Subject: Issue with SONY BRAVIA KD49XG8096BU 49" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV Dear Customer Service, I purchased the SONY BRAVIA KD49XG8096BU 49" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV with Serial Number [redacted] from Currys on 26/12/[redacted] for £[redacted].99. The TV recently developed a fault on the 12th of September [redacted], where the screen stopped displaying pictures while the sound is still functioning. Despite using it only for a year since September [redacted] and keeping it stationary in my second living room, I believe there must be an inherent factory fault with the product for it to fail so soon. As per the Sale of Goods Act [redacted] (as amended), I am entitled to goods of satisfactory quality that are fit for purpose and match their description. After attempting repairs through Currys, the TV was evaluated and deemed irreparable. I am attaching my original sales receipt for your reference. Subject: Disappointment with Curry's Cooker Purchase Good morning, I am reaching out regarding a recent purchase from Curry's in Burton. Approximately 10 days ago, we bought a new washing machine and a new electric cooker. The cooker was delivered yesterday at 8 a.m. and the delivery service was excellent. However, after using the cooker for the first time, we noticed that two of the hot plates were badly marked and couldn't be cleaned. We were not informed by the sales staff about the fragility of the hot plates or the need for special saucepans, which has left us feeling upset and disappointed. If we had known this information beforehand, we might have made a different purchase decision. This experience has tarnished our initial impression of Curry's reputation for quality goods. Order number CUR[redacted]: I recently purchased an LG 43Nano TV, and while attempting to order the free LG Tune Free FN4 wireless earphones as advertised on the website, I discovered they were out of stock in West Sussex and N Hampshire. Unfortunately, I had to remove the earphones from my order to proceed with the purchase. Is it possible to receive the earphones for free once they are back in stock? Thank you, Robin F.

I am disappointed with the services at Currys in Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 1HY, Wales. I purchased a DAB radio, and upon testing at home, it did not work for my favorite radio station, MW BFBS Gurkha Radio. I returned the item with the receipt on Saturday, the 25th of September, but a staff member rudely rejected the return, citing that the package was open. Even after explaining the situation, the manager supported the decision. This is the first time I have experienced such treatment despite being a long-time customer. Usually, returns are accepted without issue as long as there is a valid receipt within the return window. Could you please look into this matter for me as the return deadline is approaching on the 2nd of October? The radio is in good condition but is not the right fit for me.

Dear Sirs, I am writing from Mumbai, India, as a long-term user of your Cloud account for approximately 10 years. My account required renewal on October 3, [redacted], but due to a technical issue, the renewal payment from my credit card did not process correctly, leading to the suspension of my account as per your terms. I have been attempting to reach your representatives through international calls over the past two days to make the payment with my credit card, but have faced challenges in completing the process. I am unable to access the renewal website drop-downs as my login stops at "Account Suspended" and prompts for credit card details, which are not accepted. Upon contacting Customer Service, I was informed that the Cloud service is only available for the UK and Ireland, requiring payment with a UK issued credit/debit card. My account was initially set up by a salesman at Heathrow Airport 10 years ago, with renewals always processed with my India issued credit cards. If using a UK payment method is necessary, I can arrange for a friend in London to renew my account and make the payment. Could you please provide guidance on how a third party can make a payment on my behalf? I am eager to regain access to my important data stored in the cloud and would appreciate your prompt assistance and a clear procedure to resolve this inconvenience. I bought a Sony TV in June [redacted] from your Stirling store and also purchased a matching soundbar in July. However, they were not connecting properly. After researching online, I found out there is a known issue with the HDMI ports on this TV model preventing it from connecting to soundbars. I contacted customer care and was directed back to the store. After a frustrating exchange with Kirsten at the shop who was unhelpful and had a dismissive attitude, I was told to await repair. Dissatisfied with the service and feeling discriminated against for not having a spare TV due to being a wheelchair user, I insist on a different replacement TV due to the known fault. I also want a refund for the soundbar. I expect a prompt response before I escalate this matter, especially concerning the manager's insensitive comment. Darren A Heaton.

Order Number: CUR[redacted] I placed this order on 11.10.21 and paid for delivery on 12.10.21 between 5 - 10 pm due to work commitments. Unfortunately, the TV did not arrive as scheduled. I waited past 10 pm, hoping to assist the delivery person with the dark entrance to my home, but no one showed up. I provided my mobile number for updates, but no one contacted me to inform me of the delay. Now, the tracking information shows it will be delivered today, causing confusion as to why it wasn't delivered yesterday. I am disappointed with the service provided. Being without a TV since Saturday, prompt delivery was crucial. I cannot arrange for pickup as I don't have transportation.

