Due to a family medical emergency, we unfortunately had to cancel our trip to several national parks in May. Most hotels and vendors have been understanding and refunded our deposits and fees. However, the Bowen Motel in Moab, Utah (Itinerary # [redacted][redacted]), requested a doctor's letter for the situation. I worked with ElvyR Imnerosero, an Expedia Travel Associate, who asked me to send a screenshot of the letter once I had it. Despite multiple requests for confirmation, I have not received any response from her in over a week. I am seeking an update on my status. Thank you.

I was charged for three seats on a flight from Phoenix to London on May 18, [redacted]. I have been attempting to get a refund for months now. The charge was for three bookings - myself and my two sisters. I selected seats for this flight and the connecting ones. After paying for all three bookings, I was redirected to American Airlines to choose seats. However, upon reaching their website, I could not select seats for the Phoenix to London flight. Despite my itinerary still showing American Airlines for that leg, they informed me it was British Airways. British Airways then asked for an additional $[redacted].00 to choose our seats, even though I paid Expedia $[redacted].00 initially for seat selection. I have been struggling with Expedia's customer service with no resolution.

I am reaching out regarding my experience with a booking through Expedia.com.au (reference # [redacted][redacted], airline code URJDGR). Upon arrival at Santiago airport for my flight with Aerolineas Argentinas, I encountered an issue with the flight class that prevented me from receiving a boarding pass. Despite confirmed bookings on Expedia and the airline's website, there was a problem with the "G" class. After attempting to resolve the issue through an online chat with an Expedia agent, no solution was found, and I eventually missed my flight. The airline suggested returning for a later flight, only to find out it was full upon my return. I recently purchased flights to Hawaii through your website. I paid an additional fee to choose seats in advance as we are traveling with a child. However, when I checked Hawaiian Airlines' website, it indicates that seat assignments are not available at the time of booking. Seats can be selected during check-in, which can be done as early as 24 hours before the flight or will be assigned at the gate. Could you assist me in assigning our seats as soon as possible? Due to COVID-19, we had to cancel our tickets and were advised that we could redeem them until the end of [redacted]. However, recent interactions have been frustrating. During a call that lasted an hour and a half, I was informed that additional payment was required, which was not communicated earlier. Another conversation with a representative named Ashvi was unprofessional and confusing, lasting an hour and a quarter. It is important to note that these are international calls incurring charges. Despite being instructed to make a flight reservation, it was revealed that more money was needed to finalize the booking, even though the new tickets were more expensive. In summary, we have a credit of £[redacted] per passenger, but different representatives have given conflicting payment amounts, creating a lack of clarity and professionalism in your services. I seek urgent resolution and request a manager to address this matter promptly. Ashvi’s direct manager, Raul, should also review the situation to prevent similar experiences for other customers. As a longtime customer, I am disappointed by the disrespect shown to us and the negative impact on your reputation. I anticipate a prompt response to rectify this issue. Thank you.

My email address was hacked, and someone used it to buy two tickets and a motel room from Lucia, Florida to Georgia. I don't have a confirmation number, but I want these bookings canceled. I'd like to remove my name from these reservations. If needed, I will press charges against the person who used my email, but I hope to avoid that. I just want the bookings removed from my account. I have a trip booked to Japan in early June. After checking my itinerary through the link provided during the booking, it mentions a canceled flight without specifying which one. The message prompts me to take action and rebook, but there are no further details. Strangely, when I check my booking on the Air Canada website, there are no issues with any of the flights, and all the details match correctly. It seems there is conflicting information between what Expedia is showing and what Air Canada is stating about my flights.

Hello, I noticed a charge on my account for a stay at the AC Hotel in Krakow. My wife cancelled this trip, and we were informed by the hotel that there would be no charge. We also spoke to an Expedia agent who confirmed the cancellation. We are requesting a prompt refund of the charges. The booking was made under the name Suzanne Lister at the AC Hotel by Marriott in Krakow for the dates of May 4th to May 7th. Thank you, S. Lister

I contacted customer service to inquire about canceling my trip to Turkey due to safety concerns. Initially, I was informed of a $60 cancellation fee, assuming it applied to both flight and hotel. However, after further discussion, I found out the fee was solely for canceling the flight. Despite multiple assurances from Expedia representatives that my case was being considered, I spent hours on hold awaiting confirmation. Ultimately, I was promised a follow-up regarding the cancellation due to the hotel not responding, but I never received any communication. Now, I have been charged $[redacted] on my credit card for services I couldn't utilize in Turkey. Once the situation is resolved, I plan to rebook my trip through Expedia.

