Hello, I created a Coinbase account on December 21, [redacted], and successfully verified it. However, I am unable to add a payment method at the moment. The message I receive says that my account is under review, and it may take a few days. Today is December 29, [redacted], which is over a week, and I still cannot add a payment method. I would appreciate it if someone could address this issue promptly. Please let me know the next steps or if there is a specific reason for the extended review process.
Thanks,

Hello, my account was restricted, preventing me from making purchases. I logged out, logged back in, and verified a new device (phone). However, it has been in verification for several days now, and I still can't make purchases. Please complete the verification process soon. Thank you.
Almost three weeks later, I am editing my post to add that my account is still UNDER VERIFICATION by Coinbase. Please, complete the verification so I can access my account.

I recently upgraded to a new iPhone, and now my authenticator is not recognizing me, making it impossible to log in to Coinbase with 2-step authentication. I tried to get re-verified on the Coinbase website. I uploaded a picture of my driver's license, but I received a message saying that I couldn't be verified because on my NV driver's license, the names are listed as Carr, Gall instead of Gale Carr. In Nevada, driver's licenses list the last name first at the top, followed by the first name. Any suggestions on what steps I should take next?

I have tried to access our Coinbase Bitcoin account multiple times. It seems our account has been locked. When I called the number [redacted], it was only a recording with irrelevant options. Our accounts were opened in July [redacted] with investments in Bitcoin, Bitcash, Ethereum, and Litecoin. These had balances until April [redacted] when I wanted to make changes but discovered my account was locked. Our names are Cynthia Mackesy and Mark Mackesy. I believe we set this up using my phone number [redacted] with his number as backup [redacted]. Our email is [redacted] Please contact us urgently. Thank you, Cindy Mackesy.

Good evening, I am writing from Italy and I truly need help. I apologize if my message is long, but the situation is serious and difficult.
On December 8, [redacted], I purchased €[redacted] through my Coinbase.com account [redacted], which I sent on December 9, [redacted] to my Trader for investment.
Shortly after, my Coinbase.com account was disabled for purchases/deposits and sales for unknown reasons.
My husband, Davide Alvisi, and I, Bonny Lara Cannas, are the owners of the people and payment methods used on the Coinbase.com account.
To address the issue, I closed the Coinbase.com account linked to [redacted] and opened a new Coinbase.com account with the same email. However, the wallet addresses have changed, causing discrepancies with the initial transaction.
After attempting to verify the new account with a bank transfer, the account remains disabled for deposits/purchases. Despite my efforts to resolve this, I am unable to receive my profits from the Trader due to address mismatches.
Seeking a solution, I opened three more Coinbase.com accounts out of desperation. However, all accounts are now disabled for deposits/purchases, leaving me unable to access my profits or make new transactions.
I am willing to provide any necessary documentation to verify my identity and resolve this issue with Coinbase.com. Your assistance in rectifying this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Bonny Lara Cannas

Dear Coinbase,
I am facing a problem with your ID verification process. Your system indicates that my profile cannot be verified because my Identity cannot be confirmed. Despite providing what I believe to be accurate information, verification remains unsuccessful. I am a Syrian citizen with a Lebanese mother, holding a 3-year Lebanese Residency Permit. I submitted a passport photo specifying my birthplace, which did not suffice. I was then asked for a driver's license, to which I provided the Front ID of my father's license as I do not possess one.
Although I am Syrian, I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, where I currently reside. I am unable to list a Syrian address as I do not reside there.
Please consider these details.
Thank you.

Subject: Verification Issue with ID
Hello,
I submitted my ID for verification over a month ago, and while I can access my Coinbase account, I keep encountering a message prompting me to verify my identity. When I attempt to verify, I am notified that my ID card info does not match the personal details I provided earlier. Despite having a valid ID recognized by your system, the verification process seems to be incomplete.
With the looming deadline of January 16th approaching, I am concerned about potential restrictions on my account, particularly during these challenging times. I urge you to address this matter promptly to avoid any disruptions to my business operations in Italy.
Thank you for your assistance in resolving this issue promptly.
Best regards,
A.C.

I have been trying to have someone guide me through getting my account verified for over a month with no response other than canned emails that are not helpful. I was working with a person named Dave at the phone number [redacted], but he has stopped answering that number. The number [redacted] used to be answered by a live person, but it is now disconnected. I have sent numerous emails explaining the problem with absolutely no help. I have repeatedly communicated via email and phone calls that I am unable to receive a verification number through your system to be verified. I have multiple other accounts that use the same method without any issues. I need someone to assist me in opening this account.

I am writing on behalf of Mr. Giulio Chiavaccini from Chiavari, Italy, regarding his CoinBase account associated with the email [redacted] Mr. Chiavaccini has been unable to access his account for over a month, despite requesting its reactivation following concerns of computer fraud. The customer service (Case #[redacted]9) at Coinbase has not provided a satisfactory resolution, causing significant distress to my client.
I urge Coinbase to promptly reactivate Mr. Chiavaccini's account. Failure to do so may result in legal action from Mr. Chiavaccini.

A few weeks ago, I locked my Coinbase account due to attempted hacking. I received text notifications about password changes I didn't make, so I secured the account. Now, I'm struggling to regain access to update settings and change my email address. Despite submitting clear pictures of my driver's license multiple times recently, they can't verify it. This situation is frustrating me. I've even set up Google Authenticator for added security. I need assistance with this issue.

In [redacted], I purchased bitcoin from Coinbase. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the email account I used for this transaction and have forgotten the password as well. When attempting to retrieve an SMS code, I discovered that my account was locked, and all communication was automated. After successfully verifying my phone number with a code, the system prompted me to log in and change my email and password, which is not possible since I cannot access the initial email account. Clicking "forgot email" leads to an attempt to send an email to the now inaccessible account.

