I am dealing with a persistent troll who keeps flagging my posts on this platform. This has been going on for months now. I posted today seeking help before and after knee replacement in the Activity Partners section in KCK. I've also posted about watching sports games on TV and attempted blind posts, but they all get flagged and taken down. This individual is harassing me by targeting and flagging my posts systematically. He manages to track them down regardless of the content. This problem started when I posted personal ads to connect with other men before the personals section was removed. The harassment continues. The person who is causing trouble changes his email daily, sometimes sending multiple emails from various accounts. Whenever I reply and mention the troll flagging my posts, they are promptly removed (likely by him). Additionally, he sends fake photos. I'm unsure if he is flagging maliciously or as a twisted game. I am fed up with this relentless harassment, as he is misusing this platform to target me. My Craigslist email is [redacted], the one I use for all recent posts. He seems to only find and flag my Community posts, not the ones I put up for sale. My personal email, which I never share on Craigslist, is [redacted] Can action be taken to prevent this individual from flagging my posts?

I have previously reached out to Craigslist for assistance, but I am baffled by their request for me to resolve the issue. Despite my efforts, I am unable to post car ads as I keep receiving notifications about a supposed violation of their terms of use. I have carefully reviewed their terms and ensured that my advertisements comply. I believe my listings are in line with all regulations. Therefore, I am requesting Craigslist to rectify the problem on their end so that I can successfully post my [redacted] Nissan Altima again. I have followed their recommendations, such as reposting and rewording the ad, to no avail. If anyone else has encountered a similar issue, I would appreciate any advice or insight. Thank you.

We are a nonprofit animal rescue group approved by the IRS and various NY State agencies. We have successfully used Craigs List for years to promote our pet adoption events and fundraisers. Unfortunately, in recent months, every post I make gets flagged and removed. Despite my efforts to comply with Craigs List rules, our posts still get taken down. It appears that another rescue group, with whom we had a falling out, might be purposefully targeting us. Their actions are negatively impacting our ability to find loving homes for our pets. We are seeking assistance to address this issue. The identifying number in our notice regarding the flag and removal is [redacted] (pets).

Dear Reader, the following advertisement was previously flagged. I noticed a typo but did not find any valid reason for the flagging. The account associated with this ad is linked to the email provided below. Please keep me informed. Thank you, M. Rifkind For Sale: [redacted] GMC Sierra SLE [redacted] V8 with extended cab (4 doors) and matching Leer shell ($[redacted]). This truck is a reliable daily driver, surprisingly powerful. The doors fit well, with a shell featuring a front slider and side-lift windows, along with a bed liner. I am the second owner; the previous owner was a local heating company. The truck has minor dents, and the interior needs cleaning. The truck has had recent mechanical servicing, including transmission and engine work. Front brakes and pads are new, while the rear brakes are around 50%. Rear tires are like new, but front ones will need replacing soon. The truck features a factory stereo and air conditioning. Reliable truck, as evidenced by reviews. Selling because I purchased a utility-bed truck for business. Registered through 10-[redacted]. Price: $[redacted] cash.

Hello, I am Mr. Littleton. I purchased an RV off Craigslist by bank wire from Emily Spencer. The contract was then handed over to Caldwell Green Transport Service. Unfortunately, the BBB has issued an alert about this company. I need guidance on how to proceed with filing charges and recovering my funds due to not receiving the promised vehicle. The RV in question, a [redacted] Fleetwood Revolution, was listed for $13,[redacted] in Delaware Craigslist. I sent the money to Caldwell Green Transport via TD Bank in South Carolina. Despite being given a tracking number, I have been unable to track the shipment and cannot reach Caldwell Green Transport. I am a frustrated Vietnam veteran seeking justice. Please contact me at [redacted]. Caldwell Green Transport's number is [redacted], and Emily Spencer's number is [redacted]. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue.

