Due to the approaching Hurricane Lee, we had to cancel 2 out of 4 days at the Admiral Digby Hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel lacked a generator, and with safety being a priority, we had to leave. Upon canceling, we were informed of a $[redacted] fee, which we feel puts profit over customer safety. Can Expedia reconsider this charge on the credit card used for payment? On 9/13/23, I was charged $[redacted].90 at Cipeta Lodge in Ridgeway, CO. I did not use Expedia services for this booking. The payment was made in advance, but upon arrival, your company charged me $[redacted].90, which did not align with the room cost or any other expenses at the lodge. This discrepancy seems to be fraudulent. Upon contacting your helpline, the listed locations associated with my phone number were also unrecognized by me. I kindly request a refund of $[redacted].90 to be issued to my card.

I am frustrated with my experience with Expedia regarding my reservation at the Hampton Inn Dulles from November 23 to November 26. Initially, Expedia refused to provide a refund, but after contacting Marriott headquarters, the manager agreed to it. However, I was advised to contact Expedia to release the funds to the credit card company. Despite several attempts to do so through the website, I faced challenges with the information being repeated or not communicated effectively by the agents. I made a reservation that I believed was for Holiday Inn Express, but it turns out there was a mix-up with the payment through Expedia. The hotel advised me to cancel the original booking, Conf # [redacted]5 for September 17-19, and rebook. I was told a full refund should be possible. I booked a week-long stay in an apartment in Naples, Florida via Expedia for a VBRO property in December. The cancellation deadline was 10/31/23, but I tried to cancel on 9/16/23 without success. I spent 7.5 hours on the phone with Expedia and VRBO, but neither can cancel the reservation, claiming it must be done by the other or the owner. The owner told me to proceed with the booking and that he couldn't assist as the money is only received after the stay without penalties for cancellations. I'm at a loss for what to do next.

I made a reservation at the Best Western Plus Music Row for 9/17/23 but was told upon arrival that it was mistakenly booked for 11/26/23, which I did not do. The desk clerk said it's nonrefundable. I had to pay for another room. I canceled the Nov 26 date this morning, but the email stated there would be no refund. I want my money back as I did not make a reservation for that date. There seems to be an error on your end, and I am seeking a refund for the mistaken booking.

I am in a situation where I lack the email confirmation for a hotel booking I believed I made. Despite having details of the city and hotel, I am unable to find any evidence of this booking when I attempt to confirm it. Surprisingly, the hotel informed me they have a reservation under the name Paulette G. for October 25, which I need to cancel urgently. Unfortunately, I am unable to do so directly with the hotel as I must go through Expedia. Regrettably, I am unable to reach a person at Expedia, as I do not possess an itinerary number to provide. The hotel refuses to cancel without this information, causing me distress as I have limited time to address this issue. I booked a two-night stay via Expedia at the Ramada Wyndham in Independence, Ohio for 09/17/[redacted] & 09/18/[redacted] in a double room. Upon arrival, we encountered a door that wouldn't lock, posing a security risk. The room lacked the advertised microwave, prompting a room change, only to find hair on the bathroom floor, a cup, a dried-up chicken strip, and a dirty remote with tape residue. I tried to book a room at Days Inn in Dickinson, Texas just after midnight this morning. I selected check-in and check-out dates of the 19th and 20th, planning to arrive around 1 AM. Unfortunately, upon reaching the hotel, I was unable to check-in as their check-in time is 3 PM. I only required the room from 1 AM to 8 AM. As a result, I had to find accommodation at another hotel and check in physically. I would appreciate a refund for this inconvenience.

I made a booking earlier today, entering the dates for September 19, and everything seemed fine. However, when I received the itinerary, the dates had been changed to October 3, which is incorrect. Hello, I recently discovered that the car rental office I reserved is not situated in the airport terminal and must cancel the booking. Unfortunately, I have realized that the payment is non-refundable. I have been battling a double cancer diagnosis, undergoing chemotherapy and two surgeries, which also led to needing a temporary colostomy bag. With my flight arriving just before midnight on September 22, I will not have the energy at that late hour to commute offsite. While booking a flight from Salt Lake City to Milwaukee on Expedia for $[redacted], the price increased by $[redacted] during processing. I did not proceed with the booking, but money was withdrawn from my bank account under the name "American Airlines." When I contacted their customer service, they directed me back to Expedia for resolution. The representative assured me the funds are temporarily held and will be refunded. I'm curious if this is a common issue during booking. My account was only charged for the American Airlines portion, not for the Frontier Airlines segment.

I recently cancelled a hotel reservation at Alpine Rivers Inn in Leavenworth, Washington, for 2/16-2/21 through Expedia. A representative assured me over the phone that I would receive an email with my confirmation number and a refund within 5-7 days. Unfortunately, I have not received the email yet. I never received the initial confirmation when I made the booking and the promised confirmation email for the cancellation is also missing. Despite explaining this to a representative, I was told that my account information couldn't be found without the confirmation number, and when I requested a supervisor, I was denied. I am simply requesting a copy of my cancellation confirmation to resolve this issue promptly.

I've been trying to get in touch with Expedia to cancel my reservation for five days with no luck. It's frustrating that no one is answering the phone. The virtual agent online is unresponsive and keeps asking for the same information repeatedly. I am really disappointed and may not use Expedia again for any future travel bookings. It's maddening that I can't cancel a week ahead of time.
