I received two violations for not paying tolls as my tag was not recognized by the toll stations, leading to surcharges on the violations. Despite disputing this online and with a live representative, I am still being asked to pay. The first violation was $25 for a $5 toll, totaling $30, and the second was a $50 charge for a $10.15 toll, totaling $60.15. Other toll charges with my tag went through fine, indicating an issue with these particular toll stations. I spent almost two and a half hours on hold yesterday from 3:32 p.m. to 5:58 p.m. and will try again today to address this ongoing problem.

When passing through tolls, I often see a sign asking me to contact central information. Sometimes, my E-Z Pass isn't displayed on the dashboard window because it doesn't stick well as a sticker. Despite this, it has been in place. I received an email mentioning a credit card issue with a card ending in [redacted]. However, I have no card with that ending, only a debit card. Over the past months, there were notices about my account level increasing to around $60, then recently up by another $30. If the card ending in [redacted] is old, I don't remember it. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

Concern Regarding Violation T[redacted]46 I recently received a response saying I must pay a toll and a fine for a violation I believe was in error. I used my grandson's car as my vehicle with the EZ Pass was being repaired. However, I did pay the toll and have proof of it as I picked up my car the next day and I always carry the correct change for that toll. I am very upset as I have never skipped paying a toll in my 69 years. I'm familiar with the toll amount and the location, regularly using it to take my granddaughter to work at the Hamilton Mall. I seek assistance to resolve this issue as I feel unfairly penalized. Can you help verify my payment through any available cameras in the area? Kindly advise on the next steps or whom else I can reach out to regarding this matter. Thank you. - Carol D., Somers Point, NJ

I have been attempting to contact a customer service representative for the past two weeks without success. I have been on hold for hours only to be disconnected. I am willing to pay the toll but would like the penalty to be waived, which has been something that has been done in the past through speaking with a representative. I have never encountered such issues with EzPass before. In the past, I would call and get through immediately, but now I am unable to get through at all.

I have called five or six times in the last year, but the problem has never been resolved. In June [redacted], I switched from NY EZ Pass to NJ EZ Pass because my husband (a disabled veteran) and I are disabled seniors with handicap placards. Despite providing our car plate numbers, my husband's car is always charged the standard rate, even though he only uses it for essential trips. I never encountered this issue with NY EZ Pass where customer service was more accessible. NJ EZ Pass is not fixing this problem despite multiple calls, where wait times exceed an hour. Seniors and disabled individuals shouldn't have to struggle like this. Please contact me to resolve this ongoing issue as I am losing money on each EZ Pass Bill.

I have been attempting to contact someone for months about a ticket I received, but it seems phone calls are not being answered. My transponder number is G4*[redacted]1*. Consequently, I am receiving calls from a collection agency due to this unresolved matter. I recently acquired a new vehicle with a temporary license plate. When I entered the license plate information to dispute the ticket, it shows no record of the violation.

I have noticed that the two most recent citations are not mine as I have never owned the car in question. Due to the circumstances in [redacted] with Covid, I was instructed to go through the EZ Pass without paying, with the assurance that letters would be sent to me. However, I have not received any correspondence regarding these instances. Additionally, the [redacted] citations are puzzling to me because I am diligent about paying my tolls. Despite this, there are instances where the toll does not register my payment. I find it unfair to be held responsible for this. Furthermore, I have not received any notices by mail regarding these unpaid tolls.

Good afternoon, I am a client who has an E-ZPass in New Jersey. Recently, my family and I were traveling to Connecticut, and we forgot to transfer the E-ZPass to our new car. Consequently, we received a ticket from NY Toll. After speaking with customer service representative Sandra, she suggested contacting the NJ E-ZPass to resolve the issue. I am concerned about avoiding any implications on my license, as we travel frequently to Connecticut to pick up my son. Our E-ZPass number is #[redacted][redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am inquiring about a toll violation notice I received in November for a charge at the KEYPORT toll exchange on October 17th for $0.67. Being a Florida resident with a fully loaded SunPassPro, I can confirm the toll was paid. Despite disputing the charge twice with evidence from my Florida SunPass activity statement, EZ Pass denied both appeals. One reason given for the denial was that I responded beyond the 50-day window, but the mail date of the last communication was December 13th, showing timely replies. Another reason given was the license plate state discrepancy, but as a seven-year resident of Florida now, my plates reflect that. SunPass requires the original letter to assist further. Could you kindly reissue and send me a copy? Anne Galya [redacted] Florida Shores Blvd Daytona Beach Shores, FL [redacted]

Subject: Issue with E-ZPASS Account Dear Concerned Party, I have been a loyal E-ZPASS customer using the service since [redacted] without any problems. Starting November [redacted], I noticed that payments stopped being deducted from my account. Unfortunately, I missed any notifications as I no longer check the Gmail account linked to my E-ZPASS. I am unsure why the payments ceased, and kindly request the associated toll fees of $31.80 be waived. Enclosed are the toll payments for your reference. In the future, I will establish a new payment method to avoid any further issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, S.A. ACCOUNT # [redacted][redacted]

My daughter has been using my EZ Pass transponder, # [redacted]1. In July [redacted], her car broke down, so she got a new [redacted] Toyota Matrix with license plate # M64-PPY and transferred the transponder. EZ Pass later sent me a new transponder to replace hers, which was turned off before she received the new one. She unknowingly went through two tolls with the turned-off transponder, resulting in violations. I'm looking to have these violations canceled and the tolls charged to my account. However, I'm unable to add the new car to my account due to these violations. My EZ Pass account number is [redacted]18.