I recently experienced an unpleasant encounter with a customer service representative on CL. The rep flagged my post and rudely asked me to delete it, claiming I had violated guidelines by posting a free giveaway ad under the wrong category. The email communication I received was extremely offensive and disrespectful. I would like to be contacted about this issue, to ensure proper action is taken regarding the representative's behavior, and to repost my ad without further trouble. Below is a snippet of the unprofessional email I received for reference. Please visit the original craigslist post [redacted] and the about craigslist mail page [redacted]. If you come across any unwanted messages on craigslist, please use the provided link to flag them. Thank you.

I have been struggling for over an hour trying to resolve an issue with Craigslist. Initially, I exhausted all online support options available. When I attempted to contact them via email, I encountered a roadblock with the mandatory "Post ID" field, as the ID I provided was not accepted. Subsequently, I tried both provided phone numbers, but I was unable to reach a person without a specific extension number. My main objective is to access our longstanding account to repost our listing. Despite successfully reposting last Friday, today the same password is being rejected without any changes made by me. Even after trying to reset the password with a longer and supposedly stronger one, it was still deemed "not strong enough." I am at a loss for what steps to take next to rectify this situation.

I would like to understand the reason for being instructed to stop posting my ad. PostingID: [redacted]. This ad has been posted without issues for many years. I am a professional esthetician offering waxing services. However, I recently received an email stating the removal of the ad and a refund request has been initiated. The email suggests not using the platform for such postings. I believe my ad falls under the legitimate beauty service category, like other waxing and massage ads that are still live. Kindly clarify what policy my ad violates compared to the others that remain on the site. Thank you.

I'm fairly new to using CL and recently I've been facing an issue when trying to create a post. After adding the details and proceeding to the map section, I can't progress beyond that point. Today, I noticed a box with an "x" and the number 2 next to it. I suspect this might mean I have been flagged twice. I'm not sure what I've done to trigger this. Can anyone advise me on what steps I need to take to address this situation?

I discovered that there is a fraudulent listing for my rental cabin on Craig's List. Our cabins are not listed on Craig's List. The cabin in question is named Bearly BeeHaven. As the rightful owner, I am requesting the removal of this listing from your site. This is the second time I am asking for this to be done. Unfortunately, some guests have been charged and left without accommodation due to this fraudulent listing. To verify ownership, you can log into VRBO.com and find property # [redacted]. The photos and description will match my listing. You will also see that George (Mickey) and I are the owners of this cabin. I demand the immediate removal of the ad for Bearly BeeHaven to prevent further issues. If necessary, I will pursue legal action against the offender. I urge you to take action promptly as I may escalate this matter if needed. Thank you for your cooperation. - T.F.

I mistakenly clicked the "prohibited" button on an ad that was not violating any rules. I wanted to inform you that it's currently impossible to reply to any ads on Craigslist. Several people I know have tried to respond to ads in the past 24 hours without success. The ad I reported incorrectly was from someone in Lancaster, PA, looking for a house before Christmas. Please repost their ad and ask them to include a phone number so I can contact them directly since the email reply function isn't working. With Christmas approaching, urgent assistance is needed. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

I bought a [redacted] Lark 6X10 Motorcycle Trailer on Craigslist from Cindy Owens in Fargo, ND. She mentioned using eBay buyer protection and forwarded an email from eBay Motors requesting payment via eBay Cards for the trailer and insurance. I paid $1,[redacted] with eBay gift cards but now they are asking for more money for taxes, making me suspicious that it might be a scam. I am concerned and unsure if I can get my money refunded. Thank you. -Mark

I am experiencing issues with my ads not appearing on my account correctly. Despite posting an ad for a truck, I found a posting number for a Honda car instead. This has occurred four times in the last two months, leading to frustration as my ads are not being displayed but other people's ads are showing up. I am concerned about the placement of the ads on my account and the lack of visibility for the items I need to sell. It is essential that my ads are posted accurately to avoid any further confusion.

