Hello, I am having issues with the verification process taking longer than expected. The call center has been difficult to reach, often hanging up on me. After submitting my information for the Aug 14, [redacted] deadline, I couldn't confirm if my documents were received due to high call volume. When I finally got through, I was informed that the fax was unclear and had to resend the documents. Despite trying to call the same day, I was disconnected again. Days later, I was told to reapply because I missed the deadline. I have now reapplied, and online it shows that all documents were received. I hope for a quicker verification process since all the necessary documents are in my file. The delay in communication from DCF has been frustrating, and I hope for a more efficient process moving forward. Thank you, Teresa G. Case# [redacted]

I received a letter regarding food assistance from the Access Center with a Notice of Interim Review. They enclosed a form that I filled out and returned promptly. Additionally, they mentioned the option to renew benefits online through my Access account, which I completed due to the upcoming deadline and potential internet disruptions from the approaching hurricane. Therefore, I submitted the online renewal as a precaution. My case number is [redacted] for Corinna Gaster. I can be reached at telephone number [redacted] or via email at [redacted] I have received an automated confirmation with the number [redacted]29 for my online application. If there are any details missing or checkboxes unchecked, please feel free to reach out to me.

Hello, I am Gwendolyn J from Spanish Fort, AL. I recently visited the Baldwin County Food Stamps office in Robertsdale, AL. They mentioned a closing date for my food stamps, but I have never lived in Florida. Someone has misused my personal information including my date of birth and Social Security number. I have not received any food stamps since [redacted]. The person responsible for this situation has caused harm to both the authorities and me. My address is [redacted] Cemetery Road, Spanish Fort, AL [redacted]. Please assist me by sending a closing letter. Thank you for your help. Please keep me updated on any progress. Thank you, Gwendolyn J G.

I submitted my benefit application on 7/13/23 and have faxed all requested documents. Despite this, my case remains pending. I attempted to contact customer service nine times in the past week, but have been unable to speak to anyone or be placed on hold. I am in a situation with no income and urgently need this issue resolved. I am uncertain if additional information is required from me. Any assistance in expediting this process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Tina M. [redacted]

Good morning everyone, I am a new Medicaid member and I am in need of my Medicaid member gold card to be sent to my address on file. I have recently joined Medicaid around 2 weeks ago, so I am new to the process. I am looking to speak with a customer service representative promptly. In an effort to avoid long wait times, I am calling early in hopes of getting a quick response. If possible, please contact me back at [redacted]. I will be anticipating your call back. Thank you.

I have applied multiple times, but I was denied due to verification issues, interviews, and my grandmother's outdated Medicare application, which was automatically resubmitted as we live together. We have addressed these concerns, but I am unable to reach someone by phone to confirm if the steps taken will enable me to proceed with my benefits. Visiting the office is inconvenient, as it requires a significant amount of time and I fear not receiving any answers or solutions. I kindly request prompt contact to assist me. Thank you.

I applied for food stamps because I am pregnant and currently not employed. I live with my boyfriend, who covers all my expenses, and we split food costs. Although our combined income places us at [redacted]% of the federal poverty level, the approved amount for my food stamps seems lower than expected. I am aware of someone who earned twice as much as our combined income and received a higher benefit. I seek clarification on why my benefit amount is lower in comparison.

I've been approved for medical benefits for my children and me. I have medical cards for them, but nothing for myself. I need to see a doctor, but I don't have an insurance card. There's no information online or a way to inquire about this online. I can't reach anyone on the phone. What should I do?

I recently lost my job and applied for cash assistance and recertification for SNAP benefits through the Department of Children and Families. I had all my documents submitted on time, except for the last piece due to an old case number issue from [redacted] that was in the system. With help from OSST, DCF was informed about the system error, and the next day I was able to register and provide the missing information. However, I have now received a letter stating I was not approved due to non-compliance. I began the process in July, and the deadline for recertification was 8-31-23, with a compliance deadline of 9-5-23. I managed to log in on the 6th. Despite visiting the DCF office three times, making three phone calls for verification, and providing proof through the email sent, I don't understand why I'm being told I'm ineligible due to non-compliance.

