I am contacting you regarding an issue with Instagram.
I have been attempting to create a new account using the username maryamaboseif, but I keep getting a message that it's already taken. However, when I search for it, no accounts appear under that name.
The reason for this discrepancy is that maryamaboseif used to be my old handle before I changed it to maboseif, or possibly it was linked to a different account that I have since deactivated. Unfortunately, I cannot recall as it was quite some time ago.
I have tried to reset the password through the "forgot password" option in the hopes of reopening the account. The challenge lies in the fact that the account is associated with an old Egyptian phone number which I no longer use, as I now reside in Dubai, and that number has been deactivated.
I am hopeful that there is a solution to reset the password or reclaim the username, considering no one else is currently using it, and it belonged to me in the past. It's a bit disheartening as I have a sentimental attachment to it.
I am more than willing to provide any necessary verification to confirm my ownership of the account.

I converted my personal profile into a page under the name Ken Wong Kian Shen on Facebook. Following all the instructions provided, the page is currently stuck in the status of "creating your page." It has been in this state for 7 days now, and the content is still pending.
Upon navigating to Settings > Page visibility > Edit, the message indicates that the page is still being created, and I will be able to publish it once it's ready to be visible to the public.
I am hesitant to create a new page as I would lose the ability to convert my friends' likes to the new page. Deleting this page and starting over would also be inconvenient as the process takes 14 days for confirmation.
I attempted to seek assistance through live chat support, but I am unable to locate the live chat button.
I would appreciate any guidance or help on resolving this issue.

I am reaching out seeking assistance with a distressing situation. I sadly lost my husband last year and around that time, our home PC's hard drive failed, causing the loss of all our family photographs with no backup. The only images remaining are the ones shared on Facebook.
Preserving my Facebook account has become crucial due to this loss.
My predicament is as follows: When I initially joined Facebook many years back, I utilized a Hotmail address as the primary contact. Although I have an additional email address linked, my Hotmail account is no longer active and I cannot recall the password.
The challenge I face is the inability to switch my primary email address without the current password. Moreover, since I recently acquired an iPhone, I am unable to transfer my Facebook account to the new device as I failed to save my passwords and cannot recollect the required information.
Any guidance extended in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

We are experiencing issues with a business competitor who repeatedly interferes with our Facebook accounts, potentially through hacking or reporting for abuse. Despite having a restraining order against this individual and providing our photo ID twice per your request, we have not received any response from Facebook. Our new nursery school heavily relies on Facebook for parent communication, and this ongoing problem is affecting our business. We did not intend for our personal and business Facebook accounts to be merged, and we are open to providing any necessary court documentation to validate our situation. I'm frustrated by the sponsored ads flooding my news feed. Despite adjusting my settings to avoid ads, they keep appearing. It's overwhelming to constantly hide and block them. Please find a way to prevent any ads, sponsored or not, from reaching me. It's becoming bothersome. - Susan T.

Hello, my name is Joshua Knipp. Recently, the Facebook account I had set up for gaming purposes for both myself and my son, Adin Jin Knipp, was disabled. I was in the middle of a game earlier today when I was logged out and asked to send a photo to recover the account. In that photo, I am still wearing the same necklace and cross as I am today. I'm unsure why this issue will take 10 days to resolve, but I would greatly appreciate assistance with reactivating our account so we can continue playing our online games. Both of my sons have autism, and as a single parent, we have limited entertainment options. This online gaming account is one of the few things we enjoy, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I am writing on behalf of my girlfriend, as her account has faced multiple breaches despite changing the password several times. Recently, we set up two-factor authentication, which usually sends a code to her phone for login verification. However, the code stopped coming through yesterday, leaving us both locked out of her account. Clicking on the "forgot password" option does not prompt the text reset request. Unfortunately, she no longer has access to her old email account, leaving us at a loss on how to regain access. I keep facing the same issue repeatedly with Facebook support. They keep redirecting me to a company that requires payment to resolve the problem. I am hesitant to share my credit card details with organizations that already flood me with ads. If Facebook cannot fix the problem, they should inform us and let us decide if we want to seek paid assistance or discontinue using the platform. What was once a social platform has evolved into something else entirely, with social interaction taking a back seat. I want the issue resolved to continue connecting with loved ones; however, I cannot afford to engage an unknown company for a Facebook-related computer problem that occurred while my computer was turned off. The problem is that my computer only displays two items at a time - friends' photos and advertisements - without allowing me to scroll, unlike other websites where scrolling works fine.

My friend mistakenly shared a picture with me on WhatsApp that violated Facebook's terms. Unaware of this, I sent the same picture through Facebook Messenger, resulting in my account being disabled. I visited a website to obtain PUBG mobile game skins and accessories, but when I clicked on the "Get" button, it connected to my Facebook account. Shortly after, I received an email stating that my password had been changed. I attempted to reset it, but when I clicked on the "Change" button, my account disappeared instantly due to Facebook's community standards policy. I reached out to Facebook's help center and was informed that my account was permanently disabled for violating community standards. I am writing on behalf of our recruiting and staffing company located in Spokane, WA. We have posted job openings on our company's Facebook page (Provisional Recruiting + Staffing, @ProvisionalIRS) without any issues until recently.
On August 26, I received a notification that an Administrative Assistant/Data Entry position violated job policies. After appealing, the decision was upheld. The same situation occurred on August 27 with a Data Entry Representative position, again resulting in a policy violation after my appeal.
Despite reviewing the job policy page thoroughly, I am puzzled as to why our posts are not compliant. On August 28, we were informed that our page had been unpublished for the same reasons. I appealed promptly, but it has been over a week without a response.
Our company values Facebook as a significant resource, and it would be disappointing to cease using the platform. We kindly request clarification on how our job postings are non-compliant and the republication of our company page. I have been diligently checking my Support Inbox but have not received any updates regarding my appeal. I am unsure where the appeal notification decisions are sent, whether to the Support Inbox or my personal email. Could you also provide an estimated timeframe for a response?

