Around 10 months ago, an imposter account emerged using my email address and phone number without my authorization. Seeing this, I suspected a hack and refrained from engaging with the account. Back in February, I was blocked from my original Facebook account after receiving password change prompts disrupted by the imposter account. On Facebook, I am known as DeborahRielCooper, yet the imposter account refers to me as "Debbie," a name never associated with me online. Notifications for friend suggestions from existing friends keep appearing. In February, I gave up regaining access and created a new account as DeborahRielCooper with a profile picture of me and my mother. Recently, my phone was wiped, and after reinstalling Facebook, only the Debbie account shows up when my details are entered. Despite attempting to delete the imposter account months ago, I was unable to, but successfully deleted my real inaccessible account. This led me to create a new account to continue using the platform. I seek assistance in ridding the Debbie account completely as it does not represent me. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I recently upgraded my phone and am having trouble logging into Facebook because I forgot my password. The recovery code is being sent to an old email address that I no longer have access to. I tried to contact Microsoft for help, but without the phone number connected to that email, they cannot assist me. I originally set up Facebook with the phone number [redacted] under my maiden name, Julia Buehn. After getting married in [redacted], I updated my Facebook account to [redacted], but I can't remember the password for that email. My current email is [redacted] I have been using Facebook since [redacted] and this is the first time I've encountered this issue. Losing access to my account means losing important information, contacts, memories, and calendars. I'm unable to create a new account and need to recover my original one for Julia Saldana. I'm willing to provide any necessary documentation to verify my identity.

I am a concerned family member who has reached out to Facebook regarding my mother's account. She has been sharing personal private information while having disputes with numerous people on the platform. Despite my efforts to address this privately with her, the content keeps resurfacing. I do not have a Facebook account due to these reasons, and I am considering legal action to prevent the continued disclosure of this private information. My mother is ailing and struggling with mental health issues. Facebook has removed the content before, but it keeps appearing. I implore Facebook to block her account to safeguard the privacy of those involved. Please take urgent action on this matter to prevent further dissemination of personal details. Thank you for your assistance.

Yesterday, my Facebook and Instagram accounts were disabled, and I'm unsure of the reason. Instagram states that my account was disabled for violating their terms. I clicked on "appeal" and indicated that it might be a mistake. I've submitted the required information and now await a response. Similarly, for my Facebook account, I went through the same process and received a confirmation email for my appeal. It has been more than 24 hours, and I have not received any response yet. I'm unsure about the typical response time. Losing access to Facebook and Instagram is frustrating for me as they are crucial for communication, especially for work and family group chats.

I have a few questions that I am looking for answers to, hoping you can help me as I haven't been able to find answers. There are several questions, but I hope you have time to reply to me today. I have an Android phone and use the Facebook app, updating it every time there is a new update. 1. I have 28-30 sales posts, and for several months, I have been able to see them all together. However, twice when I log into the app, I have only been able to find 5 active posts when I click to view items. Why could this be happening? I can find them all by searching my name in the group. 2. When a post is in multiple groups, can I go in and add a comment to the post in all the groups it's posted in? 3. I am not sure if I am very behind, as I go into all groups and click on each post to bump it up. Please let me know if there is an easier way to do this. 4. Is there a maximum number of sales posts you can make? 5. Is there a group, page, or perhaps an app where you can keep track of posts in buying and selling groups? Maybe an app/Facebook feature to manage posts. Having some organization would make it much easier to keep track. 6. My messenger messages are not being delivered; I have messages that are over a week old that have not been delivered yet. 7. Why do I receive messages that my posts in different sales groups do not comply with the rules? These are posts where I create poems and texts on request. Are there certain words that cannot be included in the posts? 8. Am I allowed to link to my page for poems on request in different groups? 9. Often when I click on the inbox in Marketplace, it just shows a white screen, and I can't seem to find the inbox if I go online instead of using the app. 10. Can I create more pages than the one I currently have? 11. I know selling counterfeit goods on Facebook is not allowed, but can I sell souvenirs (figurines, jewelry, towels) as there was an issue with my post, but perhaps it was because I mentioned it was from Malta? Lastly, how can I increase visibility and make people aware of my page? Apologies for all the questions, hope you can bear with me. Have a good evening! Regards, C.