Dear Currys Customer Service, I would like to address an ongoing issue I am experiencing with the Hotpoint dishwasher that I recently purchased from your store. The dishwasher has been manifesting a recurring fault, as it stops working after a few minutes of operation. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, it continues to malfunction. I followed all the necessary troubleshooting steps advised by Hotpoint, but the problem persists. After an engineer visit, I was informed that no fault was found, even though the issue reoccurred shortly after. This situation has been going on for almost a month now, and I am unable to utilize the dishwasher effectively. I believe this is an unacceptable level of service, and I am disappointed with how this matter has been handled by Hotpoint. I am Diana Stelmach residing at 67 Tillingbourne Road, Shalford, Guildford, GU4 8ES. I've recently had multiple purchases from Currys arriving damaged and subsequently returned. The latest purchase was a Samsung washing machine priced at £[redacted]. Despite requesting the delivery driver to open the box, the machine was still damaged with a large dent on the front. After rejecting the delivery, I reordered another. The customer service at the local Currys store in Guildford was disappointing. They were unhelpful, suggesting I ask a neighbor for laundry help and stating it wasn't their responsibility as I had ordered online. When I requested to speak with the manager, I was informed he was too busy. With three school-going children needing clean clothes daily, I've incurred costs using a laundrette due to the unusable washing machine. I am seeking compensation for missed work days waiting for deliveries and laundrette expenses.

I visited Currys in Berryden Aberdeen and purchased three £[redacted] Chromebooks, paying in full for them to be collected today. Upon arrival, only two were available as the third one was lost in transit. A manager named Olgierd explained that an internal investigation was ongoing, preventing me from receiving a refund or replacement at the moment. I believe this situation is unjust as I am left without the laptop or the funds to purchase elsewhere. I seek either the laptop or a refund in the next 48 hours; otherwise, I will seek legal guidance. Compensation for this poor customer service and a formal apology are also requested.

I had a very frustrating experience with your customer service. I ordered the SAMSUNG QE75QN94AATXXU 75" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR Neo QLED TV online. Initially, I was promised a price match, but then the TV did not arrive when expected and no one informed me. I had to follow up multiple times to get an invoice and confirmation on the order details. Despite confirming the model several times, I later found out that a 65-inch TV was being sent instead of the 75-inch TV I ordered. The customer service representative not only failed to resolve the issue but also canceled my order without notification. I am a loyal customer, but this experience has been a nightmare. I will be reaching out to your head office in London to address the poor service I received. This whole ordeal has left me incredibly disappointed in your company's treatment of customers.

The problem arose when the item I purchased turned out to be defective. Despite several attempts to have Curry's pick it up, the driver failed to show (supported by video evidence). Eventually, I was informed I could return the item to the store, which I did on the 12th of October at the Stratford Upon Avon location. Although I received a makeshift receipt from the store manager, I was disappointed by the lack of a proper receipt system for returns. As of today, the 23rd of October, I have used the chat service multiple times to track my return with no success. I insist that Curry's locate the item, remove it from my account, and waive any associated finance charges from the YOUR PLAN service. While Curry's usually provides good service, the return process has been quite a challenge, resulting in my dissatisfaction. I have lodged an official complaint with reference CC[redacted] and seek your prompt assistance in resolving this matter. Hello, I purchased a Samsung 65'' QLED television from Curry's in Stirling at Springkerse Retail Park on October 22nd. Upon setting it up, I noticed that the picture quality for everyday TV watching, both non-HD and HD, was poor. Various picture adjustment settings were unavailable, such as black and white adjustment and backlight adjustment. The whites appeared too bright, and the blacks lacked detail, especially in nighttime scenes. Despite seeking assistance in-store and contacting support, I was unable to resolve the issue. Samsung advised me to return the TV to the retailer for a replacement or refund. After returning it to the shop and explaining the situation, they claimed there was no issue but could not test it in non-HD or HD formats where the problem occurred. When I asked for a refund or an alternative TV, they refused. I left the TV with them, feeling frustrated about being £[redacted] out of pocket. I am seeking a full refund. I placed an order for a laptop on Saturday, October 23, with the expectation of next day delivery on Sunday, October 24. Despite receiving a tracking notification from DPD indicating the package was at their Hinckley depot, there have been no further updates. Attempts to get information from DPD and Currys have been unsuccessful. Today, October 25, after spending two hours trying to reach them, I am still in the dark about the delivery status. This is frustrating, especially because the item is available at my local store. I am unable to purchase it again, having already paid £[redacted] online. I am looking for either confirmed delivery today or the option to collect the laptop from my local Curry's store, with Currys and DPD addressing the delivery problem. I bought an iPad on September 28th, and also purchased a care package on October 20th. When I called the know-how team to inquire about the package, I was informed that there was no record of it. I filed a formal complaint with reference number CC[redacted], and was promised a response within 48 hours, but I have not received any communication from them yet. Instead, I received a letter referring to an Apple 10.2 256GB dishwasher care and repair plan, which is confusing as Apple doesn't make dishwashers. When I tried to clarify this over the phone, I was told my wife needed to speak with them regarding the matter related to a care plan she had for a dishwasher purchased before our marriage. However, as she was unavailable, the representative abruptly ended the call. I am seeking an explanation for this mix-up and the failure to activate my paid care package alongside my iPad. Despite requesting a refund, I have not received any updates or the refund so far. I would appreciate a resolution to this issue promptly.

