I purchased a concession trailer from a seller named Eva Newman for $2,[redacted]. She explained she was selling it cheap due to a divorce. The trailer was listed on Craigslist with the contact number [redacted]. Upon inquiry, someone claiming to be her sister responded from the number [redacted]. To complete the transaction, Eva directed me to a suspicious URL requesting eBay gift cards. After sending the cards, I received a phony confirmation. As a single mother of three, this loss greatly affects my family. Despite reporting the incident to eBay, I am at a loss. Eva has since ceased communication.

My home phone number, [redacted], is being mistakenly given out to various individuals across the United States. Recently, I received a call from a person in Ohio with the number [redacted]. They mentioned getting an email from Craigslist about items they are selling, possibly a motorcycle. I would like to clarify that I am not involved in these emails being sent out. I want to highlight this issue as it has potential legal implications. I urge you to reach out to the Ohio number provided, as they mentioned they could share the email or text they received. Kindly address this matter promptly since my phone number is for my home and not for correspondence related to Craigslist. Additionally, I am a state of Connecticut police officer. Thank you.

My name is Harry McCauley, and I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted] My password is "beanfarmer." I am having an issue with either Craigslist or a person named Charlene Bacon from Castle Rock, Colorado flagging my posts immediately after I post them. My posts are for a [redacted] Ford Taurus SES and a brand-new, unused small trailer from [redacted]. I sold a car to Charlene Bacon with a bill of sale and she returned it after driving 70 miles. She and her husband, Brad, test drove the car and then asked to return it. I declined the return, but she offered me $[redacted] to take it back, which I accepted. However, after she signed a form regarding the $[redacted], my posts were deleted right after posting. I'm unsure if Charlene or Craigslist is behind this. I need this issue resolved promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

I am encountering errors on my computer and laptops. Every time I try to click the Reply button or Show Contact Info, I receive a message stating, "An error has occurred. "An error occurred, Please Try Again Later." This issue is specific to locations in the US as other locations are functioning correctly.
I have attempted to resolve this problem by using a private browser, but it persists across multiple browsers including Edge, IE 11, Google Chrome, and Firefox. Even after trying different internet providers, the error remains consistent.
I made sure all browsers are updated to the latest versions and have checked for any problematic add-ons without success. After unsuccessfully troubleshooting on multiple computers, I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

Yesterday morning, I received eight messages from different men claiming they saw my ad on Craigslist for sex. They had my number, picture, and were adding me for sex, even though I don't use Craigslist. I feel violated, devastated, and betrayed, despite knowing this is not me. I am upset and confused about how this happened.

As a dedicated Craigslist user who regularly buys and sells furniture and antiques, I have noticed a concerning trend recently. Many users are misusing these categories by posting unrelated items in a rush to sell quickly. Instead of sticking to relevant furniture and antique listings, I am bombarded with ads for hats, clothing, dishes, candleholders, and other household items that don't belong in these sections. While I appreciate accessories like lamps, pictures, mirrors, purses, cushions, and pillows in these categories, it's frustrating to navigate through irrelevant listings. I've taken it upon myself to flag inappropriate ads, including those soliciting intimacy in the "Household Gigs" section. I hope Craigslist can monitor these ads more closely to maintain the integrity of the platform. Thank you.

I recently posted an ad, and you mentioned it required further verification via email. However, despite checking my spam folder and ensuring my email is correct, I haven't received any verification emails. To make matters more confusing, I have a phone number linked to Google Voice on Craigslist, but I haven't received any calls either. As a result, my ad hasn't been posted yet, and I'd appreciate assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

I recently discovered that my house at 3 Cindy Place, Key Largo, FL [redacted], listed for sale by owner on Zillow, was fraudulently posted for rent on Craigslist. It seems someone took the photos and information from my Zillow listing. A concerned individual who saw both ads brought it to my attention with details from a phone number ending in [redacted]. I have reported this to the police and changed the locks after a missing key incident following termite tenting. I am requesting the immediate removal of the false rental listing. While the police are investigating, I wonder if there are additional steps I can take to identify the perpetrator. Thank you for any assistance provided. Sharon P.

