case number, the refrigerator has not been delivered. I have spoken to multiple representatives who informed me that the refrigerator was assigned to the wrong delivery company that doesn't serve my city. This situation is concerning as I have a potential tenant waiting to move in without a refrigerator. My attempts to contact GE have been unsuccessful, with long hold times and no responses. I bought a fridge from Famous Tate in December [redacted] and have been experiencing ongoing issues. The ice maker stopped working shortly after purchase and despite multiple repairs under GE and Banker's Warranty Group coverage, it never functioned properly. Various components were replaced including the valve three times, the ice maker once, the vent, and the blower wheel. The cost of repairs is nearing the price of a new unit. After the latest service call for a vent replacement last week, the fridge and freezer stopped working entirely. I have contacted Bankers Warranty to initiate the process for appliance replacement and need swift action due to the prolonged inconvenience. On 12/15/19, I bought a GE Washer from our local Lowes. Unfortunately, on Sunday 7/26, it stopped working. After bringing it to the store, I was informed that since it had been over 30 days, I needed to contact GE for repairs. A service technician came and replaced the board and lid lock, but the washer still didn't work. When I questioned the technician, he was rude and unhelpful. GE informed me that the service company, Tri-County Services, was the only option in our area. I contacted Lowes, and they suggested reaching out to GE to voice my concerns. I feel uncomfortable having the same technician return due to his behavior. Lowes indicated they could assist with a replacement if GE provided a return number. I work for a well-known Management/Development Company, Dolben, and manage 47 properties with many GE appliances. Lately, I've had difficulties with GE's customer service, which has been lacking. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, I believe customer service should remain a priority. I need assistance regarding an ongoing issue at Emerson Place in Lebanon, NH. The property manager has reported delays in receiving orders from GE's delivery company, Spirit Delivery. This delay is impacting our residents and staff. I recently purchased a new GE refrigerator, GE Profile microwave, stove, and dishwasher for my new home. After having a plumber install the dishwasher, we discovered it was not working properly. We reached out to GE around the 20th, and a service technician came out on the 24th. He ordered parts, promising they would arrive by the 29th for a follow-up visit. However, no parts arrived on the 29th as promised. Despite following up on August 3rd, there was no update on the order. Today, we received a box with missing parts, and when we called for a new service visit, we were told different information by each representative, with one displaying a rude and unprofessional attitude. With three homes, we have trusted GE products in the past, but this experience has been frustrating and disappointing. After significant wait times on the phone, I am now seeking resolution and better customer service from GE.