Hello, I'm Brent Sherota, an attorney from Atlanta, GA. I recently stumbled upon a company called Emotorspark Traders while looking to purchase a used car online. Their claim of a 10+ year affiliation with Craigslist has left me skeptical about their legitimacy. I'm reaching out to seek advice on whether this company is trustworthy. I don't want to fall victim to a potential scam. Your input would greatly influence my decision to engage with them. Your prompt response is highly appreciated. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted]. I prefer discussing this matter with a real person as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance. Warm regards, Brent

I want to address an ad that has been circulating in various areas for an LG front load washer and gas dryer priced at $[redacted]. The post, with ID [redacted], has been up for quite a while. I tried to purchase the dryer, but encountered issues communicating with the seller. Despite numerous attempts to meet up, the seller was always out of town and failed to provide an address. After some back and forth, I never received a response about the meeting details. This experience raised concerns about the legitimacy of the post and what the seller might do with my contact information. Fortunately, I found a different gas dryer elsewhere. I urge for an investigation to prevent any potential fraudulent activities on Craigslist and ensure the safety of all users.

For over a decade, I've been offering top dollar for your silver coins, meeting at a secure TD bank location for convenience and safety. Beware of others offering lower prices; I guarantee fair rates. I pay a minimum of $10 for Morgan and PEACE dollars, $5-6 for Quarters, dimes, and half dollars, and more for high-quality coins. I offer $15 and up for PEACE dollars, $18 and up for Morgan Dollars, and competitive rates for various other coins. I provide reasonable prices for gold coins and jewelry, ensuring a fair deal. Don't be misled by others who pay less, such as Uncle Tim, Trader Joe, or pawn shops. I value integrity and aim to help individuals looking to sell their collections quickly and fairly. Contact me with a photo, description, and quantity for a quote, as prices fluctuate with the market. Unfortunately, I’ve encountered flagging issues on my posts, immediately removed after posting. If anyone is unfairly targeting my listings, I kindly ask for assistance in resolving this matter. Please contact [redacted] for further inquiries. Your understanding and help are greatly appreciated.

I am encountering an issue with someone repeatedly flagging my posts over the past two months. The flagging is inconsistent and only affects some of my posts. Despite changing how I list my phone number, the problem persists. Recently, one of my posts with the ID [redacted] was flagged. I am under the impression that it typically requires two individuals to flag a post, but this is not the case for me. This issue occurs across multiple city sites where I post, implying either a targeted effort against me or the specific item I am listing. Any advice on how to resolve this matter would be appreciated.

I recently received a text message claiming to be from Craigslist. The message came from phone number (85) [redacted] and said I had 2 new voice messages with a link. After researching online, I found similar reports on forums. I have not clicked the link and will not. Should I forward the text to Craigslist for investigation? I just want to alert you about this issue to help prevent others from falling for such scams. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I'm Dean Sigman, a regional manager for a local ISP facing an issue affecting over [redacted] customers who are unable to respond to posts on your website. I personally encountered the same problem. The difficulty we're experiencing involves clicking on email or phone number links, which triggers an error message displaying a gray screen with the message "sorry, something went wrong." We've painstakingly reviewed all firewall rules on our servers, routers, and computers to ensure no ports are blocked. Additionally, we've attempted to resolve the issue by resetting all web browsers and testing multiple browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari, but encountered the same undesirable outcome. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

Last week, while browsing Craigslist, I found an iPhone X listed for $[redacted]. Excited about the deal, I contacted the seller who claimed to be in a military base and part of eBay's buyer protection program. After providing my eBay account information, mailing address, and phone number, the seller sent an invoice from what looked like eBay Motors, asking for payment. Believing it was legitimate, I purchased $[redacted] worth of eBay gift cards and sent the codes as instructed. However, soon after, I was asked for an additional $[redacted] for shipping insurance. Realizing I had been scammed, I felt devastated. Despite contacting eBay and learning they couldn't assist with transactions outside their platform, I find myself turning to this forum for help. The seller's email is [redacted] Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
