I am experiencing issues with opening contact information on Craigslist. When I try to access phone numbers, I receive an error message. This problem started suddenly last night, and it is preventing me from responding to listings efficiently. As most people prefer to communicate via text or phone calls, this issue is hindering my ability to make purchases on the platform. Despite sending emails, I have faced negative responses requesting me to use the provided text link in the post. Unfortunately, I am unable to utilize this link as well. These response problems have resurfaced after a period of smooth interactions on Craigslist. I recently sold a vehicle through the site and now need to purchase another one but I am unable to respond to listings. Your assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am very disappointed with the apartment scam in the Poconos. I paid $[redacted] to the individuals at weneedtomove and it turned out to be a total scam. The cottages that were advertised for $5 or $6 do not actually exist. It is frustrating to see such dishonesty. I urge the site to remove these listings if they have already been rented out. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I hope this issue gets resolved so that others don't fall victim to this scam.

Yesterday, I reached out regarding post id [redacted], which seems to have been flagged. Today, the same individual appears to be repeating the same behavior on at least three other posts for the event. Upon interacting with one of them, I received an identical word-for-word reply as two nights ago. Similarly, upon investigating another post, the instructions given were an exact copy of what I received two nights ago. I'm unsure of your protocol for such situations. I am not requesting any specific action, but I wanted to bring this to your attention.

Hello, my name is Bob P. I wish to express my frustration with the current system of flagging ads on this platform. It seems unfair that individuals can flag ads out of spite or for unknown reasons, affecting the hard work of others. I have been trying to post an ad asking for help to acquire a car for my mother, who is a heart patient, and have repeatedly faced flagging, especially when I mention trading an expensive TV. This situation is disheartening as it hampers our efforts to seek assistance. The lack of transparency in the flagging process and the absence of customer support to address these issues are disappointing. I am considering creating a YouTube video to shed light on this matter because several others have also expressed similar frustrations. It would be beneficial to establish a customer assistance hotline and have a better system where staff reviews reported ads before removal, ensuring fairness and clarity for all users. This issue is crucial for me as it affects my ability to help my mother in her time of need. Thank you for addressing this concern. - R. Patterson

On 11/22/19, I responded to a Craigslist ad for a cargo trailer. After contacting the seller, "Amanda," I was directed to communicate via email. Amanda claimed to use eBay’s services for the transaction. Once I received an email instructing me to purchase $[redacted] worth of eBay gift cards for escrow, I sensed something was wrong. Subsequently, I was asked for an additional $[redacted] for temporary insurance. After confirming with eBay, I discovered it was a scam. This experience highlights a prevalent issue on Craigslist. I urge for vigilance in dealing with such fraudulent schemes and hope for a refund of the $[redacted] I lost. The fraudulent phone number is [redacted], and email is [redacted]

My poodle rehoming ads keep getting flagged, and I suspect it's due to a specific individual. It's frustrating because when I browse Craigslist, I see numerous breeders freely advertising puppies for sale! Why am I being singled out? Shouldn't there be better monitoring to prevent this discrimination? I wish to either have my posts go up without interference or for all breeders selling puppies to be taken down. I hope to discuss this matter with a representative. Kindly reach out to me.

I rented a room from Michael Kell at [redacted] Oriole Way, San Marcos, CA [redacted]. I paid a $[redacted] deposit and moved in on September 1, [redacted]. After experiencing verbal abuse, I moved out on December 5th with the help of a sheriff. It's alarming that the sheriff has been there twice before. Michael is mentally unstable, and I fear for others' safety. I urge Craigslist to remove his listings to prevent more incidents. This situation is serious, and I worry someone will get hurt.

I believe I've just been scammed. My name is Mira. I posted an ad last night for a house rental in Mission. I got a text this morning from someone interested, claiming they needed verification due to Craigslist fraud. They sent a code from a different number and asked me to text it back. I obliged, but now they've said they'll call back later. Worried, I contacted the police who warned about potential account misuse. I'm seeking advice on how to handle this. Please reach out soon. My number is [redacted].