We have been dealing with ongoing hate speech from a former friend that keeps appearing on both our business page and their personal page. Even after reporting and banning them from our business page, they continue to post harmful content. Despite multiple reports to Facebook, they have not taken action as the posts are somehow within their community guidelines. We previously involved local authorities five years ago, but the issue persists. If Facebook fails to address this, we are contemplating legal action against both the individual and the platform.

I have forgotten my Facebook password and no longer have access to the phone number associated with my account due to a recent update. In the past, Facebook has resolved this issue by sending a code to my current number. However, today it is requesting my old number, which I no longer have. Please advise me on how to fix this matter. Reach out to me via email at [redacted] or my current number [redacted][redacted] for further assistance. I am willing to provide any additional verification necessary. Sincerely, Njumo Kevin.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulties accessing my Facebook account. A friend changed my name from 'Garret Kaye' to 'Goophus Dawkins IV', resulting in my account being disabled for suspicion of being a fraudulent account. Despite attempting to follow the steps outlined in the Facebook Help Center and submitting identification, I have not received any communication from Facebook regarding this issue. Every time I try to log in to rectify the situation, I receive the same prompt: "We’ll take a look at the documents you submitted and get back to you." However, I have encountered errors when trying to submit my ID application due to a message indicating missing information, even though I have filled out all available fields. I am eager to restore my account's original name and would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter. I am willing to provide any necessary credentials or forms of identification to verify ownership. Thank you for your help. Best regards, - Garret

As a truck driver, I solely use Facebook for gaming as I travel across the country and connect to various WiFi networks. On numerous occasions, I have been prompted to confirm my identity, typically by providing my birthdate. Sometimes I am asked for additional verification steps, such as logging in from my usual device or identifying friends from photos, or even uploading a photo ID. Despite complying with these requests using my consistent device, my phone, I have encountered challenges as I primarily add friends for gaming and struggle to recognize them. Recently, I uploaded my photo ID as requested, however, this process was time-consuming, and unfortunately, Facebook permanently closed my account, despite my efforts. I was forced to create a new account and endure the lengthy process of transferring my gaming data, causing significant frustration.

On November 20th, someone accessed my Facebook account and tampered with the information, making it seem like I had created a new account. When I tried to change the password, the system claimed I was entering incorrect information for my password, phone number, email address, and name, even though I could access my email to log in. I have requested a 6-digit code from Facebook seven times on different days, but entering the code led to errors or requests for more digits. After several failed attempts, I unknowingly created another Facebook account, mistaking it for the account I was trying to access. I am incredibly frustrated and in need of assistance to resolve this tangled situation.

On Saturday, November 24, [redacted], I posted two purses for sale on Marketplace, but they were flagged without any explanation. Unsure whether to delete them, I awaited guidance from Marketplace. Despite successfully posting other items that evening, my listings suddenly received no hits starting the following Sunday. Even though I see my listings on my profile, friends confirm they can't find them. I've tried various solutions but haven't seen improvement. Nobody at Marketplace seems reachable for assistance. I can add new listings, but customers can't view them. Seeking clarity and resolution, I've encountered this issue while combining households and listing many items. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am disappointed with the situation concerning my Facebook account. I created the email address solely for Facebook purposes 8 to 9 years ago to prevent issues with my main email. Despite entering the correct phone number and password, individuals were able to access my account and potentially steal my identity. The account holds invaluable memories, including videos of my son as a baby. Losing these memories is devastating, as they are irreplaceable. I feel let down by Facebook for not adequately protecting loyal users like myself. Restoring my account and recovering these precious photos and videos would mean everything to me. My account name is Freddy Nekminut Tahu, and the email associated with it is [redacted] Although I have changed my password, I am willing to provide any necessary information about my account. I kindly request that Facebook reach out to me via phone at +[redacted]2 to resolve this matter. Thank you.

I believe that my Facebook account has been accessed by someone else. I have been attempting to recover it for more than a year now. When I receive the recovery code via email and follow the link, I am prompted to verify my identity via text message, but I never receive the text. The phone number displayed on the screen seems correct, even though it's not showing the complete number. It's possible that someone may have changed my phone number by just one digit. Despite reaching out to Facebook through the recovery process approximately 20 times, I have not received any response. What's concerning is that I intentionally did not link a phone number to my Facebook account, as far as I know. It's distressing to think that someone may have added their own number to my account, potentially to sabotage it or use it for malicious purposes. The account holds cherished memories, particularly photos of my children. This situation highlights the need for more effective methods to recover and safeguard accounts, especially when faced with sophisticated methods like using a photo ID to gain unauthorized access. There should be stricter protocols in place, perhaps even requiring visual ID confirmation, although there are also risks associated with protecting one's iCloud or Apple ID from unauthorized access.

