Since Monday night, March 4th, my XP hasn't increased on my leader screen in German. I emailed Duo early this morning, March 8th, and haven't heard back from them, and the issue remains unresolved. Today, after achieving 20XP, my streak should have reached [redacted] days, but the app didn't acknowledge it. I enjoy using Duolingo, particularly for learning Spanish, but it's frustrating to lose my streak due to a technical issue. Hello, I wanted to bring to your attention that I received three messages this past week from Duolingo starting on March 11, [redacted]. The messages have the name "Annalise" in them, but that is not my name. It seems like someone else might be using my email address, [redacted] I have never had any prior contact with Duolingo before these messages. I first reported this issue on March 12, [redacted], but unfortunately, nothing has been done to address it. I am concerned that someone might be attempting to hack into my account, and I kindly request that you delete this account associated with my email. Dear Support, I recently revisited my Duolingo app on my phone to resume my French studies. While using the app, I was repeatedly prompted to try Duolingo Plus, so I decided to start the 7-day free trial. After about two days of using the Plus version, I found it interesting, but unfortunately, I couldn't afford to continue with the paid version. I attempted to cancel it through my Apple account, but it didn't go through, and a few days later, I was charged $10.69 by Apple for Duolingo Plus. I reached out to Apple support via email and phone, but they mentioned they were unable to make any changes. I am a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design and have limited funds, as I still need to purchase supplies for my classes. I kindly request a prompt response regarding a refund. Thank you.

I encountered an issue with my Duolingo lessons. After completing only one lesson, my app froze and saved my progress at around [redacted] points. When attempting the second lesson, the system prompted me to pay $13.99 to maintain a [redacted]-day streak, which isn't accurate. Despite having Duolingo Plus and streak repair, I hadn't actually broken my streak. I couldn't find a way to reach customer service for assistance. The streak repair feature shouldn't have needed fixing prematurely, as I still had time to complete my lessons. I request a refund of the $13.99 as this experience was frustrating. I value the courses provided but encountered a glitch in the system that led to this inconvenience. I am anticipating a prompt refund.

I have reached level 3 in 'plurals' and tried typing in 'kadinlar' for women, but it was marked as incorrect even though it's the correct version. The same issue occurred with 'kizlar'. This obstacle prevents me from progressing, forcing me to restart. How can I overcome this incorrect correction? I am considering upgrading my Duolingo account after a few weeks of practice, but these recurrent problems worry me.

I started a week trial on Duolingo that turned into a paid subscription. I couldn't cancel the renewal on my device, and it charged £8.99 from my account. I had only £10 left in my account and really needed this money. I haven't used the app since it renewed. Can I get a refund, please?

After finishing the Irish course, I am unable to redo or practice it on the site. I kindly request a reset so I can access the course again without receiving any reminders. I do not wish to have my phone number shared with any distribution list to avoid receiving irrelevant texts and potential security risks. My goal is to focus on practicing the course, not engaging with unfamiliar individuals or hackers. I believe sharing personal information like my ID or phone number should not be mandatory to utilize the course. Please reset my Irish course and refrain from disclosing my phone number to any distribution lists. Please note that I avoid using email due to privacy concerns.

I accidentally logged myself out while almost finishing the beginners section. I had to create a new account, which was frustrating as I had to start over. I had Duolingo Plus on my first account, but since I couldn't access it, there was no point in keeping it. I tried to delete it but got logged out again. I've made progress this time and don't want to start over again. When I try to log in with my first account details, it says it can't log me in right now. It's been days with no access. I enjoy using Duolingo, but it's becoming a challenge. Any advice on how to resolve this issue?

My chat keeps disappearing after being restored. This happened again the next day. How can I prevent this issue? I was disappointed with Duolingo's service and rated it poorly. I am wondering why there is such a significant difference between using Duolingo on my iPhone compared to my Android device. On my iPhone, I lose hearts when I make mistakes, making it feel more like a game than a learning tool. It can be frustrating when Duolingo is very strict on spelling, especially if minor details like misspelling a name cause me to lose a heart, seemingly unrelated to language learning. Sometimes, inconsistencies arise when translating simple phrases like "uso" to "use," resulting in losing a heart. Additionally, accessing discussions to seek clarification seems easier on Android than on iPhone. It is also challenging to find a way to reach out to Duolingo for support. Despite these issues, I appreciate the app's usefulness for learning. I hope for explanations on why there are discrepancies between platforms and why certain functionalities are limited on iPhone.

A year ago, I purchased a twelve-month subscription to Duolingo Plus, unaware that the payment would be taken all at once. I was quite upset and remember frantically canceling the subscription. Now, twelve months later, I have been charged for another annual subscription that I did not authorize or intend to renew. I am seeking a full refund as I was not informed about this charge, and I cannot justify spending this amount on a service I did not plan to continue using. I selected the yearly payment option assuming I would be charged $7.99 per month after the trial. However, I was billed the full $86.59 upfront, which is difficult for me financially. I promptly canceled my subscription via iTunes and seek a refund. The unexpected charge has disrupted my budget, and I prefer to pay monthly as originally intended. I have some lessons saved as documents with all the explanations like this: Definite Article The definite article is used to identify things or people previously mentioned in the conversation. Here is a comparison table. Italian Spanish il / lo el la la gli / i los le las The masculine singular article Lo is used in the following cases: • When the word starts with one of the last three letters of the alphabet: x, y, z. EXAMPLE - LO ZUCCHERO (SUGAR) - LO ZOO (THE ZOO) • When the word starts with gn. EXAMPLE - LO GNOMO (THE GOBLIN) • When the word starts with s+consonant EXAMPLE - LO SQUALO (THE SHARK) For all other cases, use il. But I cannot recall how I did it. I would like to organize all the lessons in the same way. Any advice would be appreciated.

Dear Duolingo team, I am currently studying Latin using your platform, and overall, my experience has been positive. However, I have encountered a problematic sentence in the lesson on "parents." Specifically, I disagree with the sentence "the woman has a wife." I believe that such sentences with homosexual themes are unnecessary and may make some users uncomfortable, as not everyone supports such views. I suggest reconsidering the inclusion of such content in the Latin course, as it can clash with users' beliefs. My eight-year-old daughter came across course content that is too mature for her, specifically a story she read featuring a lesbian couple on their honeymoon. I am concerned that while certain inflammatory words are removed in children's accounts, sexually mature scenarios are included, causing confusion for young children. I am not ready to discuss gay relationships with my daughter at her age and feel that my parental rights were disregarded by introducing such topics prematurely. I would appreciate information on other course stories that might be inappropriate for children so I can screen them myself, but this task is time-consuming. As a result, my daughter's use of your language course will be limited.

I've been using an account for a few months under the name Danni Lov at [redacted] Recently, I also discovered another account under the name Danni Love 2, which I hadn't used until yesterday due to login frustrations. My issue now is that all my work is on the Danni Lov account, and I want to keep it. I attempted to delete the Danni Love 2 account yesterday, but it's still active. Unfortunately, I can't seem to change my password to access the Danni Lov account with [redacted] Additionally, there's another email [redacted] that I'm not familiar with and don't use.
