I sent in my rebate for the DeWalt tool to receive two free batteries and a charger. After eight to nine weeks, I followed up and was informed of delays due to Covid. However, after an additional three weeks passed, I had to resend my submission as they had no record of it. It has now been nearly three months, and despite contacting customer service multiple times, I have yet to receive the batteries. I believe they should expedite my request.

Recently, I purchased 4 Dewalt drill bits: 1 in 3/8 x 12 and 3 in 1/2 x 12. I first used the 3/8 bit for an initial hole but realized it was very close to 1/2. The 3/8 worked well, but the first 1/2 bit broke at the tip. I contacted Dewalt, who promptly replaced the broken bit and another that failed to drill. I requested a 1/4 and a 5/8 bit, already having the 3/8 and 1/2 sizes. Today, UPS delivered the new bits, and they performed perfectly. Dewalt's customer service and product quality have earned my trust. I've been a loyal Dewalt user for 20 years, switching from Makita due to Dewalt's consistency and excellent service. If Dewalt doesn't have a tool I need, I patiently wait for them to release it in their signature yellow and black branding. I appreciate Dewalt's commitment to customer satisfaction and product excellence. Charlie Swindall, also known as Gladhatter, thanks Dewalt for their outstanding products and service.

Last spring, I purchased an impact driver set from Lowes. Unfortunately, after being away all summer, the driver stopped working this fall. I contacted Dewalt, and they advised me to return the driver for repair or replacement. However, after a long wait, I found out the device was sent to the wrong address at [redacted] East Choctawhatchee Drive, Niceville, FL [redacted]. I reiterated my correct address, [redacted] East Choctawhatchee Drive, Niceville, FL [redacted], in November. Despite thinking there might be delays due to the holiday season, the issue remains unresolved. When trying to reach out for assistance, I was directed to a webpage where I was asked to pay $14.99 to address my concerns, which I found frustrating. I simply want my impact driver back. Thank you. - J.F.

I recently bought three different DeWalt headphones for my iPhone, including a plug-in set, a wireless set, and an extended wear/battery set. None of them are functioning correctly. The plug-in set and the first wireless set switch to another program when they detect external noise, and the microphone on the third set stopped working about two weeks ago. I can hear others fine, but they can't hear me at all. If this is the standard of quality DeWalt is going to maintain, I won't be purchasing anything from them in the future. I have over $[redacted] worth of useless headphones now, purchased from various stores, making it difficult to gather all the receipts for replacements or exchanges. Help me resolve this issue, as I am thoroughly dissatisfied with these products. - S.K.

I recently purchased a Dewalt stainless steel shop vacuum from Costco. My concern is that the electrical cord only has a 2-wire plug and lacks a ground connection. Occasionally, I get shocked when I touch the metal parts. I am hesitant to modify the plug to a 3-wire one due to warranty concerns. Safety-wise, using this vacuum near water could lead to dangerous situations and potential lawsuits. It would be beneficial if a 3-way plug unit was available for purchase to address these issues. I hope this feedback helps in avoiding any accidents. Thank you, Daniel A. from Riverside, CA.

In September [redacted], I managed to replace tools lost in Hurricane Michael. Among them, I bought a 1/2-inch cordless drill driver, XR 20 volt, along with other DeWalt tools online. However, the drill has consistently given me trouble, with the chuck not releasing small drill bits. This has led to frustration, making me develop a case of Tourette's syndrome. Unfortunately, I can't locate my receipt for repairs. Prior to the hurricane, I purchased a 13 1/2 DeWalt planer that initially worked perfectly but soon malfunctioned. Despite this, I wasn't sad when it was damaged by the hurricane. I am unimpressed with DeWalt's tool quality and have decided to switch to Ridgid for future purchases. Thank you for hearing me out.

Yesterday, I purchased the Dewalt DW735. Today, when I tried using it to build cabinets for a customer, I noticed the rollers were not pulling the board through correctly after the first pass. I thought they might need cleaning, but upon inspection, I discovered the front roller was split and coming apart. It's quite frustrating and disappointing because the nearest store is a 30 to 45 minute drive away. I have been using Dewalt tools for over 30 years without encountering such a significant issue, which is why I have been loyal to the brand. I'm unsure if I should return this one and exchange it for another Dewalt product or consider switching to a different brand.

I recently purchased new DeWalt and Craftsman products and decided to create a registration account for warranty support and proof of ownership, as recommended. All items registered successfully, except for my gas power washer, which is labeled as DXPW3324. I reached out to customer service, but received unsatisfactory assistance. I was informed by Miguel that the power washer is not a genuine DeWalt product and therefore cannot be registered. Despite my requests, I was denied the opportunity to speak with a supervisor. The product number suggested for registration, DXPW3324, is not working. I am seeking help to register my product efficiently. Thank you, Dalton D. Jr.

I recently bought a DWE7402DI dado throat plate for my DWE7491rs table saw, but I'm experiencing an issue with the fit. The left side doesn't lower all the way down and remains elevated above the table surface. After inspecting it closely, I noticed that the plate is obstructed by the top of the dust collection shroud on the saw. The standard plate included with the saw has a recess in the bottom rim, which is missing on the dado throat plate. As a result, the rim of the dado throat plate is hitting the top of the shroud, causing the improper fit. Any advice on how to address this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have a brand new 6-hour battery that I recently tried in a saw I bought about 8 months ago, but it doesn't power any tools even though the fuel cell shows full. Due to unfortunate circumstances where my tools were stolen and burned, I only have one 2-hour battery and cannot afford to buy more. I kindly request that the defective 6-hour battery be replaced with three 2-hour batteries. I am a loyal Dewalt customer and have used various Dewalt tools throughout the years. I will continue to support Dewalt products and have more tools on my wishlist.

