Hello Pam, I just wanted to express my gratitude for the opportunity to work at the shed. Working there has been one of the best experiences in my 39 years. I owe it all to my best friend Crystal who believed in me and gave me this chance to work in a field I never thought I could. However, the situation has taken a turn, and it saddens me. Crystal's hard work and dedication to the store seem to be at risk now. It hurts to see everything she built possibly crumbling due to unforeseen circumstances. The recent changes at the store might deter loyal customers, and I fear the unique atmosphere Crystal created might be lost. It's disheartening to witness the potential downfall of something she put her heart into. I hope for the best for the store moving forward. Take care and stay blessed.

I have been working at the store on Mound Road for over 30 years and have put a lot of effort into creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Unfortunately, recent changes in management have left me feeling unappreciated and disillusioned. The current manager, Brittany F., has allegedly made false accusations against multiple employees, including myself and two other managers. This behavior is unacceptable, and it is disheartening to see the store's positive environment eroded by such actions.
I have tried to advocate for positive changes within the store, supporting the previous manager, Crystal, in her efforts to improve the store and customer experience. However, it seems like these efforts have gone unnoticed or unaddressed by higher management. The lack of support and accountability for problematic employees, including one who is allegedly stealing, is deeply concerning.
Overall, I feel let down by the management's lack of action and care for the well-being of the store and its employees. It is disappointing to see a place where I once felt at home and hopeful for the future now filled with discord and disregard.

I encountered multiple issues at the Dollar General on Divinity Street in Bristol, CT [redacted]. During one visit, an employee accused me of stealing in front of other customers. The manager later apologized and admitted that the accused person in the video did not resemble me. Despite this, the same employee refused to adjust the price of items I wanted to purchase, which led to a confrontation and being asked to leave the store. This treatment was unprofessional and humiliating. Despite my frustration, I had to seek the items I needed at a different store. These experiences have left me very upset, and I will not be returning to the Dollar General at that location.

I have been a loyal customer of the Dollar General in Satsuma, Alabama for many years due to its convenience in our small town. I prefer to pay by check rather than using a credit card. However, for over two months, the store has been unable to process checks which has caused me inconvenience. I am puzzled as to why it is taking so long to repair or replace the check verification machine. It would be greatly appreciated if Dollar General could prioritize fixing or replacing this machine to accommodate customers who prefer paying by check.

I am a loyal customer who has frequented this store since it opened. However, today's experience with an employee named Maria was beyond disrespectful. I am outraged by the treatment I received, especially considering how much money I spend at your establishment. Despite just loading money onto my cash app and making a purchase, I was treated poorly by Maria. I feel like I was treated unfairly, and I am considering escalating this issue to the news if it is not addressed promptly. The incident occurred at the Dollar General store located at [redacted] CR [redacted]. I urge you to take appropriate action regarding this matter before I take further steps to ensure it is resolved.

On 3/3/23, I visited a Dollar General in Frankfort, NY, hoping to take advantage of the great deals that were on offer. I was disappointed to find that my coupons didn't apply to my purchases initially. After returning to the store and receiving assistance from the same helpful lady who had cashed me out before, I was able to get some of my coupons applied. However, upon checking my receipt at home, I noticed that not all of my coupons had been deducted from the total. I'm an experienced coupon user and know what discounts I should have received. I have kept all my receipts - the original, the one for the returned items, and the latest one showing the issue with the coupons. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me promptly as I believe I am owed money.

I am trying to confirm if the items that are already discounted with markdown prices should have an additional 50% off. The store only applied a 50% discount to the initial markdown instead of an extra 50% off. I want to make sure I understood the sale correctly before returning the items. The sign indicated there should be an extra 50% off the markdown price, but I only received the products at the markdown price without the additional discount.

I have a Cigna Healthy Today Card, and recently I tried to make a purchase at the Dollar General store that exceeded the balance on my card. The cashier had to call a manager to void the transaction. The manager said $71.00 would be refunded to my card. It's been over a week, and the money has not been refunded yet. Cigna has proof of the transaction, but they say it's up to Dollar General to put the money back on my card. The manager at the store in Escatawpa, MS, said that's all she can do. I have my card with me and really need this issue resolved quickly as I need the $71.00 for essentials. Thank you.

I visited Dollar General and had an issue with my EBT card during checkout. The cashier accidentally completed the transaction instead of canceling it as requested. The $[redacted].85 charge from my EBT card needs to be refunded due to the error. I am waiting for the refund to be processed back onto my card.

The store's appearance is concerning. After being closed for a week to restock, shelves remain empty and carts are left in other aisles. Since reopening, the entire milk aisle is barren, with no cereal or sugar available. Additionally, half of the frozen foods section is completely empty. It seems that the store's inventory management is lacking, as staff mention they do not order products but receive them. This poor operation is evident at the Rock Hall, MD, store, while the Chestertown and Worton locations appear to be better maintained.

