Last night, I couldn't log in to my account with my password, so I recovered it using my phone number. I don't have access to my yahoo email ([redacted]) and didn't input my umich email ([redacted]) incorrectly, so my phone was the only option. After changing my password and logging in successfully, I forgot to update my email. This morning, I received a notification in Arabic, and when I tried to log in, it said my password was changed with no option to send a verification code to my phone. I've reached out for help on my work Facebook and also @facebook on Twitter. It's frustrating, and I really need help regaining access and securing my Facebook account.

Dear Facebook Team,
I am Aung Phyo Thu, and I encountered an issue while trying to log into my Facebook account at www.facebook.com. I forgot my password and proceeded to use the "forgot my password" option.
I utilized the "Ask your trusted partners for help" feature and received the code from my three trusted Facebook friends. However, upon entering the code, I received a message stating that the email address is associated with another Facebook account. I want to clarify that I originally created my account using my phone number, not an email address, which may have led to this confusion.
I would appreciate your guidance on resetting my password to access my account via the web. Please note that I can still access my account through the iPhone app.
Thank you,
Aung Phyo Thu

After relocating from South Africa to New Zealand in early May, I encountered issues accessing my Facebook account. In late April, there was an attempted hack on my account, resulting in being logged out. The challenge now is that I cannot log in from New Zealand since I no longer have my South African cell number. Despite changing my password multiple times and being able to receive a code via email due to access to my Gmail, the hurdle remains since I no longer have access to the devices I used to log in from, including an old work PC in South Africa. Facing uncertainty about the second PC listed and suspecting it might belong to the hacker, I am seeking guidance on how to reactivate and access my Facebook account solely via email. Thank you for your support.

I mistakenly gave out all my information to someone I thought was a friend on Facebook, but it turned out my account was hacked. This person now has all my private information, and I need to change all my passwords, including for my bank accounts and credit cards. They claimed I won a large prize and to contact them to claim it, but they needed my info first. The account used belonged to who I thought was my girlfriend, so I trusted it. When I asked her about the prize, she denied it. The person claims to be in Quebec, but that seems untrue. Their phone number is [redacted], but they didn't answer when I called. I have all the text messages they sent me as proof. Can someone please assist me in dealing with this situation?
Sincerely,
Carla T.

Hello Facebook Support Team,
This morning, I encountered a problem with my account. I was locked out and requested to submit a photo of myself. After doing so, I was informed that my security is a top priority. Unfortunately, my accounts have been compromised in the past due to hacking and false impersonation, leading me to be offline for some time. I only have two photos on my profile - a cover photo and an Apple Music logo as my profile picture. The issue arose when I was updating my work details. It felt as though someone was preventing me from typing, almost as if my fingers were being struck. I would appreciate it if you could assist me in resolving this matter.
Thank you for your attention and anticipated help.
Best regards,

An individual formerly employed by me, Jake Tanner, initially set up my LanduaCo Roofing FB page. Subsequently, due to numerous issues caused single-handedly, this individual is no longer associated with the company. However, they still have some connection to the FB page.
As the rightful owner of my company, which is registered as an LLC in Texas, I am seeking assistance in completely removing this individual, Jake Tanner, from any ties to LanduaCo Roofing.
I aim to resolve this matter amicably as this person, despite the difficulties, is someone I value as a friend. My main objective is to sever all links to ensure the smooth operation of my business.

Hello, my name is Diane Mcinnes. Recently, my son Jamie Mcinnes (formerly Anderson) sadly passed away earlier this year. I am seeking access to his Facebook account to look for any potential messages or instances of cyberbullying that may have led him to take his own life. Jamie was a vibrant, outgoing individual who was cherished by many. Reviewing his account would bring closure to his family, including his sisters and myself. I have his passport, college ID, birth certificate, and death certificate for verification purposes. Additionally, I can provide my identification documents, including my passport, provisional license, and birth certificate. You can reach me at [redacted]3, and Jamie's former number was [redacted]2. Please contact me via email at [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

I have been struggling with short-term memory loss, often forgetting my passwords and emails every six months. This issue is impacting my daily life and mental health significantly. I have a total of seven accounts under the names Damon Halton and Damon Halton Shylock. My parents are divorced, and I am experiencing bullying at work and during my commute, which is affecting my sleep and leading to suicidal thoughts. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.

I need help resetting my password for my account "[redacted]" as I have forgotten the current one. Unfortunately, the email address for recovery is no longer available, leaving me unable to access any recovery emails. I tried to add my current email, "[redacted]," for recovery, but it requires my current password which I don't have. I am concerned that if I log out of my account on my phone, I will lose access to my pages with thousands of followers. I was prompted to change my password for security reasons over a year ago and can provide my previous password and any necessary identification.

