I recently received my new Doro [redacted] phone and while setting it up, I accidentally locked it after entering the wrong codes. The phone is now asking for the PUK code, which is supposed to be on the bottom of the box according to the manual. However, there was no sticker or code to be found in the box. Could you please provide me with the PUK code so I can unlock my phone and start using it? Thank you. - Larry Brown

I have made multiple attempts to contact your customer service team, but unfortunately have not received satisfactory assistance. I am considering discontinuing my service with you, despite being a customer for many years. My main concern is with the functionality of the 3rd party '[redacted] service', which has not been working properly for several months now. The system does not allow users to input or request specific information beyond the initial greeting, leading to a message stating 'the number you requested is not listed in the directory'. This issue needs to be addressed promptly in order to keep me and other customers satisfied.
Kind regards,
Glen D.

I received my statement exceptionally late for my January 3 payment, on December 26, [redacted]. I promptly wrote a check and mailed it after finding out that my account still shows overdue. Given the holiday rush, I believe the delayed statement and payment may be due to the overwhelming season. I have two concerns: first, I wish to avoid a phone service interruption since this is my only means of communication, and second, I think it's unfair to incur late fees due to the statement's tardiness. I typically send my payments in advance to ensure timely arrival, but the delayed statement hindered me this time. I prefer to mail my payments to avoid online or phone transactions after falling victim to hacking in the past.

I recently signed up with CC this past weekend. I was disappointed to find out yesterday that I couldn't receive group texts like I used to with Verizon. I was informed that my Galaxy A50 was only 3G, but after speaking with Samsung, they confirmed it is actually 4G. I am concerned about this issue because it impacts communication with my 97-year-old mother in a nursing home. Please help me resolve this problem, or I will have to cancel my service. When my siblings visit our mother, we rely on group messaging, but all I see is "downloading..." instead of receiving their messages.

I have been using your service since July [redacted] with a [redacted] MB plan for light phone and web usage. Despite minimal calls, I received an unexpectedly high bill for 3GB, prompting me to cancel my service.
After multiple unsuccessful phone attempts, I contacted Zachary A. via your website chat on Dec 28, [redacted]. He clarified my final balance was $31.99 due by January 6. He offered a courtesy rerate reducing it to $26.75, which I promptly paid before the due date.
Despite paying the bill, I received a reminder for $31.99. Please review the Chat Transcript provided by Zachary A. to address this discrepancy promptly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Subject: Trouble with Boarding Process
I had a second unsuccessful attempt to board due to the same issue as before. Both interactions with your staff did not resolve the problem, and I feel like I wasted my time. I kindly request a review of the boarding issues experienced with this account and appreciate any insights you can share.

I recently received an email stating our billing address was updated to the new address, but we were informed our two phone orders were sent to our old address. We urgently need those phones as we currently don't have a way to reach our doctors, pharmacies, or family. We are requesting the delivery of the phones we paid for. If we are billed again, we will take legal action. Our current address is 30 Cypress Blvd. Apt. [redacted], Round Rock, Texas [redacted]. Please rectify this issue promptly.

I subscribed to Consumer Cellular service in December and purchased an Apple iPhone SE. I asked them to transfer my number from Tracfone, but it was not done, and my account got canceled on January 4th. I managed to get the number ported by contacting Tracfone myself and informed Consumer Cellular. However, even after receiving an email confirming reconnection, my service was not restored, and Tracfone closed my account. With my phone being my work tool, the lack of service affects my income. I am unable to use my phone to contact my work for updates.

I lost the phone I was using. Since I received a new phone over a month ago, I have reached out and received instructions to call, but as an 80-year-old living alone, I struggle to follow them. I received an email with directions on how to use the phone, but with the workload on my farm, I couldn't make use of it. I attempted to call for assistance but faced a 30-minute wait. I'm not very tech-savvy, especially when it comes to computers and cell phones. Could someone please offer me some help?

We are currently in the process of switching 3 phones from ATT to CC. We contacted customer service to activate one phone but wanted to wait for the unlock codes for the other two phones from ATT. The customer service representative accidentally activated one of the phones we weren't ready to switch yet, which happened to be crucial for my granddaughter's work. To temporarily solve this, I swapped phones with her, placing the activated sim card in her phone. However, a message indicated that the phone may need to be unlocked. This poses a concern as the unlock code from ATT will be sent to her phone, which is now already CC activated. Is it possible to activate her phone back to ATT until we are ready to switch it to CC?

I have been receiving multiple texts from various email addresses without phone numbers attached.
After researching how to stop this issue, I have found that I cannot block it myself but need to contact my carrier, AT&T, as per Article *[redacted]. Despite being told by an online chat representative that it can be resolved with a call, I was later informed by a different agent and supervisor that I should seek assistance from Apple.
It seems that the information provided by your agent was inaccurate. I have learned that this is an SMS message from an email account that must be disabled at the gateway.
Therefore, I kindly request your help in blocking incoming email messages to my text messages.
Best regards,
C. H.