I recently purchased an HP Envy 6032E printer from Currys Southend and encountered issues with it not connecting to the network despite the Wi-Fi being on. After receiving unhelpful and brusque customer service over the phone, including being abruptly hung up on, my confidence in seeking help from Currys has been shaken. I have a Care Plan and a printer replacement guarantee, yet I am left without a working printer and feeling hesitant to contact Currys again. I regret investing in these services as the accumulated costs could have been used to hire a technician for in-home support. I hope for a better resolution to this frustrating experience.

Hello, Thank you for reaching out. My spouse and I, both in our 60s, bought a 65-inch JVC Fire TV in February this year. We had no issues with the channels. We also got a JVC SoundBar but faced difficulties setting it up due to the SoundBar audio lead being too large for the TV's audio port. We sent the TV for repair last Wednesday and received it back this Wednesday with a repair report citing physical damage, which was not confirmed by the KnowHow delivery staff upon return. Furthermore, the TV was returned with TV stand feet but without screws to affix them. As avid TV watchers, we are now unable to do so. We kindly request a voucher for the price of a new Fire TV from the Lancaster Curry's store or an engineer visit to address the TV issues, ensuring they bring the necessary screws for the TV feet. On the 15th of October, I placed an online order for a Smeg double oven with the fitting and collection service for the old appliance. Through a phone call on the 16th of October at 17:14, I specified that I needed the gas oven disconnected and the electric one installed. Despite the initial delivery and fitting scheduled for the 27th of October, it was postponed to the 4th of October due to a delivery truck breakdown. However, on the 4th of October, the fitter was unable to install the oven as he was not licensed to handle gas appliances. After multiple rescheduling attempts and miscommunications with Curry's, I decided to cancel the order on the 14th of October. Although the oven was eventually collected on the 20th of October, I received further notifications from Curry's about a fitter arriving on the 1st of November, which led to more confusion. I have been requesting written confirmation of the cancellation and refund status since the incident unfolded. Despite numerous interactions with Curry's customer service, as of now, the order still shows as 'Delivered' in my account.

Recently, my five-month-old Logik L814WM20 washer started leaking. I tried contacting Currys PC World several times over the past month to report the issue, but the phone line kept disconnecting me. Due to my disabilities and incontinence problems, I had to continue using the washer until last week when I finally got through. A repairman visited on 02/11/[redacted] and unfortunately informed me that the washer needs to be scrapped due to "customer misuse" caused by something left in a pocket accidentally. Despite knowing this, I had no alternative but to keep using the washer. The situation has deeply upset me and negatively affected my mental health, especially considering the financial strain of purchasing the current washer. I am reaching out to Currys for assistance in resolving this matter.

I just received my dishwasher, but it arrived three hours late without any updates in the SMS I received. Additionally, there is a missing part - the blue door template. When I called Curry's helpline, I had to navigate through various automated responses and speak to three different people who all asked for my details but couldn't resolve the issue immediately. The last person mentioned I have to wait 24 hours for confirmation on the missing part, which I find unacceptable. I would appreciate a more streamlined and efficient customer service experience.
