I recently renewed my Medicaid coverage but mistakenly thought it was also for SNAP benefits as the deadlines were close. Now my family has Medicaid but no SNAP benefits. I'm unable to reapply on the access page as it shows my SNAP case as closed. We are struggling to have enough food at home, and I've had to seek help from family. I am trying to reach a live person, but the system keeps telling me to call back later. I am having trouble accessing my case. In June, I received $[redacted] in assistance. Initially, I included my son, Jason, his girlfriend, Sarah, and my other kids on the case. However, after a call from your team to Sarah and Jason on the same day, I believe I updated the case to only include me and my other son. DCF contacted them the same day for something specific. Although food stamps were supposed to be available from June 24th, they do not appear in the system, and I did not receive them for July [redacted].

I have been receiving Medicaid for my granddaughter due to her medical needs and also Medicare savings for years. I completed my recertification on June 20, [redacted], but I still haven't received any updates. I am 75 years old and have undergone two spine surgeries, resulting in 20 screws and 2 rods in my back. I also reported that my 8-month pregnant granddaughter is living with me to ensure she continues to receive Medicaid. Despite numerous calls for assistance, I have not made any progress. My insurance coverage is expiring soon, and the lack of resolution is causing me stress. I submitted an application for cash assistance for my daughter since her father is incarcerated for 2 to 3 years and unable to provide child support. I completed an online work registration requirement and now need to send proof of it. I'm unsure if I should email, mail, or fax the documents. I recently lost my full Medicaid coverage due to a child support appointment, but I have resolved this issue. I am currently in a drug treatment program at New Seasons and am under family planning services. I was assured my coverage would be switched back, but it has not been done yet. My treatment is crucial, and I take prescribed medication daily. I desperately need my full Medicaid reinstated to continue my treatment and support my family. I have been trying to contact Medicaid multiple times this week, but have not been successful in getting my coverage back with Sunshine Health and New Seasons Treatment Center.

I've been attempting to contact the department for several weeks without success. My food stamp benefits have been delayed for two months due to submitting my income verification a day late. I submitted my food stamp application on 7/7/23, completed the interview, and was informed that I should receive them within 7-10 days, but I still haven't received them. I have submitted all the requested information but have not received any updates. Additionally, I was approved for emergency food stamps on 6/15/23, received a verification request, provided the documents again, and had to reapply nonetheless. After an interview on 7/14/23, I resubmitted the necessary verification documents. I'm also uncertain if I should have received PEBT benefits for May and June since I have two children under 18.

I recently received a letter informing me that this is my final month for food assistance. I have diligently tried to reapply, completing the application and submitting all necessary documents, but I have yet to receive any assistance. Despite redoing the process and sending everything in again, no funds were ever deposited into my card. Now, I am puzzled as to why I am being informed about my last month of assistance when I have not received any support since the beginning of the year. I have been in dire need of this aid, but have been unable to reach anyone over the phone. I consistently filled out applications and provided the requested documents, to no avail.

I submitted my renewal almost a month ago, and the amount was calculated correctly as shown on the access login page. However, the certification dates were incorrectly entered stating 81/[redacted] to 7/31/[redacted] instead of [redacted]. It now asks for technical verification. I checked for any required forms or correspondence, but found none. The last letter I received was an expiration notice. My benefits are scheduled to come on the 11th, and I depend on them as a person with disabilities on SSI. I urgently need this technical issue corrected to continue receiving benefits that I have relied on for years.

I recently applied for food stamps and submitted all required documents for verification. I was informed that if I wasn't approved by August 14th, I should contact a representative. However, I have been unable to reach anyone via phone despite multiple attempts. The recorded message instructs me to press 1 for information or call back later, but I am unable to wait in line as I did previously. Hello. I missed renewing my EBT by about a week. I reapplied for both EBT and TCA 45-60 days ago, but my application seems to be stalled due to a request for proof of vaccinations for children under five, which I don't have as my youngest child is 13. I've tried calling multiple numbers multiple times, but keep getting disconnected. I uploaded a letter explaining my situation and the required form with an explanation that I have no children under five. I need assistance removing a sanction from my account. I have received conflicting information about the reasons for the sanction, including incarceration, non-compliance with child support, and work rule violations. None of these reasons apply to my situation. I am currently homeless, taking care of my two children, with limited transportation options. I am currently on disability and have a very fixed income. My children and I were denied food stamps. My daughter, who is a full-time student at Full Sail University, also had her benefits denied despite providing proof of her student status. I provided proof of my son's employment and he was still denied. Furthermore, my 19-year-old daughter's Medicaid program was changed, which is problematic as she has lifelong health conditions requiring multiple prescriptions and specialist visits. Balancing food and utility costs is a struggle, and despite numerous reapplications and calls to the automated system, my issues remain unresolved. The inaccurate information on the system and outdated website make it difficult to apply, adding to the frustration. I have not received food stamps since June 18, [redacted], yet the system claims otherwise. The Department of Children and Families' system is causing significant distress and impacting my health. It's distressing to have to choose between feeding my family and other essentials. I urge for assistance and resolution of these issues.