I have been using AT&T towers for several years. I started using Consumer Cellular due to their excellent service and customer support. I temporarily left when I needed unlimited data for my two teens and small business. I returned to Consumer Cellular when they introduced unlimited data. I reside approximately 1.25 miles from an AT&T tower. Over the years, the signal strength at my house has dropped from 4 bars to 2 bars. We primarily use iPhones, including a 7, 7+, and 8+, as well as a recently switched Google phone. Despite contacting Customer Service at Consumer Cellular, I was informed they are unable to request AT&T to check their tower service. I have been unsuccessful in having anyone address the tower degradation. It's baffling that a reputable company like Consumer Cellular seems to lack the means to address a weakened tower with one of their primary network providers. Feel free to access my account with the provided email and phone ending in [redacted]. Thank you. - Dave

On 2-4-[redacted], I recently updated our credit card information with the delightful and professional customer service representative, Tammi. During the call, Tammi kindly reminded me about renewing our AARP membership. I informed her that we have switched to AMAC instead, even though it will affect our savings with Consumer Cellular. I mentioned to her the increasing number of AARP members opting for AMAC in recent years. Tammi agreed to bring up the idea of partnering with AMAC to Consumer Cellular. She suggested reaching out to customer service via email regarding this matter. We believe that many former AARP members, like us, now support AMAC and would appreciate if Consumer Cellular could consider collaborating with them for potential customer discounts. Thank you for your attention to this matter. :-)

Hello, I am Steve Cataldi. My account number is [redacted]81. The phone I returned was purchased on 7/27/[redacted]. Even though the one-year warranty had expired, I returned it because of repeating numbers issue. Despite spending over an hour with customer service on Saturday, 2/13, we couldn't resolve the problem by updating the software. I decided to order a new phone on 2/13/[redacted] and was charged $53.50, which I disagree with as I believe the original phone was defective. Does Consumer Cellular support their products? I've been a customer for over two years and generally happy with the service. The defective phone was returned with a note to a Supervisor on Tuesday, 2/15/[redacted], and I'm now waiting for the replacement. Thank you for your attention.

Dear Consumer Cellular Staff,
I have been a loyal customer of Consumer Cellular for several years. I have a single line with unlimited minutes but no texting or data on my basic flip phone. Cost is a concern for me, so I am curious about the cost of adding texting to my plan and if my flip phone can be used for texting. I am unsure about how data works and if a more advanced phone is needed for it. If I have a separate internet provider, how does the data usage work between them and Consumer Cellular? Additionally, I would like information on the cost of adding texting to my plan, as well as the pricing of new flip phones and basic smartphones. The current situation with the lack of information on your website is a challenge. I appreciate any details you can provide.
Thank you,
Ernest Mirras

I would like to know how to remove phone numbers in the call forwarding settings for busy, unanswered, and unreachable calls.
Whenever my husband leaves a voicemail on my phone, a strange number, [redacted], appears instead of his. I can't recognize this number, and it's not saved in my contacts. How can I delete this unknown number from my phone? I recently received assistance from a helpful representative named Gezel who resolved my call forwarding issues. She ensured no unfamiliar numbers were set for forwarding, and I didn't add any such numbers.
I believe it's crucial to address this issue of number spoofing by potential scammers. If phone companies tackle and resolve this matter promptly, it could attract more customers. I hope this problem receives attention soon for the benefit of all users.
Sincerely,
Marge Barton [redacted] ([redacted])

I am having trouble with my voicemail. After contacting customer service and going through two new sim cards, I discovered that my phone only rings once before going to voicemail, with a message on the screen indicating that I have a voicemail. This situation is unacceptable. I am frustrated that there is no way to change the number of rings before voicemail kicks in. If I had known this beforehand, I would not have purchased this phone. I am used to having the option to choose my ring settings on previous phones. I only bought this phone as my Tracfone was outdated, and I believed Consumer offered a simpler monthly plan. Additionally, the Consumer voicemail system requires a 7-digit password, which I find to be excessive. I wish I had been aware of these limitations before purchasing the phone. I am not pleased with being stuck with this new phone.

I didn't find any instructions on how to remove the battery. I tried pulling up the little flap and tugging gently, but the battery didn't come out. I didn't want to damage anything, so I put the Microsoft SDHC card back in place, reinstalled the cover, and plugged the phone into the charger. It is now charging in increments while apparently installing all the tech stuff.
My question now is, how can I change the battery when necessary if I can't remove the old one?

I recently signed up for the home phone replacement service to save money, but the experience has been frustrating. I have had to make multiple calls to customer service, dealing with long wait times and repeating my issue each time. The confusion around a "Transfer PIN" and the lack of consistency in the information provided by different representatives has made the situation even more challenging. Despite efforts to rectify the signal issue with the phone base, it persists. Even after purchasing a SIM from Target with the promise of reimbursement, the SIM was misprogrammed, causing further complications. The email confirming the phone number transfer was inaccurate, and the SIM intended to work in the base has not solved the problem. The situation has led to discrepancies between the XR and iPhone 7 phones, causing oddities like both phones ringing for one number and mailbox setup issues. I am seeking a replacement phone base with a tested SIM installed to correct these issues, or I may have to consider returning to Spectrum for a reliable service. Thank you.

I am reaching out to see if anyone has encountered a similar problem and if there is a solution available. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