I am Haley, from a recruiting and staffing company in Spokane, Washington.
We have been advertising our job openings on our company’s Facebook page, Provisional Recruiting + Staffing, without any issues until August 26th.
I received a notification stating that our posts for an Administrative Assistant/Data Entry position did not meet the job policy guidelines. After appealing, it was ruled that the post still violated the policies. The same situation occurred on August 27th with a Data Entry Representative position, and after appealing again, it was found to be non-compliant.
Despite thorough review of the job policy, the reasons for non-compliance remain unclear to me. On August 28th, our page was unpublished for the same reasons. I submitted an appeal that day and have yet to receive a response over a week later.
Our company relies on Facebook for recruitment and would like to resolve this issue to continue using your service.
Could you please provide clarification on the policy violations and republish our page? I have been regularly checking my Support Inbox but have not received any updates on the appeal. Where are appeal decision notifications sent? Is it the Support Inbox or my personal email? When can I expect a response?

I am having trouble linking my Instagram account @lovewhereyouliveapparel to my Facebook page Love Where You Live Apparel. My Facebook page is already created and published, and I am the admin under the name sheila.gracie.[redacted].
Whenever I try to create a promotion on Instagram, I receive an error stating that my Instagram account is not linked to a Facebook page. When I attempt to link them in IG settings, I get a message saying, "Something went wrong. We are working on getting this fixed." Also, I am facing issues adding a payment method for promotions on Instagram due to the account linkage problem.
I have set up a Facebook Business Manager, but I am currently unable to access my account with the numbers such as #[redacted][redacted] and #[redacted][redacted] under the company name Love Where You Live Co.
I need assistance in connecting my Facebook page to my Instagram account, accessing my FB Business Manager and Ad Accounts, enabling Promotions Payment on IG, and overall streamlining the process. I have been struggling with this for months and would appreciate a resolution as soon as possible.

Facebook has blocked my account, even though I've provided all the necessary security information. I've been using the same account name for over 15 years without any issues. Unfortunately, I'm not very tech-savvy and need human assistance to regain access. Facebook is my main way of staying in touch with my family, and being locked out has left me feeling isolated. I'm unable to remember my friends' names to pass security checks, so I urgently need my account unlocked to reassure my loved ones of my well-being. The Get Human site is experiencing technical difficulties every time I try to proceed. Despite Facebook's warnings about a limited time to resolve this, I require direct human support as chat functions are unresponsive. It's been a week of feeling stranded and alone. If my account has been compromised, I just want to inform my friends that I am safe. I shouldn't have to pay for a resolution when I haven't caused this problem. Please, I desperately need assistance to restore access to my account without any cost involved.

My account was disabled over a month ago for identity verification. I submitted all required documents, like photos of my driver's license and credit card, but have not received any response yet. I created a new account that was disabled as well, requested the same documents, promptly sent them, and still have not heard back after another month.

The previous administrator added the name Carlos Grier to our company's business brand, Mr.Bigmann Grier, on our Facebook page linked to the Grier Media Group account. However, Grier Media Group does not support or advertise the name Carlos Grier, which was mistakenly set as the name of the Mr.Bigmann Grier account on September 4th, [redacted]. We urgently request to have the name reverted back to Mr.Bigmann Grier, as it is the official business brand name of Grier Media Group. Waiting sixty days for a name change is not feasible for us. We deactivated the account on the same day, September 4th, [redacted], as Grier Media Group does not endorse the name Carlos Grier. Your prompt assistance in reinstating Mr.Bigmann Grier on our account page would be greatly appreciated to continue operating the business under Grier Media Group.

I am trying to access my account through a web browser as I forgot my password. While logged into Facebook, I attempted to reset my password by requesting a code to be sent to my phone number. Facebook required me to log out to proceed. After logging out and entering my phone number, I encountered an issue where the Facebook app could not locate my account. On the web browser, the process requested verification through an email associated with my account, which I do not have as I only have my phone number on file. Unfortunately, I am unable to receive a verification code or use trusted contacts. These technical difficulties are causing frustration as this account is significant to me. I am currently only logged into Facebook Messenger. Kindly assist in sending a verification to my phone number.

On July 3, [redacted], I attempted to purchase an iPhone X on Facebook Marketplace from a seller named Mell Heffner. Despite processing the payment through debit on July 8, I never received the phone. The seller has since deleted all contact information. I contacted my bank to cancel the debit and protect my account. After an investigation, my bank informed me that Facebook claimed the transaction was not fraudulent since a product was supposedly received. However, my issue remains unresolved as I did not receive the item. I am seeking a refund of $[redacted] through Facebook Marketplace but have been unable to reach anyone for assistance. I had believed that Facebook Marketplace provided support for both buyers and sellers in such situations.