I have been a loyal customer of your products for over a decade, owning a wide range of your 20V cordless power tools. While I used to consider your quality to be top-notch, my experience with the DCF890 3/8 impact driver, which I rely on for 90% of my daily tasks, has been disappointing. In the past year, I have gone through three of them, and today the fourth one stopped working. This decline in quality and performance has led me to make the tough decision to switch to Milwaukee tools. I am so disappointed with the current state of your products that I'm selling off all the tools branded with your name. The misleading nature of the 20V line, which is actually 18V peaking at 20V briefly, further adds to my dissatisfaction.

I am experiencing an issue with my 18-gauge Dewalt brad nailer. The latch at the top, which is supposed to keep it closed while nailing, is broken. I have temporarily secured it with a zip tie, but there seems to be a broken part inside. I got this nailer in [redacted], and I believe it should still be under warranty. I would like to get a new replacement part from my local Home Depot. Thank you.

I am experiencing an issue with my Dewalt tools. The DCB201 battery I have does not work with some of my tools like the DCL040 light, DCL050 light, DCE100 Blower, and DCD777 Drill. However, it works fine with my fan (DCE611B) and Bluetooth speaker (DCR010). I have treated the battery well, stored it indoors, and it's only about 2 years old. I have other DCB201 batteries that work with all the tools. Could this be a defective battery? Is there a warranty for this battery? I believe all 20v Dewalt batteries should be interchangeable with all my tools, considering I have many Dewalt tools. I appreciate any assistance with this matter. Thank you. - Douglas Z.

I have been using DeWalt tools in Australia since they arrived, and I am now 70 years old. Recently, I purchased a DeWalt brushless 18v grinder Model DCG406, and while it still works, I have encountered several issues with its design. The sliding key mechanism in the arbor requires a multi-shift tool to disengage the grinding wheel, the safety trigger mechanism is cumbersome, and the battery connection to both the grinder and charger is not user-friendly. Although the unit is under warranty, I believe these are design flaws that should be addressed. I am a loyal DeWalt customer and appreciate the quality of your products, but I would like the opportunity to exchange this grinder for a model without these faults. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, P. C.

I recently received the new Tstak organizer model DWST17805 and noticed some differences from my other cases. The locking piece under the handle is missing, the deep pockets under the removable bins for extra storage and bits are not there, and there is no dedicated area for bits in the front of the case. I am disappointed with these changes and prefer the DWST14825, which is a more affordable DeWalt organizer that offers better features like water resistance, a built-in handle, and configurable inside bins. Although it's not Tstak, it provides better value. I hope to see improvements in all DeWalt products in the future.

Hello, my name is Ryan Stewart. I work as a general contractor and I rely heavily on DeWalt tools for my projects. Recently, I've encountered some significant issues with some of my tools, hindering my work efficiency. After speaking to a few representatives at my local Home Depot, they advised me to reach out to the DeWalt team via email. As a dedicated DeWalt customer who has invested a substantial amount in your tools, storage, and accessories, I am hopeful that there might be a solution to address my current tool performance challenges. Despite considering a switch to Milwaukee, I'm reaching out to you first in the hope that we can resolve these issues and maintain my loyalty to the DeWalt brand. I truly value the quality and reliability of DeWalt products, and I'm committed to finding a resolution before exploring other alternatives. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I want to share an issue I had with a Dewalt DC616 finishing nailer that stopped working. The Dewalt factory service center refused to fix it without explanation. The nailer ceased working after I installed a new battery, which was the same type as the original one. A friend used the same battery, albeit several years old, in their nailer without issues, indicating that the problem lies with the battery. I tested the new battery in different Dewalt tools that use an 18V battery, and it worked, so it seems the new battery differs somehow from the original, causing it not to function in the nailer. Despite reaching out to Stanley Black & Decker's customer service repeatedly to understand the issue, I am consistently directed to a service center. I have requested to speak with someone in a supervisory role who can assist me, but have not received any further assistance. I am uncertain how to locate the appropriate contact at SB&D.

I reached out to customer service to inquire about the latest 1/4 impact driver and its power. I mentioned I had multiple models and was looking to purchase a new one. The representative struggled with English but asked for my contact information. I explained my interest in the newest model and willingness to wait for its release. Although I mentioned the dcf [redacted], I emphasized my desire to acquire the most up-to-date version. When I requested to speak with a tech or R&D specialist, she declined. I stressed my preference for the newest, most powerful model regardless of cost. While I am not wealthy, I was advised to monitor the website for updates. I am still awaiting clarification and aim to avoid regretting my purchase. I am eager for information on Dewalt's latest 1/4 impact driver as of 11/10/22 or upcoming releases. Thank you for your assistance and understanding.

Around a year ago, I purchased a DCHJO76ABD1-2x for myself and another one for my daughter. Unfortunately, my battery appears to be malfunctioning after only a few uses, as it does not hold a charge. I have tried different batteries and chargers, but my battery remains completely dead. Considering the cost of these coats was $[redacted] each, I would expect the battery to last longer. Since my daughter's battery is working fine, I suspect I may have received a defective one. Could you kindly replace the faulty battery free of charge? I rely on this for hunting and ice fishing, so a prompt response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