Hello,
My parents have an older TV and they typically watch content via Chromecast from Facebook using their phones. Recently, they've encountered an issue where every time they try to use another app while streaming Facebook content to the TV, the casting is interrupted. This behavior is new as previously they were able to multitask on the phone while casting without any problems.
This issue seems to be specific to Facebook as other streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO continue to work seamlessly. I'm curious if there have been any changes on your end that could be causing this or if there is a setting we can adjust to restore the previous functionality.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,

On April 13th, I transferred money to another account, and the funds appeared there promptly. However, I recently noticed that the amount was deducted from my account just now, resulting in a negative balance. This unexpected situation has led to a charge of $[redacted], which is causing significant inconvenience. I have contacted the bank responsible for the receiving account, but they were unable to resolve the issue. I urge Facebook to address this matter promptly as I am now short of $[redacted] needed to cover my bills. The error has disrupted my finances, and I request swift action to rectify it, as this situation is causing me undue stress.

On Wednesday, May 9th, upon returning home from work, I attempted to log in to Facebook. A prompt requested me to verify my identity by uploading a photo showing my face. Following the upload, I was informed that an email would be sent with further details. Regrettably, the email was never received, and now my account is disabled.
As a new member on Facebook for approximately a month, this scenario has occurred 4-6 times within this period. I have attempted to contact Facebook via email on 4-6 occasions seeking guidance on how to prevent this issue. Unfortunately, I have not received any response. My Facebook usage is solely to reconnect with old friends and share updates on my life.
I am seeking a resolution to this recurring problem to utilize Facebook without disruptions. This is the first time I have encountered challenges with a social media platform.
I appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter promptly.

Dear Facebook Team,
I am writing with frustration and concern regarding a post on your platform containing my pictures uploaded in good faith. The individual Saveen Gunaratne has shared these pictures without my consent, impacting my reputation. Despite numerous complaints and reports from myself and loved ones, Facebook has not taken any action. I urge you to review my profile and address this issue promptly, as the pictures are part of my profile set. I respectfully request that Facebook removes this post from Saveen Gunaratne's profile, or I will take legal action.
I trust that Facebook will handle this matter appropriately. I have deactivated my account in the meantime. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. The link to the post is provided for your reference.

I am experiencing issues viewing "Your Items" in the Marketplace using the mobile app. After the latest Facebook update, I am unable to access my listed items under "You" and then "Selling." The error message "Something went wrong, Marketplace is unavailable right now" appears. Surprisingly, I can view my items by searching for my profile, but I cannot see comments or relist items from the mobile app. The Buying and Following features work well. When attempting to repost an item, the Marketplace option is already selected when posting to other groups. This issue is new as I could see and manage my listings previously.

I recently closed my Facebook and Messenger accounts due to my ex-girlfriend hacking into my page multiple times despite changing my password. I was tired of dealing with the damage she caused daily. A new fake Facebook page and Messenger account pretending to be me has surfaced, and I believe she's behind it. There are pictures and posts indicating her involvement. I want this page removed before considering returning to Facebook. It's frustrating to resolve this without a contact phone number for immediate assistance.

I recently got a new phone and had trouble logging into my Facebook account. When I tried to reset my password, it didn't work, and when I used my phone number and last known password, it showed someone else's name. I followed the prompts to verify my identity, but I never received a security code. Some individuals instructed me to buy gift cards and call them for assistance. I don't have access to the email associated with my Facebook account anymore. Please assist me with recovering my account.

Hello Facebook team,
I recently received a 30-day ban for a comment where I used a derogatory term months ago. I believe this ban is unjust as I have made significant efforts to comply with the community standards since my previous ban in January. I aimed to go without any bans until September to reset to a warning. I have been conscientious about my language, censoring any potentially inappropriate content. I kindly request a review of my recent activity which does not breach the guidelines. Being able to post after my graduation on May 25 is important to me. I acknowledge my past mistakes and assure you of my commitment to adhering to the standards. Your reconsideration would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
T.T-D.

Facebook has recently "disabled" my account linked to email [redacted]. They did not provide a clear reason and directed me to a page without justification for their actions. This lack of transparency may violate fair business practices. Despite my concerns, I am optimistic that Facebook's conduct will face scrutiny amidst upcoming elections. In the past, I advocated for global communication, but now I am disillusioned by Facebook's manipulative practices. It seems they prioritize their agenda over user respect. Historically, powerful entities promising societal unity often evolved into monopolies focused on profit. Fortunately, past champions like Teddy Roosevelt fought against such abuses, fostering fair competition and ethics. Where are today's advocates for consumer rights? It appears people are deceived by modern monopolies' rhetoric. Yet, the reign of these entities is likely unsustainable.

I want to bring attention to Thompson Horse Lot & Co. They acquire horses from auctions and utilize their Facebook page to post videos of the horses. They then issue threats to send the horses to slaughter by a particular date unless individuals pay inflated prices to "rescue" them. This behavior violates Facebook's policy prohibiting the sale of animals. The notion of setting a "ship date" implies sending the animals to slaughter in Canada or Mexico. I urge for action to prevent them from exploiting Facebook in this manner.

Hi, I've been using this Facebook account for a long time. Last time, I added my phone number and changed my password because the account activity wasn't mine. Please help me solve this problem and let me know the reason behind my account being hacked. Thank you.
