I purchased Converse shoes from Famous Footwear but due to being hospitalized, I couldn't return them immediately. When I tried to exchange them without a receipt, the store employee was unhelpful. Despite explaining the situation, the employee at the Glenmont Famous Footwear in Albany, New York, insisted on having the correct box or receipt for the return, even though the shoes were sold in the wrong box. The pink Converse inside a white box resulted in me being stuck with shoes that don't fit. The manager was rude and uncooperative during the exchange process, making it challenging for me to resolve the issue satisfactorily with my boyfriend present.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online for my daughter, but unfortunately, she did not find them comfortable. When I visited the store closest to my house, the sales associates initially mentioned I could exchange them for any shoe of equal value since the purchase was part of the BOGO sale. However, on subsequent visits, I was told by the assistant manager, Rita, that I could only exchange for the same shoe. Despite explaining the conflicting information I received, Rita was extremely rude and unhelpful. I just wanted to exchange the shoes for something my daughter would like, not get a refund. Rita's behavior was unacceptable, and she showed no willingness to assist me. I have never been treated so poorly by a store employee. Rita even suggested contacting Customer Service for her name, which was unnecessary. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received and will not be returning to this store in the future.

I visited Famous Footwear in West St. Paul, MN on October 13, [redacted] with a family member. Two employees were present, a guy and a girl named Katie. We waited in line to exchange a pair of shoes. While the guy and Katie were busy with other customers, a lady walked up and was served before us without acknowledging our presence. After noticing Katie was available, she avoided helping us. When I approached her, she seemed uninterested and quickly walked away after I showed her the shoes. The guy then suggested we look around and let him know when we were ready. As we browsed, Katie approached with a shoe that was a different size and more expensive. She didn't make eye contact and walked away abruptly. This made me uncomfortable and I felt ignored. I decided not to shop at that location again due to the biased treatment.

Yesterday, I visited the Richland Towne Centre store in Johnstown, PA with my son to purchase a pair of Vans and socks. Unfortunately, we did not receive a warm welcome or assistance while selecting the shoes. The assistant manager, a college-aged girl (whose name I did not catch), took the shoes to ring them up before I could select socks. When I presented my Famous Footwear reward card and coupons, she scanned my card and claimed it did not match the coupon. Despite suggesting it might be under my husband's name, she insisted I could not use the coupon until 5/7 and offered only a $5 reward instead of the $10 discount I anticipated. Requesting to speak with a manager, I was met with reluctance before finally being told by manager Lori that the coupon could not be used. Displeased with their customer service, I decided to shop elsewhere. My son and I then went to the Shoe Dept at the Galleria to buy the same shoes. As a long-time customer of the Richland Towne Centre store, I was disappointed by the lack of respect and service provided during my recent visit.

I tried to cancel Order # [redacted]0 shortly after placing it, but Lindsey from customer service at Ryka informed me that they are unable to cancel orders, even if escalated to the corporate office. Despite reviews suggesting the shoe size runs true, I found conflicting information indicating they may be too small. Despite my efforts to cancel with Footwear Fashion and contacting PayPal, I haven't been successful due to delays in customer service responses. I visited the Union Gap store on Saturday afternoon and bought shoes for my kids for $[redacted].19. Unfortunately, I faced an issue where my card was charged, but I didn't get a receipt. The clerk tried to process the payment again but my card was declined due to insufficient funds. After calling my bank, they confirmed the payment was pending for Famous Footwear to finalize the transaction. Despite this, the store kept trying to charge my card multiple times, causing more declined transactions. A man who claimed to be a manager, but was actually another associate from the Richland store, downplayed the situation and the whole experience left me feeling disappointed, embarrassed, and upset. The store staff's lack of concern and miscommunication led to an unnecessary and humiliating ordeal. I am a single mom of three teenagers and can't afford to lose that money. I believe the whole situation could have been handled better and I request a discount on the shoes that I've already paid for but couldn't take with me.

Despite receiving email confirmations that my order was shipped and arrived, the items are still missing. After tracking the order, I found delays due to COVID-19 and weather conditions, but this does not seem to be the cause of the issue. While shopping with my husband at Fischer Marketplace in Apple Valley, MN, we encountered the manager of Famous Footwear who displayed argumentative and rude behavior during a conversation, particularly regarding COVID-related matters. Despite my professional background as an RN and having family members who are MDs, the manager did not show respect for our opinions and seemed dismissive. Additionally, when we requested a shoehorn, she initially claimed they were only for sale, but later provided one without explanation about the store offering them for free. She attributed this policy to COVID precautions, yet it seemed contradictory given the nature of trying on multiple shoes. As someone with experience in retail and understanding the importance of good customer service, I was disappointed by the manager's attitude and believe she could benefit from additional training in this area.

I made a purchase on 10/1. According to FedEx, my shoes were delivered on 10/3, which was a Sunday, but I never received them. Despite requesting a replacement from Famous Footwear, they have refused. I offered to pick up the shoes in-store to avoid any issues with delivery. I can confirm that the shoes were not delivered as I was home on that Sunday. I am frustrated by the situation as I am unable to file a claim with FedEx due to the type of shipping method used. Famous Footwear has not provided a satisfactory solution despite the time that has passed since my purchase. Their repeated response is to keep checking back. They have even suggested I file a police report, which seems excessive given the circumstances.

I purchased a pair of shoes today using my credit card. The cashier suggested I could save ten dollars if I answered a few questions, to which I agreed. Shortly after, I received the receipt and was told to have a nice day. However, I later found out that my credit score was checked without my knowledge, resulting in a hard inquiry and a drop of 40 points. This was not explained to me, and I feel misled. I am planning to return the shoes and no longer wish to shop at Famous Footwear in the Aviation Mall. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly, otherwise, I might have to seek legal advice. I applied for a credit card over a month ago, got approved, and made my first order for shoes, which went smoothly. Now, I'm looking to purchase two pairs of shoes for Christmas gifts, but I haven't received my credit card yet. I've spent over four hours on hold with Famous Footwear customer service without getting a resolution. I need my credit card as it has been over a month since I applied, and even though they have supposedly sent me two cards, I have not received the first one.

I placed an order on 12/23/[redacted] and received texts that it was shipped and delivered, but I never received the item. I had a frustrating experience at Famous Footwear recently. While on vacation in Charleston, South Carolina, I stopped at Tanger Outlet and bought shoes for my mom and me. When I got home, I found the wrong shoes in the boxes. The customer service representative I contacted was helpful, but the manager, Mary Ellen, was rude. She suggested I drive back to the store to exchange them, which was not feasible for me due to the distance and gas prices. I explained the situation, but she was disrespectful and unhelpful. I recently had a disappointing experience while purchasing a pair of shoes. Despite the rude service I received, I decided to buy them. Unfortunately, the shoes are too small for my husband. I feel very embarrassed about the situation and the $60 wasted. I rushed to leave the store to avoid further confrontation. I placed an order that was canceled as the store ran out of stock. Despite being assured it would be ready in an hour, my money was not refunded. It has been over a month, and my attempts to contact the customer service team today were met with rudeness as the agent hung up on me twice. This experience is unacceptable, especially considering the amount of money I spend at your store. I have proof of the charge on my bank statement, clearly showing the refund was never processed. However, my recent experience at Famous Footwear in Paso Robles, CA, on the evening of 07/10/[redacted] was quite upsetting. Despite being a regular customer, I was informed by an employee that I was no longer welcome due to allegations involving a missing item.