I keep getting denied for benefits due to non-compliance with child support, but in reality, I am complying. The issue is that I am unaware of the father's identity due to the circumstances of my conception. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to locate him. This situation has left me without the necessary cash assistance, and my food stamp benefits have been significantly reduced. It has made it challenging to make ends meet each week. I make an effort to visit food banks to supplement my groceries when possible.

I was informed by a representative that my benefits were denied due to missing paperwork. I was advised to submit the necessary documents for renewals and additional benefits. Today, I have attempted to contact the office since 8 am but have been unable to reach the representative as all calls are being directed to call back later. It is crucial that I speak with someone today regarding this matter. Thank you.

I applied for food stamps while pregnant but lost my job due to being unable to work because of my pregnancy. I used to work as a tow truck driver, but I have been out of work for over 4 weeks since being released by workers' compensation. I am currently without a job or insurance. I can provide a letter confirming my employment status, and I am struggling to afford groceries as I haven't received a paycheck in over a month.

I called after my case was declined and spoke with several representatives. The last one, on a Friday, advised me that she had deleted the application and told me to resubmit. Unfortunately, I was upset to discover that I was still listed under three incomes. I explained that I have exhausted my unemployment benefits, stopped working for Instacart, and had my babysitter provide verification. Due to difficulties with Instacart, I now work for Marriott International and have submitted all my income information as I am paid weekly from August and September. I kindly request a review of my income details. My monthly expenses include $[redacted] for rent, nearly $[redacted] for electricity, a $65 cellphone bill, car insurance (which I recently paid off on June 12, [redacted]), $[redacted] for internet (since I work from home). I am struggling to make ends meet with an income of $[redacted] a month and cannot afford to add food expenses. Your assistance is greatly appreciated as I have two school-age children.

I rely on DCF to cover my monthly premium, but there was an error. I renewed to share the cost, with the state covering $[redacted]. However, they mistakenly deducted my premiums until September from my recent check. I need reimbursement for the three months' premiums mistakenly taken out. After contacting Ms. Gonzalez, she wrongly claimed that Social Security should cover it, but historically, DCF has always provided this assistance as per my past applications. DCF needs to address this promptly, as my next payment is impending. Please reach out to me urgently at [redacted].

I applied for benefits due on 9/15 and submitted it on 9/16. I was expecting EBT food stamp benefits by 10/13. However, when I log into my account, it shows "closed" and no benefit date is listed. How can I renew my benefits? Do I need to go through an interview? Who should I contact to reopen my case and ensure I receive benefits by 10/30?

I completed my recertification paperwork, but received an email requesting additional proof of income. I submitted a new form and uploaded my husband's pay stub for one month. Due to financial constraints, we are currently without food and seeking urgent assistance. Any help with expediting the processing of my case or providing emergency funds would be greatly appreciated.

I am facing an issue as my daughter and granddaughter moved out. When I did a recertification, they were removed from food stamps but remained on my medical account. Now that they have moved back in and I did another recertification, their medical coverage is going to be canceled. My case seems to be all mixed up, and I need to speak with someone to address these problems and get everything sorted out.

Dear Sirs, I am concerned about the lack of email contact options. I recently received a Do Not Reply email from the Department of Children and Family, Access Florida Program regarding a Notice of Case Action (Ref #[redacted]8) related to My Case. Unfortunately, I cannot review it as I do not have a Case Number to log in with, and entering the reference number provided does not work. Trying to call is frustrating due to poor audio quality on the recordings and the request for my SS# over the phone is not something I am comfortable with. Can you please reach out to me accordingly? Thank you. Esther S. Díaz-Alejo Reyes

I applied for assistance from TCA but was denied due to "income too high," which is impossible as I cannot receive child support since my child's father is incarcerated. I received a letter stating I could get cash assistance through child support, completed my interview, and submitted the required documents. Despite this, after they received the forms, my application was denied. The situation doesn't make sense.