I recently changed my name and am facing difficulties updating it on Facebook. My friend Lizz Ramirez can confirm my name change, which I have been using for 16 years. I provided documentation such as a health insurance card and a letter from the insurance company with my new name, Curse Tea, but Facebook did not accept it along with my birthdate. By mistake, I resent my health insurance card instead of the letter from Lizz Ramirez. Unfortunately, I do not have access to my birth certificate as all my legal documents are in storage under my previous partner's name. My suspended license prevents me from obtaining a new I.D. in Ohio, where the process requires retaking the driving test if you upgrade from an I.D. to a driver's license. I am eager to regain access to my Facebook account where I have cherished memories of my daughter. I can provide a list of contacts who can verify my name change for authentication purposes.

I had an account connected to my phone and tablet. A year ago, my phone prompted me to log in but wouldn't accept my details, leading me to unintentionally create a new account. I want my original account back on my phone like on my tablet. Despite different numbers for the phone and tablet, I never encountered this issue until my phone's login problem. I never logged out on my phone, nor on my tablet. Although my current number is different from what was initially used for the account, I believe this shouldn't be an issue as my tablet still accesses the account without problems. To resolve this, I may need to speak with someone to explain the situation better. My email has also changed since the account setup. I don't want a new account and to re-add friends; I simply wish to access my original account on my phone as on my tablet. Even when I try to reset the password using the original phone number, the verification code goes to the old number, making it impossible to retrieve. I hope for a straightforward resolution. My email address is now [redacted], different from the one used for the account, which is [redacted]

Approximately three weeks ago, a fake Facebook profile was reported for impersonating me. However, instead of disabling the reported fake account, my actual personal Facebook account was disabled. I've been trying to reactivate my account by uploading various forms of identification, such as my driver's license and marriage certificate, but have not received clear communication. While I meet the requirements outlined in Facebook's guidelines, the issue seems to be with the clarity of the photo on my license. Despite multiple attempts, the reactivation requests are still being denied due to this reason. It is frustrating as there is still an active fake profile pretending to be me, and I have hit a dead-end with escalating this issue on Facebook.

Hello, my name is Ioana Andreea Dorohoi. I encountered an issue with my Facebook account ([redacted]) last night when I tried to log in. A prompt appeared requesting my ID, and I suspect someone may have tried to report me. I attempted to upload my ID, but I am unsure if it was successful as a message indicated that an email would be sent. Regrettably, I no longer have access to the email linked to the account, only my Romanian phone number ([redacted][redacted]). A friend also tried to access the account on my behalf to rule out connectivity issues. I am seeking guidance on resolving this matter and would like to know the expected timeframe for verifying my identity. This account is essential to me as it is where a crucial conversation began. Best regards, Ioana Andreea Dorohoi

Hello, I want to discuss my experience with the Facebook membership process. My aim was to connect better with family members. However, I never completed the sign-up process and was surprised to find out that Facebook sent unauthorized friend requests to all my phone contacts. This felt like agreeing to host a party without control over the guest list. Following this, news emerged that Facebook sold member contacts and shopping history to unauthorized sources. Had I known about this earlier, I would not have considered joining. Despite my respect for the owner, this incident has left me concerned. Jeff U. Pittsburgh, PA

Good morning, I am quite upset. I've had my Facebook account for almost ten years, and on my birthday yesterday, I couldn't log in to see all the birthday wishes. My Facebook account is precious to me with many memories and friends. Recently, I got a new phone, got logged out of Facebook, and don't remember my password. The email I used for Facebook was created when I was 15 and is inaccessible now. I've tried everything to recover my account without success. I don't have a phone number on my account, and the recovery options are not working. I can prove my identity in other ways if needed. I really need to access my account before Christmas. It's important to me, and I hope Facebook can assist me in recovering it as I can't recall details from years ago.