I am disappointed with the current state of the store. It was closed for a week to restock shelves, but shortly after reopening, the milk aisle was completely empty with minimal cereal boxes. The absence of sugar is also concerning. As a former manager at a large food store, I understand that this is not acceptable. I was assured that someone would reach out to me within 24 hours, but I have not received any contact. My family and I are regular customers who spend a significant amount at the store, and we would greatly appreciate it if the shelves were consistently stocked as expected.

The store near my house has been disappointing. I inquired with the cashier about the advertised price before I made my purchase, and she confirmed it. However, when I got to my car, I noticed it wasn't applied. I had to return inside, but the refund wasn't immediately credited back to my card. As I went back in, I noticed that none of the coupons were deducted. I was frustrated and didn't want to go back in again, only to be told they couldn't adjust the price because it wasn't their policy.

I reside in Salina, Oklahoma [redacted], where the Dollar General Store serves as our primary source for daily necessities. Given that the nearest town is a 20-30 minute drive away, I heavily depend on DG for all my needs, including bill payments. For many years, I have utilized DG as my main location for loading funds onto my debit cards. Recently, I discovered the option to fund my Cash App at DG, allowing me to manage essential expenses like cell phone bills, car insurance, utilities, and online purchases. Despite being a single parent to three energetic boys, I have efficiently budgeted by loading cash onto my Cash App every Friday. Regrettably, the staff's unhelpful attitude and the store's switch to card-only self-checkout due to "fried" registers have caused difficulties in accessing my funds. This situation jeopardizes my ability to pay for utilities, placing my household at risk.

There was a line at the checkout, and I needed help with the self-checkout. While we were all waiting in line, the manager and an older male employee were chatting by the exit. When I mentioned there was a line, the manager rudely explained that she was putting merchandise up. A few days prior, the older gentleman tried to keep my coupon receipt along with others. It is important to monitor your employees and prevent such incidents. Additionally, there are no signs for sale items or a clearance section despite having a $1 section. The store appears disorganized with impolite staff. This experience occurred today at 4 pm at the Waukesha Swiss [redacted] location. It would be beneficial to review the camera footage of the employees rather than the customers.

I was at Dollar General store (#[redacted]) in Cullman, AL last Friday. While looking at pictures/paintings, one fell dangerously close to me from the 2nd shelf. I had to dodge it as more started falling. Luckily, a customer passing by helped me prevent another large one from hitting me. Realizing the poor and unsafe display, I informed a stocking employee about the incident on my way to check out. Despite apologizing, the employee continued with stocking items.

I would like a refund for my transaction at Store #[redacted], please. The store is quite dirty, and the management seems lacking. It took about 10 minutes before an employee appeared, which was disconcerting. The items were hard to locate as the shelves were disorganized. Upon checkout, the transaction was not processed correctly, and I am still awaiting my refund. I suggest improving the quality of employees and management at this store promptly, as it reflects poorly on your company.

Hello, my name is Melissa Fleming, and I wanted to share my experience regarding your store at [redacted] Brandon Ave Southwest in Roanoke, VA [redacted]. I visited the store recently, and unfortunately, it has been closed for three months. During my last visit, the condition inside was appalling. The aisles were so crowded that it was difficult to walk through the store. It was clear that the store needed a thorough cleaning, and there seemed to be a lack of employees available. I used to enjoy shopping at this location, but now it has become almost impossible to navigate due to its poor condition. Action must be taken to address these issues promptly to avoid the possibility of closure. Additionally, items were scattered all over the store, further adding to the disarray.

I recently experienced multiple overcharges at the store in Carrollton, IL. The dirt bag priced at $3.50 was charged at $4, and the Folgers Coffee that was on sale weeks ago was charged at full price. When I brought this to the attention of a young lady at the counter, she gave me a rude look as if I was inconveniencing her. The only person who made me feel welcome in the store is a lady named Amy. Unfortunately, the young lady did not rectify the situation, and I was still overcharged. I believe the store needs to improve its customer service and learn how to work with the public. Due to these issues, I am considering shopping in a nearby town instead. Thank you for your time.

The DG store in Maquoketa, Iowa, is in very poor condition. I even have photos to prove it. Navigating through the store is a challenge due to merchandise cluttering the aisles, outdated food items are on the shelves, and there are U-boats and empty box carts scattered throughout. The cleanliness of the store is unacceptable, with even the bathroom in terrible condition. Items are not correctly marked, leading to issues at the checkout. The back room is overcrowded, leading to outdated items being left in the cooler. This decline in store organization began during a recent reset. When I was the assistant manager, we ensured the store was well-maintained, with deliveries arriving early in the morning or late in the evening, items properly stocked, and broken boxes promptly removed from the sales floor.

Today, I had a distressing experience at the store located at [redacted] Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, AL [redacted]. While shopping, an employee named Cocoa accused me of stealing makeup, which is completely false. I frequent this store daily for groceries and household items, always heading straight to the protein chips aisle. I am disabled, wear a back brace, and do not wear makeup. Despite explaining this to Cocoa and expressing my innocence, she insisted that I had taken something from a makeup aisle. I asked to see any evidence, like a video, but she refused. It's disheartening to be falsely accused without any proof or apology, especially when there were other individuals of my race present in the store.
