I am unable to receive reliable service due to four tall fir trees that obstruct the satellites when the wind blows, occurring frequently. Despite two technicians visiting, they and the manager in Roseburg confirmed that nothing can be done. Unfortunately, the property owners are hesitant to cut down the trees, and the potential cost to have them removed falls on me, which is unaffordable since I live on disability income. Regrettably, I have no choice but to cancel my service and return the equipment. This decision is not ideal, but it seems like the only viable option given the circumstances.

I need to cancel the service at [redacted] Valley View Lane Apt 6, Bland, VA [redacted], as my mother, Martha Harper, has been relocated to Carrington Place assisted living nursing home. The Dish service at our other location will remain active. I handle her payments through her Sentinel Bank account and need to stop the automatic draft. I'm experiencing trouble with my Roku TV. I am able to watch Netflix and other apps on Roku, but when I try to access Safelite TV, it shows no signal. I tried contacting Dish customer support yesterday and was on hold for 8 hours without getting through. The automated message told me to wait for 45 minutes, but nobody contacted me. Although I can't watch Dish due to the no signal error, using the Dish satellite receiver through Roku works perfectly fine.

I contacted Dish customer service via email [redacted], but they mentioned they don't provide support through email and directed me to call the same contact number that I've been using, where I faced long hold times of 10 minutes or more. Here's the complaint I shared with them. I've been struggling to cancel my Dish service after not having internet at my residence for about a year, which led me to suspend my account. Recently, the suspension ended without any notice, and I've been charged for services I can't enjoy due to the internet issue. I have been trying to reach the customer service line for over three days, spending a total of seven hours on hold. I am in poor health and moving, which is why I urgently need to cancel my service. Unfortunately, during my last call, I was instructed to hold, and after waiting for an additional hour and 45 minutes, I was still not assisted. I am extremely dissatisfied with this level of customer service and will be taking further action, including contacting my attorney. We have been loyal Dish customers for over ten years. Our cable provider is enticing us to switch with a three-year price lock and a gift card. Can we also get the same deal with Dish? As senior citizens, we have never received a senior discount or free movie rentals. Can we get a discount and access to free movies with Dish? Due to our increased streaming habits, we are interested in upgrading to Hopper Plus with two additional Joey units. Can we arrange for the installation of these units? I've been experiencing connectivity issues with my wireless Joey and am considering switching to a wired connection. Can we schedule a free service visit to replace the Joey and set up new equipment? We hope these concerns can be addressed so we can continue our subscription with Dish Network.

I am a University of South Carolina graduate and fan. The games are my number one priority, which is why I always DVR them. However, I recently encountered an issue where my DVR failed to record a game until halftime. Although I manually recorded it, the system did not save the recording. I would like either a $50 credit on my bill or for Dish Network to ensure the game is uploaded for me to watch. If this matter is not resolved, I am considering canceling my account after being a loyal customer for 28 years. I have always been prompt with my payments and rarely require assistance. I recently received three boxes from Dish Network, each with a return label enclosed. After canceling my account, I packaged all the equipment for return and dropped them off at UPS. However, it appears that one of the UPS labels was a duplicate with a previously used number. Consequently, I am unable to send back the last box. I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with another label to swiftly resolve this matter. Thank you for your assistance.

Around a year ago, I contacted DISH to address my concerns about the frequent bill hikes. I was assured that if I remained a loyal customer, DISH would halt the increases. Recently, I received a notification stating that my charges were going up again. When I called last night, the representative mentioned that the system displayed the "guarantee" I was promised, but informed me that my rates would still be raised despite this assurance. After being a DISH customer for 24 years, I am incredibly frustrated by the customer service and the breach of our agreement.

I've been trying to reach a representative to cancel my service without success. Despite multiple attempts over the past week and a half, I have only been met with long hold times leading me to hang up. Even reaching out via chat on the Dish website resulted in another lengthy wait, only to be told that service cancellation can't be done through chat and must be handled over the phone. With a pending move out of state, I can't afford to spend more time on hold just to speak with someone.

My husband, who is 80, and I, at 77, are looking to trim our expenses. We are keen on the senior discount and want details about what is included in the senior package deal. I enjoy both college football and the NFL, as well as golfing. My husband prefers mystery investigations or TV shows like Blue Bloods. We are also interested in local channels (channels 3, 15, 27, and 47) for news and sports. We reside in Wisconsin [redacted] and are currently Dish customers. Issues with Transferring Phone Number from Boost Mobile I have been trying to transfer my phone number from Boost Mobile to my new carrier since 9/23/23. Despite numerous attempts and spending many hours with customer service, the issue remains unresolved. I have been given 3 ticket numbers and assured that I would receive updates via email or phone call, but I have not received any communication regarding the porting process. The customer service agent claimed to have tried contacting me, which is untrue as I am always available at home. I requested to speak with a manager or supervisor, but I was unsuccessful in reaching them. I was promised a response by the end of the day, which never materialized. I am frustrated with the lack of assistance from Boost Mobile in resolving this matter. Although I have a transfer PIN, my new carrier encountered difficulties using it during multiple attempts. I am seeking assistance to resolve this ongoing issue.

In late July [redacted], I renewed my Dish service for another 2 years at a fixed rate of $[redacted].xx per month. However, after only 12 months, the price increased by $10 per month. Despite speaking with three different representatives, I was unable to find a satisfactory solution until I spoke with Richard from Roseland, New Jersey. He informed me that there was nothing he could do regarding the price hike. This lack of assistance was disappointing, especially considering my 20-year loyalty to Dish. The initial agreement promised a consistent rate and programming for the full 24 months, but now I am being told there is a $[redacted] early termination fee due to a discrepancy in the billing details. The customer service provided during this call was extremely unsatisfactory.

Account: Charlotte Neeley. On November 1st, [redacted], I experienced issues with the remote control on the Joey. After contacting support, they sent replacements that also did not work. Service technicians installed a new Joey and remote on November 9th, [redacted]. However, on November 10th, [redacted], the remote malfunctioned briefly. Despite my request, phone support did not send technicians to troubleshoot. I feel the system has unresolved bugs that need attention. Your guidance on this matter would be appreciated.

On 1/22/[redacted], I had a service call for my buffering TV. The service technician quickly performed a soft reset and then promptly left, suggesting I call back if issues persisted. Despite being able to do resets myself, I felt unsatisfied with the brief visit and lack of resolution. During the visit, someone over the age of 18 was present. After being a loyal customer of Dish for 15 years, I am disappointed in the service received and considering switching to Direct TV.

I am looking to terminate our contract as I am unable to afford the monthly bills. In over 20 years with Dish, I have never signed a contract until recently when we had it reinstalled after moving. I was not informed by the installer that what I was signing was a contract; otherwise, I would have declined the service. My spouse and I are in our 80s and live on a fixed income. The monthly cost of $70-$80 is not manageable with our Social Security checks. We are struggling to decide between paying for essentials like food and utilities. I have repeatedly requested for the contract to be canceled. Please understand our situation and do not burden us with this expense.