My 17-year-old daughter was the one who reserved the room at the Ramada where we were planning to stay due to its proximity to the hospital. We had to be close by as my dad was undergoing surgery to insert a pacemaker and defibrillator. When my daughter arrived first, they mentioned the reservation needed to be in an adult's name. Exhausted from the situation, I suggested just paying for it as it was, but when that wasn't an option, I decided to go to another hotel across the street instead.

I had reserved a car for 6 days in Costa Rica via the Expedia website with reservation number K[redacted] for pick up at San Jose International Airport. I opted for the insurance at $11 USD per day as offered. The initial price quoted was $[redacted] USD with no additional fees or taxes mentioned. However, upon reaching the Dollar office at the city center, they refused to honor the agreed-upon price and stated that the insurance I purchased was invalid. I was then coerced into paying $[redacted] USD, more than twice the initial amount. It's disheartening that the insurance offered by Generali for $11 USD was rejected by Dollar car rental. The prices post-reservation were doubled, which felt like a deceitful experience. I am seeking a refund of at least $91 USD for the Generali insurance. I purchased a bargain fare ticket from LAX to EUG for Thursday, May 18th, [redacted]. After pressing purchase, I encountered a [redacted] error, and did not receive a confirmation number or email, making me doubt if the ticket was bought. I then bought another ticket for the same flight, resulting in two tickets. I suspect a server crash caused this issue. Please kindly arrange a refund for one of the tickets. Thank you.

I tried to merge my accounts following a phone call with an agent who assured me it would be completed by May 12. I received an email instructing me to use a specific email address, but when I checked the account, I found none of my trips. I have existing hotel and car reservations and need to make more bookings. Frustrated with Expedia's customer service, I am considering exploring alternative booking options. I need to book an unaccompanied flight for my 15-year-old son from Toronto, ON to Abbotsford, BC. He is traveling alone on Thursday, July 27th, returning on Sunday, August 6th. Flair Airlines and Swoop Airlines seem to have conflicting age requirements listed on their websites. Flair allows unaccompanied minors aged 12 to 17 on non-stop flights, which applies to both legs of this trip. Swoop also permits unaccompanied minors, but I am encountering discrepancies in the age limitations provided. Can someone clarify this for me?

Upon our arrival at DFW airport, we had a reservation with Dollar Rent-A-Car. On Thursday, May 11, [redacted], we faced a three-hour wait and were informed there were no cars available. I promptly contacted Dollar Rent-A-Car to cancel our reservation and ended up paying double at another rental agency with an available vehicle and no line. Regrettably, Expedia had charged my card $[redacted].56 on Monday, May 8. I am seeking reimbursement as Dollar Rent-A-Car failed to provide a vehicle. They did cancel the reservation. On 5/06/23, I reserved a room at the Sonesta located at [redacted] West Park Drive, Charlotte, NC, through Expedia. Upon arrival, I encountered a significant issue with cockroaches and black spiders infesting the room. After informing the front desk and providing pictures, I was assured of a refund within 5-7 business days. However, it has been 8 days since then, and I have not received the reimbursement. I attempted to cancel a return flight, which I knew was refundable, 24 hours prior to the flight. Unfortunately, I could not reach an agent by phone, so I turned to the chat feature. The live chat had technical difficulties, causing delays when connecting with new agents. After finally getting assistance, I was informed that I missed the airline's cancellation deadline by an hour. Despite my efforts to cancel the day before, due to the ongoing issues, I was considered a no-show, and now I am being denied my $[redacted] refund. This situation is incredibly frustrating and disappointing, as it was largely caused by the poor service I experienced from Expedia.

On November 27, [redacted], I attempted to book a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Athens for December 20 or 21, [redacted], through Expedia. I chose Klarna for payment instead of my credit card, but encountered issues setting up the account with Klarna despite receiving codes. The Chat support was not helpful either as it required an active account. Frustrated, I canceled the booking on Expedia. The following day, I was charged a cancellation fee without any additional details provided. I have not received any booking confirmation or information from Expedia. Despite reaching out to the help center, I have yet to receive a response. Klarna, however, has been sending me requests for the flight cost with order number [redacted][redacted]. I would appreciate clarification on whether the booking was completed and why I have not been informed about it.

In October [redacted], I had to cancel a trip due to a family emergency. I was informed that I could reschedule the trip within a year. I had a booking for a roundtrip from CLT to MUC with It.# [redacted][redacted]. Now, I need to travel at the end of July from CLT to MUC and then return from Milan, Italy to CLT with a family member. Can I apply the cost of the canceled flight towards the new tickets? Alternatively, I need to book a roundtrip from CLT to MUC in October of this year, but the dates are different from the original booking. The original dates were October 11 - 16, [redacted], and this year's dates will be approximately October 17 - 23, [redacted].