I am encountering an issue where my free listings for older computers keep getting flagged and removed by someone repeatedly despite my compliance with all the rules. I have refrained from posting links to the Terms of Service as I am already familiar with them. I seek a resolution to this matter and request action such as blocking the individual responsible for flagging my ads, presumably a competitor selling similar items. I have multiple ads for refurbished, factory reset computers, purely for personal sales - not as a business looking to avoid paid advertisements. I strive to create informative listings by utilizing Photoshop to enhance details, which I believe does not violate any TOS policies regarding commercial ads. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

I am experiencing constant flagging of my ads for selling older computers in the free section. Even though I ensure they adhere to the rules, they keep getting removed. I have multiple ads for different computers, all refurbished and factory reset, not for business purposes. Utilizing Photoshop, I enhance the ads for better presentation, but this shouldn't violate any policies. Any assistance in stopping the continuous removal of my ads, possibly by blocking the party responsible, would be appreciated. Here is a snippet of one of my ad listings:
Dell Inspiron **** Laptop
This Laptop was recently updated with a new OS and apps, comes with a full warranty.
- Refurbished
- Loaded with Licensed, Full Versions of:
- Windows * Professional
- Office Professional Plus *****
- Adobe Flash Reader
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Virtual DJ**
- Microsoft Security Essentials
- IT Tools
- *gb ram
I am seeking clarity on the specific violation in my ads or help in preventing further removals by the individual flagging them.

I am currently listing my older computers for sale in the free section, but my posts keep getting flagged and removed by someone. Despite following all the rules, the ad keeps getting taken down repeatedly. It is frustrating, and I would appreciate some assistance in resolving this issue. I have multiple ads for computers that have been refurbished and factory reset, with the aim of selling them for a fair price. I am not a business trying to avoid paying for an ad, merely an individual looking to sell some items. I put effort into creating informative ads using Photoshop to enhance details, but I am not violating any terms of service regarding commercial advertisements. Thank you for your understanding.

For the past 4 years, I have been using Craigslist successfully to post free ads. Recently, almost every ad I put up gets flagged and removed. This issue started after a person responded to one of my ads for a parts vehicle. Although it clearly stated that only parts were for sale, the buyer insisted on purchasing the whole truck, which we declined. He left upset, threatening to prevent us from selling parts on Craigslist again. Since then, all my ads are constantly flagged and taken down. I am not running a business; this is a hobby my husband and I enjoy to supplement our income. We buy vehicles, sell the parts at fair prices, and crush the rest. I am unsure why my ads are flagged as none of them are fake or scams. They follow the same format with minor variations in the vehicle details. I am baffled as to why Craigslist removes my posts without investigating further, and I have had to change my contact information multiple times. I need clarification on what I am doing wrong as I strive to comply with all rules and guidelines. Thank you.

I am experiencing extortion, cyberbullying, phone harassment, and threats related to my dirt bike hobby on Craigslist. My ads were repeatedly flagged since June 20th. A person called me, claimed to be behind the flagging, and threatened to continue if I didn't stop. They even mentioned robocalling me and harassing me using various numbers. I reported this to Craigslist several times with no response. I also involved the police, and a report was filed at Fort Lauderdale P.D. under case number 34-1[redacted]02. Despite my efforts, the harassment persists. The individual demanded $[redacted] in cryptocurrency to stop the harassment. As a result, Craigslist deleted most of my ads. I believe my account was flagged due to the high volume of reposts caused by this individual's actions. I am seeking assistance to address this ongoing issue.

I have been using Craigslist for about 10-12 years. Around mid to late [redacted], I sold a [redacted] Toyota Supra for a low price of $[redacted] because my Mother lost her house and I had no place to store it. The buyer, an older man, intended to fix it up as a father-son project. Despite the car's higher value, I felt good about the sale. I notified the DMV of the sale. Recently, on Friday, June 29th, I received notice from the DMV that the Toyota I sold was left abandoned on a city street. Surprisingly, I am still listed as the registered owner because the buyer never transferred the title. I now need to prove I sold the vehicle. I sold the car on Craigslist in [redacted] but my search history only goes back to [redacted]. The fine is $[redacted], double what I sold the car for, and I sold it as a favor. Any guidance on how to access Craigslist ads from [redacted] would be appreciated.

I have attempted to post an ad on Craigslist, and after entering my credit card information, I received a message that the verification failed. I have used this card before without any issues, and can confirm there are no problems with it. I tried using my wife's credit card, but encountered the same problem. I've requested help before with no response. The case number provided is [redacted]. I kindly ask for someone to review this and contact me by phone to assist.
I also encountered an error stating my email address ([redacted]) is invalid, which is incorrect.
Thank you,

My ad got flagged and I've made changes. In the help section, I encountered some unhelpful comments. All I need is to understand what's wrong with the ad. I faced a similar issue last year while in Spain. When I returned home, everything was fine, so I figured it might have been due to being abroad. Posting ID [redacted].