I'm considering purchasing two different trailers on Craigslist. I've received an order ID #[redacted]53, and the payment request is for an eBay Gift Card. I've tried calling 1-[redacted] with two questions, but they disconnected. After trying four times, the line just rings and then cuts off. I also received emails from two separate sellers, both claiming to be selling their trailers because their husbands passed away and they moved to Omaha to live with their sisters. Is this a scam?

Our business, Middleton Auto Parts, has mistakenly been flagged for not selling as a dealer, despite us operating as an automotive supply in Fraser, Michigan. We mainly deal with used parts and utilize Craigslist to sell cars, RVs, and truck caps. It seems that an individual in Fraser, Michigan is independently selling parts without any affiliation with Middleton Auto Parts. We want to clarify that we are, indeed, selling as a dealer and that the confusion may have arisen due to this other individual's activities.

I always follow C.L. guidelines in my posts, but they keep getting flagged. I don't understand why this keeps happening. It's unfair to C.L. users. Can you please help me and prevent random flagging? I have been using C.L. for over a decade, and I put in a lot of effort to create posts with pictures. Many of my friends are facing the same issue. Thank you. - R. Pruitt

I was informed by our realtor that our house and property were falsely listed on Craigslist. Today, a couple came to inquire about renting after seeing the scam listing. The person who posted it stole information from the realtor and misrepresented details. As the owner, we never posted our property on Craigslist. It's important for buyers to verify information on Craigslist. We plan to report this to the Better Business Bureau.

I previously listed our vacation rental on Craigslist. I am now trying to remove the listing. There have been instances where individuals contacted me to verify the legitimacy of the post since they were scammed by someone else who claimed to have the same rental. Today, someone called me to confirm if the listing was still active, and I explained that it was outdated and needed to be taken down. They mentioned sending me an email with the details of the post and the contract mistakenly sent to them by the scammer. However, I haven't received any email from them. I am concerned about the possibility of my information being misused and want to ensure the old post is removed promptly to prevent further scams.

There is an individual named Michael who is reaching out to furniture owners in the DC metro and Northern VA region, offering checks significantly higher than the listed price and asking for payment to his movers. This behavior seems suspicious and possibly connected to money laundering. I am unsure of the best way to alert the authorities to stop this individual. Yesterday, I received a check from him that was five times the value of the item, but I have not cashed it. Feel free to contact me via email for further information on this matter.

I found a sectional sofa on the Rochester Craigslist. The seller may not be familiar with the email system or might have forgotten to include a phone number in their ad - making it challenging to contact them. As there is no price listed, it's uncertain if this ad is genuine. Despite my attempts to reach out, I haven't received any responses. It seems that the seller has recently updated their listing, which could explain why my messages sent via the ad link haven't been received.

I am reaching out to address an issue with my CNA job postings being flagged on your site. I have listings for caregiver positions in New York and Boston, specifically for Alzheimer's and dementia care. Upon reviewing the posts, I see no reason for them to have been flagged. I kindly request for the flags to be removed. I believe the individual who flagged them should be cautioned about such actions, and if repeated, should be prohibited from using the site. You can contact me at 1-[redacted]. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I purchased a puppy on 12/9/19 from the seller, who met me at 5pm to hand over the puppy after I paid him. Sadly, two days later, the puppy was diagnosed with Parvo and passed away on Saturday at 10:00 am after accumulating $[redacted].00 in vet bills. The breeder offered me another dog, but I declined, and he promised a refund after selling another puppy on 12/21/19. I am considering legal action to recover the vet bills as the breeder assured a one-week guarantee for the puppy. I noticed he has more puppy ads up, claiming they do not have Parvo, but I can prove it's airborne based on my vet's diagnosis. I am working on finding his address to serve him; at the moment, I only have his phone number. If necessary, I will involve the police to locate him. This breeder is irresponsible for selling sick animals, causing harm to other pets and even humans. I urge for support in seeking justice.