I have a citation number T[redacted]98-01 from the Delaware Memorial Bridge regarding toll payment. I paid the full fare on the NJ Turnpike but only travelled three exits. Customer service initially mentioned waiving the administration fee, but I received a notice for the remaining balance, which I disputed. To avoid any further issues, I paid the fare excluding $2.17, which was deducted from my account. Although I was assured the administration fee would be waived, I am now in collections unexpectedly. This is the first time I have faced such an issue in decades. How can this situation be resolved appropriately?

Every morning and evening, I commute from Vineland, NJ, to Atlantic City, NJ. Sometimes the toll collection machines at the plaza are functional, but other times they are not. I've recently received two violations despite paying at the toll plaza. The malfunctioning collection machinery needs fixing. It's challenging to connect with a live person over the phone to report or contest these violations. There should be a dedicated phone number available for such issues. On 02/01/[redacted], around 8:40 am, I entered the AC Expressway and deposited $1.35, but the machine failed to register the payment. When I called EZpass, I encountered only automated responses and couldn't reach a customer service representative for assistance. I fear I may receive another violation due to this recurring problem.

Hello! I encountered difficulties paying tolls at the New Jersey Turnpike during a late-night drive back to CT. Despite efforts to pay online promptly, I mistakenly used the wrong website for Ezpass, resulting in overdue notices. The $12.40 toll escalated to $[redacted].40 due to administrative fees. Despite numerous attempts to dispute and contact them, I have been unable to get through. I firmly believe I should only be responsible for the original toll amount, as I genuinely tried to pay but faced challenges navigating the process due to the circumstances at that time.

I signed up as a Pennsylvania Turnpike customer on 9/13/22. I contacted NJ E-ZPass to inquire if I needed a New Jersey pass, and they advised me that I didn't. Following their instruction, I disregarded the E-ZPass mail and loaded funds into my account as suggested by the Turnpike. However, I received a collections notice for $[redacted]. NJ E-ZPass agreed to reduce it to $[redacted], then $[redacted] upon my further discussions. On the 8th of this month, I called to pay and mentioned my Turnpike account, which led to being advised by a representative to await a supervisor's call. Today, after being informed that no call was scheduled, I received one confirming it was indeed arranged. Upon speaking to the supervisor, I encountered conflicting information. I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue.

I have two vehicles in my account, a Mazda and a Toyota. I recently purchased the Mazda and had temporary license plates for about a month. I updated the temporary plate number on the EzPass website to the proper plate number the same day I received it. However, when I checked my vehicle list last week, I noticed that the plate number had reverted back to the old temporary one. I received a toll violation notice last Saturday for a date in the future. What steps should I take to resolve this issue?

I recently received a violation notice (T[redacted]63) for allegedly running a toll booth in New Jersey. My wife and I have not visited New Jersey since [redacted]; I can provide medical evidence that we were actually in Michigan at the time of the alleged violation. I have been attempting to contact someone by phone or through the website since February [redacted] in order to resolve this issue. However, I have had no luck getting through to anyone. The website is extremely difficult to navigate, and the phone numbers provided are not helpful at all.

I'm experiencing issues with my university pass not being recognized by the New Jersey E-ZPass system. While traveling on various roads like 95, there haven't been any problems, but when crossing the Ben Franklin Bridge, I keep receiving violations for a license plate with the number S0CAL K0WAL1. I've contacted them previously, and they noted that the "O" in SoCal should be a zero and would correct it. However, I'm still receiving violation notices despite attempting to resolve this by paying the unpaid E-ZPass fees. This issue started about six weeks ago after a year and a half of no problems with the same license plate.

I need to update the credit card linked to my account. However, when attempting to follow the instructions on the www.ezpassnj.com website, I am unable to log in. The system does not recognize the account number on my statement, and I cannot reset my password or username. The hold time for the phone line (1-[redacted]) is over 40 minutes. I have tried multiple times to resolve this issue, checking my inputs carefully. I also attempted to use my license plate number, but the online system only allows digits, although license plates contain both letters and numbers. Any assistance in overcoming this difficulty would be appreciated.

I am currently disputing three violations online through EZPass in another state. The violations are being incorrectly flagged for reasons that are not valid. It has not been 50 days, my license plate and state are in the EZPass system, and my account has enough funds to cover the tolls. My son mistakenly used his toll pass in NJ, not realizing it wouldn't work there. Unfortunately, it's been challenging to reach a human representative via the phone system. The violation numbers are: T[redacted]52, T[redacted]06, and T[redacted]29. I hope for assistance to pay the tolls and have the $50 fees waived due to this misunderstanding. Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. -Shari M. Plate: 939YMA