I transferred ETH from my Coinbase wallet to my brother's email, even though he doesn't have an account. The support team mentioned it would be returned if not claimed. It's been 45 days with no resolution. I contacted them, but emails are delayed by 3 days. I'm frustrated by the lack of customer service and high fees. It feels like I'm only interacting with bots. It's a significant amount of money. Anyone interested in a class-action lawsuit against them? I wish I could rate them minus [redacted] stars instead of one.

I reached out previously about my account verification on January 6th. I got a response on 01/06 regarding a purchase I attempted to make on the same day, mentioning that my debit card was not accepted. However, this is not the transaction I am inquiring about. On January 4th, I signed up for Coinbase to buy Ethereum for $[redacted].20, and I provided my debit card details. It appears that the transaction went through since $1.44 is pending in my checking account. Despite this, I have not received confirmation for my purchase on January 4th. Although I received emails on January 5th requesting ID verification, I am unsure how to proceed with this step. Could this be why the purchase is delayed? In the latest email, I was advised to reach out to support for help, but so far, that hasn't been successful. Dealing with Coinbase has been quite challenging. I only attempted the January 6th purchase because my account was prompting me to do so. I am specifically interested in the account I established on January 4th for purchasing Ethereum for $[redacted].20.
Best regards,

I encountered an issue accessing my Coinbase account when trying to log in on my new phone. Despite multiple attempts to enter or paste 2-factor authentication codes, I still couldn't access my account. The lack of customer service options is frustrating, as submitting help tickets has not yielded any meaningful assistance. I attempted to log in from various devices, including my laptop, desktop, iPad, and old cell phone without success. The request for a driver's license or picture ID for verification poses a challenge due to a name discrepancy caused by marriage. The absence of phone support and minimal response to email inquiries, with promises of follow-up that never materialize, has left me locked out for five weeks. Multiple help tickets have been closed without resolution (#[redacted]9, #[redacted]8, #[redacted]6, #[redacted]6, #[redacted]8). The lack of support is concerning, especially considering the number of users facing similar issues without access to their funds.

On January 2nd, I decided to invest $[redacted] in Bitcoin through my linked bank account. The purchase reflected instantly in my portfolio, raising it to $[redacted]. However, on January 6th, I noticed an additional $[redacted] deduction by Coinbase from my bank account, totaling $[redacted]. The second transaction did not reflect in my portfolio but debited my bank account. After contacting Coinbase, they refunded the duplicated $[redacted] transaction, which is evident on my bank statement. Despite this refund, when I attempted to withdraw my initial $[redacted] investment, the system now shows I owe $[redacted]. This is confusing as you already debited $[redacted] from my account. The situation is frustrating as I believed the issue was resolved with the refund, only to be told I owe $[redacted]. The double charge was unfair, and the impending deduction from my portfolio needs urgent attention. The inability to reach a human representative via customer service has added to my frustration. I can be contacted at [redacted]. Your prompt resolution of this matter is appreciated.

I previously reported this issue and was assigned Case #[redacted]7. I am seeking a prompt resolution but have not received a response in a few days. I am concerned about a possible compromise by an employee named John and hope to avoid escalating this matter. I provided receipt copies in my initial report. I urgently need the funds transferred to my bank account.
My name is Evelyn Angeline S. On January 4, I intended to transfer funds from Coinbase to my Wells Fargo account. I contacted [redacted] and spoke with John at the Orlando office. Despite requesting a simple transfer, John steered the conversation towards profit strategies. As a result, funds were inadvertently moved to ETH within the account. Following an Account Recovery process, $[redacted] was transferred successfully, but $[redacted].77 and $[redacted].12 remain unaccounted for. I kindly request a review and retrieval of these funds back to the ETH account.

On January 4th, I contacted 1-[redacted] and spoke with John from Orlando. I wanted to transfer funds to my bank account, seeking a straightforward solution. John suggested converting $[redacted] of BTC to ETH due to ETH's rising value compared to BTC. He also recommended converting ETH to ETC, worth around $[redacted]. I received confirmation emails from COINBASE for these transactions, yet the funds have not reflected in my account. Since January 4th, I also completed an Account Recovery Process and successfully transferred $[redacted] USD to my bank. As of January 8th, the $[redacted] and $[redacted] from the conversions are still missing from my COINBASE holdings. I'm eager to know the status of my funds.

Yesterday, I transferred £[redacted] from my bank account to my CB account and then transferred the funds to my CB Pro account. Unfortunately, there was an error, and I got locked out of my CB account for about an hour. The funds appear to have been deposited in both accounts, but they are not reflecting in either account. I received an email from CB confirming the successful deposit for trading. My case number is [redacted]7. I only received a confirmation email stating that the team is addressing customer inquiries. I've provided all necessary details to track the funds and would like assurance that this issue is being investigated. I'm hesitant to deposit any more funds until this is resolved. It would be reassuring to know that someone is actively working on resolving this, especially since I've seen others on Reddit experiencing similar issues.

My Coinbase account was suspended on 12/28/20 for reasons I believe are incorrect. I provided a bank account number for automatic funds withdrawal for trading. Unfortunately, Coinbase mistakenly used a closed old account instead of the new one ending in [redacted]. I urgently request Coinbase to update the account to the correct one to resume trading as there are sufficient funds available. Time is of the essence, and any further delay in restoring my account will result in significant losses on my end.

Hello,
I am new to using this platform, and I accidentally transferred money directly from my bank to an account in Estonia. I assumed the money would automatically be transferred to my Coinbase account using my bank details. However, there was no reason or code provided in the transfer. Can you please ensure that the €[redacted] is transferred to my Coinbase account? Thank you.
